Positive experience: Helpful staff

Negative experience: I have been a member for many years. Paid my annual fees, for service that honestly is not what you would and should expect from a service company that is focused on emergencies and serving clients who pay for service. After being left for hours near Hanover last winter waiting for a tow that never came, today we needed a map. Owen Sound, on a Friday, and it's a long weekend, closes at 2 pm? What? This is the service I get for 200 bucks a year? Man I really need to look elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: Quick service and great member benefits.

Negative experience: Caa in Owen Sound is a waste of time.We went to the office and asked to speak to The travel agent there. We were told to call and make an appt.So we did. Left my name and phone # and they never called us. Tonight I called for roadside assistance and even thou I've beena customer for years, They refused to tow my car because I had just bought it. So I cancelled my Caa and am done with them. Never again will I waste anytime with them. I'm done.

Positive experience: Was there to deal with insurance and felt my business was not important to them. Won’t use this office again.

Negative experience: They rarely answer calls as they are always under staffed, one has to drive in to make changes or modifications to their plans

Fantastic experience: Wow , this place is excellent, a friendly helpful experience. I got a passport photo free with my membership and purchased an item at an excellent member price. The representative helping me was very friendly and answered all my questions! I would recommend visiting this particular location if you are a member or would like to become a member.

Positive experience: Tried going in 4 times but they were either not open or no one could help. They are very nice but make sure to call ahead if you can get thru to avoid the trip, especially if you don't live in Owen Sound. Only open until 1:30. If you need to book something in person you may need to look elsewhere unfortunately.

Negative experience: Only open 4 hrs a day mon to fri. Always a lineup of people waiting. Say they are short staffed but only work 4 hrs a day.

Negative experience: Staff spend more time answering here than they ever answer the phonel ANSWER THE PHONE. GROW UP.

Negative experience: Yeah nowhere on the internet does it say it closes for lunch. Don’t come between 12:20 and 1:20.

Fantastic experience: Great Experiance with staff here as we purchased our European drivers permits yesterday. Knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Lots of good things to buy as well here.

Negative experience: I call more than 15 times to get info but they did not reply at all. Yesterday i went physically to be present there and told they were busy. I did not get it and i am not going to recomend CAA owen sound at all. Bye.

Negative experience: A friend of ours in Owen Sound had a dead battery and when the CAA driver got there he told her that the battery service/ testing and replacing was not offered in this area only towing or boasting.

Negative experience: Last Monday my husband and I were in Owen Sound to get the keys to our new home, in the chaos and excitement my husband accidentally locked our keys in the car, with our dog inside. Windows up, full sun and 30+ degree weather. I called CAA and was informed that it would be 60 minutes at least for a response. I reiterated that the dog was in the car 5 minutes already and having difficulty, the young man on the phone said if it were a baby it would be a priority. I was SHOCKED and angry, no empathy, no reassuring words. I pay for the top end membership and have for years... I will be rethinking that come renewal time. The people at Home Depot came to our rescue and helped us through a tiny crack in the window get our dog to safety... we are forever grateful to them.
