Fantastic experience: We went with FJ Travel for our Umrah trip as recommended by a family friend. We were not disappointed with the services Alhamdulillah. Costs were very reasonable and they took care of everything from the visas, to plane tickets, to hotels and transportation. They answered all my questions clearly and their coordination with the Saudi team was very good. We always maintained a great line of communication throughout the trip. Special thanks to brothers Omer Mustafa, Javed Chowdhury, Hafiz Sanaullah, Mohammad Iftikhar and Bilal Iqbal. Jazakallahu Khairan. I would definitely consider them for future Umrah trips.

Fantastic experience: Booked 5 Tickets at last moment to Pakistan and got very good deals with excellent service from the staff especially from Omer.

Negative experience: Double check with agent of baggage and price. They sold a ticket without telling us ticket doesn't include 2 bags and when i went to purchase second bag online it can't be possible. For older people who travel alone it will be pain for them to handle everything specially lagguage boarding then new extra issue of purchasing extra baggage over the counter. In the end they don't except their fault and i have to put extra money. If you're aware how to buy things over credit or debit just purchase it buy your self don't trust on these kind of agencies who doesn't even hold a single right on any airline.

Negative experience: I'm here to share nothing but facts about this agency. I've had the worse may be worse is a smaller word with FJ the funny part is I have dealt with then in the past and it wasn't too bad but this time my bad luck I dealt with JAVED. This guy messed up my whole umrah trip, told him im traveling with my family so I want him to make sure things are organized and setup up properly and he made sure he does the opposite. Inspite of taking a direct flight to Jeddah I had almost 7 hrs wait time at the Jeddah Airport to go to Madinah and this was done without my knowledge, I found out when the tickets were issued and when I confronted him he made lame excuses saying I did send you emails and texts and in reality he never did and when he realised he is caught lying he said sorry and told me SOMETHING IMP WAS GOING ON IN THE OFFICE SO HE WAS SUPER BUSY and it's just 6-7 hrs wait which is normal, may be it's normal for him not for people who are traveling with small kids. Anyways cut long story short this place is a joke I tried talking to FJ manager but he is useless too told me he will look in to it and get back to me but that was it This is a typical desi place that doesn't even understand a word of what customer service means. This was the last time I have used these guys as my travel agents. Piece of advice to everyone stay away from them. And piece of advice to FJ hire people with good skills and knowledge if they wanna stay in the business otherwise you will soon be locking your doors. I am waiting for these guys to say we don't have a record of me being their customer and I'll post all the screen shots. Will be filling a complain in Teco aswell....

Positive experience: My honest review is based on services received in January 2024 for a family Umrah trip. Pros *Flight was okay. *Airport pickup was okay though we had a hard time finding the driver *Airport drop-off was on time *Hotels were decent and a short walking distance from the masjid both in Makkah and Madinah. Very convenient . *Drivers and tour guides were friendly and polite Cons *Communication was mostly inconsistent. *We paid for a Quad room but this company booked us a Triple room stating that my 6 year old and 8 year old could share a bed. This was very inconvenient. When I pointed this out the company denied instead providing a different receipt from the one I was issued when I paid. *Ziarat tour guides did not fully understand English and we had to ask other pilgrims for assistance most times. *Hotel booked in Madinah was different from the one offered *Local transport was disorganized, usually hours late and not communicating clearly. This is very frustrating and doesn't enable proper planning. * The company stated that abayah and Ihram clothing was free, however they were asking for $150CAD for postage from Brampton to Ottawa. That's unreasonable and we chose to purchase our own My advice is to prospective clients if you chose to use this company is: * to document all communication with the company as there will be inconsistencies. *If you plan to pay by credit card, the company will ask for a photo of your credit card. We did not accept this as we believe it is unsafe and illegal. * avoid the wording "or similar* when it comes to hotel bookings as there is no guarantee what you will receive.

Negative experience: Horrible service. If you don’t ask them, they simply won’t tell you or provide you with any information. I prepaid my fees with the best available package few months in advance. I reached out to babar and Omar on WhatsApp message constantly and a full 9 days before flight if I have option to change seats and they would nod their heads and say yes but the system wouldn’t let me due to it being booked by a private company. Come the day of, and I m told they can’t do anything. Umrah is expected to bring some level of difficulties but that’s no excuse for a company making it harder on people with their service quality. You are literally dealing with the same level of service you would get if you book cheaper packages in India or Pakistan. My current experience with this airline booking company has not been pleasant due to a simple ask turning into a mess.

Negative experience: I had forgotten about this agency until their marketing team decided to do a blast promotion to all of their previous (and probably unhappy) clients. To put it simply, I purchased a ticket through this agency in 2019, and had a very unfortunate trip. I was trapped overnight in a foreign airport due to an extremely short (20 minutes) layover designed by an agent at FJ. When I missed my connecting flight, I was told my "make-up" flight would be handled by the agency I purchased the ticket through. Not only did this agency not provide a ticket with over 48 hours notice, they also failed to issue a refund due to their incompetence. I didn't complete my trip nor did I receive any compensation. I don't usually write reviews for bad experiences, but prospects of this agency should be aware of the incompetence.

Fantastic experience: Had a really great experience doing umrah with FJ travel. 5 nights in Makkah at Anjum Hotel and 3 nights in Madina at Crown Plaza. The ground transportation was excellent and the trip went as expected. Omer helped me and my family with all the hassle free booking and visas. Would highly recommend going to umrah via FJ travels

Fantastic experience: I stumbled upon this agency a while ago and I was really in desperate need of a ticket to pakistan. Omer helped me get a ticket and made sure my trip went smoothly as I was traveling alone. Highly recommend them!

Negative experience: I was going to be their customer, however, got saved. My friend Nasrullah Niazi was about to buy5 the package with them. I had told Nasrullah that I will buy the same package what you do. Nasrullah had sent them $3,000, and their attitude changed, voice/tone changed after receiving the money. Charged him $150/person * 5 = $750 and returned him $2,250. I am suggesting, do not send anyone money until you have written confirmation what you will get. Be careful with the term "Something similar " Make sure about flight schedule and wait times at each airport. I will not use FJ travels at all. Hasan

Negative experience: My experience with FJ was very bad. For Ramadan umrah. He didn't fulfill his promises. I wanted to go with the group but I found myself alone there. No help was found through FJ Travel. For the hotel, I paid for two people he put three people without informing us. People in my room he put were special needs people. It was extremely uncomfortable. that they made the washroom always engage and dirty, with their loud snoring can't sleep, FJ Travel said that our personnel will help you but no help was found. He said all ground level giyarat included in Makkah and Madina, but there was no giyarat. He said to share the transport for airports and the Makkah to Madina which was very bad. He didn't provide proper information about the meals in the hotel. I would also like to mention that through FJ Travel I booked my ticket six months before Ramadan but FJ Travel did a visa process Ten days before leaving, because of a late visa I was not able to book'' Riyajul Janna's visit, it was full a month before Ramadan. I miss this important visit as well. On top of that, after coming back, wanted to talk with FJ Travel's owner, but he was very rude. Overall FJ Travel has destroyed my Ramadan Umrah.

Fantastic experience: Asaalam Alikum Mashallah excellent service. I went with my family in March 2023 for 10 days. Everything is perfect. Javed bhai and Omer bhai are very humble and very polite people who give good service in Toronto, Makkah, and Madinah all time they guide and assist us. Very good FJ travel keep it up!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I recently completed Umrah with FJ Travel. Everything was taken care of extremely well by FJ including hotels (Al Ghuffran) and Pullman Zam Zam in Medina. We had a wonderful time as their employees in Makkah, Medina and Turkey picked us up promptly from the airport to the hotels including ziarat. I would definitely book with FJ again. Negative experience: Unprofessionalism at its worst. I would strongly recommend avoiding this travel company. My cousin's family's umrah trip in December was a complete disaster. They were left stranded at the airport with no help or support. Instead, they received rude and swear-filled messages from the owner, which was a clear indication of the unprofessional behavior of this travel company.

Negative experience: Please do your research before booking with this agency. My family recently went for Umrah over the Winter holidays 2022 and unfortunately had terrible customer service. Instead of receiving help they were verbally attacked, belittled, blamed and shamed for incidents that were out of their hands. No one should ever have to be subjected to disgusting profanities, especially whilst embarking on a spiritual journey. Again, please do your due diligence before booking with this agency.

Negative experience: Booked an Umrah trip for Dec 26-Jan 4. One group from Edmonton (2 adults, 2 kids) 1 group from Toronto (2 Seniors, 1 adult). The only thing that FJ did properly was taking our money and booking the trip. However, when things did not go as planned, they didn’t want to help. They did not help us with the airlines or hotels to coordinate new flights and bookings. Too busy counting their margins and ripping of new customers. They resort to abusive language and threats towards my family and others. FJ lacks human empathy, business ethics, accountability, customer service. Very shameful. Please stay away.

Negative experience: We are very upset with our experience. We weren’t properly guided or informed. We would have to call the agent ourselves to find out what we have to do whereas other groups had a representative from the travel agency who assisted them with everything. The thing we were most upset about was that we could not bring back zam zam water which FJ failed to inform us that apparently, Saudi does not grant Canadians umrah visas anymore, and zam zam can only be brought back with umrah visas. However, on the plane we met tons of Canadians who were able to bring back zam zam because their travel agent fought for them and did not sit down until each of their customers had their 5L zam zam bottle.

Negative experience: A miscommunication from there agent cost me more than $500 in multiple baggage fees. I showed them communication with the agent where I had confirmed the baggage policy multiple times as proof. They acknowledged their mistake, and promised to reimburse however after weeks of following up they denied any such communication and were very rude.

Negative experience: If I can give them minus I will zero after sales services I will never recommend anyone to buy from fj travel Yes you know me we bought 7 tickets from you and I want 1 child and 1 adult tickets to be extended you guys quoted me around 2200$ but I did it directly from airline in 1000$ so you guys were charging me 1200$ extra I think now you know me who I am

Negative experience: I bought 4 tickets from FJ travel agency but I got an emergency so I'm not able to take a flight I told them weeks before to cancel my seat and they charge cancellation fee $600 each person more than other agency travel they charged service fee only 50$ not like 300$ extra I called the Pia they charge cancellation fee only $300 but FJ travel they charge $600 double then Pia is lost 600 each person we bought a ticket it's cost me too much for cancellation If you want to buy the ticket please go and KK travel there are really good price and they give you a good price for the ticket and cancellation they're not charge for extra I recommend FJ travel do not go there they charge you too much money for the cancellation fee I already report to travel agency who provide the license I hopefully they will get that information to FJ travel

Fantastic experience: I just returned after my Umrah/Pakistan trip with my family using FJ travel package and it was wonderful experience at every step. Thanks to FJ travel highly professional team for providing great support and to be available and responding of my queries at different stages of this trip as I needed. I was hesitant in selecting the travel agency as this was my first Umrah, found some of well known travel agencies as not reliable after few discussions/phone conversations as they kept changing pricing for same package and were not sure about hotel names etc but FJ travel provided me all details what I was looking for prior to book the package. FJ travel modified travel dates as I requested and offered unbeatable pricing. Hotels and ziyarat bus trips were awesome. FJ travel's local agent team in Saudia (Hafiz Sanaullah team), was highly professional and available at every step, picked up on time from Jeddah airport , welcomed us on hotel gate and took us to reception for check in, this was great support as we are tired of travelling and at new place first time, Ziayarat was arranged in private bus trip with scholars to share more details about the locations we visited. FJ travel was with us as well whenever I needed them via whatsapp text messaging. Highly recommended

Negative experience: As a sister travelling alone felt disorganized and misinformed. The umra was not led by an imam, simply received hotel and flight booking that could have been done on your own. Was charged for a double room but placed in quadruple with no compensation.

Everything was excellent the hotels and the tour guide, in 7 days umrah we had a great time. Specially thanks to Mr. Sanaullah Hafiz a tour guide, he is an excellent and helpful person, he made all the possible efforts to take care of us. we appreciate. we really enjoyed the company. The only thing I request FJ Travels to be more specific and clear about their prices this was the only concern I had and i hope this issue to be improved. Overall it was a wonderful experience I highly recommend it. Once agian thenk to FJ Travels for their efforts to make our trip comfortable and enjoyable..... Jazak Allah Khair.

Negative experience: FJ Travels &Tours cancellation charges are $550 on each PIA ticket Toronto to Islamabad for my 3 tickets they are asking $1650 to cancel even still 30days from flight so,please Beware of FJ travel & tours scam ,Just information for everyone and if you want to make date changes $150 each adult & $100 for child plus fare difference plus plus and plus ........list goes On......think 100 times b4 you book a flight

Negative experience: You don’t deserve a star ..fj travel is full of lies and scam… when my flight got cancel and I asked for the refund they told me you have to wait 4 months for the refund after 5 months when I asked them for the refund again they told me they don’t have a refund and they can’t do anything for me .. they got the refund and kept it for them self …… worst place to buy ticket is from fj travel .. they are all nice and sweet at first but once you buy it then see how they change .. you can keep me refund now :)

Negative experience: The owner Javed is extremely rude and there is no sense of professionalism. Does not take the time to clarify anything and hung up on us twice. Extremely unprofessional.
