Expérience négative: Décevant. Lorsque nous avons réservé cette visite, j'ai demandé si c'était vers la baie de Fundy. On m'a assuré que c'était le cas, eh bien, ce n'était pas la zone touristique de la baie de Fundy. Notre guide touristique n'était qu'un chauffeur de taxi, il n'a donné aucune information sur la région, il n'était pas sûr de la zone. Très belle personne, mais il n'avait pas d'informations sur la région car il n'était qu'un chauffeur. Il nous a dit qu'il devait nous emmener sur une côte qui faisait partie de la baie, mais ce n'était pas la zone touristique. Nous avons fini par déjeuner dans un vignoble car nous savions peu de choses sur la région et avions très peu d'informations de notre "guide touristique". Si j'avais su que ce n'était pas la zone touristique de la baie de Fundy et qu'il n'était qu'un chauffeur et non un guide touristique, je n'aurais jamais réservé cette excursion.

Expérience fantastique: Lem nous a offert une visite fantastique de Halifax et de Peggy's Cove, remplie de connaissances et de superbes histoires. Nous avons pu avancer à notre rythme et descendre quand nous le souhaitions. Nous avons fait l'éloge de la visite au grand dam de tous ceux à qui nous avons parlé à bord du navire ! Je le recommanderais à quiconque visitant Halifax.

Expérience fantastique: We had a wonderful all day tour with Al. He was full of very interesting material on so many places and made our trip along the coast a real treat & learning experience. Anyone lucky enough to have him as their tour guide is in for a marvelous time.

Expérience fantastique: We spent two days touing with Lem as our guide. He took us to so many places and told us the history of Halifax. It was very obvious that he loves this place and wants to share its history. He was always willing to stop if we needed or wanted a picture. I am so glad we took these tours and would highly recommend them to everyone visiting Halifax.

Expérience négative: I can not comment on their actual tour but I can tell you their communication with me has not been good. I unfortunately had to cancel this tour due to the coronovirus. I was going to cruise there and the ship we were sailing will not be ready if we are sailing at all at that time. I have written twice to cancel this tour the second time specifically asking for an acknowledgment to my email cancellation as they specifically say they will charge your credit card if you don't show. Other tour companies do NOT take you credit card information but this company was recommended so we went with them. They have not responded to my email about the cancellation and to be honest at this stressful time this is just another thing to have to deal with.

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I spent an absolutely amazing day with Lem Smith on October 7, 2019. He picked us up at the cruise terminal and off we went. We had some places we knew we wanted to see but told Lem to take us to other places we shouldn’t miss. His knowledge of the area was amazing. It was like an having the author of a local history book telling us the story of the area. I highly recommend Halifax Tour Guys. Well worth the price we paid for the 9 hours we spent with Lem.

Expérience négative: Nous avons réservé 3 fourgonnettes de 6 passagers (@325CAN/chacune) le 10/10/2019. À notre arrivée au point de rencontre, il semble que le gars représentant la société de tourisme n'était pas prêt avec les fourgonnettes. Il a commencé à négocier avec 3 chauffeurs de taxi séparés et a mis 20 minutes supplémentaires à enfin décider lesquelles des fourgonnettes sont pour nous. En attendant, nous avons tous resté dans le vent froid. Le conducteur de ma fourgonnette était Andy d'Éthiopie. Après 21 ans à Halifax, il a toujours un accent très prononcé et je comprends à peine son anglais. C'est une personne sympathique, mais ce n'est définitivement pas un guide touristique. En gros, nous avions un chauffeur et nous sommes revenus au bateau à l'heure et en toute sécurité. Ce n'était pas une expérience de réservation de visite privée normale.

Expérience fantastique: Our tour guide was Doug and he was quite entertaining with his commentary. We started with a pretty thorough tour of uptown and downtown Halifax. Showing mainy of the sites along the way. He had many stories to tell and he was not fixed on just dates and facts, but rather stories about the town and some of its residence. He then headed towards Peggy's cove, stopping twice along the way. Peggy's Cove was picture perfect, what can I say. Perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in the world, and it was a great day. Doug hit a few more epots when we got bwck to Halifax. We had a private tour in a family van for my family, 360 for 6 hour tour. Hard to bet that price.
