Expérience fantastique: Via Evaneos we booked a tailor made 3 week family trip through Canada's West. Aubrey from the Landsby team was the perfect insightful sparring partner for designing and organizing a wonderful journey including destinations off the beaten track. Unfortunately through a family emergency three days prior to our departure we had to replan and finally cancel our trip. Also here, we found Aubrey extremely helpful and responsive. We will have another go at our trip and when this happens it will be with Aubrey and Landsby!

Thanks to Vanessa's advice we were able to create an itinerary to include a trip to Lake Louise and a couple of nights in Banff . The chosen accomodations were lovely and she went above and beyond when we experienced an unexpected glitch in our plans . The VIA Rail journey was well worth every cent ! Fine dining , spectacular scenery , attention to detail of all the staff were the highlights along with the time spent meeting some very interesting travellers . The additional activities ensured that no one could say they were bored . The live entertainment was more icing on the cake . Well done VIA to arrange this for their passengers. We chose the berth sleepers and were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were . Loved the special touch of a freshly made up bed with clean towels and a facecloth topped with a chocolate ! Can't say enough good things about the entire trip . Thanks Vanessa for helping to coordinate it .

Expérience fantastique: We just returned from an amazing adventure in the Yukon. Three days in Whitehorse with great restaurants and an excellent museum. We also went to the Yukon Wildlife Centre, where you can see some unusual animals. It is a protected reserve where they rescue animals orphaned or injured but the guide was very informative and it was worth seeing. The Southern Lakes Resort on Lake Tagish was beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We had a fire on the frozen lake and saw the Northern Lights on our third night there. Snowmobiling and hiking in the woods was fun, despite the cold temperatures. Northern Tales arranged our dog sledding from Whitehorse and that was a highlight of the trip. Do not miss it. Madyson from Landsby helped us put this trip together and made it all a memorable experience.

Expérience positive: We traveled Via Rail from Toronto to Jasper exploring the majestic Canadian Rockies. Landsby Travel organized the rail and Jasper itinerary which included an unforgettable scenic drive through the Icefields Parkway. Jasper is a lovely rustic town with a nice selection of restaurants and seasonal activities. We took a local bus into town from the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and explored the shops. Many of the shops showcase local artisan bespoke crafts and souvenirs. Landsby arranges unique tours providing substantive exchanges with local residents in Jasper. Unfortunately, we missed this opportunity but would definitely take advantage of their expertise for future travel.

The accommodations at Black Spruce Landscape hotel were both beautiful and environmentally friendly. The guides on our Aurora Borealis viewings were friendly and helping beyond our tour. The Eclipse NordicSpa was most enjoyable. So many accolades to share.

Vanessa planned a Canadian train trip for myself and my extended family from the US. She asked about our individual needs and preferences, and researched options and rates for train cabins and hotels. Unfortunately, due to illness, we had to cancel the trip. Vanessa sprang into action. She has an extensive network of contacts, and was able to secure unexpected refunds. Her communication and follow up was outstanding. A pleasure to work with, Vanessa went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank you, Vanessa!

Expérience négative: what a complete disgrace. Booked a "tour" from Calgary to Jasper and back - the Classic Rockies Tour. 5 nights. seemed easy enough. A complete disaster. The fires in Jasper changed things - and fair enough - we couldnt stay in Jasper and alternate accommoation was found for us - don't know what happened to the other people on this "tour". The original itinerary boasted a welcome get together with the guide - never happened. the bus was to take us to the sights along the way to Japser, a day at the Athabasca Glacier, on the ice, a picnic lunch, a cruise on a lake with guides, the banff Gondola, dinner and a farewell dinner. - etc. NOTHING HAPPENED - NONE OF IT. WE HAD TO BUY ALL THESE EXPERIENCES AGAIN AT CONSIDERABLE COST - and they were open, all of them except Jasper. "jason" WAS OF NO HELP WHATSOEVER, RUDE, AND VERY HAPPY TO LEAVE US HIGH AND DRY IN BANFF TO SORT OUT OUR OWN ACTIVITIES AND COSTS. would not respond to emails or our 'phone calls. He blamed our travel agent, I had the itinerary in hand with what was promised and he blamed the travel agent we did get the transfer to lake louise for our 1 night stay there and then the transfer to Calgary airport. THAT WAS IT. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE, WHAT YOU PAY FOR IS NOT WHAT YOU GET!!!!!!!!! A disgrace - taking advantage of people in a new country with limited time and no recourse. This is NOT A COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. AVOID IT AVOID IT AVOID IT AVOID IT. Below is what we paid for. This is not what we received At all

Expérience fantastique: Landsby was so great to work with on my trip to the Yukon! They took care of everything and I just got to relax and have a fantastic trip! The flights with Air North were excellent, had an airport pickup, and then was taken out each night for Aurora viewing! Also did a city tour and a wildlife preserve tour followed by an afternoon in hot springs. They put together a fantastic trip for me and will happily use them again!!

Expérience fantastique: I like to thank Madyson who arranged the whole trip to Canada. It was very well arranged and enjoyed a lot. It was done such a way that stay was in almost 5 star hotels located in the heart of the city. This made it so easy to walk around for shopping, eating and entertainment. Most of the sight seeing places were in walking distance. A trip to Niagara falls, lunch at the restaurant across the both falls was a spectacular. A day tour to Whistler is something to remember. I will do it again since Canada is a beautiful place.

Expérience fantastique: What an amazing time on The Canadian! Vanessa was very knowledgable in the whole trip and answered all of the questions I had. She managed to pull it off in my time frame as it was a last minute booking, but it worked out great! She was just as excited for this trip for us as we were for it! We did the Vancouver to Toronto trip and it such a great experience from the moment we got on the train to the very moment we got off! All the VIA Rail staff were top notch and were very accommodating. Meals were all very delicious, with each day having something very interesting and yummy to pick from depending on what you like. All of the dining car staff were on their game, it was as if you were at a 5 star restaurant and worked in almost military precision on each step, from seating, to cutlery, to plating, and cleaning up. The scenery was always breathtaking, if you’ve never experienced Canada or seen what the country has to offer, you definitely get to see some of the best of it from the train! There was a few activities on the train such as beer and wine tasting, trivia type events, and movie nights but the best part of it I found was the different types of people on board you got to talk to. You got to learn about where they came from, what they do or did in life, and their lived experiences. Vanessa took care of the difficult part of the trip and sorted it all out so we could enjoy the trip! We will be booking our next trip with Vanessa. I would highly recommend Landsby and Vanessa to plan your next trip!

Expérience fantastique: We did a Via Rail trip from Toronto to Vancouver with the help of Vanessa O'Brien. Everything was planned out perfect with a great choice of hotels. We got off the train in Jasper and went up the Icefields Parkway to Banff for a few days, then returned to Jasper to continue on the train to Vancouver. This was the best idea! We spent time in Toronto (eat lunch at the 360 restaurant at CN tower) prior to the trip. We also spend time in Vancouver and Victoria Island as well. Vanessa picked the best of activities and places to eat. We will definitely be using Vanessa again.

Expérience fantastique: With the help of Vanessa O'Brian of Landsby, our cross Canada trek on Via's Canadian was as easy as 1.2.3. With her knowledge and expertise our 4 night 's 5 day train trip was a huge success. Venessa had everything down to a tee, including Hotel reservations, flight boarding and train passes all inserted on the TRIP App. What a lifesaver. No searching for paper copies, everything conveniently on the screen of my phone. It was an amazing train journey. We absolutely loved all the food, scenery and fellow travellers we met along the way. Vanessa also helped us secure accommodations for four nights at the Fairmont Hotel, Vancouver, along with providing us with a detailed itinerary entitled "Ralph and Jennie's trip across Canada". Everything happened in time and ran smoothly, it was clear that it was well planned. The city tour was full of information, and the guides were very knowledgable and able to answer all questions. Best of all: the northern lights were spectacular. A true highlight to see them while also being treated so well by staff ensuring we were warm and enjoying ourselves. Expérience fantastique: First, my apologies for our delay in posting this review. Busy, but that's no excuse. I can say without exaggeration that our trip would not have happened without the help of Landsby's Aurelie Gilles. We had enquired early about travel to Whitehorse, YT for an Aurora Borealis experience, but due to logistical complications on our side, could not immediately commit. At the same time, we were concerned that further delay would limit our travel options and choices. Aurelie kindly reserved us a Northern Flavors Aurora Getaway Package, and held it while we sorted out our personal issues. Much to our relief we were able to confirm as planned. Later, we inquired about a visit to a local geothermal hot springs (Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs), which was not part of our original itinerary. Again Aurelie researched and coordinated every aspect of the excursion, a truly unique experience for us "desert southwesterners". We cannot say enough about the trip! The food and dining experience at the Inn at the Lake was exceptional. Daytime activities included snowshoeing, dogsledding and snowmobiling, all great fun and experienced with others from the Lodge. And thanks to Divine Intervention, the Aurora didn't disappoint! Overall, a memorable experience. And we can't say enough about the attention to detail that Aurelie and the Landsby team brought to the planning and execution. They are World Class, without question.

Expérience positive: We had some wonderful experiences on our trip to Yukon. The booking process, flights, hotel, transfers and most activities were excellent. We saw the Northern Lights on all 3 of our nights. The dog sledding was just amazing! The only reason this is not a 5 star review is that the itinerary was a little too packed. This was complicated by the timings of several activities on the itinerary not matching our actual experience. Often running later and so knocking on to needed down time and the next activity. I would just recommend more guidance for customers on itinerary building and allowing more time for time slippage. Thank you Landsby for a great trip and fully recommend to other travellers.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent trip to Whitehorse for Aurora viewing. Air North was a great Airline to travel with. Best Western Gold Rush Hotel in Whitehorse was good, if a bit tired, staff were great though. Northern Tales Aurora Experience was great, their guides were friendly and helpful. We were very lucky to have good weather and were able to see the Northern Lights on 2 out of 3 nights! The whole package was seamless, and well put together by Landsby. We also used Who What Where Tours while we were in Whitehorse for local transport and activities and they were fab! Would highly recommend Landsby!

Expérience fantastique: Our trip to the Yukon was great. We stayed at the Southern Lakes Resort. It is situated on a beautiful lake. Our cabin was lovely. The food was great. The chef on our last night asked us what we wanted for dinner and gave us a few options plus he made a delicious dessert just for us. The staff there were accommodating, personable and very friendly. We also stayed at the Mount Logan lodge in Haines Junction. It was lovely as well. The host was very welcoming and helped our organize our last day in the Yukon. The yoga instructor worked around our day and the guide, Lionel, was excellent. We were supposed to go on a hike in the morning with Lionel but the weather was not overly cooperative so he took on us all around the area instead. We visited Kluane Lake, Kathleen, Lake, Million Dollar Falls and an indigenous village. The food was also very good and she offered a different options for breakfast and was very accommodating. We met some lovely people who were also staying at the Mount Logan Lodge. Thanks Aurelie for all your advice, recommendations and work in making our Yukon trip a fabulous one!

Expérience fantastique: Me and my family had a fantastic 3-week self drive journey in British Columbia and the Canadian Rockies in July/August 2023. We've contacted Landsby with no previous information on their work, but their availability, knowledge and kindness immediately conquered us. They helped us putting the itinerary together with flexibility and a lot of great suggestions, they booked everything as requested, they chose very good hotels and they always replied to our questions and doubts. Some days before the trip, they sent us all the details and they use an app they constatly feed with suggestions and practical information and that we can access offline. During our journey there were a couple of minor issues, we asked for their help and they solved them on the spot. All we can say to Jason Sarracini and his team, namely Aurelie and Aubrey, is a big thank you. We had an unforgetable time in Canada.

Expérience fantastique: Was an AWESOME trip on the VIA Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver! Vanessa at Landsby was wonderful, putting in a great deal of time choreographing this great trip including a 4 day stopover in Jasper and Banff, with rental car and hotels, and then I picked up the next VIA Canadian for the final leg of the journey. I just had to follow the itinerary, step by step. A comfy bed and private views from my cabin-for-one, and always a seat in the dome car. Three filling chef prepared meals every day in the dining car. A great experience to watch Canada moving by while having a great meal ordered from the menu. Will definitely do this trip again!

A bord du train, ils nous servent des repas digne de grand restaurant, délicieux et bien présenté. Aussi un choix d’activité à bord comme dégustation de vin, de bière, yoga sur chaise et plusieurs autre . Ma chambre était petite mais confortable, j’ai été surprise de comment on dors bien dans un train en marche.

I should wait three nights to see the Aurora, but it was so dramatic experience. Expérience fantastique: Inn on the Lake, on Marsh Lake was exceptional. 7 staff keep the place humming. All are helpfull, caring, friendly. Carson greeted us at the airport and briefed us on many things while getting us to the lodge. (Even which washroom to use for quickest access, helpful! Lol). Lots of fun things to do, all equipment appeared functional and cared for. Even a hot tub that was accessible/warm 24/7! I had a maintenance issue in my room that was addressed and repaired within an hour of reporting! We went, in Jan, to chase Aurora and stayed 3 nights at the lodge. There were other guests there from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, USA, Denmark, Canada/Vancouver, Calgary, Quebec, Australia. It was so much fun to explore other cultures and share the hunt for the perfect viewing experience. All staff were enthusiastic about sharing their thoughts on how and when to get the best viewing experience. Food here was excellent, being part of the draw.. the chef was friendly and worked to accommodate preferences while offering limited meal options at each meal. Always enough to eat. We plan to return and will be pleased to stay there again. Landsby, my tour Co., was excellent. Responsive, caring, accommodating, full of good suggestions. I will not hesitate to explore other tours with them.

We booked the Banff muti-activity package at the last moment before Christmas but the customer service (Vanessa O' Brien) still find us a nice hotel. Moreover, she helped us book the flight, provided us tons of useful advices, and most importantly, she is very patient during the whole process. I definitely will choose Landsby again if I want to plan out another trip.

The airline booking, choice of hotel and activities were all impressive. Flying to Whitehorse, Air North provided on time flights and service was excellent (way better than AC or Westjet). The hotel was centrally located and the tour company, Northern Tales, provided the best fun and hassle free activities. Expérience fantastique: This was a great tour of the Northern Lights and Yellowknife. Going with an Aboriginal person raised in Yellowknife was the best. Joe went above and beyond trying to find the best view of the Aurora Borealis every night. He took us for a grand tour with stories through Yellowknife. I would highly recommend booking with North Star Adventures. Why would you want to book a tour with anyone other than an Aboriginal owned and operated tour!!!!!

We really enjoyed the three night stay at Pangea House was exceptional! The gourmet breakfasts were delicious. The Africa Room was very comfortable and quiet. The hosts were delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the five course meal which was included in our stay. The Gananoque Region is beautiful! The helicopter ride was unbelievable! We did increase our flight time from 10 minutes to a half hour. We would highly recommend the half hour flight. We did schedule a lunch dining cruise from Kingston of which we really enjoyed as well. We toured the Kingston area as well then enjoyed a relaxing tour home. Lots of history, dining and antique shops were enjoyed during our stay. We will return to the Gananoque Region and we would recommend planning our next staycation with Landsby!

Expérience fantastique: We used Landsby for a trip to the Yukon in Feb 2022. It was the most amazing trip full of fun and adventures, I can honestly say that dog sledding was one of the most fun experiences of my life. It was my sons 12th birthday while we were away and Aurelie went out of her way to make it a special experience for him right down to arranging a birthday cake at our aurora viewing and booking a birthday meal, super helpful. From start to finish the process was smooth, would definitely use Landsby again.

We also enjoyed the entertainment each night that we were there making our stay even more enjoyable, and a surprise gift of a Visa card from Landsby which covered our first dinner cost.Thanks so much for this. We took a drive to the Foley Conservation Park ( complimentary tickets from Landsby). Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Expérience fantastique: My wife and I had a marvelous time at the Cove Inn in Westport last weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The accommodated our late arrival (at about 9:00 p.m.) by leaving the key for us at the front door. We enjoyed an evening of music and food on Saturday night. The location was lovely, and we took advantage of the opportunity to go for a hike on Friday and Saturday and Sunday mornings along the Rideau Trail and to Foley Mountain. Westport is also conveniently situated in the Rideau Lakes area, and my wife and I visited Newboro, Jones Falls, Lyndhurst, Perth, and Gananoque. The region has a great deal of charm. The room was very comfortable and clean. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend, and we would definitely consider returning. Thanks sincerely to Landsby for making the arrangements.

Expérience fantastique: My adventure in Whitehorse was all I hoped it would be. Luckily I chose a week with mild(er) weather and was able to thoroughly enjoy dog-sledding through a forest and frozen river, snowmobiling in the mountains and of course enjoying a brief glimpse of the northern lights. I even had time to explore the downtown area and browse through the MacBride Museum and a local glass blowing studio. Thank you to Landsby for making my bucket list trip come true!

Expérience fantastique: Landsby organized a weekend getaway that was the epitome of Winter Wonderland Ontario fun! Every detail was taken care of for us from meals and lodging down to equipment rentals. My friend and I felt like VIPs. If you haven’t visited Haliburton, please go, especially during the winter! It is a magical winter playground. Anyone who loves outdoor sports must visit this destination! Haliburton is a hidden gem; every trail, ski slope felt like it was privately ours. A highlight was definitely snowshoeing the Log Shute trail. I am already planning my summer camping trip back there! Thank you Landsby, for helping me be a tourist in my own province and experiencing such unique and wonderful activities in my own backyard!
