ACTA & CATO to withdrae their appointees to TICO Board in Protest Further to the joint advocacy efforts of ACTA and CATO on TICO’s funding framework and fee review and our long-standing concerns with the Ontario Consumer Compensation Fund, the following media release has been issued today.We are taking the unprecedented step of withdrawing our respective appointees from the TICO Board of Directors until our organizations meet with Minister Rasheed, the Ontario Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and are provided with a copy of TICO’s recommendations on future fees and Compensation Fund funding which is expected to be approved at today’s TICO Board meeting, and then sent to the Minister for his review. Read More (Login Required.)
