Fantastic experience: My husband and I are currently at a resort in Costa Mujeres Mexico. Latisha Ruteck recommended this resort to us. She was amazing in helping us with a smooth and pleasurable process in planning our trip! Latisha, we are having so much fun! Thank you! We will be booking more trips with the future!

Negative experience: The staff are no help. They basically didn’t even let us know that the ticket was with multiple stops until about the very end. The prices are not that far off however. They are not professionals at all. They behaviour is very rude.

Negative experience: DONT BOOK WITH LATISHA!!! We tried to book a cruise for our family of 9 with Latisha. We needed 5 state rooms. I asked her to confirm the booking for us on a Thursday evening. I didn’t want the price to increase. I was very clear that she needed to do the confirmation promptly. I asked if she would need a deposit to secure the price and she said, no. She was going to hold it for us right away until we could come pay for it the following evening. Needless to say she didn’t do it! She didn’t do her job. Friday morning Latisha emailed us saying the cost had gone up 1700$ per state room when she tried to book it the following day. Significant price difference for our family. I believe she did this on purpose! She just couldn’t be bothered! When we went in to speak to her about the situation she was unapologetic and cavalier about it. Clearly , not her problem!! She did NOT care. She would take no responsibility for her mistake.and was rude and dismissive.

Negative experience: I have never been treated with more problems booking with Flight Center this year. The agent lied through their teeth to cover how badly the travel plans were made. I have been a loyal customer for a lot of years with no problems and then came this year experience. I'm definitely going to find another more experienced travel agency to book with next year or just do it myself.

Fantastic experience: Just booked our first family break to Mexico and didn't really know where to look or what to do so reached out to flight center and got a response so quickly from siobhan. Gave her a few things that we were looking for and she found some amazing packages in different places for us to look through. We narrowed it down and I changed my mind and asked for a lot of different dates changes to find what was right for us, and she was absolutely great the whole time and super patient with me. The whole process has been so smooth and easy and we haven't had to figure out booking a million different things because she's done it all for us. Absolutely brilliant and totally recommend. Fantastic experience: Booking with a travel agency is a no Brainer for us. From the start Kelly was very helpful with choosing an all inclusive location. From ensuring we knew all the potential drawbacks of the locations to ensuring we got the best bang for our buck, she was awesome. While on vacation we had issues with our return flights and Chelsea took care of everything and dealt with the air line directly. What an awesome experience knowing you are dealing with real people not just a call centre. Thank you Kelly, Chelsea, and Flight Centre Coq. For the fantastic customer service.

Negative experience: We walked in and immediately had the feeling the travel agent wasn't interested in talking to us. She confirmed that she had nothing to offer us other than what you can find online - so I don't know why I would ever return to a store? I thought an agent would be helpful as we were excited to book through the store but she didn't seem to want our service, or to offer us any help.

Fantastic experience: Had a very memorable experience dealing with the Coquitlam branch of Flight Centre. I dealt with a lady named Latisha, who was very professional, mature, and informed on traveling to the country I was planning to vacation in.

Fantastic experience: Often times you'd have agents see you as nothing but a number, but here I felt ease of mind to go on a trip. Amazing customer service with our booking and can't be happier with our trip. Latisha went above and beyond to take care of our booking and provide a seamless experience. All my questions were answered and she was even kind enough to make recommendations of activities or things that would be worth it. Ask for Latisha when you're there, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Siobhan in the Coquitlam Centre mall was fantastic to work with. My flight routes were a bit more complicated than the usual return flights. She spent so much time to find me the best option at the best price. I never felt she was rushing me to make a decision. She was a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic experience: This flight centre has amazing service. As a regular customer for Flight Centre Canada. My 2 other personal travel agents were away for the Thanksgiving holidays. I’m currently in Thailand and needed to change my flight, that is supposed to leave in 24 hrs. I tried calling the 24hr emergency line but I kept getting put on hold. So i decided to call a different Flight Centre to see if they could help me. “ Brett “ answered and within 30 mins my flight was changed. He saved me so much time , stress and money. I’m really grateful. As clieht that is a 1 million mile member . Who flys to Asia every 10 days . How fast he was able to help me. Especially when my flight was booked through a different flight centre. Thanks again Andy Bhatti

Fantastic experience: Siobhan was awesome! I needed to book a long haul flight - could have crossed the globe either way. She very patiently put up with my indecision over a couple of days and then she successfully booked the exact flight I wanted - which I did not know existed. She was very thorough, giving me several options, finding out about specific seat selection, etc. Hopefully we can book something together again!

Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews, but after booking my flights last week, I felt compelled to share my experience. I came in to arrange flights for a study abroad program with Siobhan, and she was exceptional. She was, without a doubt, the most helpful consultant my mom and I have ever encountered. Siobhan was attentive, patient, friendly, professional, and incredibly informative. She not only listened to all our requests (and we had quite a few) but also followed through on every detail. I highly recommend booking with her—you won’t be disappointed!

Negative experience: The most unprofessional staff I've ever seen. They ruined our trip. They made few mistakes that me and my family walk around at 8pm looking for the car rental out of the airport, the place was closed for the rent. So we took Uber to the hotel, I do not recommend this place to anyone never ever.

Negative experience: Had an unpleasant experience dealing with Linda Nankov. I wanted to help my mom book a hotel in Paris for my parent's 50th anniversary next month. Went into flight centre hoping for some recommendations from an agent who has been to Paris before. Linda said she had been to Paris several times but was passive and standoffish when I asked if she could recommend a place to stay while there, or even the best areas to stay as a first time traveler to Paris, as there are so many districts there and is quite overwhelming to find a hotel to book. Instead she pulled up a search and just suggested the first hotel that came up, something that I could have easily done on my own time. I then proceeded to tell my mom that we should just go home and spend a few hours looking for hotels and read all the reviews etc, cause there's so many to choose from. Linda then abruptly cut me off and said "oh so you're just here to get free information then." In other words, wasting her time. My mom and I were taken aback by her distasteful and rude approach. Agents should be there to provide you with a pleasant customer service experience and help take some of the stress away that comes with booking a vacation/hotel etc. We left feeling brushed off and more overwhelmed than we did going in. We got better service from our home computer than we did from her. If I could give zero stars I would. A complete waste of our time going in there.

She had helped me book two incredible trips to Germany and assisted my parents in planning their dream vacation to Italy. Her attention to detail, knowledge of destinations, and dedication to finding the best deals were exceptional. Linda made the entire booking process seamless and stress-free. Negative experience: Make sure you check all information. 3 mistakes on: Birthday, address, and NAMES to the flight provider. This mistake cost us an extra 180$ due to checking in last, and we wont be seated together. Great way to start a vacation.

Fantastic experience: My parents planned a big long trip to multiple countries, including Israel, and luckily, they used Katrina as their travel agent! Long story short, they had to alter their flights and hotels while they were in Türkiye, when they were no longer able to fly into Tel Aviv, and Katrina was on top of it, and was able to let us know what was refundable, what wasn’t, and what our rescheduling options were. We were able to alter their upcoming plans while they were traveling, thanks to Katrina, and it took a lot of the stress off everyone! Highly recommend, especially for complicated trips!!

Fantastic experience: We always use a travel agent, and these folks have always been so helpful. They have managed sudden changes and emergent issues promptly and well. Highly recommended

Negative experience: I considered leaving a one star review, but gave an extra star for the initial service provided. I used Flight Centre's services to avoid seating issues and requested preferred seating. On my return long haul flight, I was assigned middle seating despite have a ticket with assigned window seating. The airline refused to move me as I could not provide a receipt (Flight Centre never provided me with one). Upon my return, I followed up with the Agent to understand what went wrong. I did not receive a timely response and followed up again where the Agent said a simple sorry and here is an email to complain directly to the Airline and did not answer any of my other questions. I did not receive any response from the Airline either. I sent another email to my Agent at Flight Centre asking him again, what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. I have not heard from him again. What is the point of using a Travel Agent when this is what you get. I won't be using one again after this experience. Flight Centre are very helpful until they receive your money and their OTA commissions from their booking partners. After that, they couldn't give two hoots about you any more. The entire travel industry is a greedy disgrace post pandemic. Don't bother with these folks and save yourself the $$.

Positive experience: The overall experience was good and everyone was very helpful. The agent who sold us the tickets seemed to be new to the position but it didn't disappoint. The only detail that annoyed me a little bit was the comment on my long family name multiple times. Other than that all went well.

Negative experience: customer service sucks. no communication between the team. called 3+times to cancel a flight spoke with rep was given directions which I followed and apparently it wasn't canceled . now a week passed by still waiting for a simple letter of confirmation. however one thing is consistent is emails with" out of the office"

Linda went out of her way to find everything tnat we needed. We are in our 80s, and she spent extra time with us to make our trip memorable. Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE This is not a review about this location in particular but a review of Flight Center as a whole... I booked my flight on Sunday and I immediately noticed I got the dates wrong. So I called the help line- the help line is closed on the weekends. I called a few numbers and they were all closed. I thought I should contact them right away to make the change and I found their 24/7 emergency line. Their emergency line said to only call if you are leaving within 48hours. Which I was not so I figured I'd call them straight away the next day. I called the next day and the man I spoke to said I should have called the emergency line as my situation would have been considered an emergency. He said he could change the flight - it was 200 dollars cheaper to fly on the proper days. I asked for the difference back and he said that would have only been able to happen if I called the same day. Even though I did call the same day and they were closed- he said I should have called the emergency line. He said he would look into the matter and get back to me the next day. He did not get back to me the next day so I emailed the info line since I did not have a way of contacting him. I got an automatic replying saying if I'm looking for a refund to call the emergency line. I called the emergency line and the person on the other side said they wouldn't be able to help me and they said even if I called the same day like the other man said- they wouldn't have been able to help me anyways. Anyways lesson learned- NEVER AGAIN will I book with flight center. Conflicting information and terrible support.

Negative experience: I am out $7000 because they told me they would book my tickets (using flight vouchers) but waited until months after the vouchers had expired, and now say it’s too bad, but would like me to pay another $5000 for the tickets. Absolutely the worst, not trustworthy, do not use!!!!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service and friendly staff. My wife and I have been attempting to book our honeymoon for the past three years as COVID-19 has run its course through Canada. Brett Siborne who was originally at the Abbotsford location in the beginning of our planning in 2019, has been EXTREMELY patient and accommodating to multiple postponements, and changes to our travel plans and has helped immensely with our choice and confidence in travel destination with his great travel experience and straight forward attitude! Highly recommend speaking with Brett for your travel needs!

She brought her insight as a traveler to my travel plans, was helpful with my questions, and on several times emailed me well outside of regular office hours to get the job done. You will get excellent customer service if you deal with this agency and in particular Linda Nankov.

Negative experience: No stars !!! They never returned any of my emails or phone calls, understand it is a busy time and can be short staffed, but even to say we can respond in 3 to 5 business days, no nothing, used to use FC all time for vacation and travel . NOT any more....

Positive experience: They have maintained their being courteous and accommodating. However, unless you're travelling as a huge group - class reunions, conferences etc, one no longer requires the services of a travel agent. Most agents would tell us to call the airline or hotel directly as the wait times are all the same. This is the same when one wishes to inquire about special deals. Just nix the middle man and do it yourself.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with Heather Smith at Coquitlam Flight Centre. I had a difficult issue related to a third party vacation package that was cancelled in the early days of the pandemic. Heather called me back right away and provided exceptional service. She listened to my questions and responded with a very fair resolution to my issue. I almost never write reviews like this, but when someone goes above and beyond like Heather did, they deserve recognition. Flight Centre Coquitlam is doing a great job of navigating the Covid crisis in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Brett had answers for our questions. He was always readily available. When we had to make changes, then more changes, then more changes, he was always helpful at every step. Today, we finally bought the tickets and Brett was there every step of the way with us. When travel returns to normal in the future, I am definitely reaching out to him again to help with some awesome cruise ship adventures. Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of having Linda Nankov for our travel agent during the pandemic. We're almost at a loss for words to describe just how helpful and accommodating Linda was. With the increased restrictions imposed by the Canadian government, the lockdowns, quarantines, etc. we lost track of how many times our flights were either cancelled, changed or postponed. Linda was always there for us, giving us our best options and not being satisfied until we were satisfied, and always cheerful and incredibly helpful and friendly. By far the best service we've ever experienced from a travel agent, or any other service provider for that matter. She made the entire "return to Canada" experience bearable. Negative experience: I would give zero stars if possible. Paid $3k+ for tickets over a year ago with all the proper insurance. Flight got cancelled from covid. Was promised money back almost a year ago we call and email flight Centre every month and get the run around, the original manager at the store actually cussed us out over the phone when we called to get an update (Carley) Its obvious by now almost a year later they wont be returning our money. We'll never do another deal with Flight Centre again.
