Expérience fantastique: If you ever go across the sea to Ireland, then maybe you should consider Royal Irish Tours. I went with 2 friends on the Royal Manor Tour and cannot say enough good things about the experience. The castles/hotels/manors were luxurious - we three shared a room and were really comfortable. Great beds, wonderful bathrooms and the food was scrumptious. An added bonus is that we stayed in one place for 2 nights most of the time. Breakfasts and most dinners were included in the price - really yummy food. In addition, Joe Nix the coach driver, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. There were 28 of us on the first tour of this season and we had a delightful time. Joe really knows and loves his country - it comes across in the stories he tells. Ireland is green for a reason. We had rain for some part of most days, but it seemed to hit us as we were driving from one place to another and it was early spring. Ireland is beautiful, lots of history, buckets of charm, really lovely people.

Expérience fantastique: We just returned from Ireland last week after doing the Shamrock Royal Tour. Having never been on a coach tour before we were somewhat hesitant about just what to expect. We needn't have been! From the very comfortable bus and hotel accommodations, the meals provided, the choice of sights to see and explore, and our marvelous driver/tour guide extraordinaire, Martin, we were thoroughly delighted with everything. Martin was extremely knowledgeable, personable and most importantly had a great sense of humour. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour!! A great way to see Ireland!! Expérience fantastique: Absolutely hands down. We had Jennifer Sturgeon and wouldn’t go back if she wasn’t the guide. She was informative and had a wonderful demeanour. She ensured our experience had far exceeded our expectations. We did the entire coastal route around the island. Don’t shorten it to just a week. Those who did missed out on a lot. So go for the 15 days, 14 nights!!! Again, this tour was beyond words!

Expérience fantastique: We just returned from Ireland after taking a tour with Royal Irish Tours. We went on the Irish Twist and it met all of our expectations.Pauline from RIT was very helpful with our booking and arrangements. Thank you Pauline. Irish Twist hit all the highlights on the southeast to southwest coast. Our tour guide Karin was amazing. She kept us entertained the whole time with stories, history of the various places and things we saw. She gave us information about everything from cows and sheep to a lot of history of Ireland. Alan our coach driver was extremely adept at maneuvering the coach along some of those narrow country roads. It was especially tricky when another large vehicle went by. Alan had funny stories to tell as well. They both made this trip so enjoyable. We had a fantastic group of people on our tour. Everyone "gelled" and got along great. The tour itself was leisurely. Alan made many stops for "rest' or sightseeing , shopping and eating. With this tour you get to see a lot of sights but it's not rushed.Besides the historical sightseeing side of it, we had three fabulous stops at pubs. Great food and entertainment at all of them. I'm already making a list of things to see and do on a return trip to the Emerald Isle. RIT you have great assets in Pauline, Karin and Alan. Thank you all.

Expérience fantastique: Our family group have just returned from the RIT bus Tour "Scottish Royal" May 4th, 2024. We had the most wonderful time and our accommodations, tour guide Linda (extremely knowledgeable), our driver Mark was excellent and our coach was very comfortable, so everything was first class all along the way. The Tour content was amazing and the weather just kept getting better and better! We had two teenage boys with us and oh how they enjoyed. everything! Our trip to Skye was a long drive from Inverness up to Portree and a little disappointing as Portree held nothing of interest and had little shopping and very expensive restaurants. The private tour of Edinburgh Castle was first class and how we all enjoyed being the ONLY group to tour the castle before it opened! A little more free time at some of the stops would have been better as getting lunch and a bit of shopping was sometimes a rush. I highly and happily recommend RIT for your excellence and detail to this tour....THANK YOU!

Expérience fantastique: We just returned from our 2 week tour and it was fantastic. Our tour guide Kathleen was super knowledgeable, and so passionate and proud of her country and its history. She brought to life the images of all we saw and experienced. The sites chosen and attractions were amazing. Our guide was so organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. Kathleen was very personable and fun to be with. We all felt so comfortable with her. She taught us some Irish songs and we had sing songs on longer rides in the bus. All of the guides at specific sites were very good as well….Roland on the walking tour of the political walls in Belfast was amazing, the guide at the castle in Cahir was very entertaining as she told us about the castle and it’s history. The Irish National Stud guide provided us with some interesting info on the original owner of the stud, about the thoroughbred horses, and how they were bred, etc. the Celtic Steps was wonderful. But the highlight was the farewell dinner with the music, dancers, and singers. What a fantastic ending to our trip. The drivers were amazing. None of us would have wanted to drive the roads! These men were familiar with the routes and made us feel safe. Andy, our main driver safely took us from point A-Z. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. The other part time drivers did great too. I feel our tour was top notch mainly because of Kathleen. We had a good group of people on this trip. The accommodations were wonderful, food was delicious, providing selections for all. The tour bus was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Thank you RIT for providing such a quality experience for us.

Expérience fantastique: Myself and my sister done the Shamrock tour with Royal Irish tours in September of 2023…For first time travels it was wonderful ….Ireland is just magical Our tour guide Kathleen was amazing and so wonderful to talk… if you ask her and she did not know the answer before the day was done she come back and tell you what you wanted to know. You rate on 10 out of 10 but that’s not high enough score for Kathleen she well above that. Our bus driver Adrian well what can I say but he was amazing and so professional ….He started every day with a smile ,which was nice to see…It was a very enjoyable experience…

Our family took a 10 day trip by bus of Ireland including 2 day in Belfast. The accommodation and entertainment included in our package was great. The food was grat, the choices of sites seeing were fantastic. I highly recommend the trip with RIT and if you are lucky enough to have the “A Team” Nigel and Richard, you will have a trip of a lifetime. Thank RIT for the amazing memories.

Expérience fantastique: RIT 10 day small coach tour was absolutely amazing. Excellent stops and hotels in every City centre except for Kilronan Castle for our final night of excellent food and company. Robert lead the first 5 days in the south which was fantastic then we met Vinnie for our second 5 days in the north which was exceptional. Roland walking us through history atop the walls of Derry and our guide of Dunluce Castle were entertaining and informative. Thank you RIT for the itinerary and two excellent guide/drivers for a vacation that exceeded our expectations.

Expérience fantastique: The best driving tour of Ireland! August 14th - August 24th. It was amazing. The itinerary was perfect, gorgeous meals at pubs/restaurants and plenty of castle exploring. However, what made our tour unforgettable were the beautiful hotels that RIT had chosen for us. A trip that we will forever remember. Ireland has so many beautiful places to explore! Edel Nolan.

Great company from the agent that booked our tour Catherine Brady to our very comedic tour guide Gordon matthews and his incredible driver Yarek!! It was the best 8 day vacation I've ever had! We were on the go all the time taking in all the beauty that ireland had to offer!! They even brought us to gems that were not even part of the tour! I highly recommend this company and will surely book with them again if I ever get to go back!!

Expérience fantastique: Just finished our tour to Ireland and RIT made it so very special. Everything went off without a hitch and was very well organized we didn't have to worry at all. We did have an issue with the car company when we returned but RIT simply took care of it for us and resolved the issue quickly. They really do take care of everything for you. This was our first tour with RIT and we will definitely use them again and I totally recommend them to others.

This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip for me; but, there is so much to see and learn about Ireland, I will definitely be back.

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I have used RIT for a vacation in 2019 and we booked another trip for 2020 that had to be rescheduled approximately 7 times because of covid. Sinead and anyone that I have dealt with have always been SO amazing and friendly. Sinead has done so much work rescheduling and taking care of everything. She is so amazing at keeping us updated. Expérience fantastique: Back Home Back in Canada after spending 15 days on the tour with Gordon (Royal Irish Tours) Kieran (Bus Driver) Both These Fine Irish Gentleman made this trip Excellent., Gordon and Kieran are 2 of the best Gordon was up on all the sights and locations we visited., Kieran is an excellent bus driver and I always felt very safe with Him at the controls., Kieran and Gordon also looked after the older passengers helping them on and off the Bus and into the Hotels., The only way I would book another Tour is if Gordon and Kieran were the Tour Manager and Bus Driver., The Hotels were very good and the meals were very good as well., But the hotel pools close at 8PM WHY??? I had a great time and met many great people and became Friends with quiet a few., Don't wait Just Book with Royal Irish Tours !!!! Also Kieran Kept the Bus spotless.,

Expérience fantastique: Just returned from the 11 Day Manor Royal Tour - our Guide, Ian and Driver, Sean were absolutely wonderful! Ian kept us well informed and Sean got us around without concern!! From Dublin, to Belfast, to almost everywhere, the sights were fabulous and the accommodations were outstanding. IF ONLY we didn't have to take a bus (LOL) - going through some of the rural roads was a bit tedious at times (especially if you are somewhat prone to motion sickness). BUT if that is all my problems, then I have no problems. The Titanic visit was superb; Giants Causeway awesome; Cliffs of Moher just out of the park; even the Blarney Stone was kinda cool. I cannot say enough things about the way Ian looked after all our needs - he was definitely worth his weight.

Expérience fantastique: Our tour guide, Mary, was just grand. Loved being served for breakfast and dinner. The food choice absolutely amazing. A great group of strangers became friends. Only downside was the early mornings. If you are going to Ireland to shop this trip is not for you, albeit, there are lots of shops in the different exhibits on the tour.

Expérience fantastique: We have been on three trips with Royal Irish Tours and loved them so much we are considering a fourth! We have taken the Manor Royal, Kerry Royal and Scottish Royal tours. From the moment you arrive, you are warmly welcomed at the airport and the fun begins from there. The driver/guides are great (Colm, Joe) and in Scotland a tour director and driver (Kirsten/Hugh). These hard working people help make the trip so enjoyable. The hotels are nice, the meals are lovely. We met some very nice fellow travellers on our tour. Ireland and Scotland are very beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

Expérience fantastique: I just returned from the Celtic Royale Tour yesterday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Despite missing the first day and a half because of a plane delay in Kingston/Toronto, an incredible wind and rain lashing at the Giants Causeway and winds so strong at the Cliffs of Moher, that one of our group was blown over and broke a hip, I enjoyed every single minute of it. Our tour manager Gerard Maher, was a delight, very funny, very organized, very welcoming, we all just adored him - 'our very own wee leprechaun' . And John, our driver (sorry I did not get his last name) is a professional driver through and through, who kept us safe and worked hand in hand with Gerard to give us the best experience ever. There is only 1 experience that has not sat well with me and that was the cost of the Irish Night at the Bunratty Folk Park. We were charged €60 per person. The price on the Bunratty Folk Park website states the cost as being €30 per person. Considering our tour did not seem to receive anything different over and above the other patrons, this seems to be a price gouge on RIT part. I will definitely consider another RIT tour. Expérience fantastique: We embarked on our Royal Manor tour June 9th from Toronto Canada. We were met by Joe Nix from Royal Irish tours in Dublin June 10th. From the time we set foot on the bus and for the next 10 days we had nothing short of a fabulous time. Joe is extremely knowledgeable and his love for Ireland shone through. He was gracious, accomodating and funny. We loved his stories, poetry and songs. Ireland exceeded our expectations for beauty, our hotels were great and the food top notch. We would definitely do another tour especially if Joe was on it again. Thank you again for taking such good care of us and thank you to John for driving us to all these beautiful stops on roads that were at best challenging some days.

Expérience fantastique: Since my husband and I have always travelled on our own, it was with mixed feelings that we decided to take a guided bus tour of Ireland. We took the Shamrock Royal tour. We were not disappointed. Royal Irish Tours did more than deliver on their brochure promises. Our tour manager, Joe O'Connor, was extremely knowledgeable, informative and witty, and made every stop interesting. Unfortunately, my husband was hospitalized briefly in Limerick but Joe kept in constant contact with us while the tour continued. At all times did we feel well looked after and Joe made personal arrangements to allow us to catch up with the tour. The attention to detail and interest in the entire group's comfort went well beyond what one would expect. There is no doubt that because of Joe O'Connor, we will be travelling with RIT again.
