Expérience fantastique: Our car broke down at night in a the middle of a public parking garage where most tow trucks can't go. CAA sent someone out within in an hour. Neilson let us go home while he and his partner took care of getting the car out of the garage and to a mechanic. I'm going to be a CAA member for life! We might have been sleeping in our car if it wasn't for them.

Expérience négative: I'm not satisfied as a CAA customer. They allowed a tow operator to leave me stranded even though I showed my membership to the tow truck operator. I filed a complaint and CAA is not doing anything regarding being left behind. They tried to blame me saying I wasn't using the right card when I used the one that was provided to me by CAA. There not penalizing the company and calling this an "education opportunity" I was also was mislead, and stolen from by this organization. I called in July to state I moved to Atlantic Canada. I got emails confirming I'm an Atlantic member. When I needed service, they inform me I'm not eligible because they never transfered it to Nova Scotia. I'm still an Ontario member until June 2025. There not interested in providing customer service, but fine with taking my money for services I don't "qualify" for.

Expérience fantastique: I dealt with the tow truck driver Neilson today. It was an absolute pleasure. That man needs a raise asap. He showed up on time. Kept me informed. His positive outlook has upper management written all over it. If I could give six stars I would.

Expérience négative: Do not go here for passport photos. When I brought my photos to Service Canada they were refused because of poor quality. I was informed by the Service Canada Agent that they have had issues with this place. Wish I had known that before I wasted my time at Service Canada. Now I have to get new photos taken somewhere else and book another Service Canada appointment. I would give zero stars if I could.

Expérience fantastique: I called this location couple of times and got the best services ever specially the last one on December 17 2024 around 6 pm Tow track came to take my car to the Toyota dealer. Ruel is very professional he did beyond and above!!! Much appreciated for the whole team!
Expérience négative: Myself and my 3 year old were t-boned in the Windsor Street Exchange on Sept 20th. CAA is my insurance company, and we also pay a yearly membership for roadside assistance. RCMP decided not to show up, therefore no tow truck for my undrivable car. I called roadside asking for a tow and they refused saying the insurance trumps roadside. I explained that I was still at the scene of the accident in rush hour traffic with a toddler and it was not safe to call insurance and make a claim at that time. I needed my car towed home. They didn't care. I proceeded to call the insurance side of things, and the lady on the phone said that is absolutely not how it works and she would call them herself to give the go ahead for a tow. When she put me through to roadside to confirm my location, they once again argued with me even though insurance was speaking to them moments ago. My sibling had to leave work and come help me push my car to safety. No acceptable. When I emailed later putting in a complaint, Trevor who handles complaints was worse than the original lady I was talking to. He was extremely rude and kept speaking over me, telling me how wrong myself and the insurance side of things were. To the point my dad had to yell into the phone for him to be quiet so I could speak. Fast forward two weeks later, after MULTIPLE emails to not only the all over claims adjuster Evan, but the medical adjuster Stephanie as well. Zero responses. I was completely left in the dark as to the process, rental car, car seat issues, physio, etc. I finally made contact with both adjusters, yesterday, and today. The claims adjuster didn't even acknowledge that she ignored all my emails, hadn't yet even been in contact with the repair shop for an assessment, and still hasn't confirmed the guilty party's insurance, which holds me accountable for deductible, rental car, etc when I was 100% not at fault. The medical adjuster claimed that over the last few days there was computer issues, so she didn't receive my claim, even though the process was started two weeks ago. I've been back to work since the accident, and wasn't allowed to book physio until I heard from someone. After finally getting in contact, there is no paperwork for my daughter for physio, just myself, so now it's another game of chase to recieve the proper paperwork. I had to make a trip to the repair shop to pick up the old car seat for pictures, when they should have been telling me all of this two weeks ago. When I mentioned to the repair shop, they couldn't believe that they hadn't heard from anyone yet either. The quote was done and ready a week ago with parts ordered, ready to be worked on. But the repair shop, also not in contact with anyone couldn't start the work, and even called multiple times themselves. The fact that I have had to chase every single person involved on CAAs side multiple times is unacceptable. This is why we pay thousands of dollars to insurance company's. It is your job to take care of your clients, keep in contact, explain and de-escalate situations, especially when I am 100% the innocent party. Maybe it's my luck of the draw, but I have never had such horrible service with an issurance company and would not recommend. Our roadside will be cancelled seems how we pay for it but don't recieve service.
Expérience positive: I have been a CAA member for 30 years, i have had to call them a number of times for assistance with a number of problems. Last night my keys were locked inside my truck, called CAA, help arrived within 15 minutes. The service tech tried a number of times to unlock the door but failed to do so. I guess he was in a hurry and decided he had enough and left. I had to call a taxi to get home, Dartmouth to Larry Utec $61.00. Now I have to drive over this morning with my extra keys and retrieve my truck. Contacted CAA last night, and was told I should have called a and asked for another service person. Not a happy customer!
Expérience fantastique: I accidently locked my keys in my truck( not supposed to happen). I'm at Dart Cross Walmart. I call CAA to see if they can help. ( I was totally embarrased) The lady on the phone was very kind & understanding said yes they can. Within 30 minutes of my call CAA arrived with their very cool Fq50 lightening. This guy was very friendly and within 3 minutes he got me in my truck. I was extatatic. Thank you CAA.

Expérience fantastique: There are angels in this world! I had to coordinate a car recall for my 86 year old Mom. Had 2 fantastic ladies who helped ensure that the pick up was smooth. Nicole and another lady (sorry did not get her name) to help with her account were over the top and made sure my Mom was in good hands. Mike the tow truck driver was ever better and ensured that my Mom would not be scammed by the dealership. I manage a Call Center and know how tough customer service is! If the rating was out of 10 stars your team would have got an 11! I was coordinating this from Ontario and it just reinforces how fantastic Maritime people are! Thanks Again Troy

Expérience fantastique: We are very pleased with CAA's onsite Otto Tire service. Our technician, Adam, was very professional and thorough in looking after both our vehicles. We highly recommend Adam and look forward to future service with him.
Expérience négative: I bought caa for my wife and daughter in case I wasn’t available and they could get help for whatever happens to the car. Well today my daughter breaks down and we are told that it’s only good for a 10 k tow and anything over that was $4 a km but when I signed up for it I was told it was for up to 160 km tow. So they suggested I upgrade but it takes 2 days to become effective. So much for peace of mind Thanks caa for adding more to our stressful stormy night.
Expérience négative: I truly don't see how you guys have received this many stars maybe no one has been treated like I have in the last four months I trade in my car over four months ago on the day of trade in a flat deck backs into my car ok no problem at all the company wants too pay out of pocket so I give them 15 days too come good for it after the 15 days were up I called caa my insurer and what a headache I began too have I put in a claim on dec15 2023 they don't even have my new car on file yet since nov30 2023 so that fine on the day of the claim a guy comes too my house and takes pictures then I get an email from im guessing my adjuster ok I take my car too oregans on feb1st 2024 too be repaired on that said day oregans calls me up too come get my car caa a tally still had my old car on my file and oregans ordered parts for my older car not the new one so ok now new parts are on back order and not a phone call from caa with not a drop of compensation at all customer relations was something else and im stillxsitting here march 24 2024 and no word on nothing oh but wait they are still takeing there payments just a heads up caa customers I've heard im not the only one going thru this with them

Expérience négative: Worst CAA office I have ever been to. Uninformed miserable people. I am a 50+ year Premium member and I have been in many CAA and AAA offices in many provinces and states and none have been as poor as the one. Don't waste your time coming to this place. If you want to become a member go to Dartmouth which is much better.

Expérience fantastique: Car battery died. Called CAA and they were here in 15 minutes on a sunny Saturday afternoon! Riley was most helpful and answered all of my questions. I chose to replace the battery and it was quick and painless. No need to tow it and be without my car until Monday. I've been a CAA Member for a number of years and they have always provided great service and arrived fast. Definitely worth the peace of mind to be a member!!!

Would rate it a 5-star except I didn't find the staff at the CAA office very friendly when I went in to both request and pick up trip tik, and they wanted to finish their personal conversation before attending to me while I waited. However, the trip tik was beautifully done. Would highly recommend CAA - had it years ago and wasn't happy at all with it, but it has improved immensely!

Expérience fantastique: As a widowed Senior Citizen, I grew up on loyalty to friends and Companies. I had been with an Automobile Broker for over 35 years, as the original owner was a personal friend on the family. Each year at renewal, I would check around for a better deal and most of the time, everything was the same or close so I kept my insurance. Over those years, I claimed a couple of windsheilds. This year my rates went up over $95. That was with my combined rental and car rate, as well as a special 17.5 discount and no claims. I felt loyalty would come into play but nothing they could do. One call to CAA and my coverage for my car went DOWN over $75 from Last year. My loyalty is now with CAA. I have been a CAA member as long as I can remember and will remain one. Check out what they can do for you!
Expérience négative: Went to Bayers lake as a CAA member to meet with a rep and book a trip. First day 3 people at counter and one person only available to plan and she was busy and told she will be on a conference call for the next 2 hours. Second day walked in again 4 people working but only 1 can help and she was with a client and another person waiting again to see same staff member. I asked if I could book an appointment and told I need to do so with the person already busy with customer and one waiting. Don’t waste your time going there as only one person outof 4 can help and there always busy. I was also going to renew my membership but I will think twice on renewing my CAA now.
