Expérience fantastique: Raj, was very helpful in securing a wedding block for us at Dreams Vista Cancun. All the guest got there without any issues. Raj provided the guests with options if our 7/5 night options was not feasible or if they wanted to book outside of the package. Absolute Wedsite provided us with a beautiful personalized website, which was easy to use with all the necessary information required for our guests to book our wedding.

Expérience positive: My husband and I recently got married at Barcelo Maya Palace (perfect wedding , resort had terrible customer service , but that's a story for another review ). We had Kunal be the wedding planner for us , and his service was fantastic - nothing short of 5 stars. I'll break down all the details below but bare with me , it will be a very long review. The way Absolute Website works is in two parts : wedding planning , and travel. They're under the same brand but operate as two very separate units. You don't have to purchase a wedding planning package if you choose travel , but I don't know if the other way around travel package is a must to select the wedding package . Now for wedding planning: if you are able to choose , choose Kunal . He was very honest, didn't make any false promises , and worked really hard. We originally had a much richer wedding package but he himself suggested a smaller one (that means less money for them right ?) . But he wasn't money hungry , he did exactly what made sense for our wedding , and that isn't something that can be said for most wedding planners. He worked really well with the hotel and dealt with their extremely slow responses and worked so well to negotiate different things to our benefit. There was also a great post-wedding follow up from him (mind you, his service ended at just prior to the wedding but he continued). This review would have definitely been a full 5 stars , even 6 if I could have, if it had been only the wedding portion alone. The not-so-great travel portion: something to remember is that most of these travel agents use a very archaic system. It's not the same as the user experience on the airline's website. How it works is a contract is set out with the airline , and certain number of seats for X number of days vacation package is saved at Y rate. Anything different than this is where all the problems start - say you had a 7 night's package at a rate of $2100 saved for your guests but someone wants a 5 night package instead - the rate on the airline website is $1700 for example , but you have to fill out this old archaic form and send it to the travel agent Jean , and she in turn is supposed to confirm the booking within 48 hours. But this doesn't always happen - with most of our guests the booking wasn't confirmed in the said time , and in the above example this means the rate could end up changing , but you're authorizing your credit card for an amount you're not provided immediately. Other errors we noticed were names being spelt wrong on the documentations , wrong charges being taken out from credit cards , etc.. there's an easy workaround here to all these errors: as the bride and groom , you need to be VERY organized and maintain a roster of your entire guest list , what they booked , the rate , the deposit they paid , the balance due , and other details. This essentially mitigates most of the issues but that just means as the bride and groom you will be doing the work that the travel agent should have been doing correctly . Another issue we noticed was one of the prices listed (that wasn't a price we got a contract for with the airline) was wrong on their website. TICO indicates the price written is the price that is paid by the client , but it wasn't honoured. My simple suggestion as a fix for this - make a contract for everything . Every single rate. Don't have your website (each couple gets a website for their guests to indicate all the rates and details of the hotel ) indicate any rates that isn't already on a contract. TLDR : the issues in the travel portion can be minimized , if not eliminated all together if you a) document everything and b) are super organized and maintain a guest list roster. As for the wedding planning , do yourself a favor and hire them and ask for Kunal . It'll save you almost all the headache of having to deal with resort wedding staff and is well worth it every penny

Expérience fantastique: We had the pleasure of meeting the Absolute Wedsite team over a year ago as we started to plan our parents 50th destination wedding anniversary in Costa Mujeres, Mexico (Aug’23). It was a simple google search that lead to the inquiry but after our first meeting with Raj, it completely validated that she had the experience, the knowledge and the desire to help us put this event together. The AW team helped craft the entire event with us from choosing a resort, drafting a timeline, creating a website to share for bookings, having several detailed meetings/emails for main events and assisting our 70+ guests with deposits, questions, and travel docs. Having the AW team on-site at the resort was the icing on the cake and gave such peace of mind…greeting us when we arrived, making sure everyone was checked in, ensuring the two main events were set-up and running smoothly and just overall assistance with our guests. I highly recommend AbsoluteWedsite for your destination wedding/anniversary needs. No regrets. Oh and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres - great resort for a large group of all different age groups!

Expérience négative: I wish I can give negative ratings for this company. They have no clue at all how to organize a wedding and treat guests who took their time out to attend a destination wedding. I was in the wedding industry for 10 years and could never imagine to treat guests like how they did. Raj and her son were extremely rude and defensive when they were approached for any anwsers. They pretended like they didn't know who we were (even though we all had matching shirts). Absolute Wedsite had overcharged us when we did the final payment. Once we told them about the issue she told us she would refund the difference, which they did not. All their events were disorganized, event was suppose to start at 6pm, but they continued to set up the equipment & dance floor till 6:30. They realized the led floor did not work and tried to fix it halfway through wasting time while all the guest stood there watching. After their efforts they still could not get it to work. This falls upon the planners to test equipment and make sure the components of the event are in place. After Raj was confronted with our frustrations she would convey that we are rookies and new to travelling. She knew absolute nothing about the resort, you would think that she would at least know around the resort to help out guests. The wedding aspect was great as all families were together, however this experience could have been elevated with some proper planning in place. It clearly seems like absolute wedsite is in it for the money rather than making the best destination wedding experience. I highly do not recommend this company.

Made the bride tear up at her incompetence. She threatened to leave without hosting any of the events after she was confronted. Do not recommend, go somewhere else and save your money.

When we raised concerns they became defensive, and decided to make false claims of attacks. They even escalated it to the point that they threatened to leave the resort and cancel last minute on all the events. This isn’t how guests should be treated , highly recommend exploring other options such as Desta Wed. They need to learn to accept mistakes and work with guests , we all were business families - and were extremely surprised when we were told we were uneducated. Laughable service.

I knew I was in great hands. I wanted specific rooms, next to each other at a specific resort and less than a weeks notice from when we were to fly out. Raj made it all happen! Got us a deal way better than Expedia and all the other sites I looked at. We had the best of times and while on the sand we’re already planning the next one!

Expérience négative: Good morning! Just wanted to clarity the numerous emails between you and I. You neglected to mention that there was also a large amount transaction on my credit card. I gave you ample time to find the discrepancy. But no, you continued to deny the amount, and finally after a few weeks, I proceeded to notify my credit card company to investigate transaction. Miraculously after a couple of days of card company notifying me of the error, you notified me by email.

Expérience fantastique: Micheline was very helpful assisting in our reservations for a quick winter getaway to the Bahamas Riu Paradise Island: she Price-matched an online deal we had found, helpful tips, requested an ocean view room and answered our travels and accommodation questions - even gave us a few little bonus gifts for our travel and memories afterwards. The Riu itself was great: clean premises, courteous and welcoming staff, great food options and nice beach. And a daytime visit into Nassau itself was a fun compliment to the all-inclusive Riu. A well-enjoyed and much-needed getaway! Et elle un service de qualité en français.

We had a large party of 49, and Sandra and Monica did great work coordinating flights and accommodation for all of our guests. They were great at communicating with us each and every step along the way, so we never felt like we were unsure about anything to do with our big day. Every time we met, it was productive, but also fun, because Raj is exceptionally kind and personable. When it came time for the wedding, they were great at directing our guests for an easy check-in, as well as helping us distribute some printouts they had made for our guests: many of them were unfamiliar with what a traditionally Punjabi / Sikh wedding is like, and Raj made sure they had a nice printout with a breakdown of the pre-wedding ceremonies. The setup for all the events were absolutely gorgeous, and Raj was on top of everything, ensuring it was exactly as beautiful as we expected (in fact, it was breathtaking how nice they had set everything up, better than what we expected!). There was even a situation where the hotel was not following what our previous agreements stipulated, and they were trying to overcharge us for a service. Raj went out of her way to ensure we got what was promised to us. Overall, I would easily recommend Absolute Wedsite to anyone interested. Despite the number of events, it all came together seamlessly. The planning staff was very helpful with locations and times. Expérience négative: I went to a lovely wedding in Mexico recently, had a wonderful time catching up with family, enjoyed the delightful wedding festivities and the actual wedding itself was beautiful. Unfortunately I have absolutely nothing good to say about Raj. She was confrontational and defensive when guests had questions or feedback regarding the stay or flights. Demonstrated abysmal customer service skills. I would strongly recommend you reconsider hiring this particular wedding planner.

Expérience fantastique: Whenever my husband and I talked about getting married we always talked about a destination wedding. Once we were engaged we met many travel agents a bridal shows across the GTA but no one that we really clicked with. Until we met Sandra. After having a chat with her at a bridal show I knew that she is who I wanted to use. After our meeting and giving her and Monica our travel budget per person the found us 2 resorts in Mexico. There were some bumps along the road while planning (guests cancelling booking late etc) however Sandra and Monica always handled themselves proffessionally. When my Step father fell ill and couldnt make it the ladies did everything in the power to get my Mom and Brother on a different flight to ensure that at least they could be in Mexico for our big day. We chose Blue Bay Grand Esmerelda more for the price point for our guests (71 people that booked with Sandra and Monica) The ladies also assisited us in booking our site visit 1 year prior to our wedding. I can not say enough good things about the wedding deparement at our resort. My WC Thania was amazing and really saw my vision and everything turned out better than expected. Sandra and Monica, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for assistaning in making our wedding a dream come true. You ladies are amazing! In the initial planning stages in Canada we would have meetings regularly to discuss the progress and then when we got to Mexico, her team was already there getting all the events lined up. Expérience négative: we booked with them for a wedding in Cancun. Prior to making deposit, when we inquired about the rooms, Raj informed us over the phone we will be staying at the Tropical hotel (one of the newer buildings) at barcelo maya in cancun and the rooms are one of the best ones available, next tier up would be at the Palace Hotel. I booked for 2 adults and 1 10 year old child. Myself, my niece, and my 10 year old son. When we got to the destination, we were put into Caribe Hotel (much older building) and all 3 of us were booked into a room with one bed so Raj and her cronies could pocket more money off of us. These people should not be allowed to plan the most special day of a person. They plan to make most money out of you, not to provide good service. On my original review, I did not get into much details and I called them what they are in my opinion. I received a letter from their lawyer intimidating me to take the review down. I guess their business plan is to bully people who write honest bad review after receiving bad service and request family and friends to write good reviews instead of just taking care of their clients.

Expérience fantastique: Charmae from Absolute was very reliable in coordinating the resort room bookings no matter what time I emailed or messaged her she always got back to me promptly, Payal from Absolute was very sweet and did my amazing henna and Raj & Aman were great at executing all events for our large wedding party and passed my expectations with their Absolute Wedsite decorations.

She had nothing bad to say so we said, “let’s give them a try”. When we had our first meeting with Raj and Sandra, they were very informative and gave us great options as to where we should have our destination wedding because we had no clue where to start. We needed somewhere beautiful yet affordable. After a few weeks, my husband and I decided on a place that was new to Absolute Wedsite. The Grand Sirenis in Mexico. Sandra and Monica did a fantastic job with organizing and getting rates for our party of 84 guests! Monica was there to answer every question and concern. There were times I was flustered with having a huge wedding party, but Monica did her best to calm me down and assure that everything will be fine. I didn’t have any complaints from my guests in terms of booking or their customer service. Once we arrived in Mexico, our service was excellent! Expérience négative: TERRIBLE!!!! please go somewhere else. I found them in Canada's Bride Show. Before signing the contract they were helpful and friendly once I gave them the deposit it was HELL. Jessica took forever to reply to our questions and emails and she was mean and very unprofessional. Raj didn't make any difference. Some of my guests were so FRUSTRATED WITH THEIR SERVICE that end up booking on their own. We needed to fight to get our "promotional" vouchers. They advertised 2 carry on bags that we never received. My sister in law purchased the travel insurance and she never received it. I end up dealing with the Resort directly. Thank God for this, Jessica called them and said I wanted to change the date of the wedding, which was completely false. If the on site coordinator hadn't called me directly and just followed Jessica's instructions she could have ruin this day for me. I am taking the time to write this review as I wish my experience helps another bride to go somewhere else and DON'T RISK HAVING THIS ONCE ON A LIFE TIME DAY RUIN BY THIS TERRIBLE PLACE.

Expérience positive: Raj and here team did a great job planning our wedding. After some initial hiccups with travel arrangements, we were thrilled with how everything turned out. The decor was beautiful, and our events went exactly as we had planned. Thank you Raj.

Expérience fantastique: Was looking to book my first all inclusive trip for me and a group of friends and I was referred by my friend to Beverlie. She made booking so easy. She also recommended the resort we ended up staying at as she had been there before was able to provide a personal recommendation. She made organizing the trip so seamless and she would remind us of our due dates and all the info we needed. I had so many questions but she was quick to respond. Jamica Andani and her team worked with us for over a year, patiently while we figured out which dates and rates would work out best for us. They ultimately ensured we got the best rates and we were able to get the right value. Working with the Dreamy Destination Weddings and Absolute Wedsite Team made us feel like we had the help of our family planning our wedding. Whenever there were errors, special requests and accommodations (which with 100 guests you can only imagine) they ensured it was handled, and all the guests needs were covered We couldn't have asked for a better wedding planning team.

Expérience fantastique: I just want to give a more current review of Absolute Wedsite because my experience with them was totally opposite of being scammed. I have taken the time to post the same review on Facebook and RedFlagDeals to inform people that this company actually helped make my destination wedding possible. I saw Absolute Wedsite at Canada's Bridal Show and decided to check it out. Absolute Wedsite's president, Raj Pahwa, went through different resorts and showed us pictures to show that she personally visits the resorts to make sure the quality is great. Raj took care of us from the moment we decided to use her services in October 2013 for our May 2015 wedding in Mexico. We were assigned a travel agent, but Raj never failed to ensure we were receiving good customer service throughout the year and a half leading up to the big day. Raj even sent her son Kunal, owner of Pahwa Studios, who took amazing professional photos and videos for us! (Our video is on their website under "Pinky & Justin"). Communication was mostly via email and phone BUT you have to understand that it might take a few days for their travel agents to get your answers from suppliers, especially when there are tons of bookings going on each day. We did not mind because we loved that Absolute Wedsite took full responsibility for booking our 30+ group and got us amazing group rates, all for FREE since they get paid by the suppliers! Everything went smoothly when we boarded our plane and had a bus ready to take us to our resort and back when we left. We also recommend Absolute Wedsite because they always have promotions going on, like the complimentary Heys luggages we got - very helpful for our trip! Expérience négative: I wish that I could give this place a negative rating. They have been so incredibly unprofessional and clueless when trying to help my sister with her wedding. Sandra is the original incompetent Travel Agent that tried to assist our group. She almost booked me for the wrong group, trying to insist that the wedding I wanted was June, not Sept. She routinely called my sister by the wrong name, and was confused that multiple guests had the same last name, which was the last name of the groom. She was so rude to my grandmother, that my grandmother almost didn't come. They charged us way more than any other provider was charging. Their organization is horrid, they have not given proper information to guests to pay balances due. They have routinely misspelled guest names during correspondence, so I am dimly hopeful that they have ensure correct spelling on our actual tickets. The destination wedding is till six months away so fingers crossed that I will not be adding to this. Word of advice to any bride or any potential customer is to stay far way from this place. There are a lot of other reviews that repeat almost the same things as mine. Plus a few that are obviously written by current employees. Cut your stress by clicking on any other site!
