Fantastic experience: I spoke with Catherine Mitford about a discrepancy on my end. She was patient and very accommodating. She listened to the issue, and had it resolved within minutes. I am grateful for her efficiency and her patience.
Negative experience: What a joke of an experience with them. Initiated a conversation on Oct 31 about getting pricing for a corporate travel for 29 people. Didn’t get any quotes until December 13. And even then, our discussion and requirements were for a trip to Cancun, the quotes we got were for Punta Cana which was not in the discussions or plan. Took over a month almost month and a half to provide quote and even those didn’t match our requirements. Much better alternatives for travel agencies. Don’t waste your time here.
Negative experience: Would give less than a 1 if I could. Misleading website, zero customer service. First time trying this company and it will be the last!! Will go back to using Expedia for our yearly vacations. Have never had any issues with them!
Negative experience: This company stops caring about you the moment they take your payment. iTravel2000's policies are dreadful, and their representatives act as if they’re proud of it. You’re far better off using sites with a lowest price guarantee or companies that truly value their customers.
Fantastic experience: We have been using iTravel2000 for a few years now (for Vacation Packages and Cruises), and I have been dealing with the same Travel Agent at iTravel2000 for all our Vacation planning (expect for Cruises as that is a separate department) for Mexico, Cuba, etc... He has always been extremely helpful and defintely goes the extra mile in Customer Service with us. Always refer family and friends to the Rep we use at iTravel2000. Different Reps, different experiences, however I stick to the same Travel Agent Rep, and never have any issues.

Negative experience: Worst customer service! I’ve been booking with itravel for the last 15 years. But will be taking my business elsewhere. Unwilling to help at all costs. I had multiple agents hang up the phone on me and my wife. Had a flight booked to Florida to take my children to Disney but hurricane Milton was headed right for it. All of Florida is under a state of emergency and a mandatory evacuation so we decided to postpone. I asked multiple times to speak to a manager and was denied by 3 different people. I’m out the money for my flight now. There are multiple flight advisories to Florida during our travel dates and they told me the only way to get a refund was for me to get on my flight instead of cancelling. Joke of a company!
Negative experience: I have used itravel2000 many times but always for cheap trips around $1000. I made the mistake booking a $10,000 family vacation to Costa Rica by calling itravel2000 and booking through them. If you haven’t booked with them don’t!!! The agents can not answer any of your questions. I asked for the number to call to upgrade flight seats and was told to google it! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there are none by eleena. Every name was spelt incorrectly on the initial booking. This is the worst experience and most stressful vacation I have ever booked! To add to this just tried upgrading our seats with AirCanada and they said they can’t because the trip I paid in full for over a month ago still has not been paid!!!
Positive experience: I have used this site to book our vacations for many years and have found that it always has the cheapest rates. I like that it shows you the dates with the lowest prices and provides options for different airlines and flight times. I also like how easy the site is to navigate. Itravel also lets you earn petro points when booking a vacation. I have never used this site to book a flight only So can’t comment to that, but I recommend using the site for to book all incluisve vacations. We just booked our next vacation.
Fantastic experience: The website had a few issues but customer service was great. I dealt with two different employees. One of them did an incredible job, but the other wasn't willing to help and told me to call back during the hours they were closed. I ended up calling back and spoke to the first employee. Had a manager call me back the next day to make sure everything was fine.
Negative experience: I booked a vacation I was to get free room upgrade been on phone for over 1 hr they say no such promotion exist even though sent screenshot of their website with the promotion then said that can't make changes because travelling less than 7 days away. I booked july 31 so that gave you enough time to make the change

Negative experience: This company has worse salespeople. Once your payment is done they do not care about you anymore. Raybia who booked our package to Cuba is never there when we had an emergency with one of the passengers being admitted to the ER. I called in to cancel for that person. And now they are making it difficult to help to get a refund from The credit card company. I will never use that company again nor recommend anyone. There customer service representative has no idea of what they are doing. Plain and simple do not use I travel 2000 you will have regrets. I was also refused to speak to a manager. I will escalate to their head office. Raybia also never return anyone’s call. I’m so disappointed in their service.

Negative experience: I recently booked a trip to Cayo Santa Maria. Initially when I called I spoke with Allana and asked her opinion on some of the resorts. I also questioned some of the concerns I had read, to which she assured me to be untrue and one of her recommendations was Cayo Santa Maria Sanctuary Grand Memories, which I booked. This occurred on the Sunday with the Friday as my departure date. Tuesday I left her a message to say I had not received my insurance documents or invoice, no reply. Called again and was able to secure the invoice and was instructed to email her and the agent would also email her. Still no reply. Called again and agent tried to access insurance but was unsuccessful and told me to give her till noon next day and if I didn't hear from her to call her partner. She still never bothered to call and I reached out to the partner. He was most helpful and I got the document. Her recommendation was completely off base and my concerns were correct. But, furthermore she is not professional and I would steer clear of ever booking with her. I should not have had to make multiple calls, waiting on hold, correcting my wrong email to get my paperwork. I deserve an apology. I have used this company for many years and never had any issues until her. I will reconsider using itravel in the future.
Negative experience: Buyer beware! A lot of resorts are charging a resort fee of 20USD per traveller per night. This is not disclosed until after booking when edocs are sent you and it’s in fine print. Itravel2000 needs to disclose this when booking on their site.

Negative experience: I've been a client of itravel2000 since 2015, as I am a Petro Canada Member. I had no issue during those years, they take care issues and were always apologetic and deals with issues right away.. I kept on using my points card because of itravel2000, even when when Petro Canada is no longer with CIBC. I booked a flight last June 2023 for a long haul flight again with my son for Feb 5, 2024 this year... this Saturday coming. Then came Sept. 2023, few months after June, an agent Dylan Kumar called me for a schedule changed, some changes for my son's and some for me, from 2weeks that I originally booked, he changed it to 3wks. I didn't argue at all and just accepted it. He emailed me the confirmed itenerary afterwards. I had to ask my boss an extra week and it was so stressful. I thought it was already ok, this coming Saturday is our flight. I received an email from the airline stating the original schedule for 2 wks only! I got mad,& stressed out! I already made my schedules, my boss changed our schedules, our salary has been fixed, everything is now messed up! I talked to them, spent the whole day going back & forth, but agent Jake told me that I had to pay extra $700.00 for changing the flight , because it was a glitch...which I didn't ask from Dylan Kumar. Jake offered other days cheaper...$500 plus! Still I am paying for the extra that I didn't make a mistake with. I offered paying the half of $700.00 even if it wasn't my mistake...and still they didn't want, they kept on saying it is airline policy. I talked with their supervisor just now, he was saying same thing & I told him that his employee is telling me that they're just humans, they make mistakes too... I get that, but at least call me right away in Sept when he noticed the glitch, before sending me the itenerary in Sept or even after when he noticed it... just call me right away and I will understand! All I can say will be, "send me the correct info..." But nobody called until today...my flight is this Saturday already. I will report this to BBB, Complaints Board, then sue them when I get back here after my vacation. What a terrible experience they gave me this time... never again use them and I will close Petro Canada Card, I will just move to RBC for my gas points. I am so disappointed with those new group of employees that Canadian companies are hiring. I am not prejudice...but this group I never trust ever in any business here in Canada, they don't accept their mistakes and will never meet in the middle with their clients. Negative experience: This is not my first time getting my vacation ticket from itravel2000, and I had good experiences with them. BUT, this time I got very disappointed:( Right after I booked my vacation, due to some personal matters I had to cancel my vacation (I also wanted to change it to a different location and time), although clearly they mention on their policy that cancelling the flight or package is possible with $50 penalty in less that 24 hrs, I couldn't cancel my vacation because they said I’ll be charged 50% of my whole ticket fee plus $100 penalty!!!!! Seriously
Negative experience: Be careful to save yourself from frustration and stress. Purchased a trip to Cayo Coco, trough Itravel2000-Red Tag agent. Itravel2000 Agent was very kind, I have to say. I learned it was Hola Travel deal. Few days before the trip, we are receiving information we need to pay increased price, since there was glitch in the system! Original price cannot be honored! Now, they are asking us to pay almost double! What a scam! Agency is playing tricks on us! Imagine the inconvenience! You arranged vacation, reschedule your appointments, and agency tells you, if you want to travel you need to pay double now. I believe the whole issue comes from Hola Travel. However, Itravel2000 has to know this kind of issues are affecting their reputation regardless/since package was purchased through them.
Negative experience: Never buy your vacation package from them, first, They sell all the packages which they get from Sunwing more expensive to you cause they need to cover expenses and what horrible services they provide, Let me share my first and last awful experience with you, We bought our group package from them and received and checked out the itinerary in which all of our spelling names were correct but when we wanted to check in at the airport I found out my wife's spelling was wrong on the flight ticket and they didn't let my wife get her passing board then we have to do some process which is cost $230 to make it the right and it was so close to missing our flight when I asked them for at least reimbursement of our expense that we paid for their agent fault, they didn't pay and also never give us our package discount

Negative experience: Avoid this company when booking flights. Purchased a flight to Houston from Toronto for my father but when we went to check in at the airport/online Itravel2000 did not actually reserve a ticket on the flight for my father for his allotted flight time, with United and had to get help from United themselves for a flight on Air Canada at a different time. Huge red flag for a company that would take money for a ticket and not even purchase the ticket for the flight. Listen to the others who left reviews and just book through the airline (where you will probably find a better price). Edit Flight home was not reserved either so Itravel2000 did not do their jobs. Has been over 24 hours after contacting them and they have not contacted me after sending it to their higher ups. United had to do all the work and get my father on later flights. Avoid this place like the plague as this will happen to you.
Negative experience: Even when they are responsible for mistakes they take zero responsibility or help in any way. They will just give you the run around. It's easier to book online and if something happens keep all your messages and receipts and go to small claims. You will not get resolution from this company.
Negative experience: Made a mistake by booking with this agency. The selling point was that I could have used Petro Points to pay for part of a purchase. The agent used, Manal, allegedly made a mistake and out of points the agency took only half was redeemed. Now it is almost impossible to get the money back. I guess the case needs to get through small claims court. Very bad customer service. Stay away. If you have Petro Points - use them elsewhere.
Negative experience: I and my family have booked all our vacations with Itravel for over ten years and I have had great experience until I needed help from customer service. Booking directly with Westjet Aircanada is the best option, and it is cheaper in the long run. We needed to have a room upgrade and were told on the phone that they could not help us. I decided to write to them as the wait time was unacceptable. I wrote to them two weeks after we had booked our vacation, and five weeks before my vacation was due to start. NO REPLY. I now know for sure if you book with Westjet you get a better room as standard but I was prepared to pay for an upgrade. STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE I will not be using Itravel again.
Negative experience: I've been use this for years, now, it's the worse booking experience ever. if you book from their website, be very very careful, the amount and date might different from your expectation, especially if your session take a bit long, if the confirmation email is different from what you are willing to book, even you call them in next second, they will say it's your fault, even a typo on name or anything, they want to charge your extra "management fee". it is in the fine print. so, once you click the agree the term and usage of the website, they have you hooked. very hard to make the call went through, and even so, they only interest on charge fee on update or tell you if you cancel, they will charge 50% by click a buy button even you don't have any service or anything within few hours. to to avoid this agent, book directly from the service provider. like sunwing, same price and much better service.

Fantastic experience: I have booked a couple of vacations through iTravel2000, and now have a 3rd trip booked for February. I have been very pleased and impressed with the travel so far hence the reason I have booked again. That said, the primary reason I'm writing this review is to convey how pleased and impressed I was with a recent interaction with a customer service rep at iTravel2000. Elissa Cohen was friendly and courteous, but it was her extra effort to go above and beyond in getting me some info I needed to book my seats and get my aeroplan # added to the vacation. She promised to get the info and call me back within the hour...she did that and more. She also shared her extension number so I could connect with her directly should I need further help. I ended up calling back one more time and she was again very friendly and helpful. If all the iTravel2000 CSRs are like Elissa, the company has a lot to be proud of because customer service is becoming a lost art in today's world!
Negative experience: Simply awful company to deal with. Was given a $1250 gift card to itravel. Despite advertising gift cards on their site, you can't actually redeem them. There's nowhere in the transaction to redeem, and so we've called.... repeatedly. Each time it takes 30-50 minutes for someone to answer, and about 50% of the time the call gets disconnected and you have to start over. We were told we had to book through itravel and pay upfront with a credit card and then we'd be reimbursed by emailing our details. What kind of gift card is this? Regardless, we followed instructions, and now we seem to be out that cash because despite following protocol, our emails are unanswered and every time we call we have to start the process over again with a new call centre agent. They also booked our car rental for the wrong airport despite our written instructions, so we sat at the airport instead of on the beach while they took 2 hours to resolve it (40 min wait time, they hung up, another 40 min wait time... then the actual problem solving). Like I know mistakes happen, but we've been trying to use this gift card for a year! Edit: It's been over a month since I initially wrote this, and my review remains unchanged. We still do not have our funds. We told them we'd have to go to Ontario Consumer Protection and still nothing was done.
Fantastic experience: Anita K. should teach customer service. My husband & I have a beach vacation booked with Red Tag. It was first scheduled for 7 days. At the time of booking I purchased travel insurance for the duration. However, the dates were extended and we now were needing the policy dates amended/extended. After hours on hold Anita answered and through a brief conversation and a couple of emails. She was friendly, considerate and truly kind. iTravel and Red Tag are quite lucky to have such a fantastic employee. (Dundas St. Toronto location I believe)

Negative experience: After 5 days of waiting and giving all the details to their agent, she managed to destroy our travel plans, she kept saying have to wait and etc, meanwhile I kept asking her to charge the money since we had a big group of 20 people, she kept saying it takes 5 days. Today she came back and said the quote is no longer available and we either change the date or go another resort. Sad thing is from day one I kept saying lock the deal as rates and availability will change, she kept saying this process takes 5 days, please be patient, What a waste of time and energy. Negative experience: Omg great, great website, great deals. But holy, made a mistake on our reservation and tried to call them to make the adjustment. We called when they opened and it has been 1 hr 30 min and still waiting. Maybe hire more people or do something but people have jobs and lives and can't sit on hold so long for a simple question.
Negative experience: I have used ITravel2000 many times over the years but have just used it for the Las time ever! I went on to book a trip to Vegas….On a budget. I originally considered ParisParis but saw that for about 50 dollars more I could stay at the Linq. I have never stayed there so decided to give it a try. It fit my requirements which was center of the strip and reasonably priced and flying Westjet the flight times were great for me. I made my selection and was pleased when a banner came up that said my package had dropped from 653 pp to 608 pp. I double checked the information (taking pictures along the way(as I always do) and when it came to the final page, I agreed to pay 1217. And clicked confirm. I immediately looked at my confirmation that was sent and see that it says Park MGM as my hotel. I called immediately and when I got someone on my the phone, I explained what happened and the lady told me that it must have been a corrupt link and it was only then that I found out my card had been charged almost 1500. The lady said she would look into it and get back to me. I actually felt pretty confident that it would get worked out. It didn’t take long to recieve a phone call back telling me they believe it was my error and that they can change it but it will cost me 100 dollars. I questioned her. I pointed out there must be a way to see exactly what I did and then would see it wasn’t my mistake. As well, I only agreed to pay 1200, not 1500. But she just told me it was my fault and when I asked what my options were she told me I had to pay the 100—no choice. So rather than pay, I am unhappily keeping the reservation the way it was changed. Staying at a hotel that I have no idea where it is. But I will never give Itravel 2000 another Penny of my money and I hope anyone who reads this will stay far far away from them.

Negative experience: I attempted to book flights this morning. I was having an issue with my credit card and needed to use their etransfer payment of method (because they don’t accept visa debit cards). I sent the etransfer as soon as we got off the phone because they told me sometimes there can be a delay of a few hours. They were willing to hold the tickets until 5pm to give plenty of time for them to receive the etransfer on their end. Later in the afternoon, I received an email from the agent verifying the email address I used for the etransfer because they hadn’t received it. The address she sent me in the afternoon was different than the one she had sent in the morning (there was a dash in the one email). I asked her if it would make a difference. I never received an answer. At 5pm, she emailed me to tell me they were no longer holding the tickets. Within 5 mins I had booked tickets through another agency using their visa debit option. I wasted a whole day and had lots of stress from it. I will no longer be using itravel to book my vacations moving forward.

Negative experience: this place is unreal, i havebeen holding for over 1 hour and i am number 1 on the cue for over 1 Hour, the only reason I am trying to get a hold of them as I booked a vacation Sunwing cancelled the flight and I have to re arrange my vacation, the problem is Sunwing has my money and the only person able to change or credit my original form of payment is my travel agent and I cannot get a hold of him left it 3 messages and no return call, Would I book with these actors so called travel agency again? not really.
Negative experience: I have booked countless flights and vacations over the yeas and I never had a problem until I recently booked a trip to Italy. There was conflicting information on their website about COVID restrictions, and when I tried calling on 4 separate occasions, not one agent could answer any questions and kept telling me to look online. I finally researched enough on my own and booked my entire family. When you book your vacation, all of your taxes and charges are supposed to be included. Imagine my surprise upon checkout, that I still had to pay a city tax of $4/person/per night. No where on the booking page is this mentioned at all, and when I returned to Canada and I inquired further, I was told this is a customary tax and that I agreed to it in the fine print of my receipt. Several hundred euros later, I checked out of the hotel. Now I have no problem paying for these types of charges, but I want to be aware of them. I read every inch of the booking page, and these city tax details are not listed anywhere. Nobody reads that teeny, tiny fine print on any contract. So if this is such a customer fee, it should be listed on the booking page. itravel2000 has lost my business. I really don't appreciate these bait and switch tactics.

Negative experience: Unbelievable, after spending 1 hour and 15 minutes on hold, the pricing changed $200 per person for last minute booking(2 weeks in advance) I had a couple of questions as its a destination that we haven't been before. Not a devastating issue except that the price was the same for 3 days. Unfortunately, the booking agent wasn't the easiest to understand, except stating "you should have booked online " I'm old school to a degree, I actually like speaking to an actual person. Don't get me wrong, I have no issues with technology, however I feel sometimes I need a few more details. This was the most pathetic waste of MY time!! If you offer human contact, then at least assist! Itravel2000 you have lost your way. Extremely disappointed!
Negative experience: We have booked with them before and had a great experience booking a Mexican vacation. We were skeptical not using an in-person travel agency but on a friend's recommendation, we tried them and were very happy. Recently, we used them to book a hotel in the US (we're in Canada) and didn't have as good of an experience. Booking online was fine until it came time to pay. The payment area showed the amount in US and Canadian. I called customer service to determine how it would appear on my credit card; in US or Canadian. I was told Canadian so that is the card I used. (I didn't want to be hit with the foreign exchange fee and would have used my US credit card if it was a US charge.) Unfortunately, when the charge came, it was in US along with the extra fee. I called back and was told that I could cancel the reservation and then re-book it but "is it really worth the hassle?" Ha! There wouldn't have been a hassle if they gave me the right answer in the first place. There was no offer to assist in anyway. Not the end of the world, just disappointing that they had one question to answer and got it wrong and then made no effort to fix it.
Fantastic experience: I am sending you this email to ensure that you are aware of the superior level of service we had received yesterday from Anita. We had an emergency issue with our upcoming vacation scheduled for Monday. My brother-in-law had just come down with COVID and we were looking to rebook our vacation. Anita and I spent over 3 and a half hours on the phone Friday afternoon. Apparently, West Jet is not the easiest organization to deal with. It went from , we were less than the 3 day window for cancellation / rebooking and therefore out of luck, to Anita arguing for and receiving an exception to the rule and was able to rebook our vacation. She notified us that the booking had been changed and asked me if we needed anything else. I mentioned we would like to have the same cancellation insurance as last time. Anita went back to West Jet and they informed her that it could not be done unless she cancelled the booking and changing the value into West Jet dollars and a 15 day wait to rebook. Anita was not satisfied with that answer and once again, argued on our behalf. She then notified us that West Jet had allowed her to include the insurance without having to cancel and rebook. Anita was also able to change the dates for travelers insurance for me and my wife. This is a long way of expressing our appreciation to Anita for doing an extraordinary job on our behalf. Your company is in good shape with employees like Anita Anita, once again THANK YOU.
Negative experience: SCAM ALERT: Cancelled my booking and not honouring the original price. The money was taken out of my account 3 times only to be returned and for them to say book again with the new pricing. NEVER BOOK WITH THEM! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
Positive experience: SEETARAM SHETTY and Silvana What fine individuals. After 2 years and at least a dozen different changes. These travel agents were NEVER rude always calm and made sure we received the best service possible. Started off booking a decent hotel mid range price. Sunwing changes our departure city from Hamilton to Toronto so we received some good upgrades. Sunwing then told us that the hotel we booked didn’t open till the day after we arrived. Our agent came back to us with some great options. One of them was an upgrade in hotel. So now we are booked at what seems to be the second highest rated hotel on the island. Personally I will probably go directly through Sunwing next time just because our agent was always the middle man. We had to wait quite a while to get answers from Sunwing then through our agent to us. But our overall experience with itravel was pretty good. Would recommend.
Negative experience: We have been dealing with Itravel2000 for a while and we have had good and horrible experiences. I had to leave this review as this time was beyond horrible. Dealing with Mia Gonzales, she gave us nothing but headchahes and nightmares. She treated a group of people differently and she came up with numerous excuses, such as emails ended up in spam (We have been comunicating for a decade!), and the hear and say, etc. We found no work ethics, no integrity, what she is good at is taking her company's side and throw the customers under the bus. A few pieces of advice, get everything in writing, read all the little Ts and Cs. Do not trust her and do not take her words. Leave a way out and have it in writing, she is there to make money for itravel200, and she does not care about customers.
Negative experience: Booked through itravel for a trip in January. Started to see that Covid was going to last longer and the site we planned to attend was not all open. Called in November to see about canceling. Dan told us we would get the elite seating through Sunwing back in a voucher as long as we cancelled 30 days prior. and no other fees. Called back at the beginning of December and Anita told us that not only do we not get a voucher they were going to Charge was $150 per person for sunwing to cancel and $56.50 from them. Explained that in no way I would be paying that as I was told otherwise and given we were 45 days out I should be getting a voucher. She then stated she was wrong and Sunwing was not going to charge us and then had to argue and she stated that they also were not going to charge us but lost everything we put down. Will never use again.
Negative experience: I never leave reviews but this was just such rude and horrible customer service that I had to let people know. I have worked in customer service so I understand it can be frustrating, but being blatantly rude to someone just isn’t ok. I had a family member who was not able to go on the trip that we had planned. We called them and let them know a couple of weeks in advance and our travel agent Trisha was getting upset at us. We we’re getting very close to the departure date and Trisha had stopped answering our calls. We then decided to talk to other travel agents in hopes that they would be able to help us. They all kept saying they couldn’t because “Trisha would know your file better” or “talk to Trisha” soon the date for the trip arrived and my family member wasn’t able to go. During the drip we had tried contacting Trisha several times and still no reply. Once I had gotten back from the trip we called other travel agents again in hopes of someone being able to help us. They all replied angrily saying “you couldn’t have found someone else to help you earlier ? Trisha isn’t the only travel agent” at this moment we feel as though we are being passed around agent from agent with no real answers or solutions to our problems. We have tried to get help before during and after the trip but everyone was avoiding our questions and telling us to call back. Would never take a trip with travel2000 again, and if anyone asks me about my trip I will let them know how unreliable, unhelpful, and rude their travel agents are.
Negative experience: I have been their customer for over 10 years; but their customer service level has significantly declined. I booked a flight through them a few days ago and my credit card has been charged, but I have not received a confirmation, which used to be issued immediately. I have been calling them in the last few days and each time (after being on hold for hours), talked to someone different who could not even find my records, answer my question or escalate the issue. As of right now, I still don't have a confirmation or an itinerary! I have filed a complaint with TICO and will never ever use this company.
Fantastic experience: UPDATE Emailed few days ago about a very important matter and called and left messages to no response for days. However Bella supervisor took care of my issue and I am so greatful. They are back in the good books.
Negative experience: Not a type who would give bad feedback to any business. But this time I have to lay out the facts. Worst customer service I've experienced !! The agent asked me to pay for tickets and provided false info on my wife's travel restrictions. She was refused to travel at the airport after i took time off from work , paid for tickets, cab to airport, etc. After that they all denied all the conversations I had with them. No one was approachable after the scam. When asked around I was told about their scams from friends and other people as well. They are well known scammers in the Toronto region.
Fantastic experience: Called in today frantic cause I couldn't find my flight that I booked. No need cause Raj came to my rescue and made sense of everything. Negative experience: The worst experience with an agent called Gilles He was rude and creating rules on his own. He refused to issue itinerary unless I pay in full immediately which is not the case with regular people. I asked to speak with some one else and he was answering the same despite being standing in front of the passport canada officer and she asked him personally to accept the application and she explained to him that they receive this routinely with every applicant daily. He pretended that he will try to do something then he hung up. I have been using itravel2000 for many years and I only see decline in their service. I won’t deal with them any more and I don’t recommend this agency to any one who wants decent and reliable service .

Negative experience: My family have been a loyal customer to itravel2000 for many years. Never had any issue that I can remember. This wasn’t case with my last booking. It was a flight tickets from LAX to YYZ on Jan.06, 2021. I booked flight late afternoon on Dec.31, 2020. As many times before I used the same Visa card with my name on it. Booking went thru ok, no warning or error with Visa payment. I got e-mail with confirmation number and saying I will get also tickets and rest from the Airliner within 24 hours. Tomorrow I went to Delta web to check is it my booking there and it was there with “confirmed” note. Because I still didn’t receive any e-mail with tickets I went to Delta web again and my booking wasn’t there anymore. Dec.31, Jan. 01, Jan.02, Jan.03, Jan.04 and Jan.05 nobody contacted me from itravel2000 to tell that something is not right with my booking. We wanted to go back to Canada before a new PCR test request takes place. I had to book a new flight now directly with Delta. Price for the same flight I booked on 31st went up 4x and wasn’t available. I had a hard time to find any flight with reasonable price and that was on Jan.04.2021 instead of Jan.06. Itravel2000 left me with no support for 4+ days. There was no way to contact anybody anyhow. They are on holidays and nobody was working. I tried to get itravel2000 to pay me at least $90 CAD for difference I paid in the ticket price with new booking. After 3-4 emails they said that I put wrong info for my name on Visa. How I could put my own name incorrectly?! How come there was not error with Visa payment process? Itravel2000 showed an unprofessionalism, no understanding no respect and no support to me as a customer. My family will never, ever book anything, anymore with Itravel2000.
Negative experience: This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I didn't get any kind of recommendations or advice when booking my vacation. The agent I dealt with misspelled two names on the bookings. When I noticed this I told her in an email. She said that she would fix it and everything would be fine. It wasn't fixed and when I tried to check in with Sunwing at the airport in Toronto there were big issues as the names didn't match the passports. It took about TWO stressful hourS to have the problem corrected. Once in Cuba the vacation resort was a complete disaster due to restaurant closings plus 75% of the pool and recreation facilities were closed for the duration of our stay. I've contacted our booking agent at itravel and was told that Sunwing would be contacted about the resort issues. I have heard nothing since then and now no one will return my emails. I've contacted a lawyer to deal with Sunwing now I guess I will have to name itravel in the claim as well.............

Told daily I will get my tickets and nothing. Ask for escalation and nothing happens Promised call backs don’t happen!

Negative experience: Worst company ever, trust me people do not buy tickets through Itravel. I purchased a ticket to Mexico on 8/28 to Mexico for 12/22. The flight was changed and no one at itravel found the need to let me know. They said they sent one email on 11/20. I got to the airport yesterday only to find out my flight left 4 hrs prior. Itravel is not taking any responsibility, I was told to purchase an a one way flight for $1500.00, I refused. Today I was told there is not they can do for me because I missed my flight. I also lost $1,000.00 on hotel because no one at itravel would help or send an email. I only had 2 days vacation all year, I saved all my little money to pay for this 10 days vacation only to be stuck here in the cold and lost all my money. Please becareful booking with itravel, book with the airlines, you will get better protection and service. The online manager was rude and was saying to me if it was my first time traveling. They are not taking any responsibility for their mess up.
Negative experience: They are really terrible when it comes to returning your calls! I had booked my vacation to cancun and leaving in two days! I was suppose to have edoc sent to me but nothing. My statement had wrong information written on it and need confirmation but no one would get back to me. I had to find my etickets and confirm with sunwing on my own. The purpose of booking through an agency is to have things done for you and done right. If any issues arise, the agency is there to help you but NOT itravel! This is my first and probably last time with them!
Negative experience: We booked our reservation over the phone with itravel2000 and 5 days later our credit card information was shared with someone else and a vacation was booked for a value of over $4000. I have been calling itravel2000 so many times for an explanation and they keep saying someone will call me back. The manager has yet not returned my calls. BE VERY CAREFUL when sharing your bank information with them.
Negative experience: My partner and I were super excited because we had found a hot deal. The next day I got a call saying the booking didn't go through because of a credit card error. When I called back to rebook the vacation (there was no error with my credit card info) I was told that it didn't go through because there was a price change ($800 difference!) and that we had to pay the new price. When my boyfriend later called back to see if they would honour the original booking, we were given a third excuse - that Aircanada Vacations didn't actually offer that specific room package (I double checked their website and it was there on both itravel2000 and air canada vacations...) The call representatives were very unhelpful and just beat around the bush trying to push other packages that we didn't want.
Negative experience: I bought a ticket, and I booked the wrong return date by mistake. Immediately after booking I noticed my mistake and I gave them a call, as did my wife at the same time. EVEN with 2 phones, there was still no answer from customer service. I wrote them an email the same day and they only replied 2 days later. Everyone makes mistakes, so I'd assume a big company like this would have answered me within the hour of booking my flight to at least try to help me fix my mistake. Now I'm stuck paying over $200 extra and an email that was no help to me. (Also notice how in the picture it says to contact them immediately yet they don't answer immediately anyways)
Negative experience: Poor communication They don't answer the phone unless it's about making a sale. Heaven forbid if you have trouble and you already paid them. They don't answer their emails either. Finally, you get a live voice and it's like talking to someone who has no idea what they are doing and cannot answer your question. Booked 3 all-inclusive holidays with them this year and the last one will be my last booking. Be VERY careful booking with this company.
Negative experience: Booked a flight yesterday (sunday) then this morning had an email asking to call them. Then they could not honor price we booked at and it had gone up $200 ! We could have booked direct with airline and now we have to try all over again and trying to get a deal somewhere else. They did not care and we will not be dealing with them again.
Negative experience: Be very careful when booking with this travel agency. I had some family emergencies occur to me weeks before my vacation and this company refused to refund me any money. I had to go through my credit card company to get the money back but itravel2000 didn't want to help me out at all considering my circumstances. As a result, I'm never going to use these guys again. BUYER BEWARE.
Fantastic experience: I have used iTravel2000 for at least 10 years to get the lowest price anywhere on my package deals to the Caribbean. Nobody can touch their service or prices. The website filters help me find the exact right trip to suit my family's needs. Top marks!
Negative experience: We have used iTravel for our last 3 Vacation packages, We have always had price protection on our trips. On our second Vacation booked with them (Air Canada Vacations), we received an email and were told the package was less and they gave me a refund of $130. This year we have some friends that are now booking to go to the same place to meet up with us. As they were booking and I was on the phone with them, they advised me that it was cheaper than what we had booked. So I searched online myself and find that it's $240 cheaper now than when I booked a month ago (WestJet Vacations). I called customer service... I was told I'm not eligible because they were running a "Promo" when I booked for the chance to win a $5000 travel credit. Why would I rebook with someone who didn't have price protection guarantee?? It's the same price for the trip through WestJet vacations (Same carrier as our first trip)... But I book through this company to have a Guarantee... yet I am out of luck. Never again are we going to use iTravel. I suggest you book through one of the MANY other sites that ALL have price Guarantees!!!
Negative experience: we booked travel from Mwxico city to Leon MX with itravel2000. a week later the airline moved the departure time forward 4 hrs to a time we cant make. I have called itravel and emailed every day for 6 days. no one has contacted me about alternative flight options. they are completely unresponsive about this schedule change. their customer service is non existant.
Negative experience: this company is so horrible i booked an airline ticket through them and due to a medical emergency i had to cancel I am eligible to cancel minus the penalty it is more than a month and these people have still not submitted my cancellation to air canada here are the excuses they gave oh today our systems are down next day a specific department needs to do the refund processing when i asked for manager phone number they are not allowed to give manager phone number many times i was on hold for 40 mins to speak to someone and then i got disonnected each person say we will send an email I am waiting please be aware before you book anything with this company
Fantastic experience: This was my first time booking with itravel2000 and Sunwing Vacations and from the initial contact with Rita S (who took care of all the reservations and quickly responded to all my emails prior to leaving) to returning from Varadero, Cuba our entire experience was incredible. The direct flights (which for me is a great selling point) were on time and had no issues, flight staff were all professional, courteous, kind, and provided excellent service on both direct flights from Calgary, AB. to Varadero and back. The resort was older but super clean and bug / insect free, staff were beyond kind and entertainer coordinators ensured there were activities to participate in if we wanted. They all went out of their way to make our vacation memorable. Our day trip booked to go into Havana was worth every penny and the guide was flexible allowing a few of us extra time to stay in Old Havana to explore and take pictures. I know I will be returning to Cuba not only once but many times in the future and I will not hesitate to contact Rita for all my travel arrangements! Thank you itravel2000 and Sunwing Vacations!
Negative experience: Out of five stars I can see that zero stars isn't an option. It should be. This company "provides us with convenient deals" they say, I don't see that. We purchased tickets with this company two months ago to Dominican Republic today we were supposed fly to our "luxury vacation" . The flight was at 8:15am so we had to wake up pretty early. When we got to the airport they informed us that the flight was delayed for 7 hours. We didn't get an email about this. We have called the company and they didn't provide us with ANY compensation. We paid an insane amount of money for this trip. WE ARE LOOSING A WHOLE DAY OF OUR TRIP. DO NOT BOOK WITH Itravel2000 OR SUNWING. They wanted to give us compensation of $100 to use on our next purchase with this company, when we could have bought a cheaper flight that took off at 3pm so that we would leave the hotel at 3pm on the last day. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! NEVER AGAIN.

Negative experience: Site is ok so 2 stars. Have booked with them 4 times and always the staff are not helpful no knowledge about their products. Will even talk down to you or hang up if they don't have the information you require. Most agents dosnt even want to a make a sale so don't bother calling to get support about your next vacation. Also notice their distribution of fake reviews.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with car rental booking, the price advertised on the rental page does not include other charges which the car rental company will charge you at the destination. The terms and condition of each car supplier company is not included in the final price from Itravel and it was very misleading. I did not get much support from customer support of itravel.
