Negative experience: Worst company ever I been calling them all day and no answer so because they have to pay to fix my car this women named Monique barker is the worst she acts like it’s her money that’s paying to fix my car on top of that I call her all day she doesn’t answer so I keep calling she turns her phone off I’m the beginning she gave the most attitude for no reason I would not recommend this company at all!!!!!

Negative experience: Waited over 1.5 hrs to speak to agent - they make it very difficult to cancel their services. And no, you can’t do it online.

Negative experience: The absolute worst insurance/tow company, please just pay Billybob down the road a 24 pack instead. Hung up on me today to get a car towed and had 2 drivers deny me service 2 months ago because they couldn’t park in a driveway as I have street parking, so I had to limp my car all the way home from the highway. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Negative experience: The call for information contained inaccurate information. I wasn't calling with an emergency. Maybe that would have been different.

Positive experience: Update- CAA rebated the cost of seats which the website page erroneously indicates are covered in the drill down total flight summary. The IT team acknowledged and put a fix against the platform.

Fantastic experience: Got my car towed on a snowy day and only had to wait 15min for a flat bed to arrive. Great customer service over the phone also. 5 star no complaints from me. Membership is free just from the fuel discount I get.

Negative experience: Been a member for 30 years - CAA has had problems in the past but in general the service has been good, at least in my experience. Today I called this travel Call Centre - on hold for 45 minutes and counting.....It's time to reevaluate my relationship with CAA.

Negative experience: No one answers phone. When they finally answer you get put on hold again and I sat on hold for 2 hours then THEY hung up. I booked with them so I had to go through them to get a credit back from the airline. They were no help at all as I said sat on hold for 2 hours the they disconnected. They want the commission but when something goes wrong they won’t help. NEVER book travel through them as they are the worst. I am a CAA member but I will never book travel with them again.

Negative experience: Phone system is frustrating. After pressing the correct options still connected to wrong department. Person who answered was unhelpful bordering on rude. When I asked to be connected to correct department she just placed me in the queue again.

Negative experience: I phoned several times to talk with a travel agent to arrange a flight, hotel and rental car. The lines were always busy, so I gave up.
Negative experience: The security guard who was working over the weekend should be fired from his job , we went there to check out the office, he was rude and passing obscene remarks. Watch out for that security guard as he doesn’t know how to talk to people.

Negative experience: You need lots of time to stand there whats seems forever. Only one person to assist a line of people waiting standing in line with no place to sit. Once we finally got our turn our sales rep was excellent and lots of help. Please get more staff for your members, and get some place to sut and wait.

Negative experience: Trip Tik App, pathetic, not user friendly and the interface is reminscent of something we would have used 25 years ago. Add to that , we can use Google maps offline, I would have thought CAA would have created a 21st century app to help travellers with easier map access. Staff at CAA ....I give a 4 star hail, but this is my review about the antiquated web user experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, thank you very much for your help and assistance!!!!! Yesterday we had a flat tire on a highway, far from home. CAA came to rescue very fast, delivered the car to our shop from Burlington to Toronto and got us home also. We are so grateful. Not sure what we would do without CAA! God bless you CAA guys!!!

Negative experience: Fri Feb 1st 2019 - I had parked overnight in the 58 Richmond Street Green P and went to work at St. Michael's Hospital. In the morning my car would not start in the -18 degree Celsius cold weather of the garage. I called CAA around 7:45am on Feb 1 2019 for a boost and charge to my battery. The person who showed up from CAA 30 minutes later did a battery check and said my battery had low voltage and would not start if he were to attempt a boost. He then offered to sell me a battery, but did not try to boost my battery or charge it at all. When asked why, he insisted that the battery would not start. He said I would have to tow my car out of the garage, and I would have to call CAA back to arrange a tow. I went home and went to sleep. At 3pm I tried to arrange a tow with CAA, but no one picked up the phone even after 50 minutes. So I used the app to schedule service, and had a tow guy call me 10 minutes before they were to arrive at 4:50pm to say I did not put the address in the app properly. He did not show up. I scheduled another service request and the app said I would get help at 5:40pm. I went to the hospital before 5:40pm and waited. No one showed up or called, and the app remained active. I finally called someone who was referred to me at 8:00pm and he came and boosted and charged my car with no issues, and I was able to drive it to a repair shop. The cost of his service was $150.00. He told me the boost and charge could have been done in the morning by the first guy CAA sent had he known what he was doing. I would like to be reimbursed for the $150.00 I had to spend on the 3rd party person who knew how to boost and charge my vehicle's battery. I also received a call from a CAA tow person at 10:00pm asking me if I still need service because the app said I needed service! I explained to him that the app said I was to get service by 5:40pm. I had waited at the hospital across the street from where I was parked until 8:00pm and I had to take matters into my own hand and get a 3rd party to help me. Then I received a call from Alexa-AHP from CAA at 10:10pm. I explained the entire day's situation to her and she was very sympathetic. My entire day was wasted, and my membership for nought because the morning CAA guy was more interested in selling me a battery, instead of boosting my vehicle's battery. He is a young Trinidadian-Indian guy. I am also Trinidadian, and it is surprising in his camraderie with me that he would neglect to do his job properly. Had he checked, as the 3rd party guy had, he would have seen that my windows had power, the lights came on, and since the stereo worked, the battery probably had enough power to start. He should have tried to boost my battery and not been so sure of himself. I am thoroughly disappointed in CAA for the lack of quality service. This is not why I pay for a membership. I pay for the insurance of peace of mind, and now I don't have that peace of mind. There will always be extremely cold winter weather in Toronto and CAA has to do much better.
