Fantastic experience: This was the second trip we booked with Stephanie at Downunder. The first was to Australia and Fiji with our kids which was fantastic, so this year when we wanted to travel to New Zealand we used Stephanie at Downunder again. The trip was excellent and the service even better. Our accommodations were just as we wanted with small kitchen facilities, good beds and great access to the activities. The excursion and suggested stops on our road trip were great and some of the best travel experiences through our many travels. Near the end of our trip, I became ill and required a short hospital stay, Stephanie went above and beyond modifying our travel plans and getting us rebooked on short notice to come home. I was really impressed by her attention and care to our situation. I would not hesitate to recommend Downunder. Thanks Stephanie!

Fantastic experience: We are very pleased that Downunder Travel helped us plan our memorable and special first trip to Australia. Ryan understood exactly what we wanted to see and experience and booked our flights, hotels, transfers and small group tours. When we had a medical emergency three days into our trip, the Australia contact was available 24/7 to assist us in altering hotel reservations and tours to enable us to continue our trip. Fantastic experience: Ryan Kennedy was our travel specialist and advisor with Downunder Travel. He did incredible work to give us an unforgettable trip to New Zealand and Australia! He worked with my husband to figure out what we wanted to experience and then worked it into the budget we set out. Ryan was very knowledgeable, professional and honest with our travel concerns and queries. After the package was complete you are sent an itinerary with essential and helpful tips on the weather, trading hours, safe traveling and touring options to name a few. There is a contact person whom works for this company in the place you are traveling so can get timely assistance if you run into any trouble. Would highly recommend Ryan and Downunder travel agency! Finding both were godsent since we really had limited experience but a huge desire to travel to New Zealand and Australia!

Fantastic experience: I must commend Stephanie Delaney for putting together a challenging wonderful itinerary for both my grandson & myself. She chose fun & exciting things to do for my 12 yr old & I. From the amazing Sydney Bridgeclimb (Stephanie chose well-truly the best tour of them all since there are a number of them),to the private bicycle tour,to the choice of the family owned marvellous company going to the Great Barrier Reef & our private marine biologist who just excelled-he enhanced our experience & we were so happy we did that-it was excellence all the way. Seeing the animals indigenous to Australia was a real bonus & he had such a great time amongst them! We loved the hotels too-all well located with stellar customer service. Moreton Island was a phenomenal choice(way to go Stephanie)-what a way to conclude our wonderful adventure-my grandson loved it-from the sand tobogganing,to the segway to the quad bikes (none of which he ever did before) & to our beautiful accommodation at Tangalooma resort-it just couldn't have been better. I'm so glad Stephanie thought of Moreton Island because my 12 yr old got to experience things he never did before. Stephannie worked very hard on this itinerary & she ticks all boxes. Her customer service is frankly the best as well as her attention to detail. A big thank you to Stephanie-I can't say enough

Fantastic experience: Ryan @ Downunder Travel This is why I chose a Travel Agent and why I am glad I did. For 9 years I lived and worked in Sydney. Although I did travel, it was mostly to other major cities in Australia. After arriving back home in 2019 I realised there was so much I had never done. Fast forward to late 2022. I knew I wanted to see a few different places. Uluṟu, Darwin, Adelaide. I started searching for tours and flights and quickly became over burdened with decisions, options and websites changing the prices of flights. I reached out to Downunder Travel with a fairly blank slate. Ryan took the time to speak to me providing options and suggestions. But at the end of the day it was the little things that truly made the trip worth while: - seeing Uluru for Sunset and Sunrise the following day (Ryan’s Suggestion) - the aerial tour of Darwin (Ryan’s Suggestion) - incredible Tour Guides who were knowledgeable and friendly - private car pickup and drop offs from airports > a must I now realise for places I’ve not been before - suggestions of things to do that I would not have thought of ie: Kangaroo Island while in Adelaide, Kings Canon hikes and a Glamping Tent to spend the night while in the “Red Centre” (Ryan’s Suggestion - are you seeing a trend?) Although I am sure I could have done some of this myself with time and research, the reason I am so happy with how this trip went was because I didn’t have to DO anything but show up when and were I was told. Would I use Downunder Travel again? Oh, yes. Will I use a travel agent for my next grand adventure? Oh, definitely yes.

Positive experience: Stephanie was super nice, has travelled to Australia, so knew where we are headed to. Covid rules changing as much as they do made answering some of our questions difficult, but can’t fault anyone for that. Thanks so much for helping us part of our adventure!

Fantastic experience: Ryan made all of our land and air arrangements while touring Australia, including transfers to and from the airports. Everything happened perfectly. During the planning stage, Ryan kept in touch with us, and as things progressed, sought our acceptance of his ideas and plans for each aspect of our trip. We knew what to expect on every leg of our trip. We would most definitely use him and Downunder for our future trips, and recommend him highly.

We were very impressed with Stephanie as well as with the local operators who took over once we were at our destination. They all worked hard to take care of every special detail and even worked with us to arrange and execute many of our special requests at the destination. Thanks so much to Stephanie for working with us on a complicated itinerary with difficult travel requirements (searching for a transit-visa free connection etc.). Fantastic experience: Downunder Travel did a magnificent job planning a wonderful vacation to Iceland and Norway for myself and my extended family. Our group consisted of 7 adults and 2 infants and the logistics of car seats, cribs, and other child friendly needs were easily arranged by Stephanie and her staff. The end of our trip posed some challenges related to Covid but once again Stephanie made all of the alternate arrangements required with rebooking airport transportation and flights so we could return home safely. I was incredibly grateful for the travel assistance! Most importantly, this trip was the fourth time I had booked through Downunder Travel and was once again, a great experience. The selected tours and hotels were top notch and so enjoyable. Couldn't ask for a more professional or helpful travel agency!!

Fantastic experience: Stephanie at Downunder Travel is a knowledgeable destination specialist who gave good advice while arranging our trip to Australia. COVID-19 became a pandemic and interrupted our trip in March 2020. Stephanie kept us up to date and advised us about the constantly changing rules and conditions. She dealt tirelessly with cancellations and re-bookings as the situation evolved. She demonstrated genuine concern and empathy for our well-being. Our safe return home in early April 2020 was secured by her unrelenting effort and helpful advice that she provided during her often extended working hours.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie Delaney, owner of Down Under Travel, provided exceptional service for my group of 11 travelling to Australia and New Zealand in February 2020. She arranged our long haul flights as well as several connecting flights and the accompanying visa requirements. We were due to return to Toronto on March 30 but on March 13 the Covid-19 travel advisory was issued by the Canadian government. Stephanie worked tirelessly over several days with me as group leader to assess the situation and then meet the needs of each traveller in our group. She booked us on the March 20 Air NZ flight from Auckland to Chicago, with a short turnaround to Toronto. She continued to provide the documentation for our travel insurance claims, which are ongoing. I will seek Stephanie’s professional support for my return to New Zealand , hopefully sooner not later! Fantastic experience: I have been working with Stephanie for almost 2 months as we have a very complicated trip to 4 countries over a period of 35 days. To complicate matters, we HAD to end up in a particular place by a certain date in order to attend a family wedding and we had a very strict budget. Not only did Stephanie manage to get all of the details right, she was able to continually find savings for us as we went along in the process, allowing us to finally come in under our budget, including all taxes and travel insurance.
