Expérience fantastique: Just got back from a wonderful New Year's Tour to Spokane! Everything about the tour was great and totally met my expectations. Both the tour director (Marion) and the bus driver (Maria) were professional and went above and beyond to make sure we stayed safe and that all our needs were met. The local tour guide (Laura) was extremely knowledgeable, and also flexible with the weather conditions as they were. The Davenport hotel was excellent, along with all the meals. A new year's day cruise at Coeur D'Alene topped the cake!

Expérience fantastique: I have travelled with Wells Gray Tours since 2010 and covered all 7 continents with this company. I am anxiously awaiting my next tour in November of 2021 to Egypt and Jordan. On all the trips I have taken with Wells Gray Tours I have only had positive experience.

Expérience négative: I went on 4 tours in 1 year and while it was exciting to get away and see places I was highly disappointed in the over all quality of the experience from Wells Gray Tours. There were a lot of issues on every tour either with food, rooms or activities and the tour guides and owner of the company just dismiss it where as if you travel on your own the businesses will make it up to you in some form. It is really unfortunate that nothing gets resolved as you pay upfront for your tour and if something happens their motto is to bad so sad, don't care that you were put out. An example was during meal times in which 25-30 people show up mistakes are bound to happen and did every time. I was served at my table of 6 but had no utensils and couldn't get a server to bring me any even after the others at my table got their food 20 mins later so we never got to eat together. My food sat cold and we were all served at different times at the same table of 6 even though our orders were all the same. Some of the meals were not even eatable. Most of the time there just was not time to send anything back. The other huge issue I had was because Wells Gray has a no refund policy if people get sick they don't want to lose their money and go anyways which is not fair to everyone else on the tour. Lastly the other draw back was that the tour guides weren't that great and some where down right rude and unhelpful and did things that got the entire tour in trouble. After the things I saw on my tours I just don't have trust in the company. They have made a lot of money over the years off the backs of seniors and it is time they started giving back and making things right when situations don't work out. Had they corrected some of these tragedies or even shown care I would be travelling on a regular basis with them but at their prices things should run more smooth. Since they cater mostly to seniors there were extreme altimeters customers on every trip which caused problems for the entire group at times. The good that came out of the trips was that I made a lot of friends and got to places that I would never go on my own.
