Fantastic experience: It was our first time traveling with a bus tour and it was a big group of 112. I would ensure that I was with a smaller group next time. It was hectic. That said, the hotel was very good and was in a great location. The Portuguese tour group was efficient and reliable. They offered a number of excellent tours. We came home very happy with the entire trip.

Fantastic experience: We sailed on the Icon of the Sea from March 22-29. We flew into Miami on the 21st. It was a perfect family holiday for ages 10 to 78. There was something for everyone on the ship. The food and service were amazing! All of our bookings were handling through Alexis Parks at Travel Best Bets. The trip was meticulously arranged and my many questions were answered. I was also given options to choose a hotel in Miami that could accommodate 4 families. All of us had a wonderful holiday and hope to plan another holiday with Alexis in the near future!

Negative experience: I am disappointed with the customer service and knowledge of the person I recently booked a Caribbean cruise at Best Bets Weeks after booking my Holland America cruise and signing the paperwork for the cruise on the Neiuw Statendam I receive a duplicate email with just a heading change of ship. Now I am informed the ship will be the Neiuw Amsterdam. No apology no phone call and when I called the agent he couldn’t even tell me why I had received the email even though he had just sent it . The ship we are now sailing on is much older so it’s quite disappointing. The agents response was very dismissive, I would not book again with this attitude. i am now home from my cruise and i do feel my travel agent could have been more informed about issues in the booking. I had requested help in booking flights which was never followed up. Holland America actually can help book flights that can be co-ordinated with the cruise, we were never informed about this. There were issues with the travel insurance that were not explained until after deadlines had passed. I’m just really disappointed with the knowledge level with Hamza. Isn’t this knowledge why we book with a travel agent rather than on line?

Fantastic experience: Flight was delayed both ways. We downloaded the Westjet app ahead of time and watched movies. The respect was very nice, the room was basic but had AC, we had a fridge that kept the drinks cold. Shout out to Ahtish for taking care of all the details. Had a great time.

Fantastic experience: We just went on the Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand trip through Bestbets and Exoticca travel. We are not seasoned travelers. We absolutely loved it!! I recommend without hesitation. The guides were great and made sure we were successfully through check ins, borders, then the next guide was waiting. We chose the Charm package and the hotels were great and in good locations. The only sort of iffy was the Royal Bangkok as most of their rooms have no windows! I recommend upgrading to a room with a window there. The location in China Town was fun though! Great food, great people - go on this trip!!! Don't miss the Ninh Binh and Mekong Delta optional tours for sure, but all were good.

Negative experience: Unfortunately travel best bets gets you bottom of barrel room. Several people we talked to feel the same. This resort is so outdated now. Restaurants closed, not enough sun chairs etc. long list. As you can see, we had swamp outside our room. Makes it nasty for bugs. Sitting outside was not an option. Broken door handle and rollers on door worn out. Could hardly slide it open. Sorry but I think this was the last time with you. Not happy at all.

One trip they put together was to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico for our whole family, including our five grandchildren. It went without a hitch. Thanks to Tina our rep from Travel Best. We can have a lot of questions and she was always there to help and support us. We just came back from a trip to southern Asia. Five stars to Tina again. We could go on but the bottom line is, Tina and Travel Best do a remarkable job.

Fantastic experience: Loved the cruise to Mexico on Discovery Princess. Staff on board where amazing, and very helpful and food delicious . The day trips were good variety and great shopping and guides and ports inviting. Would do Mexico again but was so disappointed with the service from Air Canada in Vancouver arrived two hours early for flight with boarding tickets but we're not ever in security when plane was boarding. Not impressed with their service , care or their attitude when they wouldn't help when they knew we would miss the ship. Thank you Tina

We’ve now booked several times with Chelsie and received excellent service and advice, prior to and during our vacations. On top of that we are confident that we receive very competitive pricing, with best bets meeting or beating offers we find through other online sites. The best thing is that by talking with one of their professionals, we get insights that you can’t get from an online booking site.

Positive experience: Flight was great and on time. Westjet had no in flight entertainment available for both ways of our trip. That was a little disappointing. The resort was very good lots of amenities and things to do. The room itself was a little below par. But everything worked.

Fantastic experience: We have worked with Chelsea for many trips. Each trip has been fantastic and as advertised. I had issues checking in online to one of my flights and Chelsea responded right away and the issue was resolved. We will be using this travel agency for many more vacations.

Negative experience: Our accommodation was disappointing. We would never recommend this property. In 10 days we were unable to secure a lounger at either pool (we were not willing to get up at 6 am to place a towel to 'save' a seat).

Negative experience: Travel Best Bets was unresponsive from the very beginning, the agent assigned would rarely pick up the phone or call back after leaving voicemails. Later on, after making the booking and payment, the Sunwing flight was delayed, and subsequently cancelled. I cannot blame Travel Best Bets for this taking place, but they were completely unresponsive during this time. If the agency is not available to help guide the client during such situations, then what purpose do they serve? You would think they would be proactive by looking into alternatives, but they were not at all reachable. When the entire trip was cancelled, they sent cryptic emails that may as well have been written by artificial intelligence. Our group felt completely unsupported in navigating the process to make a claim and seek rightful compensation from the airline. The cherry on top of all this was that they refused to refund the $30 service fee. This may seem like a trivial amount, but let me be clear - the service they provide is worth exactly $0. Avoid at all costs.

Positive experience: Vacation was very good other than the private contractors that transport passengers from the airport in Cancun to Bahai Príncipe resort who asks if anyone would like a Corona and of course everyone would like one . At the end of the trip he requests 100 pesos per Beer which totalled 1000 Pesos which is a little higher than the 150 Pesos it would cost you at the local Oxxo. Make people aware of this scam that the agent of your tour company is enabling. Other than this fleecing of un suspecting tourists going on an all inclusive vacation the rest of the vacation was fine

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing trip. From our driver picking us up at the airport to the train station then train station to the hotel. Same as we left. The hotel was fantastic. Best view of the sunrise each morning. The only down side was waiting for the train went we arrived. It was a 4 hours wait but understood why.

Positive experience: The Grand Palladium is a beautiful location right on the cliffs above the ocean. Upon arrival we upgraded our room and it worked very well for us. My only issue was how hilly the site is. Every restaurant required climbing lots of stairs and if you have any type of knee or hip issues it was very difficult. We discovered the ramp to the building where the buffet was located after struggling for three days. The hostess at this restaurant never once mentioned there was a better way to get in. The hotel is definitely not accessible for someone in a wheelchair. The weather was perfect. We saw lots of whales offshore and lots of wildlife on the property. Definitely a great vacation.

Fantastic experience: Tiffany provided excellent service at handling all of our travel plans for a G Adventures tour to Belize/Guatemala, including best options for flights, hotel transfers, and communications with hotels while in Belize. I highly recommend Tiffany, her knowledge and patience, and will work with her again.

Positive experience: Sunwing vacations to P.V. Rui Vallarta Good hotel, good food, good room. Great staff Horrible flights, both ways, cattle cars in the sky. Too many seats crammed in leaving no legroom. Very uncomfortable.I thought crew was very unprofessional and lacked any kind of empathy. Only interested in dollars. I took exact same plane to Palm Springs with Westjet and had loads of legroom. Will never fly Sunwing again.

Positive experience: The experience at the Bluebay was one that I won't do again at this resort. I certainly don't put that on you as I always have a good experience dealing with you. I'm hoping next year to try out the EXCELLENT resort. I ask that you keep me posted for a great deal on this resort for next February 2026. For 10 days - 2 weeks and 2 people. Thank you.

Negative experience: Terrible hotel! Advertised as a 4 but was a 2! Food was tasteless, cold and just awful day after day. Room had broken furniture. The safe and fridge didn't work. The drapes had duct tape to cover the holes! Don't stay here.

Fantastic experience: The Oak Bay Resort is a fantastic place to go and stay for relaxation and reconnecting with your significant other or an old friend. We will have been coming yearly, usually in the off season and take advantage of the pools and onsite spa and restaurants. Never disappointed. See you next year!

Fantastic experience: Bahai Principe Coba in Cancun was an excellent choice for our one week all inclusive vacation. Perfect weather with an occasional thunderstorm in the evenings to gawk at. Food was very good, but getting to eat at the specialty restaurants three times helped breakup the same-ness of the buffet. Very attentive staff, great gym, lots of fresh coffee, pool side loungers and clean towels. Couldn't have asked for a better time. Thanks to Tiffany at Travel Best Bets for finding the right fit for us. Plus all this for C$3,500 for two including flights and transfers! Will use TBB again for sure.

Fantastic experience: Comfortable and affordable -- good value for the money. The hotel is in transition right now, new owners, et al, however service was good - a bit spotty at times. The location is ideal and the facilities are well maintained. I did not use the Spa or Hot tubs or gym.

Negative experience: Working with Travel Best Bets was a good experience. Can't say the same for the resort we stayed at. Our bathroom flooded four times. No hot water for showers. Food was sometimes cold and leftover from lunch. Won't stay here again. This resort shouldn't be rated as four stars.

Positive experience: Travel best bets was great to work with. We were a group of 8 adults going to Wyndham Alltra Vallarta. My only comment about the resort is that the beds / pillows were very firm, too firm for my liking but that is a personal preference. Otherwise a great place too stay if you are looking for a getaway with some R&R, it is a low key resort, with a chill vibe, not recommended if you are looking to party. Could use more seating in the lobby area as this is the only area to congregate it in the evening.

Positive experience: Our Indian Ocean cruise with NCL was great. A few disappointments! The stop in Oman was cancelled prior to setting sail and our second island in the Seychelles was also cancelled the morning we were supposed to go ashore. We ended up having 5 consecutive days at sea instead of 3. Also the wifi on the ship was terrible. It cost a lot and then it usually didn’t work. Other than that, the food and service was good.

My travel agent was more than helpful with all my questions and in helping me find the best trip for me. The flights and hotel transportation were on time. The resort was clean and beautiful. Nobody goes to Cuba for the food. But you could always find something to eat. I always book with Travel Best Bets and they include the free Travel insurance.

Fantastic experience: We loved Oak Bay Beach Hotel and the whole seaside experience of Oak Bay on Vancouver Island. This is a treasure and sure to be enjoyed by all. We loved the Snug Pub, playable grand piano, and the outdoor pools accessible year round. This place checks all the boxes and has found a balance between posh and incredible hospitality without the snobbery. We will be back!

Very good flight non stop on Westjet.... easy transport to and from hotel, a great area located walking distance to most everything you could need. Hotel was clean, staff were great. Fantastic experience: We recently participated in a Portugal long stay. It was a great experience. From the pick up at the airport to the transfers and hotels, everything went smoothly and on time. Hotels in both Lisbon and Albufeira were top notch. The representative in Albufeira, John, was funny, caring and had a great singing voice. There were so many options for tours that you could be as busy as you wanted. Local options such as busses and trains were easily accessible for those that wanted to do their own local travel. Villa Petra, our hotel in Albufeira, was beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful resort with many restaurant options, outdoor and indoor pools, fitness centre, laundromat, convenience store and so much more. Our room had a fully outfitted kitchen, making it easy to cook our own meals, although there are so many restaurants in the immediate area, that you really didn’t need to cook. Our whole trip was great and we would highly recommend Travel Best Bets. We will be looking at this company for future travel opportunities. Thank you so much for a great trip!

Positive experience: Excellent location. Cheap train and bus trips to nearby cities, Cannes, Monaco MonteCarlo, Eze and Antibes. Restaurant food prices and quality a little better outside of Mensena, Nice. Very walkable area and great food shopping options at Mono prix. The Promenade Anglaise is beautiful, 5 minute walk from the hotel. English is available in Nice tourist area.Hotel IKEA Style.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Marival Emotions Resorts and Suites. The service from the check in to check out was fantastic. All of the staff were excellent and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Recently booked a trip with this location to Mexico, communicating with Shayla the travel agent who booked us was easy. She was easy to get ahold of and always responded to my questions, she was able to get us a good package deal via sunwing vacations and everything was great with the package. I will probably enquire with Shayla for more trips in the future as she was great to deal with. A good experience with this agency overall and a great trip for the price paid.

Positive experience: I was disappointed that I thought I was booking my trip with Travel best bets but it was really a trip with Exotica so travel best bets charged me a $30 commission fee. I tried to upgrade my hotel rooms to the next level and they were unable to accommodate the upgrade. There were 32 people on the tour which is double the usual number which made it a lengthier process to make it through the tours and to be served. Extra time was needed to make pickups and dropoffs at 3 different hotels everyday. There was no free time, except for the last day and a half, for us to explore, shop or eat lunch where we wanted to on our own. Be prepared for very long bus rides as you travel around the country. The scenery is interesting along the way but the highlight for me was the camel ride and overnight in Berber camp excursion. It costs extra but was well worth it.

Positive experience: Our stay at the Linq was quite a shock since the last time we were there. No one advised us when we booked that a Resort fee of $50 (US) or $80 Cdn would be added to our room. If we wanted room service, that would be $50 per day, but at least you could decline that service. Food prices were quite shocking, especially coffee at $6.99 US per cup, 1 banana $3.00. Good thing McDonalds was close by for $2.49 coffee which was much better coffee. Wanted to celebrate a bit but Filet Off The Strip was a good and reasonable place to eat for our anniversary and my birthday 2 days later. The smell of marijuana all over the city was very disappointing. The only enjoyable place to gamble was the Park MGM. (non smoking). If we were ever to go back, we would stay there. With Formula 1 racing preparations, both vehicle and foot traffic & construction was horrendous. Being the kind of people working on the strip, someone managed to trip me and steal my wallet from a fairly secure pocket. Not the way I wanted to remember my 75th birthday. Then had to cancel all my cards and get a temporary drivers license. Filet mignon at $85 (US) at Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen was a bit of a disappointment. 2 Johnny Rockets milkshakes cost us #30.40 Cdn. Uber needs to upgrade their app as their pickup and drop off locations don't always correspond what we requested. Started taking regular taxis. Not planning on returning anytime soon. It seems everyone is charging what the traffic can afford, making up for the Pandemic.

Positive experience: We had travelled on our own to the beginning of the river cruise. We had limited details on the starting place for the cruise, and our follow up with BestBets Travel only provided us with what was given in the booking information We were told we would receive emails 72hours prior to boarding to let us know where we would be boarding. We received no emails at all. We arrived in Passau a day before departure and we actually found our boat docked reasonably close to our hotel. We went on board Emerald Luna and talked with the staff on the bridge, and asked if the boat would be in this spot tomorrow, when we are expected to board. They said “yes”! The next morning, on our morning walk, we found that the boat was no longer there. We tried to phone Emerald, but the calls wouldn’t complete. We ask the hotel’s front desk to try, and after a couple of calls to them, they found that the boat was leaving from a different spot, up the river @ Landau 3. We were told it was not walking distance and needed to get a taxi to get to the boat. We spoke to other passengers on our cruise whe has similar experiences with lack of information prior to boarding and unable to reach Emerald River Cruise Customer Service Emergency number as nobody answered the phone! The stress & confusion of trying locate the boarding area was an unacceptable way to begin a luxury cruise. Once on board service was very good.

Negative experience: Buyer beware. For the amount you pay, it is not worth it. If you are wanting to sit on a bus coach with 47 other people and see Italy from the coach, then this is your trip. Not to mention if someone doesn’t say they are sick then gets the whole bus sick, so fun. Did the best of Italy tour and it was not the best of Italy. More like the mediocre of Italy. You want your hotel to smell like sewage you got it. You want the pompeii experience. Well you get it. Beds are model from the concrete beds of Pompeii. It’s not firm it torture some of the beds you sleep on. Had to pay out of pocket for a chain hotel because our room smelled like sewage. I recommend to look into the hotels you are staying at and seeing the reviews. Once we had our pleasant first night of changing hotels due to poor bed quality and a room smelling of sewage. We had to look at each hotel review the following day to ensure we received a at best 3 star hotel. Only one hotel we stayed at was a four. The rest are 0-2. Hotel food poor quality. I regret paying for the excursions. The only excursion that was good was the Tuscan farm. But then if you’re having fun. Italy has strict rules for professional drivers. So dinners are two hour max. So don’t plan on having a good time. It gets cuts short. I can’t wait to deal with cosmos the company travel best bets buys these packages from. They make you fill out an incident form. I believe this will be a fight to get any compensations. Every city you see you have a max two hour. Because you have to get to the next destination. This trip is so rushed. No time to enjoy or remember the moment. I found better places to eat and enjoy Italy then going on the excursions.

Even more our travel director Daniel Mailhiot was so knowledgeable about everything! He was so easy going and patient and organized. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Positive experience: The cruise ship was nice. We found the main decks that offered shopping and food and relaxing a bit over crowded. did not expect so many children onboard for October. Overall enjoyed the trip.

Negative experience: I saw a great cruise deal with Travel Best Bets on Global BC after a Claire Newell segment. I went to the website, found it and filled out the request a quote form. I got a response from Shayla via email and responded with some questions. No response so I called her the next day, told her about email, she didn't have a response for not responding. I asked the questions and she noted that the cruise was actually from another company Marco Polo travel and they were not open on Saturday but would be in contact with them after the weekend to get responses. 3 days later, crickets. My husband told me if this is the customer service they are offering to forget it and book something on our own which we did., leaving messages and they never call back. Once got an agent, gave them all the information needed for a trip, they never completed the file. These clowns are not that good. Use a reputable online agency and save yourself the hassle. Sad that Global BC is promoting this non responsive company...I see several other reviews with the same problems. Responses from company mostly back their employees not the customer. Maybe they offer good deals but lack of customer service is a total turn off.

Positive experience: The price was right for what we received. Leaving from the Port of Vancouver was a bonus. The Royal Princess was a beautiful ship and we enjoyed it for 13 nights. Once in Hawaii, things weren't so great. We disembarked before 9am and the hotel, Aqua Aloha Surf said check-in was 3pm. They stored our suitcases so we could walk around Waikiki. Good enough we received a call around 11:30am to say our room was ready but we were in the heart of Kalakaua Street by then. The room was on the 7th floor facing the pool in the back of the hotel, in the corner. It definitely was an older property but it was centrally located, albeit, about a 12 minute walk from the beach. We had a double bed, which was on the small side for my 6ft 2" husband and a noisy air conditioner. Signs in the room advised there was housekeeping, change of towels once every 3 days. There was dish soap but no towels to dry our dishes, so we used the hand towels from the bathroom. Our garbage from take out food accumulated over the 2 day stay. The hotel staff was friendly and did their best. A late check out was impossible as they were at capacity and an extra day would have cost USD$320! Our flight wasn't until 10:45pm on October 6, and check out was at noon, so basically we were homeless until we took our Uber to the airport. Because Travel Best Bets was dealing with a third party, Marco Polo Travels for our flights, by the time the third party booked the flight from HNL to Vancouver, there were no more direct flights, which we then were forced to fly to Seattle. What was supposed to be a 1.5hr layover, now became almost 4 hours, after taking the red eye for 6 hours from HNL. We also had no choice in seat selection and my husband had a hard time sleeping. We inquired at the airport (HNL) but the flight was fully booked due to a mechanical problem from a flight the previous day. By the time we received our itinerary, it was too late to select our seats, which would have incurred exorbitant fees for any changes, if they were even available.

Negative experience: Buyers beware. The efforts to communicate the type of bus travel a tour bus company provides from the Travel Best Bet was poor. In fact, communication with this agent from TravelBestBet was so poor, I had to follow up several times to ensure the details required for our trip. Additionally, Cosmos was one of the worse experiences I have ever had from travelling. They shared that the hotels would have a minimum rating of 3 stars but sadly it was more like 0 star quality with accommodations smelling like sewer, quite unsanitary with no amenities provided. The food quality in the excursions was terrible and it truly felt like budget travel overall. If you are looking for a trip of a lifetime, I highly recommend not booking this company and doing your research overall on the experience. Also, for the price per person, it is definitely not worth it. We spent a lot per person ($6k each) and it was one of the worse experiences we had by virtue of accommodations which impacted our experiences greatly. Needless to say we did not sleep or find comfort to enjoy our travels all 13 days.

Positive experience: I had an amazing time in Greece. There was so much to see and do. I can't wait for my next trip!

Fantastic experience: It was the first time for us to do the cruise trip. The staff of Travel Best Bets were very helpful and kept us posted with details instructions. We will definitely to contact them again asking help to plan for our next trip.

Fantastic experience: We booked our flights and cruise through Travel Best Bets with Shauna and everything was perfect!!! The flights were timed just right and the cruise was everything we could have hoped for. Our tickets were delivered via email and we didn't need to do a thing other that show up

Fantastic experience: Had a very positive dealing with Travel Best Bets. We toured Ireland/Scotland with Cosmos. Both Travel Best Bets and Cosmos gave us 100%. Any changes we were notified immediately. Definitely will use Travel Best Bets again. The Kerrs

Negative experience: If you have any issues with your booking, don’t expect Travel Best Bets to help and instead they will blame Air Canada and send you a link via email. They also have no emergency contact so if you deal with not having a hotel reservation like you paid for via travel best bets and it is after hours, there is absolutely no assistance available.

Negative experience: worst customer service ever when travel arrangements go sideways. after multiple interactions with their customer relations staff who are hired to deal with issues, i was very disappointed. i’ve decided to never use best bets again. i’m better off booking my flights and accommodations on my own. to the owner….the hotel tells me it’s an issue to bring up with best bets, your staff member told me its the airlines issue, the airline tells me its your (best bets) issue and around and around and around….your staff didn’t get back to me for a month and a half but not until i reach out first asking for an update. apparently “i was next up in the queue”….please! oh! and apparently your staff member does not know the difference between a regular hotel suite and a wheelchair accessible hotel suite. i’ve recently dealt with the matter one on one with the hotel and received much better satisfaction, then your staff members attempt. thanks for trying. ‍♂️
