Negative experience: I went there because I needed help to submit a receipt from a tow truck fee and the person I talk to was extremely unhelpful,she didn’t even want to talk to me at the beginning ,after insisting she told me to submit online because there office is not for that!!!!! Great job lady!!!

Negative experience: Unreliable & Unprofessional – Left Waiting for Hours with No Show! CAA towing has been a complete disappointment every time I’ve needed them. I’ve had to wait 2-3 hours for a tow, and on multiple occasions, they never even showed up! After waiting endlessly with no response, I had to cancel and find another solution. On top of that, their customer service is rude and unhelpful, acting like they don’t care at all. What’s the point of having a roadside assistance membership if they never actually assist you? Save yourself the frustration—CAA is completely unreliable when you actually need them.

Fantastic experience: CAA Travel for the win in my books! Misty was amazingly patient while my family booked their first family vacation. She handled all my annoying questions with grace and replied swiftly when I emailed her. We had a last minute change with one of our people and had to swap them out for someone else and my panic set in. Misty's "no problem, let me call Air Canada and confirm what we can do" left me feeling I had the right person looking out for us! The trip is booked and we are off in just over a month thanks to Mistys support through it all. If you have never travelled before, she is your agent as she provided all the info (or got it for us) and lots of great tips! Thank you Misty it was worth going out of town to find you!

Fantastic experience: Very well organized place. Fantastic customer service! Location couldn't be better. Everyone extremely helpful I was in and out with my international driver's license in 10 minutes photograph taken on a spot. Lots of good traffic related items for sale.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the larger CAA locations in our area. Reasonable parking, several agents available to help. Lots of travel supplies and passport photos are available.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service provided by Taylor. She was efficient, knowledgeable, caring, and with a sense of humour. She helped us navigate the alternative travel health insurance options. It was worth driving 49 kms instead of doing it online. For this experience and more, CAA membership makes absolute sense.

Fantastic experience: Had to get passport photos taken. Walked in and was done within 10 mins. I have a CAA membership so the photos were free too.

Negative experience: Unbelievable.. 3 staff with no-one in front of them. 2 girls talking about a sign and moving it 2 inches... sorry we are completely booked out. Ok, looks like flight centre gets our business... we won't be joining again.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful, friendly staff. They were able to provide with me with the maps I needed and answer all of my questions. (With my CAA membership the maps are free) Store is clean and easy to find - ample parking available as well.

Negative experience: Poorly trained customer service rep today when I went to purchase travel insurance. I was the only person in the store and there were two associates working at the front desk. Chelsea asked me to “step aside to read the fine print” of the policy!! She told me “we might have other customers coming that we will have to help “!! Shocking!! There was nobody else in the store, it was 4pm!! I have never been dismissed like this… I told her there is nobody behind me! I was going to purchase the insurance but wanted to read the fine print!! I gave this feedback to the manager, she apologized, but no resolution was offered. Getting my travel insurance elsewhere and do not recommend CAA at all!! It is unfortunate as the other associate is experienced and very good—

Negative experience: I spoke with a lady there in regards to travel medical insurance, and all I have to say is that lady needs a refresher in customer service. She was extremely rude and just outright not pleasant at all. Her tone was extremely condescending.

Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30 PM to discuss travel insurance with a broker. They couldn’t be bothered to call me for my scheduled appointment time. I patiently waited for one hour before calling them to find out what’s going on. When I called, the receptionist transferred me over to the specific department, and I got their voicemail. Needless to say, if this is how CAA is going to conduct business, I am going to purchase my insurance elsewhere.

Negative experience: Super disappointed in the recommendations we received for our anniversary trip to Mexico, Playa Del Carmen. The Hilton Playa Del Carmen is a super dated and basic adults only all inclusive. We were encouraged to book here as the agent who recommended it to us said that it was amazing but to our surprise it’s actually a tourist trap the moment we arrived we were told to book our “hotel sales pitch meetings” where they try to sell us buying into the Playa collection vacation packages with the pushy agents even though we had clearly stated that we were here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We were expecting a hotel full of liveliness, lots of fun activities and amenities that are accessible to all however, instead we were met with restrictions, tier differences between guests and lack of accessibility towards the amenities of the hotel. The food at the hotel also tasted basic not authentic at all it’s like everything served is whitewashed no spice or flavor which is shocking since Mexican cuisine is one of the best one out there. The crowd of the hotel is between the ages of 40 and 65, which was a huge damper on our experience. The cabanas by the pool all cost 109$ USD per day which is completely ridiculous and overpriced the last thing I want to do at an all inclusive is to pay more money for basic amenities such as a cabana especially when we already booked an ocean view room for more $ I’m surprised this was CAA’s Hotel recommendation for a new newlywed couple. Sadly I definitely would not recommend them for anyone looking for that wow factor vacation find

Negative experience: Terrible service. Cold office,Short staffed, wouldn’t give me discount even though I have an account(card) wife card, for our daughter’s passport. For years and years we only have one card never had issues. No way I’m paying for 2 cards Separately when we live together. I can see if I’m booking a trip I need her in person but it’s our daughter’s passport picture!

Negative experience: This review is specifically for CAA insurance, not the store. The people at the store that tried to help me were amazing but CAA car insurance is horrible!! I was with them for 3 years. I have never made a claim and have no tickets. I did what I though was the right thing and informed them that I had my vehicle wrapped, just plain colored wrap. When I called to let them know they said I had 2 weeks to find a new insurance. The refused to cover my vehicle because it was wrapped. I told them I didn’t want the wrap covered, they still said no. They told me if it was clear it would be fine. If I had it painted it would be fine. But if I wanted to stay on their insurance I would have to remove the wrap. Even the ombudsman was no help. If I could give zero stars I would.

Negative experience: Consistently understaffed. Do not bother going unless you have an hour to spend in line with two representatives who act like they are doing you a favour. Many other options where they invest in proper staffing levels.

Negative experience: What a joke of a company! Don't make themselves available to brokers to escalate issues, say they will escalate claims when outstanding and don't! Made a claim July 28th, 2023, sent email with details, sent estimates, sent photos of the issue - they never sent an adjuster (said my case did not need one), after 100's of phone calls (literally, only 20 noted on file) and 3 "escalations" (only 1 on file) call me November 6th to call back (sales phone number advised not claims) and message asked me to clarify my claim.....? Meanwhile at the end of September they advised waiting for their other department to review the claim and advise. Just spoke to an escalations manager admits complete fault, yet still doesn't have answers or my claim from adjuster from whom he should have received by now because last escalation was October 13th. -1,000,000 should be an available rating STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Was here for IDP. I straightaway went to the Travel section which is on the left side corner. The lady sitting there directed me towards the membership section. Over there I was helped by another member of the staff. She made the entire experience really smooth. I just had to walk in with my driver’s license and the rest was taken care of. Photocopies + Passport size pictures. Overall cost was $52 (including pictures + IDP fees) At no point I felt rushed. Even for membership I was given option and informed that I do not need to be a member to avail any service. However I did notice that most of the merchandise and services present at the store have a good discount for members. I would definitely consider that. Overall experience- 5/5 Overall time inside the store for IDP - less than 5 mins (including pictures )

Fantastic experience: I signed on with the CAA at this location several months ago. Last week I needed to transfer my insurance to a new vehicle that I was to be picking up at 12 noon on the Tuesday. My auto insurance agent Marzena Sobilo was very prompt and efficiently arranged for the transfer. All I had to do was show up at the dealership and pick up my new keys. Marzena is a lovely lady, knowledgeable in what she does and very pleasant to work with.

Negative experience: I want to explain. THIS RATING IS NOT FOR THE ACTUAL STORE (for any kind of Traveling purposes). It was for "Auto insurance quotes" which I was directed to "MIB". Multiple Insurance Brokers. So the rating is for them. If you want the absolute HIGHEST quote then contact MIB !!! AGAIN THIS IS NOT FOR CAA...ITS FOR MIB!! Don't waste your time!!!
Positive experience: Very nicely appointed store and friendly, efficient staff. We went to this location to purchase International Driver's Permits and had no problems getting them issued in person. It was very busy the day we went, but staff moved quickly to get through the line of people.

Fantastic experience: I called looking for a car insurance quote ( rec by a friend) and first of all I waited very little on the phone and then had amazing service from 3 different CSR’s. I did have to call back a few times because I needed to find information. All 3 Just picked up where the other left off. AND I received a much more reasonable quote than my previous car insurance provider. I did not know CAA provided car insurance until this past week. Thank you!

Negative experience: Scammers, they increased the price of my policy after one week of getting my new policy. They cancelled my policy without contacting me and they asked for double the price to get my policy again. Zero customer service. Be aware and don’t deal with CAA. They shouldn’t be in the market.

Negative experience: I was unable to talk to a real person. A CAA truck servicing a vehicle at 403 Beechwood blocked my recycling buckets. The recycling truck drove right by. My pictures record the blockage.

Fantastic experience: If you ever have any car issues call CAA I locked my keys in my car called a diffrent company and they tried to charge me $380 . That wasn't happening called CAA had amazing friendly service they were there in 20 minutes an 80 yealy membership and my car is unlocked . Thank you CAA
Negative experience: Wanted travel info and you had to call for an appointment. Went home called leaving a message over a week ago and they haven't returned my call yet.
Negative experience: Went to speak with someone regarding travel and we’re notified when we arrived that appointments are required. It says nothing about this on their website. There was no one in the store and the gentleman working refused to help us. Also drove 45 mins to the only open location within an hour of us. Very frustrating.
Negative experience: We were surprised with additional details and costs at the time of purchase. All of that information should have been disclosed during our initial appointment. Very disappointed!
Negative experience: I have to say this is the first time I have been ghosted by an travel agent. Not sure if the strike had an effect and she quit? I hope that was the case. I was lucky enough to get the invoice and track my plane tickets and have my tour guides send me the rest... This will be my last transaction with CAA travel.

Positive experience: Another great service from CAA today. My family have been members for over two decades. A major bonus is that when Canadians travel to the US (we all hope it will be soon) we enjoy coverage with the AAA as well! This time the battery died in the cold temperature. The service was quick, polite, very professional. He changed out the battery and was in n out within 15 minutes! Also got to give the great call centre assistance. I know , I know. Who ever has a good experience (overall). The people I dealt with very supportive and helpful. However, this is where CAA loses a star. The automated answering system is time consuming, annoying and extremely frustrating. Especially when you’re in a jam; you want a human voice. Improve on this and you get the star back.

Trying to sign up to the my Pace insurance program, 7 phone calls and over 4 hours later I'm told I need to fill out a paper application and send it to home office to be considered for enrollment. I might be paying a bit more for traditional insurance now but it's worth it to not have to put up with these guys again.
Negative experience: Most unpleasant experience I have ever had to simply get auto and home insurance. Not an example on successful business plan.
Negative experience: On the phone with them for over 1 h. Told me I need some paper work to get insurance, which will take weeks. I am scared to have insurance with them since if something happened, it would be very hard to reach them. Not recommended.
Negative experience: Nobody picks up the phone. Been trying for two weeks.
Negative experience: If their prices seem too good to be true, there's a reason. They don't pay out on claims. They gave me the COVID discount and now won't pay my claim. Avoid at all costs!
