Fantastic experience: I have been lucky enough to do a hot destination trip with LATravel every year for basically a decade. But this last trip was the best one yet. First off, I have some complications with my group, we’re coming from all over Canada but Juphell and Chris just always get us so organized - it would take a crazy amount of effort to get the job done the way they have for our group over the years and we are all very thankful for the fact that basically we just show up at the airport and everything is taken care of. We did Costa Rica this year and man was it gorgeous! But probably the biggest part of the service that I have received over the years was on this trip. I really don’t like to make a fuss but my room just wasn’t right. I sent a message to Chris and was pleasantly surprised at the action that was taken so quickly! I left for a couple hour excursion and by the time I got back Chris had messaged me to simply go to the front desk to find out my new room number and have my fob reprogrammed which took about 4 seconds. The new room was fantastic and I didn’t have to lift a finger! If you want to turn your brain off and really just concentrate on having a nice vacation, book with these guys!!

Fantastic experience: I got to know LA travel when I first went with the Health and Wellness retreat with Sharon Delbridge, did this for 10 years until COVID hits us. Chris and his team made this trip memorable with their caring and professionalism. Two years ago, we used LA Travel for our family vacation(17 of us), Juphell was able to coordinate all the arrangements, considering some families came from Vancouver and Victoria. Just came back from Mexico using LA Travel, once again Chris and Juphell did a terrific job. I commend Juphell for being so patient and professional dealing with our last minute request and they were not easy request but he managed to do it. Looking forward to next vacation. LA Travel agency is the only way to go! Thanks again Chris, Juphell and your whole team!

Fantastic experience: We truly enjoyed our holidays at Colonial, Barcelo Maya, Mayan Revierra Mexico. We’ve been there a couple of times but the last one were exceptional. It was a great experience for my grandchildren who were so eager to see the beaches.Thanks for Juphell’s expertise and his patience in dealing with some issues. The resort were perfect for us, the driver of the transfer were great, made sure we got to our destination safely. The food were good. Overall I commend the staff of LA travel for making our experiences a memorable one. Again,thank you. Continue with the excellent job!

Fantastic experience: Just got back from Puerto Vallarta health and wellness. Retreat with Sharon did not disappoint. Sharon has lots of energy doing five classes a day and she made sure that we were all looked after thanks to Juphell we got our seats On the plane, Sunwing didn’t disappoint us as we weren’t delayed we stayed at Fiesta Americana, great food great drinks felt safe security was good. They also provided with a hospitality suite of our own as we had a late departure.

Fantastic experience: Chris and the LATravel group have been handling our annual company retreats for years and are always extremely organized and easy to deal with. Chris and the team are very quick to handle any issues that may arise. Any last minute requests even while we are away are always looked after for us. We will continue to use LATravel because of their consistent professionalism, efficiency and organization.

Fantastic experience: I reached out to LA Travel group back in July 2022 to assist with my destination wedding. My husband and I knew right away that they were the right company to go with after having that initial meeting with Chris. We got assigned Juphell who was our main contact for anything travel related and who put us in touch with the resort wedding coordinator when the time came to work out details. Yes, there were some hiccups along the way but communication and attention to detail seemed to be the key and communication improved along the way which was must appreciated. Plus, what’s planning a wedding without some expected stress. I really appreciated that LA Travel got it right with recommending the PERFECT resort (ocean riviera paradise) for all 54 of us. Highly recommend them as they know what they are doing. Thank you Chris & Juphell!

Fantastic experience: Wow! Amazing service and recommendation! We travelled with a group from Winnipeg. Loads of kids of all ages and LA Travel didn’t disappoint! We went to Cancun and stayed at the Crown Paradise! On arrival, we were greeted by a private car service with ice cold cervases waiting for us! Water for the kids.! Unbelievable and unexpected! The resort was great! Kids had a blast! Thank you for advice and cheers to Juphel who helped put our dream together! Definitely going to book again! Great job!

Fantastic experience: My sister & I recently travelled to Central Europe on an Avalon Waterways tour, which included 3 nights at hotels in Budapest & Prague. We found the follow-up by Juphell & Chris, at LATravel Group in Winnipeg, to be very good. If they didn't have an answer to one of our questions, they were mostly able to locate it for us. I also found it helpful to conduct my own research about the places we were visiting, as an adjunct to their information. I took 2 travel books with me on the trip, to which I was able to refer. Fantastic experience: Nothing but good stuff to say about LATravel. Had the privelege of travelling through LATravel twice now and would definitely book with them in the future. Juphel from LATravel is very well organized and gives great advice (resorts, excursions, etc). I would definitely recommend him to book any future trips.

Negative experience: I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with LA Travel Group, specifically Juphell. It definitely surprises me how well rated the company is, but then there are no recent reviews. I'm not sure what happened over time but the service is pathetic, and that's being nice. My family and I were travelling for a wedding, and the bride and groom used this company to do so. When communicating with LA Travel Group numerous times, my husband and I were completely ignored. The company has a generic email reply indicating they are very busy and will get back within a certain time line but that was a joke. The bride had to call them to return my emails on 2 occasions. They did not know specific details of the hotel and I easily corrected them by googling it online, we were given the run around for the flights and almost missed booking them, and upon booking them my son had an incorrect birthday and my other had his name spelled wrong (I should mention they were corrected prior to the flight). Further to this, it was not that bad compared to other people in the wedding booking - the bride's sister had a child missing from her booking entirely. If there is any constructive criticism I can offer it would be to provide timely updates on the status of flights, hotels, etc. I understand you may be busy, but a blanketed email to the group of travellers for the wedding would ease a lot of anxiety, and would also mean we would not be inundating you email box with questions and concerns that probably relate to the same things. In the course of just under 1 full calendar year I believe 2 informative updates were provided - one in the beginning and another 6-8 weeks prior to departure. Additionally, the bride had to remind the company to send emails out about payment due dates. Unfortunately the bride did a lot more of the leg work than anyone should have to, and she was quite stressed by the experience. I thought the whole point of a travel agency was to ease that pain and do most of the organizing of the trip for you. I sincerely would not mind to hear back from the company if they wish to further discuss this matter.

Negative experience: We attended a destination wedding where the bride and groom had employed L.A. Travel Group to make the hotel and travel arrangement for the group. 8 months of stress building non communication right up to the last minute where mistakes were made, corrections required and just plain chaos. Thank you L.A. Travel Group for never returning one single email or phone call and making the lead up to the trip as stressful as you can. Keep up the good work losing customers one group at a time. Others have complained about the same trip... the excuse was Covid screwing things up and unknowns... how did covid stop you from emailing? Or returning a phone call? Or getting names correct on flight and room bookings? The Covid excuse is old... take responsibility.

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience with LA travel at all. I was working with Juphell, who was supposed to be organizing a wedding. We had to try MULTIPLE times just to get a hold of anyone to ask questions. We were not told when payments were due (the bride and groom eventually demanded an email be sent) and told multiple times we would hear back from them within a day or two and would never hear back. It got to the point where we were not even sure seats had been booked at all. When booking group flights we also were initially only booked 3/4 seats we requested. This was corrected after input from the bride. Furthermore, on the last leg of our flight, after two flights of having our toddler sit on her own seat, we were informed as we were to board the flight that Juphell had booked us a car seat seat on the plane and we could not board without one. We were obviously not informed of this and it caused much undue stress to the point where we were the last to board the plane and only did so after a very kind flight attendant pulled some strings to allow me on board with my toddler on my lap. My overall experience was less than desirable and I was very disappointed by their performance. It seemed to me the bride and groom of the wedding did all of the work while this travel agency sent maybe one or two emails reiterating what the bride and groom had already told us and taken care of. In my opinion they did not do their job and even caused additional stress.

Fantastic experience: Chris and Juphell were incredible to work with! Planning a destination wedding during a pandemic was definitely challenging, but we made it happen with the help of LA Travel. We had 115 guests come out to Mexico for a one week wedding vacation last month and it all worked out without any major hiccups!! My wife and I are extremely pleased at the quality of service we received from Chris and Juphell over the last two years planning our destination wedding. They are professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and can make things happen under time constraints! I would definitely recommend any group to book with LA Travel. 10/10 would use again!

Fantastic experience: We’ve had multiple exceptional experiences with LATravel over the years, from our wedding in Mexico to family vacations in various warm destinations. Chris and Juphell are well versed in resort accommodations and finding the absolute best value choices to meet and exceed our needs. Our most recent travel in Feb 2022 was everything we hoped and needed - resort was close to Cancun with great food, rooms, beach - it checked all our boxes including price. We were also provided full insurance at a reasonable cost just in case covid issues occurred, which they did not. I can’t say enough great things about the two gents running things, and look forward to planning my 10 year anniversary in 2023 with their services.

Fantastic experience: We have organized many vacations through Chris. From smaller trips with just my wife and I to multi family vacations. Him and his staff always point us and our friends in the right direction from accommodations, flights and selecting the right amount of insurance. Great knowledge, finding reasonable prices and his honesty is huge for us booking the right vacation for our family. We will be contacting Chris soon to start planning our next vacation!

Fantastic experience: We had 10 months to plan our destination wedding at the beautiful Iberostar Playa Mita in Riviera Nayarit, Puerto Vallarta. My husband and I originally had different destinations planned - Riviera Maya or Punta Cana - to ensure we got the amazing blue waters in our photos. Chris and Juphell ended up suggesting Puerto Vallarta at our first meeting which I wasn't too keen about, but their knowledge regarding seaweed issues at other locations got me thinking. They totally sold me with the beautiful ceremony on the rooftop terrace!! We managed to get the breathtaking beach vibe and beautiful ocean scenery without all the sand getting in the way!! Juphell was amazing the whole way through - got us quotes in a timely manner, helped find the best bang for ours and our guests bucks! We got a lot of quotes and this definitely helped UST gauge what prices kind of prices we were looking at in different locations. LATravel Group got us great prices during high season (we travelled in January 2020) - and didn't have to worry about connecting flights! We basically got the same quotes for low-season (November) and those prices were all connecting flights - so it was easy making the choice to fly in high season knowing we got a great price. Juphell really catered to our constant questions, made sure he contacted the resort for us to save us the back and fourth before we even got introduced to our coordinator two months prior our departure. He even answered questions while traveling internationally for a conference! Even when our guests were coming to us with questions or even concerns - he made sure everyone contacted him so we didn't have to stress about it! This took such loads of stress off our shoulders! Our services received from LATravel Group and working with Juphell made our dream wedding truly come to life. Without their suggestions, I would have never even known this beautiful resort even existed! All 50 of our guests were so pleased with the entirety of the resort - food was great, rooms Were super clean, resort grounds were impeccable, beach was amazingand the staff was so friendly!! Fantastic experience: We went with LATravel to book our honeymoon and Juphell did a great job in listening to what we wanted out of our vacation, and providing a good amount of options that suited us and our budget. He was informative and let us make our own decisions. We ended up at a beautiful resort and had a great time, and he also checked in on us during to make sure things were going well and to see if the one common complaint about the resort (seaweed on the beach, which he let us know about in advance of us decide to book) was causing us issues (it wasn't, luckily). We would definitely engage LATravel services for future vacations!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure working with Juphell months ago. I wanted to attend a stag my good friend Michael was having in Mexico however I was travelling from Vancouver and about a dozen fellas were travelling out of Winnipeg. The challenge was to have all of us travel together and arrive in Mexico at the same time. In addition, we wanted to make sure that we had a top notch resort and pay a fair and competitive price for the entire trip and event. During the process Juphell provided and suggested different options to make sure it worked for everyone in the group. Juphell made it work for me. He was great at answering all my questions. Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. We referred to Juphell and explained that we were on a time crunch to plan our wedding after my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and given limited time to live. It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting for quotes from him... And that's after 2 reminder emails that they've replied to. For someone to care this little about clients that are going through what we're going through, tells a lot about their entire organization as a whole. AGAIN, DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!
