Negative experience: Je n’ai jamais vu un service si mauvais que ça … ne réservez jamais avec Hopper Les billets étaient initialement à 675$ CAD, j’ai payé 750$ CAD, j’avais gelé le prix à 94$ CAD, dont ils ne veulent plus me rembourser alors que le prix a augmenté et que soit disant ils couvrent la différence … c’est du vol!

Negative experience: I purchased cancel for any reason thinking it was cancel for any reason and instead they are refusing to pay back money until after investigation and want proof. That is illegal and not in line with what the policy says at all.

Negative experience: Absolutely garbage experience. Their customer service won’t help you. And actively canceled my listing without authorization. If they respond to this message it is going to be a copy and paste just like all the other 1 star reviews. Recommending to call the customer service line and they’ll open an investigation. But when they do open an investigation they will not have any case or reference number and your transcriptions are non viewable by you. I just had a 2 hour back and forth where I caught them lie to me multiple times. And when escalated to management. She made a fraudulent case and name to make sure it doesn’t track back to her. What a waste of a company that use to be good.

Negative experience: This is the worst customer service experience of my life. I paid extra for the "Premium disruption assistance." One of my connecting flights was canceled, and I received an email from the airline, with no further information. When I contacted Hopper (only the chat was available, you can NEVER talk to someone), I was told that only the flight number had changed and that everything was OK. I asked for email confirmation. I received nothing. When I tried to board the plane, I was not allowed to. The Premium service did not actually improve the quality of customer service. I was told that what I had been told in the chat the day before by one of their colleagues was false, but that it was my fault!!! I requested a refund within the mandatory time frame with the Premium insurance. When I asked 3 days later about the status of my request, I was told that I was out of time, that I had not specified that my refund request was associated with my "Premium" insurance... It's nonsense. It's a scam, the prices are never lower, and if you have a problem, Hopper disappears.

Negative experience: The platform is great and a great idea. Their 3rd world customer call centers are an absolute nightmare and total trash. I spent hours yesterday trying to resolve an issue, which they told me they'd email me after 8 calls, asking for multiple managers, and an agent in the US or a home office which no success. Hopper, if you review this, provide me a home office phone number or email, not from a none home office call center. Otherwise, you are not taking care of the problem. If this is not resolved in the next 24 hours, I'll be reporting Hopper to the BBB, as I have credits/money that I'm not being allowed to use.

Negative experience: Never ever buy a ticket through hopper. If a flight gets cancelled, you will get a refund option via email and then you have to call every week and wait in line for hours to hear the same story!! Absolutely terrible customer service and zero help. Never again! Paid my price.

Positive experience: I still think their Customer Service is way too difficult to reach, but I was able to arrange something with the carrier for my Dad, who paid for a connecting flight through Hopper that didn't actually exist on Volaris airlines (operating under Frontier, according to the booking).

Negative experience: DO NOT WASTE your time and money on this insurance,my advise.My flight was cancelled, they did not offer me any substitute flights as mentioned . Evantually I recieved my refund from air Canada and just paid Hopper for nothing.When I asked my $210 back (there fee for doing nothing) as I could not rebook since my flight was cancelled (so they are meaningless unless they rebook since its not up to me now) and they did nothing unlike they should- they refused to refund me my fee for their useless service due to their exclusion on 6B. DO NOT WASTE your time and money on this insurance,my advise.

Negative experience: Dont book! Terrible, misleading and selling airline tickets that do not stipulate what you are buying in terms of baggage. I purchased a airline ticket with them via their app, and to my surprise when I went to update my details with the airline, I was informed my trip to North America, did not include checked in or carryon baggage. To purchase it would be $900 more. No where on the Hopper app when purchasing this international ticket did it tell me this. It is impossible to contact Hopper, you need to pay $70 for VIP status to just chat with them. Seriously? I am an international client and mobile phone costs are high, you are put on wait for ages then Hopper disconnects you. You do not have the option of cancelling within 24hrs like most. What type of customer service is this? Who travels internationally with no check in or luggage during winter? I can see Customs having a field day with travellers. I went through Facebook to get them to contact me, I have had 8 generated AI responses, all the same response, 'reply with 2 days' when you do, it just generates the exact same email with a different AI person. I have not received a Human response, nor a resolution from them or any of the AI emails, it just goes in circles. My flight is fast approaching. They claim to be a global company, but surely need to vastly improve Customer Service and reveal what they are selling to their customers. Consumer Law needs to look into Hopper App, surely this must be in breach of consumer rights in telling their customer exactly what they are purchasing, like most aggregators and OTAs.

My experience has been nothing short of a travesty, and I am compelled to share it in no uncertain terms to warn others. Hopper, you failed me from the very beginning. Air Canada canceled my flight, a situation that can happen to anyone. However, your ineptitude in handling this situation has been a slap in the face to customer service. I contacted Air Canada on June 8th, and they promptly assured me that they would process a refund. But here's where Hopper's disgraceful saga truly unfolds. Despite Air Canada confirming that they refunded you on June 22nd, I have yet to see a single penny returned to my account. Hopper, your customer service is a disgrace. Every time I call, it's like speaking to a different company entirely. You feed me one excuse after another, consistently shifting the blame to Air Canada and providing me with contradictory timelines for my refund. Your utter lack of transparency and accountability is nothing short of infuriating. It has been over three months, and I still don't have my refund. Hopper, your blatant disregard for my hard-earned money is an affront to decency. You've left me high and dry, and I can only describe your conduct as shameless. Potential travelers, I implore you to steer clear of Hopper unless you enjoy being swindled, deceived, and manipulated. My money remains in Hopper's clutches, and I hope this review serves as a loud and clear message: Hopper, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Negative experience: I continually get small charges of $1.61 and have not used the app in months. my card is no longer registered to the hopper account and I am still receiving these charges. I have had to report fraud and shut down my card. You cannot reach anyone on the phone, it puts you through a long recording in english and french about letting them contact you from the app and then hangs up.

Negative experience: Numéro de réservation H-B53ZD5B5GR. Très mauvais service. J'ai communiqué avec Shara D, qui m'a confirmé que mon vol était annulé étant donné le changement de vol. Elle m'a dit que j'aurai un remboursement. Elle a échangé avec moi deux ou trois courriels. Finalement, elle a arrêté de me répondre sans vraie réponses et malgré plusieurs courriels que j'ai envoyés en demandant de me rembourser mon argent (le retour), je n'ai toujours pas eu de réponse. Ce n'est pas la première fois que ça m'arrive. Un événement similaire m'est arrivé lors de la COVID et j'ai pensé qu'à cause de la pandémie le service était médiocre. Finalement, je me rends compte que le service n'est vraiment pas bon. Je ne prendrai plus jamais des vols de cette application, qui est injoignable. Si je pouvais donner 0 étoiles, je le ferais.

Negative experience: Usually fly threw them expected me to take a two hour flight that turned into a 12 hour layover then 24 canceled my trip because I was going for 4 days, gave me a credit now getting flack for having to use the same yucky airlines. I have now contacted the better business bureau. It's should be such a Hassle. deactivating my account after this. Not worth the hassle. Just think of all the free miles and money they have gotten from all of us. STAY FAR AWAY

Negative experience: Splashed out on a 2 bed suite and when I got to the hotel only had a standard room for me. Inconveniently the Hopper confirmation email did not specify the room type (just "1 room") and so I was unable to prove to the hotel that I booked a 2 bed suite. Then I find out you can't call Hopper! No phone number and no email! What an absolutely terrible idea this app is - if I was Capital One or other investors I would be dumping this stock ASAP

Send out several emails throughout the last 2 weeks never got a response used the freeze price option and got charge twice once for the freeze 252$ and once for 730$ For the actual ticket. On top of that they charge 45$ For a live chat What kind of company is that. Take that few dollar of saving and book through a real travel company

Negative experience: NEVER GONNA USE THIS APP AGAIN! Zero consumer service. I booked a flight with them and for some reason, I had to cancel my booking, and I got a quote from the app, and they sent me an email saying we are happy your ticket is qualified to get future credit for the value of the ticket, and it recommended to check the policy with the airline as well. I called Delta and they confirmed I would receive credit equal to the full price of my tickets. So, I proceeded with cancelation via the app, but they gave me just $15 instead of $130! The worse part is there is no one in the support team to talk to! They ask you to pay $15 if you wanna talk with a live agent!!! If not, the only way of contact is via email and you have to wait hours/days to get a response from someone from India! Long story short, after sending out more than 10 emails and wasting my time with 5 different agents, they did not accept to refund of the credit! I asked several times to talk to a manager, but they did not care. 100% a scam company

Negative experience: 1 star, but I’m giving ZERO. PLEASE NEVER BOOK WITH THEM. Complete scam company. Absolutely no customer service. Something important came up on our side and we had to cancel our flight. We canceled within 24h, which is THE LAW TO GET FULL REFUND. We confirmed with the airline that we were allowed our full refund and they confirmed (multiple times) but Hopper was the one that needed to cancel with them and give us our money back. Unfortunately Hopper never assisted us with that. We exchanged dozens of emails in which they always have a different reason why they would not refund us (none made sense - we were 100000% within our rights).

Negative experience: Good algorithm, pushy selling, questionable business practices I would have given the app better ratings (they do not deserve a 1 star) but for the following: - they try to push you to buy a lot of optional things. Its a click I don't want it on many pages and if that's not enough, the next time you are in the app, you will see them again for your recently booked itinerary - They charge a bogus fee for VIP support which I never authorized. Then I had to spend time to get in touch with them to get $30 taken off which i never authorized SO IN SUMMARY MY POOR REVIEW IS BECAUSE THEIR BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES, GOOD ALGORITHM RUN BY TOO GREEDY FOLKS

Negative experience: This app is a scam. I booked a flight on Hawaiian Airlines through Hopper which I needed to cancel because of Covid symptoms. Hopper's confirmation emails and app both say that any changes must be made through the airline, but when I called the airline, they say any changes must be made through Hopper because the flight was booked through Hopper. Basically, it's an endless loop for Hopper to evade the responsibility of customer service. The worst part of all: there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT phone number or chat feature or email address! There is NO way to contact anybody! Search the app and all you'll see is ridiculous instructions that all lead you to nowhere and back again, never giving you any information! So sure, you may be able to book a flight for a *slightly* discounted rate, but god forbid you need to make changes. Just consider it a donation to these scammers.

Negative experience: This is a ridiculous app! Do not use. I've tried for over 2 days and counting to get ahold of anyone and no luck yet. I rented a car through the hopper app to move across the us to go and take care of my grandmother. Seemed simple enough right? No wrong I'm sitting here still in Colorado trying desperately to get to Ohio, but no one responds to my request I made through the app. I've called the only number I could find and have left voicemails. Save yourself the headache and rent through another service , please and thank you

Negative experience: Reservé y pagué mi estadía en Roma. Llego al hotel y me dicen que no aparece la reservación, ya era de madrugada y no tenia opción. Tuve que pagar para quedarme esa noche con una reservación nueva y me dicen que Hopper me devolvería el dinero, algo que jamás ocurrió. Está claro que solo quieren tu dinero y si tienes un problema ellos se desentienden para no devolverte nada aunque sea su culpa.

Negative experience: I purchased the round trip ticket with an option of fully refundable option, but when I need to change my return flight, I was told it is not refundable. All the changes has to be made before the initial flight including the return flight. They didn't put this requirement at the visible place, and I totally didn't find out until I tried to change my return flight. I cannot find a customer service phone number to call I give it a zero for rating of this company.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE! I was charged by the app for booking a hotel. When I checked out the hotel charged the card I had on file again because Hopper never sent payment over. Could not get in contact with Hopper to resolve the issue so I ended up losing out on $372.

Negative experience: Very sad to say this because I have used this app successfully for price watching in the past with success…but alas booking with them has been a nightmare this time around. I bought a standard economy ticket which ultimately ended up being basic economy when I plugged my confirmation code into the airline app. Biggest concern being refundability in this post-pandemic era. I canceled the first time with the help of acustomer service agent. I was assured that this likely would not be an issue moving forward. In good faith I booked a second time and the same thing happened. Customer service was very slow as I needed quick assistance within a 24 hour time period. They ended up not giving me a full refund which is supposed to happen within a 24 hour period of cancellation and instead gave me “airline credit”. Very disappointed

Negative experience: To speak to a representative is nearly impossible. For some odd reason my daughters last name was spelled right and mind name with spelled incorrectly. I went through the app as was suggested by hopper and went through the airline who sent me back to Hopper to correct the spelling of my name. Horrible horrible horrible I cannot stress that this is not a app or service to be used for your traveling. Will never use again for future traveling Weathers leisure for business.

Negative experience: I have. previously purchased tickets on this app without any problems but yesterday I attempted to purchase a ticket and they charged my credit card but I have no booking I need to travel within the next day or so and I cannot get any answers regarding my booking. Calling them does not help because the telephone number has an automated messege that does not help much. what kind of customer service is this? I would like a refund of my money so I can attempt to purchase another ticket. I doubt I will use them again or recommend them to anyone else

Negative experience: Used the price freeze feature, attempted to redeem discount at agreed price, but price was higher than booking. Attempted to contact support but no response. The time for price freeze redemption expired, and still no response… thinking scam? I read an earlier review. Great for price watching, but never buy tickets from this app. I’m still waiting to hear from someone smh…. I guess I lost my $$ deposit back to Expedia for me

Negative experience: Forget about this app and company not worth it at all. Scam scam scam! Got to the hotel and did not know they required all kinds of extra fees which were not on the website not was this disclosed after purchase. The hotel Candlewood Suites Fort Lauderdale W. State rd. Are rude and the hotel stinks to high heaven.

Negative experience: I wish I’d have read ALL THE REVIEWS before I got involved! I’m amaZed. If shoe where on other foot, so to speak- i Certainly don’t think Canada would allow this from America… respectfully for both - So far, I’m anxiously waiting out my “FREEZE Price” and no one will answer a few questions I have. I hope Hopper doesn’t rip me off! I’ll keep ya posted

Negative experience: Horrible company! I’ve been trying for over a year and a half to contact ANYBODY to get a refund for my trip that was canceled due to Covid. I’m guessing they’re just going to take the money and run. I don’t recommend this site to anyone. Call the airline directly to book a flight. Lesson learned!

Negative experience: Garbage website No customer care They want customer to read 1000 of agreement before saving 5-10 on any deal. I was stupid that I visited to save some bucks which does not make sense after investing hours to find where is customer care . You get only FAQ. No email address Such waste , people don’t waste your time I would say . Such a pathetic company without customer care.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. I paid for a price freeze on airfare for my son n I to travel. When I went to get the fare I paid the freeze, not only was the fare gone, but subsequent attempts at getting a refund were for naught. Buyer beware....

Negative experience: Long story short, our return flight was cancelled and I could not find a way to get a hold of Hopper, because I bought the trip insurance. I've sent two requests and tried to call but when you call it's just a robot telling you to send in a request and they will get back to you. It's been a week, and nothing. I'm very disappointed and frustrated at the lack of availability. Book through the airline, don't use these jokers.

Negative experience: Scammers... My Husband bought his ticket through hopper and I bought mine directly at the airline. After the flight got cancelled because of COVID I got refunded by the airline. The airline says he must get his refund with Hopper, but the inexistant customer service makes it impossibe to do so.

Non seulement le service à la clientère est déficient, mais cela a des conséquences grave sur leurs clients... j'attend un remboursement de leur part depuis 7 mois.
