Negative experience: When we arrived at our resort in Half Moon Bay we ended up looking at a fence NOT an ocean view as we would expect. It seems that these packages end up giving you the wrong end of the stick? WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Fantastic experience: We always use bc ferries vacations to go to victoria. They always have great customer service. This summer Robyn took great care of us and made sure all our expectations were reached. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service and organization. This is not the first time, for a few minutes late. They hold us whole day this time. They kept us in standby line for only three minute late. Our holiday which is my wife’s birthday was destroyed by Tsawwassen Terminal.

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been using BC Ferries for the last few years to visit Victoria and each time was amazing! I've called Customer Service a few times to change my sailing time and they were always nice and courteous! Staff at the ferry terminal and on the boat are always friendly and top notch! Thank you so much BC Ferries! :)

Negative experience: We arrived at the terminal 5 hours before our reservation and were we not allowed to transfer our payment to the earlier sailing!!! We ended up having to wait!!! Not happy

Positive experience: Kindness of the staff. But the service is good. The men's restrooms are dirty.

Negative experience: Had a booking cancelled. BC Ferries should automatically rebook you instead of making you scramble to rebook. If your sailing is cancelled you should get priority.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and cooperative people working at this location. They helped me last minute with printing the vouchers and also provided recommendations for my Victoria trip.

Negative experience: Well, this is a Monumental waste of time. What is the point of submitting a customer to a lengthy booking process, taking a payment from them and then informing them the next day that the booking isn't available? How can you sell a booking without knowing whether is available? This is shockingly stupid, unprofessional and simply aggravating. This is the last time I will book anything through this site.

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute best customer care with Eleonora. Booking more than one room but only traveling with one vehicle online was dealt with much more economically when handled with this amazing representative. Definitely will be calling in future rather than booking online.

Fantastic experience: Everything went off without a hitch. 20 min. Delay on the way home but with the view and the extra ride it's not somthing to complain about. Hotel was great. Reservations all in order for a simple time with pre printed vouchers. Make sure you show up 30 min prior to sailing!

Fantastic experience: Just used BC Ferries Vacations to book a trip to Ucluelet. I was within 72 hours of booking a trip so I had to phone in. The process was a breeze. Excellent customer service. I was able to secure a room on extremely short notice. Shout out to Doug the representative I spoke to on the phone for sorting everything out for me. This isn't my first time using BC Ferries Vacations and certainly won't be my last.

Negative experience: My wife and I booked this stay through B.C ferry vacations. The Hotel that we booked was for the Double Tree. We checked in later in the evening of Sept 30 to a room with black mold in the shower and what looked like feces splattered on the back of the bathroom door. In the morning I visit the lobby for the complimentary continental breakfast. The host seated me, after eating I was charged 27 dollar's because I had some bacon from the table and that was not included. Today I was going through my credit card statement to find another charge from the hotel. Upon check in they they had told us the the parking was free, but I was charged 27 a day plus taxes for this. The staff at the front deck was discourteous, the room was not at clean. Apart from paying 300 plus a night they offer valet parking and a complimentary breakfast but charge you for both onto your room. I feel like I was taken advantaged of.

Negative experience: Website bumped me out of a reservation for 3pm to 9am, then they charged me more money to put it back to 3pm

Fantastic experience: Booked inner passage vacation route. Williams lake, Prince George, Smithers, Prince Rupert, Port Hardy, Campbell River. All accommodations were excellent. The Crest in Prince Rupert with a view of harbour was amazing!! Unfortunately the whale watching trip was cancelled due to weather conditions - high wind. We received our refund within a couple days. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: ORCA DRIVING SCHOOL is one of the best schools. MR. MOHSEN AHMADIPUR is very patient. I took the exam the first time with only three practice sessions and passed. Do not doubt that they are the best.

Negative experience: The most unreliable transit service in Canada. Always delayed on weekends or holidays. Their reservation system is a joke, the whole company is terribly mismanaged and their customer service is a disgrace. Not to mention the ridiculous overpriced fares they have during summer.

Fantastic experience: Great experience, book your ferry, or you will have to wait to see when you go on. Views are amazing. Unfortunately, the price was more than I expected ( $140 -4 people and a car, and that was only one way )( Vancouver to Victoria).

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal service! The agents worked hard to ensure that we were able to do a trip that met our needs! (It was myself, my 14 year old daughter and our dog while my husband was at work). They kept working until they found us accommodations that worked (pet friendly), and booked everything for us. The hotels they found were amazing - and some of the best pet friendly ones that I have ever stayed at! The ferries were booked too. I paid it all in advance so the only thing I had to worry about when the time came was good and spending money. There were bonus perks too from booking through BC Ferries - such as breakfast and parking deals depending on the accommodation. Thank you so much for throwing this together for us! Would highly recommend and would definitely book through them again!

Positive experience: The experience is a must do. The motion of the boat, the sound of the water, and the fresh air is so relaxing. Be prepared for a very tight fit getting out and back into your vehicle though.

Negative experience: I booked a package in advance, but never heard back from them and when I contacted customer service, they told me my request was denied. Would not recommend booking vacation packages with bcferries

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Prestige Hotel, waterfront, in Sooke on Vancouver Island and it was really lovely. We were there during the week and hardly any other people

Negative experience: You can't change any ferry reservations made as part of these packages online, or with phone agents -- only specifically with staff in the vacations department. Total mistake. Don't use.

Fantastic experience: Forgot my bag inside the Ferry terminal and already drove onto the ferry without noticing. Once I noticed, I let the staff know and they were so friendly and quick to get someone to bring my bag on board. Great customer service while being extremely friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: All around it was an great experience booking with bc ferries vacations. Maria whome we talked to on the phone was amazing, helpful and so nice. She found us an amazing hotel last minute over newyears weekend.

Negative experience: Times are never accurate anymore and it’s impossible to know if you’re too early or late as it could be a ferry that is just running late, essentially meaning the schedule is useless. Literally ended up separating my girlfriend and I as she went into Horseshoe bay thinking we had 30 mins based on the schedule when in fact we only had 5.

Positive experience: I went on a long weekend. I recommend you book tickets well in advance for its busy. I got there 30 mins prior and was the last car on. I was lucky, I also appreciate that there is somewhere to take your dog it's convenient and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: I use the ferry on a regular basis and really have compliment BC Ferries on hiring such excellent crew. It is always a great experience on you mini cruises! Still haven’t found the formal dining room though.

Negative experience: Overpriced.

Positive experience: Been on 2 vacays with BCF and had a good time. A good way to book through a single point of contact and with the packages already negotiated by BCF, there is no need to think twice

Fantastic experience: Traveling in the ferry is a great experience. Good flexible options between the deck and indoor seating or both as per travel time. Take your personal vehicle if you can to drive around on the islands. Have done multiple trips at various times and loved the comfortable journey, with a nice and simple menu at the onboard cafeteria. Just wish customers would use the toilets more responsibly and not leave a toilet paper mess.

Negative experience: I had been using this service for over 5 years but will never use it again, thanks to Robin the “manager” that provided zero customer service. I booked a room with air conditioning for the weekend of June 24-27 (my birthday is the 25th), we have a French bulldog and he needs to have air conditioning plus I saw the heatwave in the forecast for that weekend. The hotel room had two rooms and only one portable air conditioner that didn’t work well because of its age. From the manager: No options given, no apologies, no compensation for this misrepresentation. The manager said “in our details is says it’s a free standing unit, there a many types of air conditioning ” - on the bc ferries vacations site it says air conditioning - it is not the customers responsibility to verify the truth of what’s on a company site. BC Ferries vacations does not stand behind what’s written on their website.

Positive experience: It seemed to be a little bit more expensive than booking separately. I didn't book the service.

Negative experience: no zero star option?

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful experience. Went to Tigh Na Mara Resort in Parksville. Cheaper option when looking for quality vacation options.

Negative experience: Lucky your guys who were able to book something . I just spent more than an hour happily researching my vacation , booked it and then got an email saying an agent has to confirm booking first. Received an email later in the evening saying trip not available , no explanation. Called travel agent number , After 30 min hold was told hotel not available. So beware , they advertise like everything shown is available to book but in reality it is not. Will let you book it even if not available. Terrible way to run online bookings. guess you guys were just lucky or called travel agent from the start . Bc ferries , please fix your online booking system to reflect only what is truly available. Otherwise you are just wasting peoples time and energy and false advertising quite frankly !

Positive experience: Usually arrives 15 mins late to Nanaimo from Horseshoe Bay and coming back too.

Positive experience: Great service and accommodations. The google map directions to the Horseshoe bay terminal for passengers with cars needs to be improved/ more accurate. Also did not like the late notice that our ferry from Nanaimo was canceled. Other than that good experience.

Fantastic experience: BC Ferries vacation packages are a great deal! We did the Oak Bay Beach Hotel in Victoria and it was fantastic.

Fantastic experience: This was my second BC Ferries vacation package trip. Loved them both. The hotels are great, ferry is included both ways. I found the price to be more than reasonable. They give you a choice of hotels. I'll do it again.

I was sent a confirmation that it would be confirmed asap…of course 2 weeks is asap with this organization…I was told that the hotel requested didn’t have a room…searched the hotel and booked, unfortunately we have to take the ferry.!?’$&@. Waste of time.

Positive experience: I’ve travelled many trips and all good except Huntington Manor is terrible for noise, room appeal, location views and breakfast is poor. Another friend book a. Month later and left after a day due to excessive noise etc. I wouldn’t recommend having them on your list

Fantastic experience: If traveling to Vancouver Island, Sunshine coast, the Gulf islands or the mainland always check in at BC Ferries Vacation. There's plenty of deals that may work for you. We got 2 nights at Ti Na Mara and our ferries included for a great price. Pretty much the ferry was free. I don't work for BC Ferries but with the amount that we go over it's always worth checking out the deals and packages they provide.

Negative experience: Abusive customer care service. They advertised one hotel on their website to attract customers and then they give some other cheap hotel when we buy the package. When we call them to change the hotel, they were blaming us and then they charged us a fee to make the changes. The customer care representative was very rude and she just hung up the phone which was very unprofessional. Please try to avoid this website at any cost.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional customer service I have ever dealtw Called twice, 2 different staff and both were so mean! Never finish the deal til the end! They way that lady- her name was Katie I guess- was talking to me, raised my anxiety bar to 100! She was so frustrated and almost yelling at me when I asked her to move the date of our vacation one day forward! She almost hang up the phone in my face! OMG she was so rude! I mean that's her job being a customer service representative! And all she cared about was the number of calls! No the quality! Definitely sth wrong with the company's policy!

Fantastic experience: The value behind this is great. It offers a nice getaway to the island. We've booked a few vacation packages to date and our favourite is Black Rock Resort. My one pet peeve about booking is that you need to print out your reservation. We once did not and it was a nightmare to get onto the ferry and then to check in. @BCFerries You should look into giving people the option to show their confirmation on their phone as it's more environmentally friendly. But other than that, the packages are great.

Fantastic experience: We had the best trip ever and stayed at the Lund Resort in Lund. We were upgraded to their Ocean Front suite with the best ever amenities and view. We had been worried about both the windy and snowy forecasts and these did interrupt Island travellers but not us going to the Sunshine coast. We have been using BC Ferry vacations for a few years now and will definitely continue to do so.

Positive experience: Pretty cool experience, the site in the morning is really nice. My concerns is the prices of travelling with a car is quite high, and the wifi doesn’t work on smartphones for some reason.
