Expérience négative: Bad experience with this place, BIG mistake on their end. Me and my partner book a room in Hawaii, the big island. They sent us to the wrong island! We had to scramble around and look for a room on our own. They didn't want to take responsibility for their mistake. We shown them the location on our room and what island it is on. But she insisted it was the right place. We were on the phone with them for hour see if they can fix their mistakes. But they just wanted us to book another flight with them on another day, and still pay FULL price for their mistake. Not going back to them again.. they didn't even apologize

Expérience négative: One of the worst travel agency I have ever seen. They only sell you the ticket without any after-sales service. After following up several times to change the date and change the destination city, no one responded to me. They don't even have any information about the required visas for the destination cities, which is very necessary to work in a travel agency.This was the last time I made the mistake of buying tickets from them.I advise you to buy online, it is much better to buy tickets from them, because in this case all changes can be made through you. And there is no need to follow through them.

Thanks for your review and thank you for your patience as we thoroughly investigate your case. We found that that in December of last year you requested information regarding the possibility and the cost to reroute your flight itinerary. The advisor who was assisting you followed through and tried to contact you with the requested information multiple times and when they couldn't connect with you they finally left a voicemail. We did not hear back from you until this review which is approximately 1.5 months after the initial request.
Regarding travel visas, in Canada it is the responsibility of the traveller to ensure they have (i) valid passport, (ii) required entry visa, and (iii) medical immunization, vaccination. etc. for the destination they are visiting as it is different based on the nationality of the passenger passport. This is indicated in our email footer as well as our invoice. For travellers with a Canadian passport we provide a link on our website with the most up to date information.
We're sorry you had a poor experience with us but please be assured we follow through on all traveller requests. We understand our advisor is in touch with you regarding your options and we hope we can resolve your issue soon.

Expérience négative: One of the worst agencies in town. No response to the client as long as you pay for your trip they leave you because it already has their commotions. Never try these unresponsive people. Due to covid 19, all my trips got cancel and I call them to refund my money they did nothing and no answer me. Thank god my Visa card has insurance. At that time whenever I called them no good response and I did not get any any any help. Regarding their price, I found a better price in other agencies. Don’t lose your time and money! Customer service is the worst.
Dear Borhan, thanks for your review. We had had a chance to investigate your file. Firstly it is not true that we ignored you as we have email communications with you regarding this file since March and throughout the pandemic and it is true that we passed your cancellation request to Air Transat each time you asked for it. As we informed you, at the time all tour companies and airlines stopped refunding past purchases and instead offered only future travel credits. However, Air Transat started refunding again at the end of summer in order of departure date and and we have the documents that show your refund was initiated on August 24th, 2020. Now, I’m a little concerned since you have stated that you got your money from back from insurance also? We recommend you contact your insurance company as this can result in problems for you down the road.
Furthermore, it’s also a little deceiving to the public to simply state you found cheaper prices elsewhere. When you purchased the vacation package through us, it would be hard to believe that you did so at a more expensive price. If you have subsequently compared a similar itinerary on different dates, then surely the price would vary as prices do fluctuate.
After 15 years of service, we are confident our prices and services are competitive and I’m sorry that you interpreted your experience in this manner. Everybody around the world was dealing with challenges arising from COVID 19, especially the travel industry.

Tina is so responsive and helpful and she always try to find the best available fare for her customers. Expérience négative: Poor customer service. Charges you without your consent. No real contract or invoice. They make you contact the airline yourself when there are any issues.
Dear Negar, almost all disagreements boil down to miscommunication and I think this is what happened here. Unfortunately, you did not witness the countless and unprecedented hours we spent on hold with the Air Canada pleading to obtain a refund at a time when all airlines were only issuing credits. We finally broke through and managed to revive 99% of your ticket back. Seats are processed as a separate transaction and follow different procedures. Weeks ago we already made the request for a refund but due to COVID their processing times are very long, about 2-6 months. We did charge a nominal $75 fee for the time we spent on this file which was agreed by you as per email records so I’m not sure why you think we charged you without your consent. Also, we are yet to issue the final invoice as the seat refund is still pending with Air Canada. You threatened to sue us for the $100 pending refund which blindsided us after everything we tried to do to help you. We communicated that if you want to sue us then there will be no further service rendered as you have deemed it a failed service but you then agreed to continue to wait and allow us to work on this for you. Unfortunately, there is something lost in translation because now you have decided to write this review and in a time when we all need to band together its disheartening to be treated like this. We are the middle man between you and the airline and we can’t control their processes, all we can do is try our best to make sure our clients get what they want. We never asked you to contact Air Canada to help you with this file as we have been communicating with them over the weeks by phone and email. We hope this clears things up and we will continue to follow up with Air Canada. We will process the refund as soon as they complete it. Thank you.

Hi, we had replied to you a few weeks back but it doesn't look like it registered with Google. In any case, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. We've found that most cases are just a matter of miscommunication as we have and always will put our customers needs first. We have been in business for over 14 years which wouldn't be possible if our services didn't include support after the sale. As we all know, the travel industry has been under a lot of pressure due to COVID-19 when you posted this and we can accept that there may have been an instance that affected our ability to offer the standard of service we're used to due to the immense number of exchanges and cancellations our staff was dealing with. We however cannot accept that we wouldn't make eye contact with our customers. We take price in our service and hope that you will consider Advanced Travel again once we are out of this Pandemic.

Tina and Sam are really great individuals who care about your ticket, saving money, layovers in regards to your ticket , dealing with emergency issue's and getting back refunds. He asked for our full names and date of births up front which seemed odd to (I only wanted tto get a quote). After giving me the the quote, he casually mentioned that he had reserved the flights for us!!!! Without getting my consent. Truly unprofessional.
Hi Seyed Mohammad, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication on this phone call. We ask for passenger names so we can get an accurate quote from a real live booking based on actual availability. He also asked for the date of birth because you mentioned one passenger was an infant in which case he had to confirm the age. Once we move forward with a booking we can’t change the names so if you had approved the booking without passenger names, we would have to cancel and start again during which time we could have lost the original availability and price especially when there is high demand for a flight. In your case today the agent was trying to avoid that because he was booking the last available seats and at the end the conversation he asked if you want to keep the reservation which you refused and he proceeded to cancel it. At this moment you do not have a reservation with us and even if you did there would be no obligation to make a purchase. I understand how you may have perceived this interaction but rest assured that we were only trying to act in your best interest. I hope you understand and consider Advanced Travel again.

Expérience fantastique: I have booked a couple trips with Advanced Travel including all-inclusive vacations and flights and I was very pleased with their service. I was able to get better flight connections than what I had found on the usual search engines (google flights etc). The staff were knowledgeable about the vacation packages and quality differences between the resort chains. After countless hours searching through tripadvisor and getting more confused, they were able to offer me guidance in making an informed choice for my destination. The company is a small family owned business and the owners are always available to speak to directly. To me, this beats sitting on hold to expedia or westjet for 2 or 3 hours if you have a question or issue. I’m always happy to support local businesses in the community, and I would definitely recommend booking through Advanced!
Expérience fantastique: Great service that saved my trip! I was already in Havana, Cuba and needed to book a resort ASAP as I was getting to Varadero a few days later. They sent me 3-options within 15 minutes and helped me book an incredible resort. Nice surprise was an infinity pool and good food at Ocean Vista Azul which Advanced Travel recommended. They knew what I needed and made our trip memorable.
Expérience fantastique: This is the place to go to find the best deals. The team is always so eager to help and they have always found cheaper deals than the ones I could find by myself online (even after spending hours researching) or equivalent. I always try to look by myself first, but i usually end up at their agency because I don't want to take the risk to pay more than I should. I recommend this place if you are looking for a travel agent you want to be able to trust. It seems to me that rather than trying to make big bucks off me, they help me identify my best options. They also have great travel tips and suggestions along the way like insurance, transfers, recommended hotels, activities etc.

They are extremely professional and courteous, which is a nice change from the people I am used to dealing with that don't seem to really even care about you, or your trips overall experience. Advanced Travel & Tours have always been there for me as I was travelling, willing to try whatever they could to ensure that my overall experience was positive, and isn't that what travelling is about - positive experiences? Expérience fantastique: Great people and great service! I went to Advanced Travel to book flights for a month long European adventure. They were very helpful in finding me the best flights in my price range that wouldn't have me sitting in airports all day, and there was no fine print and uncertainty that goes along with online booking. Definitely recommended!

Expérience négative: I would avoid this company. They ripped me off big time. I was charged twice for cancelling a ticket. I was out almost $500 because their fee was $275. I've never had an agency charge that much for doing 5 minutes of work. Just find someone else. You'll thank yourself for it.

We noticed this review was not replied to. Unfortunately, your claim is erroneous since it falsely claims "poor service or lack of responsibility" where in reality your frustration derives from the fact that you overlooked airline policies and rearranged your travel plans without checking the consequences with us first. More specifically you skipped the first leg of your flight in hopes of using the return but all airlines will cancel remaining flights in this case. You escalated your complaint to small claims court but the Judge decided against you in 2013 and you lost the case. Your review was posted approximately 3 months after the judgement in an attempt to defame our travel agency. We will seek the removal of the review.
