Fantastic experience: Great service

Fantastic experience: Booked 3 flights over 5 years for Europe and the U.S. for family trips, Danny was always able to beat anything I found on line. Every thing when smoothly with not problems.

Negative experience: My friend and I had a bad experience with Ari and Skyway Tours and would give them a 0 star rating if we could, for their unprofessional conduct and terrible customer service. My family had been using Skyway Tours for many years with no issues, which is why we went to see Ari to help us plan our trip to Portugal this summer. At our meeting, Ari only discussed flight information and cost with us and said he will get back to us with information on Portugal next day. My friend and I agreed with the flight information and cost Ari quoted, wrote the information down and confirmed it with him before we left. Two days later, each of our credit cards were charged appropriately $300 more for our flights than what Ari had quoted. When we contacted him to ask about this discrepancy, he denied quoting the lower price to us and became very aggressive. A couple of days later our credit cards were charged an additional $45 for service charges! Ari had not mentioned any service charges to us at any point at our meeting. Aside from that, the only service he provided was booking our flights, something we could have easily done ourselves. He did not provide us with any information or bookings in Portugal whatsoever, which is what we went to see him about and needed help with. I phoned Ari and he again became very impatient with me. After our conversation was over the line remained open briefly and I could overhear him making derogatory remarks about my friend and I to another customer! I find this very upsetting and distasteful and a reflection of who we are dealing with. I then contacted Danny, Skyway Tours’ owner to let him know fully what had transpired with Ari and asked that the service charges be reimbursed to us. Danny said he’ll look into it and get back to me. A week went by and I didn’t hear back from Danny, so I called again and again he said he’ll look into it and call me back. He never did. This terrible exchange and experience with Ari and Skyway Tours prompted my friend and I to write a review, in the hopes that it will spare someone else the same bad experience with these individuals and this company.

Fantastic experience: Aris and his team are extraordinary, and have been for I don't even know how long .. over 30 years at least. Always available, walk ins welcome and encouraged for personalized service, and so knowledgeable and accommodating. I would suggest giving them a chance if you never have. They are not only extremely competitive but capable of things you are likely unable to accomplish on your own.

Fantastic experience: Have known and used them for years. They go to many of the resorts in the Caribbean and know the current conditions of hotels etc. Always helpful and fair.

Fantastic experience: Very Experienced up to date with all your concerns, there to help if needed on planning the best travels and best prices on your vacation. Danny always a pleasure to talk too and help in any way possible. My only choice for my trips.

Negative experience: The worst agency ever that I could have encoutered. They literally conned me, they just took my money and convinced me that my flight is secure just like I asked them to me. But both my going home and coming to Toronto was a total disaster. I asked them to put me in a transit flight that has more than 1 hour waiting. And that old guy who thinks that he is clever(!?) said, yeah this is a flight that you ask for. And After I trust them, I find out that he put me in 1 hour waiting time. From Toronto to home, my flight got delayed, and I had to beg for Lufthansa to put me on next flight, thankfully it was on the same day. (I waited 12 hours in the airport). Now I am in my home country, waiting for my flight to Toronto, stuck for more than 24 hours, because my inntial flight was delayed and the next flight is next day.This is unacceptable, never ever never try to get tickets from them, never trust them and stay away from them. Just a friendly advice.

Fantastic experience: I used Skyway Tours for the first time recently after being stressed out trying to plan a complex return trip, trying to manage multiple flights and waiting times with different airlines. The prices for the trip were very high being Christmas. I reached out to Danny, who within hours of my my first message secured me the return trip I was looking for at a third of the price I had found. Danny Is beyond professional at his job, the whole experience with him from start to finish was a testament to why using a professional like him can make your life easier and stress free. I would not use another provider again and couldn't recommend him enough, Thanks Danny, you are the man! Colin

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this company and specifically Danny to anyone. I have an elderly grandmother who we were sending to Greece. As she is unable to travel alone and we were unable to go with her, we spoke to Danny and within a day, he found someone who was travelling and would be willing to go with her. He was extremely professional and handled everything with ease. He made this a significantly less stressful experience for us. During covid, as there are new protocols, he made sure that he walked us through what would happen and communicated regularly when anything changed. I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who wishes to travel. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Good deals speak to aries

Positive experience: We had used Ari's services for a trip to Greece in the past. This year we decided to book with Ari's at Skyway Tours once again since our first dealings with him were positive. My spouse and I requested seats by the window. We were shown the seats chart and were assured of this. What wasn't mentioned was those seats were only for the Germany to Greece 2.5 hour flight. Our initial flight from Canada to Germany for almost 8 hours had us placed in the undesirable middle rows. 50 days after booking & 1 week prior to our departure I went on line to view the aircraft seat chart & discovered this error . Of course we were upset; for all we knew the flight could have been fully booked and we would have been stuck with no seating alternative. What would have happened if I didn't check the seats?! An email was sent to Diane to rectify the seating errors. We received a call back from her informing us our email was rude, the seat changes were done & then promptly hung the phone up on me.!!! Perhaps Ari made an error and there is no blame placed on him; he has always been a gentleman. Unfortunately we can't say the same for Diane today. Perhaps she had an off day & I just happened to be her punching bag.

Negative experience: I had received your company's name as a suggestion from a friend who has used your services before. I was specifically given Aris as a contact person to work with. I first spoke with him on Feb 3, 2015 regarding a honeymoon that we wanted to book. I provided him all of the information and what we wanted to do on the trip and he provided assurances that he would be able to help. He said it would be a quick turn-around; a couple days. A week goes by and I didn't hear anything. I emailed him after the week and didn't get a response. After another week, I called again, and he said that he didn't get my email. I resent it. A couple weeks go by with no response, and then I called. He said he was very busy, but he had completed all of the research for our trip and recited it to me over the phone. He said he wanted to send me all the information and would email it to me for review. After a week of not receiving it, I called him back. He once again recited all of the information that he already completed. Aris said he would email it to me within five minutes of hanging up. Still no email. At this point, I was very frustrated. My fiancé had some free time, so she called this time. She spoke with Aris, who again recited all of the details of our trip. She made it very clear that we wanted to book our trip since others were waiting on some of the specific details for their plans. He said he would email the details so we could review them and book them(we have been ready to book the trip since he first told us about what he found). She repeated to him that we needed the information that day(the same information that he already had), or we would be forced to find someone else to book our trip. I am sure you can probably figure out what happened next. No email. It is very unfortunate since we heard nothing but good reviews and why we reached out. We were hoping to book our honeymoon, but have been met with disappointment over and over again. For over two months. Unacceptable.
