Fantastic experience: I think the above two people must have gone to a different travel agency with the same name. I have dealt with Battlefield and Val exclusively for 13 years. Every year since my kids were 2 and 3 I have taken them away for a week in the winter. Due to Val's extensive knowledge of the Caribbean, Mexico, etc. we have never been steered wrong on our winter holiday. Valerie researches the resorts I'm interested in and has more than once suggested an alternative based on Battlefield's customers and agent's feedback. We have loved every vacation we have taken through Battlefield, and are looking forward to another wonderful trip to Jamaica this December. I have found every staff member at Battlefield to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable - able to answer any question I have if Val is not in the office at the time of my phone call. Courteous, professional, personable and honest. I wouldn't trust my beloved week away with anyone else!

Fantastic experience: I am one of those picky travel people who likes everything 'just so'. Valerie from Battlefield Travel has been our travel planner for many years and always exceeds our expectations. Just today I contacted her to reserve my perfect airline seat for a trip 10 months away. She did so immediately and she did this from her vacation, thousands of miles from the office. How's that for personal service? Outstanding!

Since then we book usually 2 vacations through her per year and she is always very helpful and quick to respond. Fantastic experience: I have been using Battlefield Travel for at least 14 years and my parents trusted Val, at Battlefield for every one of their fantastic and memorable trips. I guess that makes her practically like family and she has planned every single one of our destinations as if she were coming along. Always thorough and ready to answer every question, Val has gone above and beyond to make sure our holiday went without a hitch. When there were glitches, and mostly beyond her control, she went out of her way to fix them. I have trusted Battlefield with my sisterly bonding trip to Florida, my 50th birthday trip, my final cruise with my late father, (Val also took the time to visit my ailing father in the hospital. That is the kind of person she is.) I am currently planning my retirement trip to Hawaii with Battlefield. Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share my AMAZING experience with Valerie McEneny!!! My fiance and I wanted to do a destination wedding. We were referred by my brother and sister-in-law who used Valerie for their destination wedding. We planned to go to Cuba and a month and a half before the wedding....hurricane Irma had other plans for us. Our resort was ruined by the hurricane. Within 24 hours of finding out we could no longer go there, Valerie had other options available to us! Within another 24 hours we are now on our way to Dominican and we didn't have to do anything! Valerie did everything for our 40 person group (and then some) and happily! I can't even imagine the stress that she went through, being a travel agent, dealing with brides, and during disaster! She was calm, positive and extremely helpful! I will continue to use Valerie for travelling and would HIGHLY recommend her and Battlefield Travel to anyone travelling.

Fantastic experience: We have been booking our vacations with Valerie for about 10 years now. Just last month, my husband and I had a vacation booked for Samana in the DR but Hurricane Maria put a stop to that. We had to find a new destination without much time to think about it and Valerie came to the rescue. Within a few hours of her contacting the Vacation Package company about our cancelled trip , she booked us a new vacation to Jamaica that left 2 days later. What a great vacation it was!! Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently booked an all-inclusive trip with Valerie from Battlefield Travel. She was extremely prompt with getting back to us and making sure we had all the information we needed to get us excited for our trip in 2018. This time would count as our third time working with not only Battlefield Travel, but with Valerie, and each time has been absolutely flawless and organized. An overall great experience! We were fortunate enough to book a destination wedding with Valerie in 2011, and then friends of ours used her as well to book their destination wedding in 2015. From the moment we left Toronto to arriving at the resort(s), not 1 complaint could be made. Everything was perfection. It's a simple decision for us, we always book with Battlefield Travel!

Fantastic experience: I have dealt with Battlefield Travel for years for both business and vacations. Valerie has been my agent for over 20 years. She has always treated us very well, made us aware of potential issues and has given great advice. I have recommended her to family and friends who have all been very pleased with her service. I have had issues with carriers unrelated to travel agency functions that Valerie resolved immediately.

Negative experience: lets just say Valerie is a nightmare. we recently booked a medium sized wedding party for an all-inclusive to punta cana. it started with a lack of information that for all the guests. when guests asked her questions she would ignore half of them and give attitude to the others. she explained kick backs to the groom based on amount of guests coming but forgot to mention it only has effect up to a certain amount of guests. thousands of dollars difference. she also had several arguments with guests when she would get their names wrong and and said she was busy and its not a big deal because its only her information. with the already paid guests having their intenirarys not matching their passports. red flags are clearly up. biggest fear was getting to airport and names dont match tickets. she requested 2 double beds for all the guests even though most requested a king. we were told we pick what we want when we get to the resort.. when we arrived at resort they said we could have chose which we wanted but now because valerie pre chose doubles we would need to wait until a king became available. most couples had rooms with 2 doubles. wooo romantic . its like highschool all over again. the amount of stress she caused all the guests was monumental. do yourself a favour and do it yourself through westjet or something. or at the very least avoid out dated services from crabby people. AVOID VALERIE! !!
