Expérience négative: CAA Niagara has a "Contact Us" link on their website, but don't expect a response if you actually try to reach out. I've sent emails and received nothing back. What's the point of offering support channels if you're going to ignore them?

Expérience négative: Very disappointing that I cannot cancel my mother's membership on the phone..they want a death certificate... My mother hasn't driven in a year..they could have called her to see if she was still driving..she was 91 trs old..they still took her annual payment though..

Expérience négative: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!! The customer service is useless the woman reads of a sheet of paper giving no aid. I have been waiting for 3 HOURS and they told me to wait 45 minutes, THEN when I called they told me to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes because the driver decided to go to another call. This company is USELESS, I have CAA+ and they treat me like this. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR especially during the winter.

Expérience négative: Very unhelpful and lazy people, we called for a tow and mentioned that car wasn’t turning on or going on Neutral, they sent an untrained driver that did not know anything or want to help, he fought with my husband and left, after talking to this office they did not do anything, my husband went to the office twice to speak to a manager but they did not help him and told him he will receive a call but he never did. The workers here do not talk properly and do not even try to help very disappointed in CAA for hiring such people

Expérience fantastique: Although it took quite some time, service provided by roadside assistance and then towing were awesome. Both men were truly gents and helpful. Especially Mike, the Tower, took the time to drop me off at our rental which was super appreciated since we are from out of province and had no additional vehicule. He delivered the car straight to the garage without me having to show up there. Makes things much less stressful for all of us. Thanks!

Expérience négative: Do not get a membership here is this location they have a new rule that if you need to use the towing benefit it only covers 100KM not even to Toronto (GTA) area. As a person that goes to Toronto on the weekends I am not happy with this new rule that I never was informed of. I have the premium card when I enrolled back in 2022 it cover me about 500km which was fine. I know you guys are not a towing company “like the lady on the phone told me”but we pay a membership and is not 5 dollar. Also this rule is only for this locations if you get a CAA in Hamilton is different and is like it used to be in Niagara . The new management made this new rule for this location only. My question is I got CAA mostly because of the towing benefit that you still Adversities. I got the premium the most expensive membership card why do I want to keep paying almost $200 dollar a year to get the same KM as a Plus member (SCAM)

Expérience négative: Very disappointed with the insurance side of CAA. All was great until u get a letter saying you have to get an immobilizer installed or they will force a surcharge on your policy. After spending almost $1400 for this specific device they removed the surcharge yet still raised my premium at renewal by 20%!! What a rotten move when I've had zero accidents, zero tickets, zero claims did everything they wanted with this anti theft device and they still screw me in the end. Corporations like this need to be fined for these types of situations. They have way to much control on what they can do to people. corruption at its finest

Expérience négative: I am very disappointed they let me 3 hours without the service and stuck on the road without roadside assistance. My cargo van had no breaks and I mentioned the urgency to get the vehicle to a shop to repair and get on the road asap. However, this never happened before still I am not getting the service as CAA promised for us not sure others getting thr serviced. I would not recommend this service to almost 200.00 for the membership and when needed no service on time.

Expérience fantastique: Had to use caa in niagara falls today. My family and I were at a camp site in the falls and went for a ride in the truck to the falls. We stopped at a store on the way back and when I got back to the truck, it would not start. Called caa and Mike came to help. Mike went above and beyond his job. Couldn't get it started so he called around to different parts stores to find a starter for the truck. He then found a mechanic to take the truck and towed it there then gave me ride back to the camp site. This all happened on Sunday of a long weekend. Thanks so much Mike!! You are truly a great person!!

Expérience fantastique: Setup appointment to get help with air flights, airport transfers, and hotel bookings. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. As we are CAA members, we qualified for discounts as well. Everything thing was handled quickly and efficiently.

Expérience fantastique: Not sure if this is the correct place to leave this review, but two of your tow operators just came through big time for me. Can't thank Rob and Tyler enough (I hope I got the names right). I was stranded on a muddy road in my work vehicle and nobody else would even attempt to get my car out. They saved me a $600 bill and probably some questions from my boss. Thanks again guys! Awesome work.

Expérience négative: Absolute JOKE. My daughter (in University) has a flat tire (blow out) needs replaced, and needs her car towed to me. I'm a licenced mechanic and fix her car at my residence. (have tire machines). CAA Niagara will not tow her car over 100kms from her home. She has to take it to a local garage. GREAT JOB CAA. Why pay for a service that you are then denied all because they may not make money this time on you.

Expérience négative: The agents are extremely rude in the Niagara region and they won’t even tow my car even thought I still have 4 tows left for the year and I have the premier card! I was advertised 1 500km tow, 2 250 km tow and 1 10km tow. My location that I wanted it towed to was only 170 km. She even told me to call a different towing company to get it towed. So rude! I will be canceling my membership as they are of no help. Brutal service, terrible customer survive, rude agents.

Expérience négative: Absolutely awful experience. My car broke down days ago about 2 hours from home. I called caa for roadside assistance, but they said there weren't any tows available until the next day. This was already an inconvenience seeing as I'm now stranded from home with no possible help. I had to get a hotel and call again the next day. Because of this I had to obviously push my car off the road and somewhere safe. The closest parking lot was a large gravel area WHICH HAPPENED to be the lot of a shop. I then called the next day for the tow - Jody took the call and told me that it couldn't be picked up because it was at a shop. Sorry, but I had only pushed it into that parking lot because your service WHICH I PAY FOR and have been a member of for several years, wasn't available. When i actually needed roadside assistance, it was not available. How does that make sense? Jody was extremely rude and said there's nothing that can be done. She then hung up when I tried to explain the situation- how it's not at a shop and how I only pushed it off the side of the road because I couldn't leave it on the side of the road overnight.

Expérience négative: I pay so much money every year for my plus membership, and whenever I am in need of a tow I have to wait over 2-3 hours, and it’s not like I can leave the car there and grab a ride home I have to wait in the cold for 3 hours so I can show them my membership… as if my id isn’t validated over the phone anyway. Extremely ridiculous and unacceptable wait times!

He was there in 40 minutes and we were treated with personable and professional care. Kudos to Chris for taking the stress out of this experience!

Expérience négative: The WORST!!!. 6 hours and still waiting for tow truck after an accident. Called them at midnight and still here waiting it’s almost 6-30 am . You’re better off calling a tow truck from a private company.

Expérience négative: Worst service ever. Last month I waited 2 hours on the left wing of the highway because my motorcycle broke down. A very dangerous spot to let someone wait for that long. Today I am waiting for over 3 hours for a tow. Absolutely horrible service.

I cal them 7.28 pm.. they said sorry it will be another hr..7.58 get message saying eta is 7.07 I text them it is 7.58 they sorry it will be 30 min..it is 8.20 and still nothing didn't even hear from the driver...shop was waiting for me they are closed now and good caaa did not even show up even if they come I don't know what to do..shop is closed

Expérience fantastique: March 28 2021 My car was dead today. It was either the stupid anti theft response or my battery is getting old. When I called CAA the lady (I didn't catch her name) was very good, sympathetic, and very professional. The young man who can to my rescue was fabulous! He went well over and above getting me started again. He also sprayed some anti-corrosion stuff to help with battery life. He then went ahead and topped up the air in my tires. All of this in the rain. I usually do everything for myself so this treatment made me feel so special. It was a great way to flip a bad start to my day. I wish I knew your names to give a personal shout out. Thank you again folks

Expérience fantastique: Best service going. You can sign up on the spot in about 5 minutes or less over the phone. Someone came out within 15 minutes and solved the issue in under 1 minute. For only 64 bucks a year it can't be beat. They have the nicest people that come out to help you.

In the past we have enjoyed CAA's service from insurance to trips to getting our tires changed. We are having our first terrible experience as far as insurance cancelation due to a medical reason. We are hoping it will turn out. I must say this is the first complaint about CAA which we have always had great respect and admiration for.
