Negative experience: Simply wanted an international drivers license. No other customers in store. Been waiting more than 15 minutes and still no one has attended. Meantime employees are sitting there without seeing anyone. Make sure you have time if you go here because you’re not a customer, you are a nuisance.

Positive experience: Phone assistance atrocious!! Waited 15 min to get a person…then was transferred to another line which DID NOT PICK UP! All I wanted was to renew my membership. Going through hoops like this is unexceptable.

Negative experience: Terrible service. They don't even answer the phone. Still waiting for a call back and it's been 3 days. In the past, when in the store the employees are rude and not helpful at all.

Negative experience: Got the job done. Fast and efficient. I just didnt like the lack of friendliness by the staff that assisted us. Brandi, although efficient, was borderline rude. Almost tossing my license back to me. Same with the pen, the photo she took, and the form I filled out. I get it, she might be having a bad day, having a personal problem, I dont know. But as a first time customer I am not impressed. My wife and I were shaking our heads on the way out. You have to stay professional at work.

I was worried about getting it all done online and over the phone, or getting it done on time and Annamaria was exceptionally helpful and fast getting it all worked out for us! Negative experience: I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at the CAA Manitoba-Kildonan Place location. As a long-time member, I expected a professional and respectful atmosphere, but what I encountered was quite the opposite. During my visit on July 17, 2024, I was laughed at by two employees when I disclosed my name as was required of me. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. I have never felt so disrespected in a place of business before. A name is an integral part of one's identity, and to have it mocked in such a manner is entirely unacceptable. I believe in the importance of diversity and inclusion, and it is disheartening to see such behavior in a reputable organization like CAA. I hope that the management takes this incident seriously and implements necessary measures to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through such an upsetting experience at this location.

Negative experience: Drove into town from north of the city arriving half hr before closing to look at booking a travel vacation. On line says "we encourage you to book an appointment on line" I tried and could do it on line. Reception said she had no one and would check but instead, iqnored me and took a customer that just walked. I have been CAA customer for years but not sure how many more of ANY. If you don't take travel vacations at the store why not post it boldly, and not say, "we encourage". I offered to wait but told they close in half an hour. Sorry for the rant but got the impression I was bothering her and should just go away.

Negative experience: No stars deserved. I had to resort to making claim with BBB. Representative made reservations at wrong hotel at opposite end of Miami and ruined my vacation. They would not even consider a resolve and Supervisor Linda was very rude. Blaming the customer.

Negative experience: Not impressed. I hope you have time for my story. On Monday, April 1st. My cars engine died. While driving and I was able to drive it to the nearest mechanic, who condemned it shortly after. While the mechanic was looking at it, I signed up for CAA. They have a 48 hour waiting period, unless you want to pay an extra $100. Nonetheless, I signed up at 2:18pm that day. Luckily for me, the mechanic said I can keep it there for 2 days. Wednesday rolls around, I call CAA at 1pm, and the 1st lady tells me I need to call after 2:19pm. Fine. I called againat 2:45pm and the first lady let's me know she's sent out a tow truck and it'll arrive in 45 minutes. Okay, I can wait that long. After an hour and a half, I call again, the tow truck hasn't arrived and I'm curious where it is. Turns out, the 2nd lady NEVER actually issued the work order. Even cooler. The 3rd lady lefts me know the tow truck is actually 10 minutes away. Sweet. It was rush hour -at this time- so the guy takes a bit longer to get there. Coolest. Overall, I spent 5.5 hours waiting for a tow truck. 1/5.

Negative experience: Not impressed, I drove in from outside the city to get a picture taken at CAA on regent which should have been a simple task. When I got there I waited in line behind a lady being dealt with at the first desk right when you walk in. The desk had a “reception” tag on it so I figured that’s where I should wait. While waiting for the customer to finish I then walked over to another desk where a worker was that had no customer, she didn’t even look at me so I went back and stood in the line where I was in before. After about 15 mins the lady left so I walked up to the desk but the worker then called over a family off to the side that came in after I was already there waiting (I watched them walk in). They then went right in front of me even though I was already standing there, no one said a single word to me like if was in standing in the wrong place or anything. Then I heard they were also there for passport photos so no idea how they got in front of me. I don’t know if I was suppose to take a number or what I missed since no one had said a single word to me the entire time I was there. If there was a specific desk out of all the scattered ones I was suppose to go to maybe it should be labelled. I was so angry I had to walk out. I’ve been a CAA plus member since 2010 but this experience might be enough for that to end since I rarely use it. Calling CAA for service has never been an issue and have always been happy but something is seriously wrong with this storefront and needs to be dealt with. I will be trying another location in the future hoping it’s not such a disappointment. * I did a follow up to the email that was given to me below in the response by the owner of the store and never got anything back. They really don’t care about the customers*

Fantastic experience: We came here to get our passport photos done. It went absolutely fine for 3 of us, and then my 4 year old started to get scared and refused to take the photo due to the flash. My kid was crying and super scared, and we couldn't calm them down. The lady taking the photo was super patient, and doing her best to help us. Luckily, one of the other ladies that worked there came by and really helped us calm my kid and helped us finally get their passport photo. A++++ experience just for that alone. They could easily have just ignored the situation, and as a business not cared if we got the photo or not, but they all stepped up and really helped us get the photo. Thanks again to everyone that worked that day.

Negative experience: Went there to inquire about trip cancellation insurance. Got there about 4:25pm when they closed at 5pm. Filled out the required paperwork and waited for service. It seems that a lot of their employees go home an hour before leaving a skeleton staff from 4pm to 5pm. Waited the 35 minutes only to be told they wouldn't be able to help me today. You need to adjust your staffing to improve service or allow the people who come in 30 minutes before to be served before employees go home. My question would have literally taken 2 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff, lots of travel stuff for all levels of travel. Luggage, outdoor, hiking, etc. Good place to start if you're looking for some gadget or a map of most anywhere (their free, maps, to CAA members)

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank CAA. I had my mom's car towed to my house, but I could not be by the car like they requested. They made an exception and moved her car. Thank you for caring.

Negative experience: I switched to CAA home insurance after my coworker suggested it to me. CAA always used to be large company with reputable name in my mind, however, recent personal experience showed opposite. Before my annual renewal my premiums have been increased without letting me know and I was automatically rolled over into new year without any options. My “senior” insurance broker Leah Mell from Winnipeg does not reply to my emails and my questions are left disregarded,- not sure if it’s company standards or “senior” level of customer service. I feel like my my business is their last priority. The bottom line is I do not recommend CAA due to their below average level of customer service. Solid two stars out of five.

Negative experience: Really bad service, Never come on time to tow your VEH and then they leave your vehicle anywhere in the street instead of your given address.
Fantastic experience: Looking to update a membership and you want the fast lane on getting it done, checking off another item on your "list of to-do's".... this is the place to call I the KP Mall on Regent. Bold front lit sign makes it outstanding facing the Regent Strip, if you want to throttle into the Office, or use the super-fast phone service for a no-nonsense approach and put it on your credit card and it's done. Remember, first day of renewal your towing is only 10Kms, next day it's 100kms on CAA service calls.
Fantastic experience: Great location & edition to Kildonan Place Shopping Centre. Located at the east end of the mall in the old Target location with an entrance independent of the mall. It is night a retail & services location. Services offered include auto, travel and home insurance services, in addition to the retail aspect. This location is very decent sized, modern and clean along with friendly staff. Highly recommend to others

Negative experience: Member for maybe 1 month; totally unimpressed so far, unless you like receiving junk emails. Should have been aware of incompetent service when trying to sign up; got mailer w/Winnipeg contact number. Gave promo number to sign up, said wasn't valid. Finally found out connected to Ontario call center (never identified). Promo number wouldn't allow auto entry so had to do all manually; emails rec'd later were all from Southern Ontario (totally irrelevant to MB); after many like this, replied to 1 saying tired of spam & probably just unsubscribe; now receive from MB. Called local outlet today to see if retail item in store; totally incoherent reply. AGAIN MB number connected to Ontario call center... unsure now if worthwhile continuing membership... hate to think what might might happen if ever actually need to use their services.

Fantastic experience: Was purchasing house insurance for a new home And they were hundreds of dollars cheaper Then rival ". Being a member has its privileges. Scott the adjuster was very comprehensive and knowledgeable as they went through the package with us. Highly recommend
Fantastic experience: Tow truck driver Ron, from Auto Rescue Towing, did a great job bailing me out when I was locked out of my car & stranded, stuck in the snow with the engine running. Thanks! He was earlier than the eta I was given over the phone & I wasn’t even late for my first work appointment!
Negative experience: Went in to buy tenant's insurance after receiving a quote online. Thought it would be quick, was there for 1h and 15 min, most inefficient process ever!

Negative experience: I have had a 44 year relationship with CAA MB and have never encountered such a rude customer service rep as we did this morning at the Kildonan place location. Hopefully this was just Bonnie P having a bad day and not a regular occurrence. Would have given 0 stars if that was possible.
Negative experience: Not impressed with this location, staff isn't friendly at all. I had much better service at location on Empress. Went in today to ask a few questions about travelling and was more or less told to bad we close in 20 mins. This location is outside front of Kildonan Place so my thought was they probably follow Mall Hours. I thought wrong. On a Saturday after people work all week would probably be a good time to get Travel information. So disappointed that I pay for CAA Premier membership and I walk in staff doesn't even ask if you are a member or offer any travel brochures. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
