Negative experience: In all you do don't buy tickets from them. Customer service is bad. They hung up phone in mid conversation. They cancel return flight for a senior and a minor leaving us stranded in a foreign country without any explanation. We had to buy over priced tickets to get home. They are not reliable agency Don't buy from them!

Responses were riddled with typos, lacked the basic courtesy of addressing me by name, and showed zero empathy—even though I was dealing with credit card fraud. There was no follow-up or confirmation about my refund request or canceled booking. I had to initiate contact repeatedly, only to be told—after hours of frustration—that my ticket was non-refundable and I’d need to contact the airline in China myself. The complete lack of professionalism, seriousness, and assistance is appalling. This agency is a scammer’s paradise, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. -1000000/10 stars. Avoid at all costs.
Negative experience: **SCAM ALERT** Booked my flight through Cheapo as I had a deal through my workperks. I got no confirmation and when I finally got an email 5 Hours later, they said my ticket price had gone up and my original fare is no longer available. Price went up by over $300 and they blamed the airline which was offering the price I originally booked for. Told Cheapo to cancel everything and I booked through the airline direct. Don't waste your time. They're out to try and scam you for more money. Also reached out to workperks to see if they can have them removed from their site.

Negative experience: If you are trying to book via Chepoair, you must STOP and read this carefully. I booked a ticket few months ago with Air India using Chepoair. When I tried to cancel, I reached ChepoAir they didn't help me and afterseveral calls they said only Airlines can cancel and Chepoair has nothing to do with cancellation. I reached out to Air India and after several calls they cancelled the ticket. It was told me that the money will be refunded to my credit card automatically. After several weeks I didn’t get the money and when I had to make at least 30 calls to both Air India and Chepoair. Now Chepoair is saying they will charge a huge cancellation fee (in addition to Airlines cancellation fee). After 20 days I don’t know if I will get my money back and if I get any after almost 50-60% cancellation fee when I will get it. Chepoair says I may get after 2 months. I have no other option but to wait. But if you have option, DO NOT use Air India and Chepo Air.

Negative experience: So they get you cheaper flights but up charge everything you can do for $10-$20 less yourself on the direct airline website. They give false information. They do not honour their mistakes they booked me a wrong ticket, said they would act accordingly AFTER my call was reviewed in which they say that takes up to 48hours I been waiting since August 6,2024 today is November 19, 2024. The people that deal with the calls barely speak English so no wonder they don’t understand requests and make so much errors. In some reason I have to rebook the flight it took them 1 week to reply which almost close to my reservation then so I have to cancel it took them 3 days to cancel and lost half of the payment bec of penalty etc.. lesson learned never ever book here
Negative experience: DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THIS IS A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS, or at minimum a borderline criminal SCAM masquerading as legit and legal business. They clearly, intentionally and systematically postpone purchasing the tickets on your behalf to maximize their own revenue potential. BUYER BEWARE. My tickets ended up being 55% percent higher than originally booked. On top of that, they caused me to lose 5 hours of my life to argue with them to either purchase the tickets or cancel it through a total of 15 calls. I could've worked those extra hours and made as much as the tickets. So now it actually cost 3 times the total of the original booking as if I had of just purchased them outright from the airlines. This is the 3rd time this has happened, but this last one was the worst one of them all. So shame on me for forgetting the past experiences I've had. They continuously tell you it's taken care of and they'll call you back, but nothing comes from it. It happened 5 times for me. All while the tickets are increasing in value and every time they check the prices it artificially increases the demand for those specific tickets. Even trying to cancel the tickets I had to talk to 7 different people in different "departments" because the people answering the phone cannot deviate from their respective scripts or their incredibly narrow scope of work. On top of that, their 'chat bot' online tech is about useless and then reverts to putting you in contact with a person that simply uses ready made responses that both don't help or are completely off the mark. Their call centres have people who barely speak english, are clearly working from home in loud environments and with half-functioning and non-standard equipment that varies from bad to terrible and unintelligible.
Negative experience: Cheapoair was ok 3 years ago. My bad not checking recent reviews. The past months’ reviews about the prices changing at the last payment page is true. They tell you to book another flight. Real waste of customers’ time. After you say you need help with luggage, chatbot transfers you to an expert and expert says he needs to transfer me to luggage department. My current booking price is about 30% less than what is published in the airline. I guess that is the price of a better customer service.

Negative experience: I wish I could give them 0 stars. They are the most unreliable and the most unprofessional people on earth. I have been talking to them about my case for a week and every time I have to wait on the phone for 2 hours and repeat the same story to the agent. They promised they would call me and they never did. My mother-in-law visa is expiring in 2 weeks and there are no visa centres working in Beirut now and if I were to book her a new ticket it would be at least 6 times what I paid Cheapoair to screw me up.

They advertise a price , you book it then receive a pending status confirmation. Surprise , after a while you get a second email showing the price increased and if you want to cancel you have to call them…really? After you give all payment information? Save your time and find a legit/serios agency to book a flight. They take advantage of honesty of this people and try to fool them with this scheme.

Terrible customer service. we bought tickets 3 months earlier to be on safe side and almost every week they changed something about the flights and wanted a confirmation, whcih created lots of stress. The worst part was on the flight date at the gate, even though we had the ticket in hand, our name was not on the flight list with the airline! imagine the stress! and we had to pay again and buy ticket right away for the next day as there were commitments to not miss! Negative experience: Pathetic company. We have booking almost $15,000 worth of bookings this month and they didn’t even honouring the rewards points which they have promised. On top of it their customer service is the most pathetic one. I have not encountered any worth customer services than this. Further few of the hostel listings on their website is fake from Europe. We went there and no one opened the door. We were literally stranded on the roads of Belgium. Negative experience: Worst Customer service, I was provided with a flight confirmation that needs a transit visa however the link provided in their confirmation email to check for visa doesn't say so, I ended up being denied from bordering the flight, had to book another flight on the same day for 3X the original price. After my flight, I called asking for compensation or refund for the flight I didn't board, the only answer I got was sorry you booked your flight with no refund policy -_- NOTE: even though the escalation manager admitted the technical issue in the provided link, couldn't provide any compensation or partial refund for the ticket. Negative experience: I had the worst experience yesterday on my trip from El Salvador to Toronto I had a connection on Washington, when I landed there they told me that it was the wrong airport and I had only two hours to get to the other one it was 45 minutes away by car and I had to pickup my luggage only to pick it up took me 4 hours I don't know why I think they lost it or something, so I called the company they didn't give me another flight, so I ended up paying $550 from there to Toronto the first mistake was theirs sending me to the wrong airport from the beginning I didn't get any money back from air Canada or United or a new flight I had to wait 12 hours, for the only flight that I found it was the worst experience I had ever very disappointed.

Negative experience: I had a booking on 11 august and i was checked in and i was declined to get on board. the issue was my name for booking and name on id did not match. if any of the information entered by me was wrong i would have not been able to make it to the gate. My luggage was checked in and the flight was taking off in 20 minutes and they could not even give me back the luggage which was already boarded. i called cheapo air and they declined to help me at the last stop only thing they did were saving my booking from no show and the first lady whom i talked to said it is refundable and air canada will refund but when i called air canada they said you paid the money to cheapo air you have to contact them. They wanted me to buy another ticket and said they will try to merge the cancelled with the new booking but your money cannot be guaranteed. the whole time they wanted to put everything on air canada whereas my booking was through cheapo air and the app autofilled my wrong name. My name on the documents is Hasaan ayyaz On the app it was my old name hasaan rana which they used to book trips without any consent or asking me to continue the booking with follow name. The only time I was asked for my name was by checking in, how you guys can use a name on an app or an email name to make the booking so if you have a gaming name on your pc for eg they will automatically use that instead of making a proper booking and the guy on air canada told it is not the first time cheapoair has done it. My parents made a simple mistake of buying the ultra basic economy class instead of pressing economy flex or economy and I called in 3 hrs after booking they were wanting $105 to cancel I had beg on behalf of my parents as they already spent alot so they said after $55 to cancel which I decided to pay to just get out of the problem at checkout the economy class was $49 dollars extra per person only and to change the class after cheapoair wanted $280 on top of what was already paid which is crazy. Well lesson learned never use 3rd party sellers. Even if tickets are cheaper it ends up costing way more if problems arises with 3rd party I hope this review will help those who need to make a decision about cheapoair....

I booked my recent flight with them in June 2024, and from the beginning there were massive communication issues. First of all, the customer service is located in India, so they are outsourcing the Canadian department to people who will transfer you 100 times to avoid dealing with an issue. I had a call centre agent SLEEPING ON THE PHONE with me, and when I asked if he was sleeping, he hung up on me immediately. if an issue is dealt with, it is only because of how angry you get after being transferred so many times and demanding to speak with a manager or supervisor. There was also a massive issue with communication with the airline, as CheapOair denied any fault in providing an accommodated flight after my westJet flight was cancelled. WestJet told me they sent CheapOair 6 emails notifying them they needed to change my flight. I was stuck in another country for 6 says, paying out of pocket expenses, when I could have been out the second day. This was the worst travel experience I have ever went through, and it was because of this company.

Negative experience: Used to book on this site all the time. Never will again. Booked my tickets April 13, 2024. They ended up saying flight didn’t exist. I have no flight, I’m out the ticket prices of close to $3,000 and additional random charges they charged me, totalling an additional $500 dollars. They have made zero attempt to book me a new flight or reimburse me. All my calls and emails have ended with them saying they can’t do anything or to “give them more time.” Stay away folks.

Negative experience: Booked my flight to Germany with CheapOair Canada, and it turned into a nightmare: 1st I was charged for an infant ticket that, according to Air Canada, wasn’t even necessary. 2nd I booked meals through CheapOair’s website, but Air Canada had no record of any of them. This included kids' meals and a vegetarian option for my wife. The incompetence and miscommunication were unacceptable. I will never book with CheapOair again.

Negative experience: I have previously dealt with Cheapoair on various occasions and in the past, my experience had been positive. I had helpful travel advisors and whenever unexpected changes occurred I could change my travel times and dates without any problems. But my most recent experience was terrible and particularly unpleasant causing a lot of stress and anxiety. I was supposed to fly to see a friend for her wedding and had bought my tickets through the website. I called the agent prior to that only to be told that there are better deals on the site than they could offer and was left to figure everything out on my own. I bought travel insurance, just in case something unexpected comes up so that I could make any changes needed, as before, thinking it would be hassle free, only to find out subsequently that they refused to make the necessary changes and caused me to miss the flight, had to cancel the trip and now am going through the lengthy claim process with the insurer, hoping they will reimburse me or apply the credit to another future flight. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. I had to call multiple times, be placed on hold for long periods of time and eventually, after asking for my case to be escalated to a manager, I was able to address my concern, unsatisfactorily. I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service. It is below par. And I will also only fly with KLM and Air France because they provide the best quality and level of service that is unparalleled by Air Canada and United Airlines.

They didn't provide the Critical info about ticket and they told me it is not our responsibility to provide it. My experience: I have booked a flight with them and I had to cancel due to a security issue which was not my fault at all and every body was canceling their flight at no cost. They charged me 250 dollars for canceling the flight plus 300 airline fee ( its normal). For any changes to your flight they will also charge another 250 dollars. Negative experience: They were gonna refund me after 1 billing cycle, now after 48 days, they say that the money is gonna be refunded after 2 billing cycle. It's the last time I book a ticket from Cheapoair.
Negative experience: A total fraud company … they book your ticket and if anything happens never return you money …. I am waiting from last 4 years for my $5000 … they would make you wait and when its more than 6 months you have nothing in your hands … they have a special model designed which will make you run after airlines and them …. Secondly I bought their flight interruption insurance … thats another fraud … flight interruption insurance told me what flight was canceled … so it never happened so does not come under insurance …. Book from direct airline bankrupt these fraudsters

Negative experience: I have been a regular customer since 2 years and had collected travel points. The Cheapoair clubmile points is a total waste as it cannot be used for simple thing like paying for your extra baggage. Earlier at least they had the option to buy gift cards which is now removed under the new policy. I don't recommend anyone to buy tickets looking at cheapoair's marketing gimmick of earning clubmile points 2x, or 3x times.
Negative experience: Absolute worst customer service from a call center. Their agent "Warren" started shouting and screaming at me over the phone and proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back and reported what occurred to a supervisor, she just downplayed the whole situation. Absolutely unacceptable. Call center is clearly in India.
Negative experience: Worst place to book . If it’s cancelled for any reason say goodbye to your money. They will say you have credit but charge you Double saying that’s what the fees are and won’t let you use the prices you see in the website. Anyone will say they are supervisor and will keep hanging up the phone one you multiple times. Have been on the phone with them for 24 hours still no resolution or refund. They say there is no head office number so will transfer you to a different agent each time. Unprofessional, DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
Negative experience: Hello I had the worst experience with ever. I booked a flight and canceled it in less than 24 hours and they refused to refund me even with a charge. And the scamming began.They issued an airline credit that I couldn't use twice because they asked more expensive fees much more than the cost of the flight. Finally, I managed to book a flight double the price and extra fees , they booked it two separate tickets. Then I was stuck with weather delay for 2 days. The airline was ready to give me full refund but since company refused to refund or even settle for change in return ticket without extra fees with already doubled price fare they could not access refund for return ticket. Then, after 4 hours of waiting on the line ,the supervisor claimed its my fault that I didn't notice the last sentence that say they booking is based on 2 separate tickets . Negative experience: Cheapoair made an error with the first airline of my itinerary, resulting in non-confirmed flights. I advised them 4 days prior to the trip that there was a problem, they would not address it, and kept assuring me "everything is fine, your flights are confirmed". At the airport on the day of travel, Westjet turned us away (as expected), saying the flights were not booked properly with the airline. Cheapoair assured me I would get a refund, however 15 days later I am still waiting for a resolution, and they are still blaming the airline. The airline suggested this booking agency over-sells seats on purpose, and this is a chronic problem with booking agencies. I will only book directly with the airline going forward.

Negative experience: SCAM!!! DO NOT BOOK WITH CHEAPOAIR. I purchased my tickets and after one week they change my flight schedule for after 2 days. I called them they kept me on hold for 4 hours, literally 4 hours transferring me from one agent to another, and when I asked for refund they were not giving it to me after 4 hours they agreed because it was the airlines fault. On top of that they say I will get my refund in 1 or 2 months.they have no authority over airlines and they make us pay them. this caused me high blood pressure.Alert! Please stay away from this scam agency. Do not use CHEAPOAIR .
Negative experience: My spouse and I booked round trip tickets to South America, and are bitterly dissappointed. If we had purchased the cheapest flights, we would have expected bumps along the way. We purchased the most expensive options, purchased all the top tier upgrades. Long story, short? We contacted Cheapoair to file a complaint only to receive a less then satisfactory cookie cutter email response, and not as much as a call from them. The guy working at customer service said, “I will make sure that you dont get that price” You’ll go and book tickets and the first thing you’ll think you got a confirmation only to see your tickets will be pending with reference number. They’ll request you to get a verification done and you wont be able to reach them even after 1 hour and request for a call back. THEY DONT CALL BACK. WHEN YOU FINALLY CONTACT THEM, THEY HANG YOU UP AND LIE SAYING YOU’LL get the ticket in 24 hours to only get another email that the price has been increased. like the photo below. NEVER TRUSTING THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE AND WEBSITE SHOULDN’T EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Negative experience: Booked a flight for a European destination from Canada. The airline failed to forward the baggage fee to the airline and did not inform us. We arrived at the airport in Italy only to find out we had to travel to a different terminal to pay the baggage fee in person and then return to the departure terminal. Wrote two emails to the customer service department and never had a reply. Save yourself a lot of trouble and book with the airline directly. Terrible company with zero customer service.
Negative experience: I recently purchased two tickets from this company, but my experience took a turn for the worse. Following the purchase, I received numerous fake emails, and to my dismay, my credit card was charged six times for seat bookings that I did not authorize. Despite multiple calls to their customer service, I have yet to receive a refund. Negative experience: Booked a domestic Canadian flight but when they called for confirmation (after hour) I told them to cancel it for now as I need to double check the dates. I was told no worries, the payment has not gone through, we will cancel it. Someone will call me back.No one did. I saw charges on my CC after 2 hours and called them to inquire. I was told as it's within 24 hours, we will cancel it and you will get a refund in 5-7 Business days. And someone will call me back.No one did. A week after I call, I am told the Airline has given me credit of 30% of the amount I paid. I would have taken the flight if I knew they are charging me this much in cancellation. I never got the itinerary. When I asked to escalate the call, I was told someone will call me. and Yes No one did. They are crooks working to dupe people of their hard earned money. You could have atleast called me to tell me about cancellation charges. I would have taken the stupid flight. The stay and rental car for 4 days would have not cost me more that the Cancellation fees.
Positive experience: These service was great, although I have to admit; the amount for our upcoming trip was a $1694.18 and that was infact agreed upon via email, yet TDVisa text messaged me immediately to make sure I myself was the one who accepted the transaction of ... $1750? ... all in all, CheapOAir ended up charging $56 extra on my card. When I confronted them about this discrepancy on the phone, they excused themselves out of it by saying that it's probably because of the US currency exchange... I can guarantee that $1694 US is not $1750 CAD. Oh well. this is unfortunately the system we live in... live and learn for next time!
Negative experience: The did nothing but try to lie to me and tell me i couldnt cancel my ticket when i clearly booked within the 24 hour cancellation window. The person on the line said i couldnt cancel but online on my bookings, i was able to cancel it through the website. Dont ever use this website.
Negative experience: Spellman Bonnie On Oct 10th my 83 year old mother and myself were at the Ottawa Airport for 7 hours. Cheapo had our layover for only 35 minutes, I was told by the girl at the counter that was a set up to fail flight we missed our flight. We walked around the airport as I begged cheapo to get us hone to Moncton N.B. I told them my mom's medication was already being sent home. They said go to a hotel we will fly out out Oct 13th so now my mom goes 3 days with out mess. Porter was flying to Moncton but they don't deal with Porter so they wouldn't book the flight. So we had to pay $966.88 to get home we already paid them $2330. They would put me on hold for anywhere from 20 minutes to 60 minutes. After we got home everyday I called for my refund and all I got was the run around from these people. It was the most horrible service I have ever delt with, never ever again would I deal with this horrible company, I didn't receive a cent back from them they are happy to take your money leave you at an airport for 7 hours but they just don't care
Negative experience: Wish I would have seen these reviews before trying to deal with cancelling my tickets. I call and was put on hold for what seemed like eternity to cancel my tickets. This was of course long distance as well. Then I had confirmation that they were cancelled from the agent which I confirmed numerous times. He then said I would be getting a callback about the refund amount, which I said I may not be able to answer but at least I confirmed again the tickets were cancelled. Well to my surprise, they were not cancelled and when the day of the flight passed, I had an email from the flight company saying there may be a no-show charge…. So I was furious and contacted Cheapoair. They said they couldn’t cancel because they had to talk to me first about the refund. So now, instead of getting a small refund, I now have no refund thanks to them, and have to possibly pay a no show charge. When I contacted them, they said they listened to the call and the agent didn’t do anything wrong. Which is beyond insane since I waited on the original call until the agent confirmed with me that the tickets were already cancelled. So someone over there is lying. I hope this company goes bankrupt and stops stealing peoples money like a scammer. If I can say anything to finalize this it’s, avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of other better companies that will actually do what they say and not lie to you over the phone. This company is just a bunch of scammers, so stay far away!
Negative experience: You pay practically the same as other airlines. Was sold a ticket with two checked in bags. The airline said one. There was absolutely no assistance, and I had to pay exorbitant fees to check a second bag in. Never again. Should have gone directly through the airline.
Negative experience: These guys are fraud. I am not sure why regulators are not after this company. They cancelled my flight and didn’t initiate full refund. I didn’t even ask for cancellation but wanted them to arrange me a different flight close to the original date. They said there is no flights. How is this even possible!!! Being such a huge company and they are saying not even single flight is available even though by googling flights, I can see hundreds available. Totally disgusting.

Negative experience: The worst agency ever. Date of my departure flight was changed by Lynx airline and I was forced to choose another date. 2 days after, the date of my return flight was changed and I was asked to select a totally different day for my trip which I refused and decided to cancel the trip and buy another ticket from different airlines. Now cheapoair doesn’t try to revive and claimed that I voluntarily changed my departure flight. At this point I asked them not to call me anymore and just contact me via email for new updates, because I am tired of hearing their lies over and over. However, I feel like being stalked by their employees, calling on my phone several times a day. They didn’t just stole my money they are actually harassing me now!
Negative experience: This is very problematic company. They cannot help to refund customers for flights voluntary changed by air company even more one month before departure. Their supervisor avoid to talk to you and never call back like he promised. They gave no information about refund policy of airline company and not advise you about their “tricks”. I do not recommend to use their service.
Negative experience: I bought 2 tickets to Las Vegas and paid for the insurance, Las Vegas is under a cyber attack and I don't feel safe traveling and called to get a refund or a credit to go at a safer time and they told me there is nothing they can do and they don't see anything about a cyber attack going on even though it's all over the news and 100s of videos are going around social media. I came to write a 1 star review for my experience with them but I see that they already have countless 1 star reviews already... the lesson I learned here is, check Google reviews on companies before you do business with them it would actually save you a lot of time and frustration.
