Negative experience: They don't return calls

Fantastic experience: Faye L. is just fantastic. I haven't met Ross who seems to have alot of positive reviews which is wonderful. Having just dealt with Faye, I can only comment on her. 3 months ago, I was having trouble with my credit card being rejected for no none reasons while trying to book a flight online. Decide to stop here and Faye took me in, inspite of having no appointment. I explained the problem. with the credit card, and immediately she said let's go see what's wrong. About 30 min. later I left with a huge smile. Today 3 mon.later, I returned to adjust the return ticket dates on the tickets I purchased 3 months ago and again took me immediately without an appointment. I used a 3rd party card which she quickly found solution to verify the card. Fantastic gal finding solutions to make us happy. Good job Faye.

Fantastic experience: Lina Silva is great travel agent she was very responsive and helpful on booking a trip for our25 th wedding anniversary. We weren't sure were we wanted to go and she gave us options we could choose from I would recommend Lina to anyone .

Fantastic experience: Rosa goes the limit and beyond !!! She has arranged a couple of river cruises for me and attends to all the details so I dont have to. She is super friendly and helpful in catering to your needs and wishes.

Fantastic experience: We booked with Rosa at the Mcivor mall office. Wonderful service did all the bookings for us ,seat ,baggage and insurance. Looking forward to the trip and highly recommend her to anyone traveling

Negative experience: Very disappointed with Michelle’s customer service. I wanted to add my partner to my room and reached out to Michelle and she said it would take a week or so to add him. Soon as I emailed her asking if I should call to see if there’s room on the plane she immediately responds stating it’s 100% sold out. I called other travel agents to confirm and they Informed me that there was still room on the flight. I also called Air Canada and they can’t touch the file. They explained that Michelle is the only one to make the call to add him on. Michelle wants your business, books your trip then forgets you. We have a large group going out of Winnipeg and she sure took her time charging our cards and sending out invoices. We go every year and she just lost our business. Going with Maratime Travel next time. Keep away from Transat Travel, very bad service. Bye Felicia Update: after submitting my review Michelle immediately responds stating she can add my partner. All she had to do was do an add on. I’ve did it before with other travel agents with previous trips. She goes and cancels my room which was already paid for and I had to pay today’s price which cost us extra $1400 per person. She tried to say I said the sky is the limit. Why would I say that when I don’t have that kind of credit. This woman is never in the office and if she is she always on an emergency fixing her mistakes with her customers. Don’t go to her u less you want to get ripped off!!!

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience here! Showed up no appointment, and Rosa was happy to help us. She helped us plan our trip. Rosa is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to assist at any time of day or night! Rosa is a great lady and would go back there in a heartbeat! Thank you Rosa!!!

Negative experience: My husband and I walked into travel agency to ask for some information, there was 2 ladies there one was Rosa and not sure the other lady’s name. Rosa was with a client, I wanted some information on a trip to Vegas, she refused to help us said she was leaving I knew her from Kildonan place. And she said I’m here for an hour and it’s $42 a person we said ok and all I asked her was when did you start charging to book appointments and then she said look I don’t have time you either book now or come back. She got very rude and started raising her voice. I will not be using them to book an appointment she was so rude to me and my husband.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: When it came down to get serious they blew me off and did not seem interested in helping at all. The experience was terrible and we will never go to them again. So far fantastic, we do not leave or finalize anything for another 3 months but great so far. Update : turns out I was not worth the time to show me options, was told to figure everything what I wanted and they would get me a price, I did that without paying them to get a price. I thought a travel agent did the leg work for you ? unfortunately will not use Transat Travel again.

Fantastic experience: We booked with Michelle in 2021 to travel in 2022 to Mazatlan , due to the restrictions for travel with COVID we decided to cancel and got a travel credit. We decided to rebook our travel plans to the same destination for 2023. Sunwing had some cancelations and changes to flights out of Winnipeg completely out of our control and Michele’s. Within mins Michelle contacted us to let us know of this and had us rebooked on a new destination with same budget. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure our seats were together, no prices changes and made sure my families accommodations would be taken care of. Some things happen that are out of our control but Michelle handled it very professional and made sure we got our vacation.

Fantastic experience: Daniela planned a wonderful trip and did an excellent job as a group escort! A lovely balance of fun and relaxation.

Fantastic experience: We just booked a trip with Rosa Bertone at the Henderson Highway location. Rosa did a fantastic job of putting together our trip. She is concerned about what you need in the trip, thoughtful, courteous and she provides her services in a timely fashion.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Too busy playing on the computer to give good service.

Negative experience: Had to call to make appointment, so we did. Employee on phone said a travel agent was available and we could come to the office. So we did. We walked in and were treated rudely by two travel agents. Didn't know what we were talking about. Accused us of calling caa travel and not them when we called the number posted on their door. It was just a very unprofessional interaction and I would not recommend this place just based off a first impression. I'm native, so that probably had a lot to do with why the agent that wasnt busy didn't want to help us at all. They clearly didn't want us there. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Even the employee on the phone was rude and not helpful.

Negative experience: Tried to get information with a travel agent for Disney, and she never would return my emails calls, she always said she would call me back and never would. Once she put me on hold and then hung up on me. So disappointed because I’ve booked with transat twice and now I don’t think I’ll be going back again.

Negative experience: Never, ever go here! I came in to make a travel inquiry to hopefully book airline tickets to Europe, but flight options for the time we wanted to go were not posted online yet. Michelle then says out loud that she doesn't know why I am here, and that I am a waste of her time. I came back a few months later to book part of a trip within Canada. I knew when and where I was going. Michelle then demanded I pay $100 just for me to book a hotel before she would meet with me. Absolute worst, most rudest customer service manager I have ever dealt with in my life. Never, ever go here please!

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment by phone and went down to see them about arranging a holiday to Europe . They were all very helpful not just the lady I spoke to , everyone added information . I though it was cool that they have actual airline seats ( standard ) and ( wider ) in their office so you can try them to see how they feel and see what you are paying for . It's a small extra fee of $42 per person more than I would pay by booking online... for their help in booking and arranging all the details. We'll worth it !!

Fantastic experience: Daniela at Transat did a great job helping us plan our trip to Europe. She covered flights, hotels, and itineraries. When the airline lost our luggage, Daniela helped us immensely contacting the airline, making new arrangements, and eventually filing our claims. Would highly recommend booking through her!

Positive experience: Was looking for a cheap but nice place for the summer to get away for a couple of weeks and Faye helped us immensely, she was shocked we were so easy to please. My only thing was, and there was no pushing to sell their product but I would say shop about for insurance, we got our insurance elsewhere for half the price

Negative experience: What does it mean when you ask the agent to hold the flight you asked for......$200 more when you go to pick up ticket. A joke of a place!!! Go elsewhere!!!!!!

Negative experience: If you are trying to look for reasonable flights fare with flexible dates, I DO NOT recommend here. They judge you so hard for it and are not reliable. I have worked in customer service most of my working life and I always go out of my way to help and make sure customers are always taken care of. From incorrect information to poor customer service, I wouldn't even leave 1 star if it was an option. Ramona

Fantastic experience: Our service with Michelle Fischer was always very reassuring. Her suggestions have always improved our vacations. We find being far away from home has us always secure knowing that Michelle is always there to reroute us need be. She is our best friend when we travel. She did a great job of cancelling our vacation when Covid happened.

I was planning on a trip to Ireland when the pandemic came along and took that away. If you are looking for professional and personal services, visit Michelle in the office and she will work hard to get you what you need.

She is very friendly and easy to deal with. Michelle will find us the best prices on flights and has gone beyond our expectations this past winter when we needed to get home due to the pandemic and new government restrictions.

Negative experience: Lee Ann didn't seem to want our business. Very rude and unprofessional. I would never go back again. And i would never recommend going to see her. Horrible service

Negative experience: I went to them the first time just over a month ago.. never heard back from them so I went in again just over a week ago. At that time I asked the agent to set me up a trip to Bali. They told me it would be ready in 1 week at the most. That was yesterday. I went in and she hadn't even started but told me it would be ready by today. And it still wasn't done. By now the cost of my trip has already gone up a few hundred dollars. If you are planning any kind of trip or vacation, either plan it yourself or go anywhere but here.

They kept us in the lope every step of the way and finalized everything today. We can’t wait for our tour. Great customer service!! Thanks ladies

Positive experience: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just wish they had more weekend staff. Every time i go in there is only 1 person working. So a little bit of a wait for someone to help you.
