Fantastic experience: Jo Coleiro planned our perfect family vacation. As first time traveller's to Asia, we had no clue where to start or what to do. We had two destinations in mind, Japan and Vietnam. After a quick conversation with Jo, she had everything laid out for us. She made everything simple and seamless, it made a nervous traveller feel at ease every step of the way. Jo thought of everything for us, she made it so that we can be on the road without any worries and be stress free. Not only were great options provided for us to choose from, she laid out the pros and cons, thought of every stage and step, from transfers to location and things to do. The trip was planned months in advance, generally, most people will not care once everything was booked - as their job is done. This is not Jo or Travel Our World - Jo stayed connected throughout, she checked in on our progress to ensure we had our travel documents in order, help us with any additional bookings for activities, sent us fun ideas and things to do and if something interesting or better comes up, she will make recommendations and adjust our plans accordingly. Prior to our departure, Jo put together a document package in an app for us, this document was a god send - it had all of our trip information laid out in order, by dates - had the booking confirmations, flight information - it was so organized and it ensure that nothing was missed. The document was updated, if our flight was on time or delayed, it had all the contact information for ease of reference - it was a one stop shop for your trip, no need to fluster with paper documents or searching through emails for a document. I've worked with a lot of travel agents in the past and I can say with certainty that Jo is the best of the best (she turned my stubborn husband from a non-believer of travel agents and just travelling in general into a believer and is already wanting Jo to plan our next trip). We are truly grateful, happy and very appreciative of Jo for helping us plan the perfect family vacation, which was amazing and unforgettable.

Fantastic experience: Jo was an absolute godsend helping me with a booking to bring my Mum up from New Zealand. When one of her flights was cancelled she was able to have her moved to a different airline at no cost. She was also extremely helpful in organizing airport assistance for her all along the journey so she didn't have to navigate connections on her own. I cannot recommend her enough for her professionalism, tenacity, and passion for what she does.

Fantastic experience: Julie was amazing when we booked our trip to Italy. She took care of booking everything, and sent us a really detailed itinerary. She was very knowledgeable about what to book in advance and what could be booked on site, and extremely responsive if I had any questions. Highly recommend Travel Our World for your next trip! Fantastic experience: SAVE YOURSELF TIME ONLINE SEARCHING AND READ BELOW: I’ve had the pleasure of first using Julie’s services in the summer of 2017. A group of 5 friends and I decided on a 3 week adventure to Europe where we would hop from one city to another experiencing a mix of “back-packing” and “luxe living”. Really, we wanted an “EAT, PRAY LOVE” experience but on an “all-inclusive” budget . We had an idea of which cities (9 in total) and countries (3 of them) to visit and we had a realistic budget but we weren’t sure how to best go by it. So we reached out to Julie. Through Julie’s incredible support and skilled itinerary planning, she managed the following: •She laid out a flight plan that worked with all our schedules and that allowed us maximum time in each city. •She located flights that matched what I had seen online and offered insight into better pricing, quality of airlines and services. • She advised on transportation methods to and from airports and our accommodations and for sightseeing. •She provided incredible information of the tours offered in each city, including discounts to take advantage of and which to avoid. •She included museums and galleries to hit, times to hit them (when they’d be less busy) and sites that were off the beaten tourist track to see (that she had experienced on her own travels). •She shared incredible places to drink and eat offering fantastic regional food - providing us a mix of both cheap eats and higher end places for the times we wanted to splurge. •She provided us with a variety of accommodation options - both hotels AND apartment rentals that would benefit us and accommodated our big group effortlessly. •ALL THIS SERVICE FOR FREE. She provided all this at no extra cost to us!!! And with a GREAT positive and patient attitude. Now. If these aren’t enough reasons why you owe yourself her services, the following should be the icing on the cake: •She makes herself available for any q’s or problems you encounter. And In our case it came in handy. One of my friend’s credit card wouldn’t work while in a small town in Italy late one evening. We couldn’t get thru to the number on the back of the card for assistance. Which we needed (as this was the only card my friend brought) we didn’t know what to do and my friend was beginning to freak out. I intuitively called Julie. After she calmed us down SHE called the bank for us as a 3 way call and acted as a mediator getting the bank to fix our card problem!!! I mean...COME ON! Now that’s going ABOVE AND BEYOND. Long post, I know, but well deserved. I could not speak higher of this incredible person and of her professionalism, dedication and passion for the industry and her job. We all have used her services and recommend her to everyone ever since; to book things from weekend getaways out West to all-inclusive resort trips down south and now during this Pandemic for information on all travel related info. (She got my friends back home in March 2020 went things hit the fan - that’s another incredibly story for another review). I am incredibly grateful to have found Travel Our World and more so Julie; I can’t wait to work with you again and plan out my next adventure! Lots of love and success❤️

Fantastic experience: Read this: we had a family large family vacation. My wife at the time did not have her updated permanent residency card. (she is a citizen today) She was not allowed back into Canada without obtaining a temporary travel document. Our daughter was only 5 months old. - We leaned heavily on Julie who, researched how to get documents from Canada to Santo Domingo, to Mexico, back to Santo Domingo, so we can enjoy our 3 week trip with three different resorts, with as little confusion as possible. Imagine doing that all on your own? Nope. Thank you Julie and Travel Our World - oh.. She also booked 8 other people, golf, dinners, resort credits, check-ins for our large family once in a life time trip. Worked on the whole project for well over a month before booking. This is just one example: maybe the bigger example was when she stayed up for 36 hours straight trying AND successfully got my brother and his wife home safe via multiple flights out of the Bahamas when a category 5 hurricane landed there - literally less than 24 hours after they managed to leave - we call this one 'life saving' but, my brother and his wife can tell you about that one

Fantastic experience: Julie Smigadis is one of the most passionate and caring travel agents I have dealt with. You can truly tell she has a passion for the industry she works in and what she does, and always has her eye on what deals are happening. She's a staunch advocate for her clients, I've seen it in normal times and during COVID and I'm truly thankful for all she has done for me. I hope to be able to go on the vacation she rebooked for me, and rebook the one I had to cancel altogether (though she did get me a full refund!) You honestly can't go wrong with her, she'll be there for you when you need her!

Fantastic experience: My family has been booking all our travel with Julie at travel Our world for years. Julie is very knowledgeable about destinations and she takes care of every detail you can need, from flights to tours, car rentals, and so much more. She has even contacting hotels before our arrival with specific requests to make sure everything is set once we arrive. She is hard working and always only a phone call away.
