Negative experience: Initially the staff named Jismi screwed up the dates for our parents' flight. When we called back to complain about the same, they never accepted their fault and she won't return our call. After we relentlessly kept trying, their staff Rameez made more promises but didn't fulfill any of them. We went through lot of unnecessary stress and sleepless nights because we trusted these scammers. Our parents also faced hardship during their journey as they failed to keep their promises.

Negative experience: They made many promises, kept none,(especially person named Remeez and also Jismy). One of the worst services I have ever experienced. Because of their unkept promises my old parents struggled through out the journey from kochi to Toronto. PLEASE AVOID THESE SCAMMERS.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful Alaska cruise with Sheila. It was a memorable one and she organized it beautifully. She took responsibility in arranging the tour when we were in Vancouver for few days, the stay and transportation. While on the cruise we had a chance to meet with some great people including Sheila’s family and friends. Sheila suggested the right shore excursion whether it was for the whale watching or for the scenic bus rides.Overall it was a trip of a lifetime.

Negative experience: I normally buy my tickets with skylight with Puja she is very helpful and go the extra mile to find out the best but I spoke to a guy rameez no help from him straight forward NO not available not even trying & when ever you call and leave message never you will get a return call but you have to call back.Based on them we are not that important as a customer.When I called another travel agent what ever he said no can’t get it.I got all the dates I wanted for a much better price.

Negative experience: I spoke to a representative over the phone. It was a last minute booking and so it was urgent. He advised me he would send an itinerary; I waited an hour and received nothing. When I called back, their office was closed. Unreliable service; if you can't fulfill my request, please inform the customer instead of leaving them hanging.

Reading subsequent positive reviews from Trip Advisor, I and my wife decided to contact Meena and Sheela at of Skylight Travel & Tours Inc, Toronto. Mr Suresh Aravindakshan was given this assignment to plan our trip. He has been very informative, knowledgeable and precise. As our personal travels were multi-country and required lot of planning, he was a fantastic help in shaping and organizing our customized tour making sure we could see everything we wanted. Mr Suresh’s expertise professionalism and patience has been meticulously proven accurate. He advised us on best route prices and above all superb in customer care with liaison with his partner agents. We really admire his calmness in dealing with prompt replies as he went out of his way to suggest, tailor our trip and make it happen which was a dream come true going to India for the first time. It was a great experience for us travelling and meeting different people with their way of style and different cultures. We were also looking into Ayurveda treatment for my wife. Due to bus accident and several nerve blocks given to her, the results were bad and doctors gave up on her here in Canada. Mr. Suresh associated us to a Specialist, Dr Jayakhar of Cherai Beach Resorts in Cochin, Kerala who treated her and we have seen some miraculous results in her health. We do not have words enough to thank him for his gratitude and assurance given to us in this matter because of his past experience and knowledge which has helped us and surely will be helpful to others because of his positive attitude of sharing. We would strongly recommend Skylight Travels to anyone who is looking for very helpful and extremely friendly travel agents like Mr. Suresh and his associates, Meena and Sheela. Fantastic experience: Our family was part of the Spain and Portugal tour that Skylight organized. The information session provided by them was very helpful. The tour was well organized, the quality of the food and the accommodations were excellent. Sheela, our tour leader, was very patient and accommodated all the many requests from the tour members. When things did not work out as planned, she calmly and confidently took charge and made sure that tour members were happy with the outcome. Sheela went above and beyond the responsibility of a tour operator, we are looking forward to our next trip with Skylight.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this agency to anyone they lie and sale the tickets to you after whenever you needed help they never will help you in any situation if for some reason you want to change your flight date they asked you to pay them $1200 to 1400 to just change the date unbelievable, very disappointed

Negative experience: I don't recommend this agency to anyone because when I called to change the date of my flight they never helped, they never call you back and they asked me to pay for the whole ticket price again which i paid that when I bought my ticket from them. Negative experience: This is the worst flight booking agency. All their good reviews are from their own people. They lie to you about everything. They told me it would be $1350 for each ticket and when i got there the price instantly changed to $1650. I dont recommend this agency to anyone. THEY WILL SCAM YOU!

Negative experience: Bad experience. Never recommended. I purchased 2 tickets worth $3150 from Skylight and I cancelled it due to changes in my travel plans. I didn't receive any refund even after contacting them for the last 2 months. They claimed that the airline already credited the funds to my credit card. The bank confirmed that there was no credit and asked me to file a dispute. So, I contacted the agency again and after talking to almost all the agents working over there, they promised a call back after checking. Also, they kept repeating that the refund was credited to my credit card and asked me to share my credit card statement with them to verify. When I asked for the evidence of transaction, they told me that they will check with the airline. They came back to me stating that they don't have any evidence of processing the refund. They denied including me in their email communication with the airline by quoting their policies. Finally, they came back to me saying the refund was received in their bank account and e-transferred to my email address. I think some magic has happened that the refund went to their account instead of my credit card account even after saying multiple times that the airline processed the refund to my credit card account a month ago. I was behind this refund exactly from October 31st and finally today at 2 pm on December 29th, I received the refund from their account. I never recommend their service to anyone because I had a very bad experience, I lost many hours talking to them, to the bank, waiting for their response and checking my bank account every time. NEVER RECOMMENDED and I believe that the good reviews here are from their friends and families.

My recent travel experience during the pandemic proved that they are extremely reliable. Amidst of all the travel restrictions and newly determined rules, skylight travels was updated and helped me find an optimal solution to my safe return to Canada.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Skylight Travels through a family referral since many years and they have never disappointed in getting us the best tickets even in emergency situations. My last experience with Pooja was very comfortable and she made sure we got our tickets with the dates we wanted through a lot of searching and finding what fits best for us. She had been very resourceful and helpful with an abundance of patience level and I can’t thank her enough! I asked for a ticket from Pearson to Newark the associate who spoke with me was not ready to share any information other than ticket and rates and moreover he was rude. I don’t understand why the company is a “tours and travels”, you could have just named as “skylight only ticket booking place” . Please educate your associates while running this business. Least recommended place.

I’m currently trying to get a hold of them in order to get the latest details of COVID guidelines and to alter a flight for my parents. Numerous emails and voicemails have been ignored for no reason. Due your research before booking a flight.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service, the person I was dealing with told me that seat selection and everything is included in the fare and I can go ahead and choose the seat after booking the ticket. But that’s not what happened, I had to pay extra for that and they were not even able to help process it for me as it had to be done through the Airline website and it would not accept Canadian dollars. They even fooled me saying they don’t charge any fees for their service and it’s just this ticket charge. They charged my credit card, So basically got a sale by lying. ‘Seat selection is free and they don’t charge any fee for their service’ How can you guys just get away with tricking people like this ? I should’ve checked the lowest review before going with this agency

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience with them. I booked an Emirates ticket through this agency. I called them and asked about the hotel reservation when Emirates changed layover time to 14 hrs. They told me the hotel room has been booked and will get the voucher along with the boarding pass. Nothing happened. During check in Emirates authorities said there is no room booked for this ticket and cannot reserve a stay unless I do it prior to 24 hours. I had to wait for long 14 hrs at Dubai airport due to their carefree work.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service...Don't deal with guys...if you have issues with your travel or need refund, they will wash their hands off.
