Negative experience: Kapil took advantage of a very sad situation. He charged me a surplus of 20% of my overly expensive one way ticket I had to purchase to go to my dad’s funeral. There is a time to make profit but this wasn’t. I asked him for a refund of $512 he over charged me but he wouldn’t. Please book your seat directly instead of going through these greedy travel agencies. Reply to GABA’s response: Not only are you guys crooks, but you’re also heartless. I can’t believe you said I tried to use my dad’s funeral as an excuse. You couldn’t find a return ticket with Air India initially, so I had to use a different airline and book a one way ticket. As you knew very well, my return had to be on the same flight as my mom, which was already booked with Air India. My Dad’s death was a shock to us and my mom was in no shape to travel on her own. Expedia was offering the same price and I booked with you, because you said you could get our seats together. You didn’t even bother to respond to my messages. In the end, I had to pay an extra $70 to book our seats together. So much for you working after hours. Just to be clear, I didn’t ask you to work outside your hours. I was in India and as you know there is a time difference. I do want my $512 refunded to me, which is the amount you overcharged me. You never mentioned the service fee on top of the ticket price and made it seem that the total amount was just the cost of the one way ticket. It’s very low and unprofessional to accuse me of using my dad’s death as an excuse.
Hello Tarpinder, We looked into your booking. as far as we remember, Kapil was available to book your ticket during non office hours around 10'o clock night time, when you confirmed it. You were getting more price everywhere else and he found lower fare for you. You checked everywhere before confirming it with Kapil. You and the other point of contact talked to Kapil day and night during his personal hours as well for almost 10 days. Please do not provide wrong information here. Also you were advised by Kapil to buy a return ticket when you went to India because that was less price at the time, but you chose not to. We do not understand even after finding the lower price than everywhere else you checked for days and even after advising you ways to save your money, and helping you during non office hours (day and night for days), you post this review. Nobody do that these days and we know that because we do this on daily basis. Also, we would like to mention here that you were travelling back to Canada which was almost a month after the funeral you went to attend. It is very misleading to use the funeral excuse here on this specific matter. Which is very saddening on its own. Ms Tarpinder, In Response to your reply, just to mention this one last time. Kapil was there to help you day and night. Even if you were on the other side of the world, service during non-office hours is a favor a customer can ask for. And you get that service non-stop for 10 days. We are not gonna stop helping people in need just because you misused that favor. The fare we gave you does includes base fare, taxes and agency service fee. We always charge what we offer the customers and in your case you were given lowest of all you checked around. And only after you confirmed, we went ahead with the payment. Did we charge you extra for what we offered you, we would have given you refund for the overcharge. We charged you what we offered you. YOU WERE NOT OVERCHARGED. The ticket cost airlines much less and yet you have to pay higher prices because of taxes and and fee. Should airline start giving us ticket for free or it cost us nothing to pay our business expenses, there would have been no problem at all. Some customer buy the same tickets for $1000 and some buy the same for $2k, Its same seat and same class. Everybody should be asking refunds for that. We just want to say that we do not regret helping you with finding you lowest prices when you needed help. We do not regret being available to you when you needed help. We do feel bad for the feedback we get even after doing everything we could.

Kapil ji has booked the flights, asked our meal preference, allotted the seats as well. They take your preferences and give the best you ask for. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

They made using our Visa points so easy and got us a baby bassinet for the flights and booked our vegetarian meals. They took care of everything - we literally didn't have to do anything. Kapil really needs to learn how to provide customer service if manage is like that what kind of training is being provided to staff he will tell you that he will call you back but will never do . Are owners really sleeping that they don’t even check how there staff is running business. My mom went during Covid 6 months back and she just came back now . … before she was leaving she got her pcr test done day before her flight and we were really concerned that it was ok for her to fly but these guys told us that mom should change her date so we were so much confused that we went to YVR to air Canada desk to check that it was ok for mom to fly after talking to air Canada desk we were relieved that mom can travel but these guys (Gaba travel )are just sitting to make money … very disappointing. Then if there is long weekend there is no one to help you so if we have any questions where are we going ? I will never ever send any of my relatives or friends to this place but for sure I am sharing our worst experience with everyone for sure Gaba travel learn how to do business first .

Negative experience: Very bad service and non professional staff. Initially they said $255 for ticket and after that they charged me $300 from my card. They sent me ticket after 5 hours of visiting the store and confirmed random seat. I am travelling with baby amd now not listining to me. Simple advise is that don't trust on Gaba travels. Positive comments are totally fake and they don't know how to speak with customers.
Sir, just to clarify for the record. you were informed about the price and even in your receipt that you signed it says $300. Even for the seating you were informed before hand. We do not understand why would you think otherwise when it was clearly mentioned and informed.
