Fantastic experience: My first CAA store experience and they are opened on a Saturday fairly busy. They are busy due to many customers taking Passport photos other than that, they had 3 employees and they are fast, efficient very knowledgeable, will definitely be back. The one in brampton does not open on Saturdays and store hours are inconvenient.

Negative experience: CAA sucks as an insurance company. Got hit by a vehicle and because they are the same provider, they did everything they can to not have to payout. Denied my claim and literally took 5 months while still sucking my money on a car that sat in the shop for almost half a year. They give you cheap rates to sucker in but once you need to make a claim, it is over. Should have listened to people that warned me about the pain in making claims with them

Fantastic experience: Came for international driving permit as a non-member. Staff were pleasant and friendly! With photos taken on the spot, all came to a little above $50, everything done in less than 10 minutes. There was no line when I arrived early afternoon on a weekday, but a small line (5-6 people) had formed when I was done.

Fantastic experience: This CAA office is one of the few that can issue an international drivers permit. In and out in 30 minutes with my permit, ready for travel. The store sells a lot of nice high quality accessories too.

Fantastic experience: So impressed with this location. I showed up minutes from closing needing an IDP for an upcoming trip (I misread the closing time as 6pm instead of 5pm, my fault) and was ready to leave, but Leanne said she could make it work and managed to prepare my documents, take my photo, and assemble the package within minutes. They had every right to turn me away but chose to give me the pass even when I didn’t ask for it, and saved me the time of having to come back tomorrow over my own mistake. It was a major act of customer service, and the entire time I watched the other 2-3 staff coordinate with each other and Leanne to closeout the store and it was an extremely impressive operation watching them quickly communicate with each other while maintaining full composure. The staff here very experienced and skilled, and I’d feel confident to come back in need of any auto help.

Negative experience: One star is a compliment. This CAA store should be enthused and thankful to all forms of review that they can’t be given lower ratings. The amount of frustration due to the incompetence of this location is deplorable. I’ve never witnessed such negligence of operation from a company which operates in their scale. I am so thankful I do not pay membership or subscribe to their roadside assistance, and hope to any members of their programs they do not operate their roadside assistance in the same manner they operate this store. The store promotes they offer certain services yet do not have employees who are capable of providing such services, they tell customers to go elsewhere for items required for their services and come back to still not receive said services required. CAA as a corporation, assuming their care for customers is greater than at the store level, should be ashamed of allowing their name and brand to be tarnished by the level of disrespect and neglectfulness shown at this store. Avoid this location at all costs if you value your time and sanity

Negative experience: Long wait times. Only 2 customer service agents working at 2:30pm on a long weekend. 11 people in line

Negative experience: First time visiting this location and dealing with CAA in an actual face-to-face office, previously I’ve dealt with tow truck drivers which were always polite and courteous. Walking in the nice offices. A young man sitting at the first counter on the right, didn’t tell me that I have to pay for personal photos or i have the option of bringing my own to get the IDP, that is until I asked him why should I pay $53 whereas the website mentions $31, I told him that he should’ve brought it to my attention at the beginning of our interaction, he started arguing with me that I should’ve known that, and blah blah blah!, with a very rude manner … I didn’t want to continue arguing with him because I realized he has some real challenges and definitely suffers from social communication disorder. The first letter in CAA stands for “Canadian” , but unfortunately there was nothing canadian about this young guy’s customer service skills. I felt very discriminated against, I also feel very sorry for him because if he continues treating customers like this, I’m afraid that one day someone with less patience than me, will punch him in the face.

Negative experience: I felt discriminated against today by Emilio M. When I walked in with my husband and newborn baby - I felt unwelcome by the very hostile attitude and considering to cancel my Caa membership and home and auto insurance (not only due to this interaction but terrible service I have been receiving on an ongoing basis, this interaction was the last straw). Emilio needs to learn how to welcome clients and learn how to be respectful. If he cannot provide friendly service maybe he should not work in customer service. Not only did he treat us like animals (animals might have been welcomed better) but I did not feel comfortable with the dirty looks after. And as someone who is visibly Muslim, I felt like this might have been a racist behaviour. Store visit Oct 24 2023 at 2:25 pm

Fantastic experience: I've got to give the staff here credit for managing to get a compliant passport photo of my infant today (not an easy task!) Despite not being set up to do newborn photos they all worked together to make it work. At one point we had 4 staff members assisting with important tasks like blanket draping (to hide mom's hands holding baby), clapping / cheering for attention, helping hold up baby, and taking the actual photo. They are everyday heroes and we thank them.

Positive experience: It’s $52.54 if you get an IDP ($30) with a photo ($20) from them. It’s a booklet, slightly bigger than a passport. Pretty inconvenient to have to carry it whenever you want to drive. Not sure if $20 is standard for the photo to be taken.

Fantastic experience: I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews. This seems to be people who are just angry and impatient. Ya there might be a line but this is how it works. I found the staff to be very friendly and informative even though they were so busy and understaffed which isn’t their fault. I was in and out within an hour getting my free passport photos since I’m a CAA member.

Negative experience: Went yesterday for passport photo on July 10th for me and my wife they printed out with a dark complexion I told the associate she said we can't make it better this is all we can do. I said to her that my complexion is fair why you printed out so dark she had no answer other than if you are not satisfied we can return your money back. Completely waste of time and money not recommend to anyone to go for passport photo.

The place was obviously bustling with closing preparation but somebody immediately offered to help me and processed my IDP in literally 5 minutes. I already had my photos and a CAA membership, which sped things up. But for anyone else looking an IDP, they do the photos, too. Impressive service!

Positive experience: Same as other comments, walked in on Saturday May 27 for an IDL. It was very busy. The 4 stars goes to CAA as I think they should have more people.. but I will give 5 stars to one of their workers, Ana Maria, she is amazing at customer service, walking the line, going to each customer to ask how could she help, great attitude... if i had a hotel she would be my front desk manager.

Went to get an international driver's permit and, the person who served me was, super efficient and professional. I was there early in the morning and, the store was busy already but, I did not have to wait. I was in and out with my international driver's permit within 10 minutes. Excellent service, would highly recommend this CAA store.

Negative experience: Rude woman on phone at travel agency..will not give appts beyond 3pm and they are booked way in advance..did not return my phone call for 48 hours. We have been a customer for 4 decades, including being a CAA member, and this has never happened before. Horrible service.

Fantastic experience: Went to the store to get an International Drivers Permit for my trip to Japan. It says 3 weeks on their website for it to be mailed to you so I was a little nervous getting it in time, but I was happily surprised when the person helping me made the permit for me instantly. Got my picture taken and had the permit in hand in less than 20min.

Fantastic experience: Walked in on a Saturday morning and had our international drivers licenses in less than 15 minutes! Jemie assisted us and was absolutely brilliant! Had photos taken on site so didn't have to fill in anything or bring anything other than our Canadian licenses and bank card. 10/10 would recommend
