Every suggestion she has made has exceeded our expectations. Our most recent trip we had asked for Bahamas or something similar because we were looking for something different. She suggested a resort on Bahamas, Bermuda and Curaçao, with a fourth bonus option being Mexico. All of the options were amazing however she seemed to know us better than we knew ourselves and the Mexico option blew us away, and came in well under our budget. Jet lag was the first number I got online, and glad to say now I am happy I got to them. Lisa stayed with me for 2-3 hours trying to find me a flight for the same day. We met so many great people, many from our local region and one couple from Barrie. Didn't want to leave. Pura Vida!

Expérience négative: I spoke to Gillian about a last minute trip to Mexico over the last couple of days. She was very friendly and seemed to be helpful, at first. Unfortunately the trip we were looking at went up $1200 overnight (totally not her fault of course). When I told her that wouldn't be something we'd be able to move forward with she understood and we hung up. My husband called another travel agency and within under 5 minutes the representative had a solution and was able to find us the same flight, and same hotel and level of service, but on the other side of the resort (this side hadn't been renovated as recently, but the amenities and services were still the exact same) and the cost was actually a little bit less than our original package. Of course our travel agent cannot guarantee pricing or packages and they change constantly, but I am disappointed that it seems Gillian couldn't care less about spending an additional couple of minutes to salvage our family trip that we were very disappointed to have to cancel. When I emailed her back I mentioned that another agency was able to solve the problem and asked if different agencies have various levels of visibility? She did not answer my question but responded with "Ok. Have a great trip". It was pretty off-putting and I definitely don't feel valued as a client. Also, we compared 3 other travel agencies and this one had cancellation protection fees that were almost twice as expensive as the others, for the same cost/coverage so just something to keep in mind. Still giving two stars since she was very pleasant at the beginning and she provided initial packages quickly and responded to my emails in a very timely manner. Just really disappointed that it seemed that once she had to put more than minimal effort, she gave up and left us out to dry. Makes me concerned about what level of service I'd receive if something went wrong during a trip and I needed assistance.

The flights, van rental and accomodations were great, the ferries and everything preplanned went off seamlessly. 100% could not have done this on our own. Crystal Lodge in Whistler and Black Rock Ocean Resort in Ucluelet are not to be missed. Also very helpful in planning our route, where to splurge (Whistler, Ucluelet) and where to economize if it was basically a place to crash for the night. Lisa also found us great suites, with 2 bedrooms, and a pullout couch, because we were 3 adults and 2 children, so we could all be in the same space. Also super useful was the trip itinerary which included all the vouchers and everything we needed to print out for the trip. Looking forward to having her help planning future vacays !

She went out of her way to do lots of research for us and answer all of my many questions with a very quick response. I would book another trip with this company in the future. They don't even charge a lot for all of the help despite the amount of time and effort she spent helping us. Also, if you book with a travel agency and something happens with your flight for example it gets cancelled, they will phone the airline and take care of it for you which if anyone isn't familiar getting through to airlines post covid is horrible. So that in itself makes it more then worth it to book with an agency. This company was referred to me by my sister who used to work for flight centre and she highly recommended them!
