Expérience fantastique: Cortney knocked it out of the park for our recent visit to Varadero. Hit all of wants bang on and then some. Trip went off without a single hiccup. Expérience fantastique: My husband and I recently had Ashley Harold from Flight Centre at Fairview Mall in Burlington location assist us to find a trip to the Dominician Republic. What we liked about Ashley is that she listened to what we actually wanted. Not showing us resorts we would not be interested in and also staying within our budget. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We will be using Ashley for our future travel. I recommend anyone wanting assistance to plan a trip to contact her. With her help we chose the Bahai Principe Grand La Romania. The beach was awesome next to no seaweed and never a problem to get chairs at either the beach or pool. The food in the Buffet was very good. We also went to the A La Carte Restaurants which were great and booking a reservation was simple on the screen located in the lobby. It was a quieter resort

Expérience négative: This has been such a frustrating experience for my wife and I. This is our first family trip with our 2-year old TRIPLETs and 8 year old. We were assued this would be a smooth process and our flight centre agent would be there to assist and help us with anything we needed. As soon as things were booked and we passed the cancellation date, issues started to arise: - our rooms are not guaranteed to be together, so some of our children may be in a different room in another part of the hotel with my in-laws --- THEY ARE 2!!!! - none of the rooms have bath tubs -- how are we supposed to bathe small children without a bath tub? - the 'cribs' that the hotels offer are for infants and are too small for toddlers, and they don't offer any other alternatives (and according to our agent, she wasn't able to communicate effectively with the hotel so that they understood our ask for cots) - bathing and a safe space to sleep for children are necessities, they are not 'requests' that could differ from family to family - when booking our seats on the airplane, again, 4 of us are on one part of the plane and 4 of us are on another part leaving my wife and I separte from 2 of our children (there was 'nothing' she could do) ---- all of the seats have been assigned, even though we booked this trip almost an entire year ago - my wife has been left to come up with costly alternatives to EVERYTHING becuase a) she can't do anything and b) she failed to tell us these basic items before booking a trip that is costing us over $20k Do yourself a favour, book with another location. Our flight centre agent is Vicki -- who clearly reads off a script and repets her answers over and over when she 'can't' help. UPDATE: as you cannot comment after a comment as been made --- yes they reached out but nothing was done. Empty apologies but no movement or offers to compensate or fix the problems that the inital agent caused. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM !!! USE SOMEONE ELSE !!! NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!

Expérience fantastique: Flight centre is the epitome of professionalism and excellence. I walked into flight centre in Burlington and Sam D. looked after me. She was maticulous when it came to detail. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was put in place from not only the cruise but the flight and hotel reservations. She looked for the best deals possible. She sent me follow up emails to ensure that everything ran smoothly. This was a first time on a cruise and it won't be my last. I'm now an addict. Expérience négative: I can't work with this group any longer. I had some poor experiences with one of their reps in the past, and believed maybe it was just a one off, but this year with another rep, it wasn't much better. I basically planned my trip to Spain, and needed some feedback on what I had chosen and for them to arrange flights, rental cars and train tickets. In addition, I asked for ideas and quotes for a spring trip for 6 people to either Aruba, Caracao or Barbados. We booked the Spain trip months in advance but I was still chasing them for our travel package with booking reference number for flight, hotel and train "the day before we left" so I could print and load it into my app. Told Club Class Air Transat seating provided lounge access which it did not. I provided feedback on all of this to the rep and have not heard anything back including our spring trip to the Islands! Must be nice to have so much business that you can ignore repeat customers.

Expérience négative: I booked a flight for my family to England and they sent an email saying they had to cancel my reservation. I booked a new flight and they emailed again saying they had to cancel my other reservation. I called and they said I should just book directly with the airline. So I was not able to successfully book with them, but they were able to successfully hold $10k on my card for my trouble.

They did not fall throw with canceling a hotel for me so l lost my money and it as not a little amount and as for the air tickets l still to this day have not got my ticket voucher from Air Canada so l can use it . All l get is a big run around.

Expérience négative: Stopped by the flight centre to enquire about prices to Australia. The lady stated that the flights wouldn't be less than 3k from Toronto. I told her that sounded odd as I've never paid higher than that before and she argued that Australia is far and they are always over 3k. Anyways, I went home and booked my flight (same stop overs) for $1900. I know alot of these locations are closing down and now I can see why. Why have someone to try argue you into a higher cost when you can just get it cheaper online yourself?

This lady showed me and my kids the highest level of racism very condescending last was throwing prices that I know was irrelevant because she didn't want to help with booking because of our skin color as if being hard working nurse coming off a 12 hiurs shift wasn't hard enough trying to give my kids a trip to Disney world wasn't something this black lady should be doingI had to remember my skin color and walked away telling her forget about it.

Expérience négative: We stopped in at this location hoping to acquire more in depth information regarding questions we had about a couple different resorts . We were dealing with a lady by name of Vicki . Understandably she was not able to provide immediate answers but assured us we would hear back from her next business day , took my name , number and email . That was 3 weeks ago , still no word back from Vicki ! We have since booked our very expensive vacation through another agency ! Flight Centre went as far as sending an email questionnaire requesting feedback on our satisfaction with the service received 4 days ago and lo and behold no further follow up on my response to that either ! In conclusion I take that as Flight Centre is not about customer service nor do they care about wasting your time ! This organization has not only lost out on the sale of this trip but any others going forward from us ! (Typically twice a year )

Expérience fantastique: Briana Richardson, at the Burlington ON office, did a fabulous job booking a combination Italy Trafalgar coach & car rental trip! She was prompt, answered all our questions, and helped solve tricky timing issues with both the car rental and a short Palermo to Rome flight. Best of all, Briana got us meaningful discounts with Trafalgar. Previously, Briana was a life-saver in helping us avoid potential losses on a COVID-canceled cruise that the cruise line was set to stiff us on. Bottom line: Briana is an amazing asset for Flight Centre.

Expérience fantastique: My fiancée and I have been using flight centre since 2018 and we have loved every bit of it, once we found our agent Courtney Cahusac it has been nothing but hassle free choices, documents, travelling, and memories that’ll last a life time. Courtney has been such a pleasure to ALWAYS work with, our favourite thing is we feel like she just knows us so well and our travel wants and EVERY booking with her has been absolutely perfect. She worked with my fiancée to plan the perfect get away engagement it was so beautiful and we will never forget it. Expérience négative: Worst experience ever! These people are super nice up until you pay in full. After that they don't even know you! We had a lot of flight distruptions, we tried to communicate with them, they never answer, reply to messages or emails. Their emergency line is a joke! We received a call from Sunwing a day before our trip that our flight time has changed, my husnand went to their office as they weren't picking up the phone and their manager was the ruddest person ever, refusing to listen to my husband's concerns or giving us options in case our flight got further delays (which happened and we were 34 hrs delayed). Family of 6 with 4 kids, being stuck in the airport on Christmas for 34 hrs wasn't an emergency in their manager's opinion!!We lost 3 days of our 8 days vacation and guess what? They didn't acknowledge it! Don't deal with them. You can easily book your own vacation through Expedia.

Expérience négative: We contacted agent Briana Richardson at Burlington Flight Centre with an inquiry for a trip to be scheduled one month from now. She replied two days later to say she was looking into options. She sent a message 1 day later saying there were no flights departing from our city, though I could see some available online. Apparently they don't book with this airline. I asked (in the same email thread, minutes later) if she could provide the other trip info I had requested (excursions and hotels) and I could book the discount flight myself. She did not respond and I later received an email saying she was on vacation herself for a week or more. I received no help, lost days of planning and was not referred to another agent. This is abysmal customer service.

Not only did she find a great price but she also made the process stress free and easy. I’m usually one to buy my own flights through third party websites but this time I wasn’t having any luck and I was referred to Briana as I was told she’s the best at what she does. Expérience fantastique: I'm usually someone who books flights myself through 3rd party websites to try and get deals. However, this time that didn't work out so great, and I regret not booking directly through Flight Centre, particularly with Briana! Long story short, after paying an unusually high fare for a flight I've taken many times before, the 3rd party booking site emailed me 2 days later letting me know they couldn't confirm my booking, and the alternate options they were offering didn't work for me (not to mention they were impossible to reach). So I got in contact with Briana and she not only found an alternative flight that worked for me, but she was also able to get me a better price than what I paid through the 3rd party booking site! Safe to say I'll be using Briana for my future bookings :)

She had taken my information down including email and phone number and said someone would call me in the morning and be able to assist me and possibly get me to an agent to sit with on Saturday morning. Never heard from anybody at this location took my business to sell off vacation. Don’t waste your time calling this place sell off vacation is the best. I guess they don’t need the business.

Expérience négative: This sort of service is outdated and intended for a lazy planner, flight center is completely useless and overpriced. above all they dont even do their jobs, i was told i'd have options by the end of the following day, two days later and not even an email. but when you walk in the place theyre all socializing haha, i honestly laugh at this place, i highly suggest you used EXPEDIA to book a flight, TRIVAGO to book a place to stay, and KAYAK to rent vehicles. you WILL find cheaper, better, and faster. out of curiosity i looked on their werbsite and found the SAME EXACT flight, with a $400 MARKUP!! INSANITY! i cant even wrap my head around how these people stay open if this is how they conduct business, im sorry to myself for even trying, have a happy vacation. or with these people, good luck LOL

Expérience négative: Do not use this location (or even Flight Centre in general) for your booking needs. I had booked a family vacation back in December to Mexico. A week before we were supposed to leave, I had access to our travel documents and noticed that they were booked with us flying out of a different city from where we live. The agent we used (who works here) did not take accountability for their mistake and made it seem like it was Sunwing’s fault when it was not. I did ask them to have a manager contact me. Human error happens, I get that. I would have expected a manager to contact right away as we had to move our vacation which was incredibly inconvenient and not what one would expect when utilizing an agent. I was informed that they told their manager, Ryan Milne who is the branch manager for this location. It has now been 9 days and I have not heard from him at all. Clearly communication is not part of the company ethos if the agent lies, we know their training is coming from their leader. This could have been remedied easily but because Ryan (and I have also contacted the complaint line who have also not gotten back to me) has refused communication even after I called him, I am thoroughly upset. Not only did they ruin our experience for a first family trip, they disrupted our lives completely for having to rebook everything, have not apologized and have refused to communicate. Clearly customer service is not a priority either. Do NOT use this location or company. They do not care about you and will cease communication after taking your money.

Expérience négative: After requesting a price on a specific hotel, I was given the wrong information and unable to book. Then was given "options" that had absolutely nothing on my "wishlist". When I found the correct info myself, I was able to book at the original hotel requested, and paid the fee via my visa debit. I received a confirmation, from flight centre, telling me my payment was accepted, so I got on with my weekend! Briana did not call me to tell me the payment had not gone through, rather sent an email which I was not expecting and didn't follow up with a phone call. She had absolutely NO professionalism, and by the time she felt like dealing with this problem, the vacation was no longer available. She gave me no options to secure the booking. When I confronted her about this, she deflected and took absolutely no responsibility. She blamed me. Super unprofessional! Don't book with these amateurs. Go to a professional! Wrong info given should have tipped me off in the start, that I will be accountable for. Now I'm paying over $1000 more than I was originally quoted, thanks a lot Briana! I'll never try to book with flight centre again. Stick to your professional agents!

Expérience fantastique: I have always used a travel consultant because they know the ins and outs. Suzanne Harriman has booked many, many vacations for me and our friends including our cruise that we got married on. Thankfully we used her when booking our trip for March 2020. She has rebooked this trip 5 times now and we are going in 3 weeks. Have booked everything from flights, to all inclusives to multiple cruises for my husband and myself and our best friends. She always knows exactly what we like and never disappoints with her suggestions. You can reach her and ask any question and she is quick to get back to you. Would highly recommend.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent service from the Burlington location! I booked a flight that was unfortunately postponed due to travel restrictions. The entire process of the original booking as well as rebooking was great! My customer experience with Mary at the Burlington location left me sure in my future travel bookings. Positive through and through, Mary was great, caring, diligent and so easy to work with! She was promptly responsive in working with me at changing my travel plans and rebooking during the crazy holiday season. No hassle, incredible professionalism and the best customer service I’ve had ever booking travel plans. I plan to book with Mary again and would highly recommend this location as well as the great staff that work within it! Bravo!

Expérience négative: In January, 2020 booked a trip to Italy for July 6, 2020. I paid a small deposit. Obviously cannot go now. Have heard NOT. ONE. WORD. from the agent I booked with. She told me she would be contacting me on May 22 regarding the payment of the balance of my trip. I heard nothing, zero, zilch. I anticipated at least a 'So sorry your trip cannot happen' and related discussion about the disposition of my deposit. Thankfully, I prepared myself for the loss of the deposit. It doesn't change the fact that I consider this poor - scratch that - NON-EXISTENT customer service. I emailed Flight Centre to tell them how disappointed I was at the lack of communication and heard nothing back from them either. I'm glad I found out about the poor customer service before dropping the entire $4,000 because now when I'm ready to book I can go with someone who cares about their customers.

Expérience fantastique: My husband and I went here to plan our honeymoon. Our agent was Maria Spitman. She was absolutely fantastic. We told her where we wanted to go and what we really wanted to do. And she planned the entire thing for us, hotels/villas, transfers, excursions! It made things so easy for us as we were still planning our wedding at the time. She always answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm. She honestly made the whole experience great. Even when our layover in China (our trip was planned for February, so right before COVID spread worldwide) was cancelled. She helped us find a last minute, new flight which got us there with only one day loss! She really eased our anxiety. And we’re very grateful. It was the most amazing trip!

Expérience négative: I travel frequently and do my research online to find the best times and rates for vacations, but still like to use Flight Centre when I am finally ready to book. Speaking with someone directly and picking up printed documents was a nice touch. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. Everything can be done online. I asked for some prices on a flight to Vegas from Toronto to see if they could price match around $540.00. They were able to find one for $532.00 which I agreed to but when my bill came, a charge of $19+tax (Captain's Package) was added. I asked for this to be waived as I didn't require it, but was informed that this is mandatory. Apparently this is something new they have implemented? A deal on the flight ended up costing more than what I found on my own! I found the same flights for $485 using SkyScanner from the Air Canada website to compare, but was told these were for a basic economy ticket and she recommended a standard economy. I took this as a learning experience and in future, will book any flight only or all-inclusive trips myself as I see no real benefit going through an agent. Even if they were to price match, they would have to beat it by $20 (Captain's Package charge) just to stay competitive.

Expérience positive: I booked a trip to the middle East but had to cancel due to an unfortunate circumstance. I dealt with Sonya and she is absolutely AMAZING. She is knowledgable, quick to respond and literally takes care of every plan from start to finish. She even took care of my cancellation and fought to get some money refunded when I thought we were getting nothing back. I will use flight Ancaster again because of Sonya. The 4 star is due to back and forth with other staff who didn't seem to know what was going on which was a little frustrating. (I do get that days get busy and stuff happens). All in all, it was my first time using a travel agent and I had a great experience!
