We are a full-service travel agency network with some 300 brick-and-mortar travel agencies, websites, a call centre, and independent contractors representing the agent@home program. The network includes the Transat Travel, Marlin Travel, Club Voyages, TravelPlus and Voyages en Liberté brands, as well as other affiliate members.

Fantastic experience: I came to marlin travel one again last month for a trip to pakistan. Once again rocky and saira jilani did not disappoint. They mad sure i had the best trip possible. These to travel agents can never be replaced. These 2 are so kind and grade not only did the give me a Tim hornet giftcard but every new year saira comes to my house and gets a me a gift. I have to say you must come to this place at least once. About 5 years ago i booked a trip something went wrong at the airport it was 4 in the morning Ing. I did not know who to call so i call rocky. he did not care about the time he helped me and told the airport workers that they were wrong so I got into business lounge. Negative experience: worst travel agency ever, Yousaf Jilani lacks basic customer service skills. very rude and irritated for no reason. really embarrassing. Avoid it at all costs don't say I didn't warn you.
Negative experience: This review is specifically about Yousaf Jilani, and he is the main reason I will never book with Marlin Travel again. When we walked into the office, he was sitting there with no greeting, no "How are you?" and no invitation to sit down. When we explained the reason for our visit, he started yelling at us, saying we couldn't travel because we didn't have a visa. His rudeness was astonishing; he spoke to us as if we were beggars, lacking any respect. This behavior is extremely unprofessional for someone representing Marlin Travel. I do not recommend visiting them again if they don't treat their clients with respect. Additionally, I would like to give Yousaf a heads-up: next time you are in an office environment, please conduct yourself accordingly and ensure that your appearance reflects professionalism. You were wearing a shirt that had white stains and breadcrumbs on it, which is not a good look.

Negative experience: I went to Marlin Travel-inside Walmart SQ1 last Saturday @ 10 AM and saw a notice posted on their office that they moved to 50 Burnharmthorpe (Pink Building) I called the number posted on the notice and Yousef answered the call, when I inquired, he told me they are still at Walmart and have not moved and they open late. I was trying to clarify further about the notice posted, but he rudely cut me-off saying " I answered your question" the tenor of his voice seem irritated with my follow-up question. Anyway, I had a similar experience with this guy, when I book a trip to Australia with him sometime in September. After some follow-up on modification of the information on the the passport initially provided, he displays irritation each time I called. Poor customer service is at best described his dealing with customers concern.

Negative experience: In December I contacted the agency for some information about booking a flight. The person I spoke with interrupted me mid-sentence to tell me that the office was closed. I sought clarification on the closure given that the phone was answered and the information online indicated that the centre was open. They were extremely rude. Rather than indicating that they were only open for handling emergencies, they aggressively questioned me on my awareness of recent flight cancellations. When I advised them that they should not speak to customers that way, they hung up the phone on me. I called again to ask to speak with a manager, or for an email address, they hung up the phone on me again. Absolutely inappropriate behaviour, I would never consider booking with this agency.

Negative experience: I called Yousef Jilani (aka Rocky) for group booking advice and wanting to consult. I have NEVER met someone in the service industry this rude. He was hostile, got angry and freaked out at me instantly. He was dismissive and didn’t have the courtesy to listen to me properly. He needs to learn how to speak professionally and it’s no surprise all the reviews here call him and his team rude and unprofessional. DO NOT GO WITH HIM (unless you want to be screamed at).

Negative experience: This was the first time I had used a travel agent and it will very likely be my last. I went to a trip central location with my girlfriend. We booked a trip to an all inclusive in mexico and felt like we were being rushed in and out the door. When we booked he gave us a lot of bad information that we werent sure of until we got to the resort. We were never asked if we wanted 1 bed or 2 and arrived as a couple to a 2 bedroom room. We were told the hotel would/wouldnt have certain features which were almost all opposite to what the agent said. When we found out about these issues, im an understanding guy so i just emailed him since he promised to be there for us while we were away in case we needed help. I emailed him twice about various issues (jan 2, jan 3) and he still has yet to respond to my emails. Upon return from our trip i went to the trip central location to inquire about the poor service and was met with a different agent who more or less told us our problems were not valid and were made to feel like we were wrong in expecting our agent to help us. Trip Central gave me and my girlfriend a view of travel agents that will make it very very hard for me to choose the service of an agent again in the future.

Negative experience: To keep a long story short; instead of making the correct name change on my booking, they cancelled my tickets which almost made me miss my non-refundable trip. Air Canada managed to correct the issue for me (I got lucky as this is not their responsibility). Just something to keep in mind when booking with this company, you'll need to do half of their job for them. I'd suggest going directly through the airline.
Fantastic experience: I booked a trip to Cancun with Nephilene and it was flawless. Nephilene was very acommodating to our requests. We had family coming from Canada, Switzerland and England and she made sure the packages all aligned with no issues. We also requested a connecting room and we were so happy that this request was met. Leading up to the trip when we had to make any changes to the bookings, she was always available and friendly I hope to book more trips with Nephilene in the future! The only thing I'm upset about is being back in this cold Canadian winter after a week of paradise in Mexico!
Fantastic experience: From the moment we stepped into Tripcentral.ca just to simply inquire about destination weddings, Neph took care of us right away and eased our worries. Neph is attentive to our budget and overall vision for our wedding. She is very informative, accommodating, and patient as well. Fantastic experience: This branch is the best, I booked a trip to the Bahamas and I got an excellent deal for my friends and I. Saira really gives you the best advice about travelling; part of why is that because she has traveled a lot, hence can help you out just perfectly fine, and she is easy to talk to. She helped me out a lot with the package, she has the kindest soul and interacting with her was just so refreshing. She gave us an excellent package and her service was stupendous. I would definitely recommend her, book with her!

Negative experience: I would give less than one star if I could. Charged a friend of mine an extra $1200 over the price she was quoted and when she called to clarify, the agent was rude and said she was busy and didn't have time to break it down. She finally gave her a line about the extra costs for being for luggage as the trip had been booked with no bags. How is that even possible that a family would travel with no bags? And honestly, $1200 for luggage. Shouldn't that have been mentioned? I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. I was under the impression that all charges MUST be up front and not hidden after the fact. She wouldn't have even known if her credit card company hadn't alerted her. Not to mention that the charges were made in multiple small amounts. My friend was given the option to cancel, but you can bet the agency would have charged a large sum to do that. My friend, being an extremely nice person, just gave up and chalked it up to an expensive lesson learned. She won't post a bad review. I have no qualms doing so. All I know is the agent's last name was Singh. I dislike deceit. I dislike nice people taken advantage of by unscrupulous people. The agent should be ashamed of herself.

Fantastic experience: After becoming very frustrated with another travel agency (CAA Travel Hamilton) and waiting days for the agent to respond to my emails and phone calls about a simple winter getaway, I called Trip Central and spoke with Ash. During our first conversation, Ash was able to determine my needs, advise me of various locations and answer all of my questions. Within a day he helped me to book an all inclusive vacation for my party of six with no problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. He responded to my inquiry right away and booked us with a great deal. I highly recommend calling him for any travel needs. I will definitely be booking my next trip here. Negative experience: Terrible service and do not recommend this place. Booked through here for a family member's destination wedding and if you're dealing with Saira you NEED to triple check everything from name spelling to the amount you're being charged. Long story short her consistency of mistakes and lack of communication snowballed into a series of issues for the whole party. Better off booking yourself!
Negative experience: I can’t even begin to explain what a terrible experience we’ve had dealing with this travel agency. Our agent Saira Jilani, lacks communication and customer service. From start to finish, our large group faced numerous obstacles all stemming from the poor workmanship of this agent. Incorrect spelling of names, incorrect DOB’s entered and receiving our itinerary only a week prior to travel (all documents were also included on one master document as she was not sure how to separate documents). Not to mention forgetting to book reservations for some of our party and only mentioning this days prior to travel. Because of this all our reservations were affected negatively. We were kept in the dark for weeks as to what was happening with our reservations and despite MANY attempts at contacting them (via email) there were no responses. Our in person experience was not any better as she seemed disheveled and was disorganized. After taking our payment info, she almost over charged me had I not checked and argued with me that I had paid a deposit prior. Use this place at your own discretion!

The travel consultant Saira Jilani did an exceptional job finding the perfect resort for my parents with the perfect beach. There trip was smooth sailing from start to finish! Negative experience: By far the WORST "Travel Agency" that's out there. If you could even call it that. WHAT A JOKE! My first interaction (via email) was with Saira Jilani who cannot write SIMPLE emails. Is that not the most BASIC requirements in this day and age? It looked like it was written by a 5 year old. No grammar, unclear "statements" (I've had to ask her to please clarify her responses to me), and I ended up having to make my own calculations for my payment. She misplaces all critical information for your trip, forgets that you paid, and when you talk to her, it's gets even worse! She is abrupt and dismissive, talks over you, and has zero sense of customer service. Believe it or not, you end up doing half the work she's supposed to do. Oh and her son Yusuf is also a "Travel Agent", who is Saira multiplied by 100. He is more adept at simple English, but comes off as self-righteous, arrogant, and plain rude. I still don't understand why they're still operational. Seriously. We did all of our parts as customers wanting to go on a trip, and isn't a Travel Agency supposed to help make the process smoother? Nope. They've completely made it worse and added on unnecessary stress. Before a vacation. Take heed! Do not ever go to these guys; they'll misplace all your documents, provide you with the worst customer service imaginable, AND make you feel like you made the mistakes. YOU GUYS SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN

Negative experience: Don't bother going to this place they're useless at getting you flights and a bunch of liars, I was told by Saira Jilani that the flight dates I requested were all completely booked and that even though it would show on her screen that if she was to open it up it would not be available and the price she was giving for this trip was 1500 plus. Which is a lot more then I paid when I bought a ticket when I got home and just went online and I had no problem seeing a bunch of flights for cheaper. Also they lied to me saying that I would have to buy the insurance coverage through there company such as flight Interuption because no one does that kind if coverage but they do just go to a TD bank they offer a way cheaper flight interruption coverage.
Negative experience: Tried to book a vacation through them but in my opinion they are very misleading about their prices, first I tried to book it online, found a package that matched my budget, as soon as I try to book it the price changed by $250 dls per person. I thought travel companies are supposed to show you the full price. Called the contact centre and the price was even higher. Went to the office and same thing. Looked again online, and price was lower. Their website is very misleading, definitely I would never book a vacation through them. Misleading prices, not honest.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. RUDE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My father booked a flight in advanced from the middle east to Toronto, and back to the middle east through this location. Manager name is Yusaf Jilani. The return to the middle east date was January, but my father asked Yusaf how much would it cost to change the booking date when they were booking . Yusaf said 65 Euro. My father came to change the date from January to November. He goes to the office, Yusaf claims that it's 150 Euro. Even tho he said 65 when the ticket was booked. My dad gave him 150 dollar Canadian and he took it with no hesitation... Odd. They changed the booking. My father took the envelope and the ticket and kept it. When he got home he checked the ticket. And the ticket says 8 of October instead of 8 of November. Since it was long weekend ( Labour day). My father went back on Tuesday. Asked him that he asked for November not October. Yusaf started shouting at my father sayying it is not his fault, and that my dad is in fault for not checking. My father booked several times with this person, and he had a trust towards him. Also my father doesn't speak English that well. As an agency you should have customer service, specially when you are at fault. If you booked the date properly and checked it this review wouldn't have been posted here. Yusaf made some calls and said he will change it for 125 Canadian dollars. I went after with my father to talk to him, all calmly and respectfully, but he was still being very rude, very disrespectful, and shouting in a high tone. He didn't agree to change until we gave him 60 dollars which is half of what "it requires". As a Marlin Travel agency, this location lacks honesty, respect towards customers, appreciation and customer service.
Negative experience: Not interested in getting customer or anywhere close to satisfying them. Seem to be confused and busy (when there is absolutely no one in their store) No wonder they have such poor reviews!!
Fantastic experience: My wife and I were planning a trip to Cuba and we weren't sure which resort to book. So yesterday, we stopped by the tripcentral location at Square One to get some information. We received a warm greeting from Tom, a vacation expert. Tom was very helpful and very patient with us. He's very knowledgeable and he answered all our questions and helped us make an informed decision. He took his time with us and we ended up booking our trip to Varadero Cuba. We will definitely go back to Tom to book our next trip sometime this year.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst, unprofessional and most ridiculous service that I have ever experienced (Marlin Travel inside Walmart). After confirming the return date that I requested for my trip with the representative, I purchased my tickets. I later found out that day, that the rep entered the incorrect dates. When I called back, he advised that he can change the date but I would have to pay extra (for his mistake?!?!). After hours of arguing with him and his manager, there was no budging. NEVER in my life have I ever experienced a manager yelling at a me as a customer for refusing to pay for their mistake! I was in shock! I would never go back there after that ridiculous situation. I have told all of my friends and family of my horrible experience so they know not to go there. If you are looking for a good, professional, friendly, accommodating, knowledgable, prompt, RESPECTFUL service travel representative, YOU WILL NOT FIND THEM HERE! They don't deserve any business if they treat their customers like that. Unbelievable!

We had gone to request a package for Cuba, and received unexpected behaviour. The person was very harsh in his tone and rude in telling us things. He didn't care to explain us anything and was not giving any room for discussing our travel plans. Rather than discussing about our queries, we were told to go back and decide and come back if we want to book even though we gave him the exact dates. He was being very rude when we were discussing dates with him. We have specially gone to their office after searching online as we wanted to confirm our trip. But, with this attitude we were shocked and thankful that we didn't book anything online with this agency.
Negative experience: This is by far the worst customer service I have ever had in my whole life, they are unprofessinal and extremly rude especially the MANAGER! And thr worse part about all of that is we missed our plane and paid an extra 2500$ For another one way trip becuz simply they did not inform us about the change in the flight schedule and now when we return trying to get a simple explanation about what happened the manager failed to be good he was rude un professianal and no one will compensate our loss.. Im writing my experience and just go and find another location dont lose your money!!
Negative experience: I have never been to any other Marlin Travel, and let me tell you this one ruined it for the rest of the Marlin Travel agencies. I have never been treated so bad when trying to book a flight, especially from the MANAGER. He was beyond rude, had 0 customer service skills, and was trying to rush everything. I am aware everyone has bad days, but this was no way to treat a customer, at all. I did not book my trip with them simply because of how I was treated. All said and done, find a different location.
Positive experience: For last min flight deals better than anyone else.
