Expérience négative: I unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with Transat Travel. Due to unforeseen circumstances I am unable to attend a trip— I hadn’t even paid yet, and there are no options for me to receive any money back. I felt zero support from Cory during this process and felt like every solution or answer had me going in circles and genuinely made zero sense. Due to the poor policy at this establishment and the lack of explanation surrounding it I am now out a great deal of money, that was the only option given to me to not screw over other people on my booking. It was absolutely ridiculous and please know before choosing this agency that their policy surrounding cancellations are useless. Feels like a complete scam, and extremely unorganized. Would not suggest using this agency unless you are absolutely certain you can attend a trip, there is no way out if life happens and you’re unable to make it. Avoid transat at all costs, save yourself the money and headache and book it yourself.

Since then she has helped myself and other family members with several trips to fantastic destinations, the most recently being a much anticipated trip to Italy. Her professionalism and attention to detail is exceptional. Quick story to show how she goes above and beyond. We were having trouble getting our boarding passes to get home from Venice as we couldn't connect to the airlines website. I fired off a quick message and Cory took care of everything, emailing us our boarding passes within minutes. She's the best!

Expérience fantastique: Imagine you telling your 6 year old son this: 5 more sleeps, 4 more sleeps, 3, 2, 1… Guess what day it is today??? And he yells “DISNEY CRUISE!!!!” and by the end of the day, there is no Disney Cruise because the flight you were supposed to get on at 6:30 in the morning doesn’t leave until 2:30 pm causing you to miss your ship. Yup, that’s what happened last week and if it weren’t for our travel agent Barry Davis from Marlin Travel, our vacation would have been over even before it had started. Barry went above and beyond to get us on another flight and made the transaction seamless. We not only missed our ship, but we had to catch up to it in Mexico (our first port of call) and Barry organized everything we needed in order to do that… and we did! Thanks to Barry, we were able to spend a whole day in Mexico and another 5 aboard our ship! If anyone reading this post is looking for a travel agent, give Barry a call because this guy started working for us “hours” before his agency was open for business. Had I booked this trip with an online agency I think I would have never left Calgary that day. The best part of having a travel agent is that the pricing is virtually the same. You'll pay the same with a travel agent as you would any other online ticketing agency. It's a no brainer to have someone like Barry on your team! Thanks Barry!

Nous n'avions pas d'itinéraire fixe pour continuer notre voyage en Amérique et nous sommes tombés par hasard sur le bureau de Transat à Shaganappi pour voir s'ils pouvaient nous organiser quelque chose. Nous avons trouvé leur service exceptionnel et tenons à remercier Corey, Cheryl et Barry d'avoir concocté un voyage agréable dans un délai assez court. Nous les recommandons vivement. Expérience fantastique: Nous avons travaillé avec Barry pour des vacances d'hiver en famille à Tahiti (deux parents, deux enfants adultes). Il était phénoménal. Il a préparé un excellent itinéraire pour trois îles, trois hôtels, des transferts et des vols (depuis plusieurs villes), il a contacté les hôtels avec nos questions sur les repas et les activités, et il était toujours disponible par email, téléphone ou (pendant une panique de voyage) par texto. Il a gagné le statut de rock star quand, pendant les bouleversements aériens à travers l'Amérique du Nord en décembre, il semblait que mon fils pourrait manquer les vacances en raison de retards et d'annulations de vol. Même si c'était son jour de congé, Barry est resté en contact constant avec moi et mon fils alors que nous élaborions des plans de secours A, B et C pour qu'il nous rejoigne. Merci, Barry, pour de super idées, une excellente communication et un service client fabuleux qui a largement dépassé les attentes.

Expérience fantastique: Barry Davis went above and beyond assisting my wife and I as we are planning a trip to Australia. The Australian Government has not made it easy for people to travel there with all the restrictions it has in place due to COVID-19. They have made it very difficult to fill out their forms to be considered for entry into their country. After a few tries, we gave up and booked an appointment with Barry. He spent 3 hours with us at his office to apply for both the Travel Exemption Visa and the Visitor Visas. We are so grateful for his assistance and now await the final word from the Australian Government. For any of your travel needs we highly recommend Barry. Ce fut vraiment un plaisir de travailler avec elle et en plus de tout ce excellent service... j'ai obtenu un meilleur prix pour le voyage en travaillant avec elle. Expérience fantastique: I was part of a booking for a destination cruise, as well as my own bachelor party. The cruise required little back-and-forth and was flawless. Everything was as expected, and the price was unbeatable. As for the bachelor party, I have just finished the reservation and locked in folks from all over Canada to meet down south. Barry was able to put together multiple options, far cheaper than what I was able to see online, and make the vacation work for us, rather than the other way around. We will be relying on Barry's expertise to help us plan our Honeymoon. Great hub for managing more difficult travel arrangements.
