Expérience fantastique: What a great tour! Loved it, a rare and good mix of hiking and cities! If you are like me and love to hike/be outdoors more than the cities, Jared and his tour guides are always open to changing it up to suit. I would recommend doing the actives on offer, you don't want to miss out of the fun to be had!! Such a great group of people too! But be warned the bus music is not to every ones taste!! Expérience fantastique: Wow, where do I even start…I can genuinely say that the three weeks I spent on my Out Here Tour were some of the funniest weeks of my life thus far! I was hesitant booking any tour at first, as I’m the type of person who generally likes to do their own thing at their own pace. However, as I continued researching Canada, I realised that all the things I wanted to see were very far away from each other, and some only really accessible by car, and I’m not old enough to hire one. So when Out Here popped up on my Instagram, I seriously started to consider a tour as a way to see everything I wanted to. From reading the itineraries and other reviews, I could sense that this tour was exactly what I wanted - flexible, geared towards younger people, and including the adventurous activities that I love. For starters, camping in Algonquin Park was an awesome way to bond with the rest of the group - we hiked, swam and canoed (including watching and laughing at the group that capsized) all in the first day. On the way to Ottawa came one of my favourite parts of the trip…white water rafting! We spent an amazing day on the Ottawa River - riding the rapids, swimming, jumping off rocks and then having lunch. By the end of the day my arms hurt from paddling but my stomach hurt from laughing so hard when people fell out of the raft. I had an awesome time in Quebec City, and really started to form bonds with the members of the group. Leaving the cities far behind and heading up to Tadoussac was awesome. The hostel we stayed was quirky but an absolutely awesome time and we saw an incredible amount of whales (up close!) whilst whale-watching. The place we stayed at in Bay of Fundy was homey and the town itself very quaint - had an awesome time sea-kayaking. Our guide Joe was really flexible when the guy in the coffee shop suggested a good swimming spot in the Fundy National Park, and we had a wonderful time swimming in a beautiful river before having fish and chips. The hikes and scenery in Cape Breton was one of my highlights - the hikes we did were some of my favourite. Joe was really good at explaining the different options available for different levels of experience and fitness, and ensured that everyone did what they were comfortable with. We visited this incredible swimming spot in an abandoned quarry that had been filled in - which was a welcome cool-off after a hike to a wonderful lookout. On my last day I was so sad to leave the amazing friends that I had made over my time in Canada - and I desperately wished that I had booked the Big One Tour! I could not recommend Out Here more…I am so glad I choose to explore Canada with them and so grateful for all the wonderful things I got to see and the people I got to meet. Expérience fantastique: This trip was the end of a 6 month journey for me. I'd already visited Australia, New Zealand and the west coast of canada. and, I can honestly say that a lot of my highlights will be from this trip. We had some great times and I met some incredible people! It's really hard to pinpoint some highlights because there were so many for me. But, I loved visiting the cities, which I didn't expect, I thought the nature side would be the best. But, Quebec was amazing (especially the nightlife!), Halifax was fun (the axe throwing a little highlight) and Montreal had some amazing food places! But, I also enjoyed staying in some places that I wouldn't have done otherwise; the hostel at Tadoussac is really fun, the band were incredible and we all had a lot of fun playing on the stilts outside. The Seashack, in Gaspesie is an experience in itself, sleeping in a yurt, basically on the beach and partying next to a bonfire. Some of the hikes we did were also amazing! My personal favourite was Blueberry Hill in Cape Breton, the views were incredible. But I also enjoyed the last hike in Bic national park. I would 100% recommend the white water rafting, which is an added extra. Completely worth the money and is so fun, it also helps the group bonding as it is on the third day. All in all, I would recomend the tour if you want to see the east of canada. It's easy, a good price and you see spots you wouldn't have done otherwise:)

Expérience fantastique: Eastern Canada has so much to offer and the Big One trip is the perfect way to explore it. Janelle, our tour leader, was fantastic and went out of her way to ensure we all had the best experience possible. Even though it’s an organised tour it was flexible and tailored to our group. For example, Janelle would give us options for our stop-offs and activities; something our group really appreciated. There’s something for everyone too, so don’t be put off if you’re not into thrill seeking activities such as via Ferrata and Rafting... they definitely weren’t my cup of tea but the endless sunsets, beautiful hikes, amazing food and stunning wildlife more than made up for that! I liked travelling in a small group too as you quickly get to know one another and there was plenty of bus banter (and singalongs). Communication from Jared before, during and after the tour was excellent. You can tell that a lot of planning has gone into each of the routes and that the company are keen to ensure you get the most from your trip. Jared is always open to feedback and suggestions too. If you’re not sure whether to book an Out Here Tour my advice would be do it, you won’t regret it! Small group tours like this are rare in the East, so it felt very exciting to be part of something that’s so new.

Expérience fantastique: I have been living and working in Canada on an IEC and it was the end of my work visa and I wanted to see as much of this beautiful country as I could. I considered driving there from BC but decided it was a bit far for me on my own, I thought about flying over and taking the train or hiring a car but looked at the expenses of it and it was just going to cost so much without factoring in anything to do. I had also looked at East Coast trips and couldn't find anything that was just doing Canada while giving a good opportunity to really see everything besides the major cities. I stumbled across Out Here travel through a third party agent and had a look at the website and thought it suited me for exactly what I was after. Because someone else is driving for you which means you can nap, catch up with emails or facebook, watch movies or listen to the music of the area as provided by Jared. The trip that I did was The Big One and it was great to be able to see so much of Eastern Canada in one trip. My favourite place that we visited was probably Tadoussac, we had an amazing whale watching experience and trekked some sand dunes and it was just an adorable, relaxing town. The hostel we stayed in had communal dinners and some fun outdoor team building type activities so it was chilled out and relaxed. The bucket list item for me was seeing Hopewell rocks in New Brunswick with the 14m tides and loved Quebec city. Heading out in Fall (September trip) was a great time to go to avoid a lot of the crowds and to see some of the amazing fall foliage with its array of colours. I can absolutely recommend this trip as it is easy, stress free, a good balance of time with new friends and time alone, unique experiences and accommodations (including a jail!) great value for money and quick responses (I booked 2 weeks before departing)

Expérience fantastique: Highly recommend anyone wanting to check out the east coast of Canada to jump on The Big One tour with Out Here Travel. What a whirlwind month it was! Huge thanks to our tour guide and friend Jared for going out of his way to make the trip once in a lifetime. There are so many things I would've missed out on if I attempted to do this trip on my own, including lots of awesome hikes that Jared encouraged me to do and I was so glad that I did. Jared went out of his way to show us little gems that I wouldn't have ever known about; from hidden mines to swim in, to cute little bars in the city with an artist who would play whatever you wanted on request. It's hard to single out my favorite part of the tour but a few highlights would be; sunsets in Algonquin park and Cape Breton, rafting the Ottawa river, and the whale watching in Tadoussac will be an experience I'll never forget. This tour had the perfect mix of exploring cities, quaint little country towns and amazing national parks. Shout out to the people on this trip that made it what it was; a month full of adventures, laughs and a bloody good time!

Expérience fantastique: I did the 26 day Big One tour, starting in May. This was a great trip and an awesome way to explore the east coast. I loved all the everywhere we visited, its a beautiful place with some spectacular views by the road side or after a long hike. My favourite activity was the Via ferrata and axe throwing! It is a lot of driving on some days but well worth it especially as someone else dose the driving for you.

Expérience fantastique: I did 15 days with outheretravel and the trip was the best way to see the East Coast from whale watching (Humpbacks,finwhale,blue Whale) that were inches away from the boat to white water rafting on the Ottawa river, great company/crew to do it with, really recommend these activities to do on the trip. We covered an lot in the 2 weeks plus. Our guide Janelle was awesome as well, informative of everything we were doing that day and days afterwards in the places we were staying/visiting plus entertaining the group on the bus with movies for the longer drives and music from the regions as well. Also approachable in asking questions with anything to do in the places visited. I only did the 15 days as I was travelling the rest of the East Coast with an mate but I recommend the 26 days tour if you by yourself but 15 days was great as well.

Expérience fantastique: I was so glad I choose the Big One Trip (26 days) as it was the perfect way to see the East Coast of Canada in a small group tour. There is a perfect blend of sightseeing, hiking, camping and activities arranged on this trip. The guys did a fantastic job on picking all the locations that you get to go. I particularly enjoyed doing the Via Ferrata and all the amazing hostels that were chosen. I would highly recommend Out There Travel and this amazing adventure that the have put in place.

Expérience fantastique: I took part in The Big One, a 26 day adventure going from Toronto, all the way up the coast to Cape Breton and back again. Although this was my first "tour bus" trip as soon as it started I knew it wasn't going to be a boring touristy trip. During the day, we'd be on the road to the next activity such as hiking, white water rafting, via feratta (climbing the side of a waterfall), sea kayaking, and we even got to give surfing a go which wasn't an original plan on the trip. The accomodation was also real cool, from a rustic lodge for the whole group to a jail hostel in downtown Ottawa, there was a lot of variety and new experiences. When we first got on the bus, although it was early in the morning Jared aka Jazza our driver/guide/friend was already full of energy getting us hyped up for the first stop in Algonquin Park. As the trip went on he definitely seemed to become more our friend than our tour guide, but still kept his professionalism when it was needed. If you're an outdoorsy person and like the idea of going with the flow I highly recommend booking a trip!

Expérience fantastique: Absolut must do when in Canada! I have done two Trips with Out here - "The big One" and "Winterwild" and absolutly loved both of them. Before going onto the trips I'd never thought I'd ever find another place as beautiful as New Zealand, but Jared has convinced me that Canada is actually at least as beautiful! Also I am not a fan of organised tours at all, but I totally recommend this one. It didn't feel like a guided tour but more like a roadtrip with a bunch of friends. The itinary is quite flexible so there is no pressure to do any of the activities that are planed/ recommended if you don't feel like it (eventhough they are totally worth doing) and Jared the driver guide always tries to accommodate additional activities you might be interested in. He also has a great knowledge of the country and is happy to share this and the canadian culture - there is lots of local music he passionately shares and activities that will give you the chance to experience the culture first hand - like oyster shucking, or authentic places with local live music. Both trips are a well balanced combination of cities and national parks, so no matter if you are more of a city or a nature person, there are great places for either preference. The destinations on the route are carefully picked and are a good mix of "must-sees" and off the beaten track destinations. My personal highlights on "The big one" have been Cape Breton Island and Gaspesie with its stunning sceneries! On the "Winterwild" Trip I liked the place we stayed near Algonquin Park and the little town Baie- St.- Paul best. The accommodation is a combination of camping (in summer) in beautiful national parks with stargazing and campfires, cabins and hostels - some of them are quite unique and will give you a great experience that goes beyond the standard hostel thing. The activities along the way are fun and I would recommend to do at least some of them. One the trip in summer the absolute highlight for me was the white water rafting and in winter I found the tobagoning was the most fun! Besides that there was a variety of different stuff to do from hikes, to canoeing, kayaking, horse riding and so much more in summer and snowshoeing, ice skating, skiing/snowboarding, cross country skiing, tobagoning, dogsleding, snow tubing and more in winter! And for those who are keen, there have also been some opportunities to enjoy the nightlife with relaxed bonfires on beautiful beaches or bars and pubs in the cities. Such a great experience and I am so happy I went on the trips! Thanks Jared!

Expérience fantastique: Best way to discover the Canadian east coast !! I initially wanted to organise my own east coast trip, but when I saw that Out Here do all the recommended places, worry free, not expensive, and allowing you to enjoy the fun of a small group of like-minded people I didn't hesitate to join! No regrets! There's 4/5 nights camping/glamping, and the rest in hostels; each has a specific charm (staying in an old jail, in a hippy sea shack, in the heart of old Quebec) which makes it always exciting to discover. The cities and landscapes you visit are really diverse and beautiful, a few are earned after long hikes. Many places to swim too. You come across some wildlife (whales, moose). The guide takes you to some great places to visit and eat ; meals are a mix of eating out in delicious local places and buying groceries to do your own stuff. Highly recommend for any adventure lover!

Expérience fantastique: The Big One tour is an incredible way to see Canada’s East Coast! Every day we had the option to do activities like rafting, kayaking, canoeing, via ferrata, whale watching, hiking and sightseeing. There is no pressure to do any of the activities that are planed/ recommended if you don't feel like it (even though they are totally worth doing). The flexibility was great and the overall flow of the trip was perfect - mixing between cities and the great outdoors. Lots to do, but not rushed so you could really get into it. We had a small but great group of solo travellers so had plenty of room on the bus and lots of flexibility to stop when we wanted. The seats were comfy and the side windows were big providing nice views. Joe our guide did a great job driving us all around Central & East Canada and running the trip smoothly. He has a great knowledge of the country and is happy to share this and the Canadian culture. His local for each province was also great. We stayed together in hostel dorms most of the time with the option to upgrade to a single room if we wanted for some locations. The accommodations were great. We stayed in classic hostels (and a jail), yurts by the beach, little cabins in national parks, and most had local charms (all of them outside of the cities). We also camped a few nights in some amazing National parks and got to cook on the open fire. This was a great authentic experience. Some of my favourite national parks (well all of them) were Algonquin Park and Cape Breton. The big hike in Gaspesie was spectacular also. Joe ensured we did some really unique things that no other tour companies do - like a sunset hike, beach bonfires and showing us some of the unique local spots in cities. My highlights were the hikes in the national parks, live music, beach sunsets, poutine and fun nights out with the group. It was such a great experience and I would highly recommend this trip!

Expérience fantastique: I joined Out Here in Quebec City, since I had to opt for the trip called "Almost Big One" (which means I missed Ontario). It was amazing. Just before that, I'd had a pretty lonely journey by myself for 3 weeks, and when it was finally time to join the group in Quebec, I was overwhelmed with how friendly and welcoming everyone was. They had already developed inside jokes, and seemed to be getting along like friends who'd known each other for years. I quickly ended up being adopted by the group, and soon I felt like I had known them for a long time as well. The social aspect of this journey is one that fills a lot, and it was what meant the most to me out of everything on this journey. And even in spite of that, I was blown away by many of the things we saw. We got so close to whales that they could blow water on us, we stumbled upon a moose and her two calves in tow (we were less than 10 meters away because they were so close to the trail!), and we also survived Hurricane Dorian together! So many more things happened on this 21 day long journey, and they were all made so much better by the fact that I was in good company! Speaking of good company, there is also the question of our tour guide! My group was blessed with Janelle, a wonderful person who made this trip so much better! She knew her stuff about all the things we saw, and always had a fun fact to throw out there when we passed something interesting! She even made "the lighthouse game", in which we had to call out all the lighthouses we could see from the bus, with the winner recieving a prize! And the best thing? She didn't feel like that much of a tour guide, more like another friend (who knew how to drive a bus) on this wonderful journey across Quebec and The Maritimes! It's also both a challenging and relaxing trip. You will be challenged by some of the hikes (if you choose to go on them), but we also went to a spa one afternoon to unwind from a very long hike. But remember, every activity is optional, and you can do what you want wherever the bus takes you! All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this trip for anyone who wants to travel, but knows that they don't want to do it alone. You will be in good company! I made so many good memories on this trip, and all I can say is thank you, Out Here and Team Beaver! You made my trip to Canada 10 times better!

Expérience fantastique: I was happy to book with Out Here Travel. Janelle was our tour guide for the Quicky Trip from Toronto to Montreal. It was with a small group tour where people from different parts of the world who wanted to see beautiful places in Eastern Canada for a week. We went to Algonquin Park, Ottawa, Mont Tremblant, and Montreal. This trip was amazing since it offered a balance of adventures, sightseeing, and fun. Activities were camping, hiking, canoeing, swimming, cooking, campfire, stargazing, and sightseeing. There were days we ended the day with games, eating and drinks to cap off the night. I got to meet, know and build friendships with an amazing group of people during the trip. I definitely enjoyed this trip because of the amazing people I got to know, share stories with, learned life experiences and went together on adventures during the trip. I will always remember and look back at this trip for years to come. If you are a solo backpacker who wants to get out of your comfort zone, see amazing places, go on a budget-friendly trip, meet amazing people, and have everything planned out, then Out Here Travel is the way to go! Expérience fantastique: Je recommande chaleureusement à quiconque envisage de faire le tour Big One avec Out Here de considérer l'exploration de l'Est du Canada. Ce sont 26 jours de paysages incroyables, de superbes activités et de lieux idylliques. Ce n'est vraiment pas une expérience que l'on pourrait recréer par soi-même. Le tour a quelque chose pour tout le monde, nous avons visité des villes comme Montréal, Halifax et Québec. Mais le vrai plaisir du voyage se trouve dans la grande nature, dans des endroits comme le parc Algonquin, le Cap-Breton et l'île du Prince-Édouard. C'est vraiment un tour pour les aventuriers de 18 à 39 ans et nous avions un excellent groupe de personnes venant du monde entier, dirigé par notre guide toujours joyeux et compétent, Jared. Nous avons partagé des expériences brillantes et créé de grandes amitiés. Il y a tant de choses à voir et à faire avec des activités comme le kayak, le rafting, l'observation des baleines et l'escalade en plein air, toutes incontournables. J'ai tant de merveilleux souvenirs de ce voyage et je le recommande à 100 %.

Expérience fantastique: Meilleure façon de découvrir la côte est canadienne !! J'avais initialement voulu organiser mon propre voyage sur la côte est, mais quand j'ai vu qu'Out Here proposait tous les endroits recommandés, sans souci, pas cher, et permettant de profiter de l'amusement d'un petit groupe de personnes partageant les mêmes idées, je n'ai pas hésité à les rejoindre ! Aucun regret ! Il y a 4/5 nuits de camping/glamping, et le reste dans des auberges ; chacune a un charme spécifique (séjourner dans une vieille prison, dans une cabane de hippie en bord de mer, au cœur du Vieux Québec) ce qui rend toujours la découverte excitante. Les villes et les paysages que vous visitez sont vraiment diversifiés et beaux, quelques-uns se méritent après de longues randonnées. Il y a aussi beaucoup d'endroits pour nager. Vous croisez une faune sauvage (baleines, orignaux). Le guide vous emmène dans de superbes endroits à visiter et à manger ; les repas sont un mélange de repas dans de délicieux endroits locaux et de courses pour faire vos propres plats. Je recommande vivement pour tout amateur d'aventure !

Expérience fantastique: J'étais très content d'avoir choisi le Big One Trip (26 jours) car c'était le moyen parfait de découvrir la côte est du Canada lors d'une visite en petit groupe. Il y a un parfait mélange de visites touristiques, de randonnées, de camping et d'activités organisées lors de ce voyage. Les gars ont fait un travail fantastique en choisissant tous les lieux que vous allez visiter. J'ai particulièrement aimé faire la Via Ferrata et tous les incroyables auberges qui ont été choisies. Je recommande vivement Out There Travel et cette incroyable aventure qu'ils ont mise en place.

Expérience fantastique: Un incontournable si vous êtes intéressé à visiter les provinces de l'Est du Canada et que vous ne voulez pas suivre tous les circuits touristiques ! En tant que voyageur solo, j'ai réservé le GRAND pour tirer le maximum de mon voyage - et ce que j'ai reçu était encore bien plus, j'ai vraiment vécu le meilleur moment de ma vie ! Comme cette visite inclut beaucoup d'expériences en nature - ce que je recherchais particulièrement en plus de voir les villes les plus importantes en cours de route - le groupe était composé de personnes âgées de 18 à 39 ans qui avaient plus ou moins les mêmes intérêts, ce qui facilite les relations. De plus, la taille du groupe était parfaite - pas trop grand, donc nous avons facilement trouvé notre esprit d'équipe pendant nos 2 premières nuits au camping dans le Parc Algonquin. Et Jared a fait tout son possible pour répondre aux intérêts de chacun. Grâce à ses efforts, j'ai pu participer à une sortie à cheval pour cavaliers expérimentés même si ce n'était pas une activité régulière proposée pendant le voyage. Mais ce qui a vraiment rendu ce voyage si spécial et absolument inoubliable, c'est le dévouement de Jared à son pays ! Il adore simplement être avec des gens du monde entier et leur montrer son beau, merveilleux, incroyable pays sous tous ses aspects possibles ! Il s'assure de vous fournir toutes les informations nécessaires peu importe où vous allez : cartes de randonnée détaillées, meilleurs restaurants ou épiceries et sites incontournables en ville, et il emmène ceux qui sont intéressés dans ses endroits préférés. J'ai aimé aller à la boîte à chanson à Québec et j'ai simplement adoré le Ceilidh auquel nous sommes allés à l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard !!! Jared a préparé une playlist spéciale pour chaque province que nous avons visitée, incluant de la musique d'artistes et de groupes locaux. J'ai tant apprécié cela, j'écoute encore mes chansons préférées du voyage et cela me ramène tout droit ICI <3

Expérience fantastique: Un voyage merveilleux ! Je recommande vivement le Big One Trip ! 26 jours de : - paysages à couper le souffle, - activités de plein air (randonnée, rafting, kayak, canoë, observation des étoiles, surf dans l'Atlantique, observation des baleines, ...), - hébergements vraiment agréables (gîte dans la forêt, yourte sur les rives de Saint-Laurent, auberges bien situées dans les centres-villes, ...), - activités flexibles selon l'humeur quotidienne du groupe, - expériences culinaires (homard, huîtres, moules, poutine, viande fumée de Montréal, etc), - un groupe international de personnes partageant les mêmes intérêts, - un guide dynamique et attentionné, - un bus de tournée confortable et agréable. Mention spéciale pour la magnifique journée de rafting sur la rivière Ottawa et le paysage incroyable des Hauteurs du Cap Breton (où les montagnes rencontrent l'océan). Si vous recherchez une grande découverte de la côte est canadienne, un mélange parfait entre activités de plein air et exploration des villes/barhopping, une aventure de groupe inoubliable, la visite de lieux uniques peu connus, ... n'hésitez pas une seconde de plus.. Ce voyage est fait pour vous !

Expérience fantastique: Voyager avec Out Here a été une expérience incroyable et je suis vraiment content d'avoir décidé de faire le voyage de 13/14 jours dans le Centre et les Maritimes avec eux. Chaque jour du voyage était rempli d'activités et l'on ressent le Canada à travers l'expérience, pas seulement en faisant du tourisme. Le rafting en eaux vives était le meilleur – je ne sais pas nager mais ils ont été assez solidaires pour m'aider à avoir confiance en mon gilet de sauvetage et j'ai réussi à aller jusqu'au bout. La ville de Québec était simplement magique et j'aimerais y retourner à l'automne/hiver. L'observation des baleines et le kayak étaient amusants et les randonnées étaient magnifiques. Toutes les activités valent la peine d'être faites et elles vous permettent d'aller à votre propre rythme. Je suis content de les avoir toutes faites ! Notre guide s'est assuré que nous fassions des pauses pour profiter du paysage, même si nous avions un emploi du temps serré. Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience était exceptionnelle et surtout pour quelqu'un qui est nouveau dans les excursions d'aventure, cette entreprise était vraiment un bon début. Des informations sur les dépenses et l'itinéraire ont été fournies dès le début et Jared a été très réactif pour répondre aux demandes/inquiétudes dans un délai raisonnable. Ma guide, Janelle, était merveilleuse ! Elle s'est assurée que nous étions informés des lieux que nous visitions, veillant à ce que nous y arrivions à temps et a été très accommodante pour les pauses toilettes lorsque nous étions en route. Elle a également présenté Terrance, ce qui a aidé à créer un lien unique. Si vous cherchez une expérience canadienne authentique des Maritimes, allez les voir !

Expérience fantastique: 100% recommend! I joined the tour half way through when I met the group on a pub crawl while staying at the hostel in Halifax. I was on a solo backpacking trip in Canada, getting around by catching rides, buses and hitchhiking. However getting around on my own was extremely difficult and I wasn’t able to lots of stuff that I wanted to (and things I didn't even know about!). Out Here made that possible. I was really lucky they were able to include me in their group! I’m not one to usually partake in group trips as I like to be a non-tourist and experience new cultures from a local perspective. And that is exactly what Out Here made possible. It really wasn’t a tour, but a group of people exploring Canada with someone who knew where to go and the good stuff arranged. Jared (the guide) was super flexible, always asking our opinion giving us options to stay longer/shorter if we wanted to in all the places we went. The bus was super cool, lots of room, and decked out with Canada paraphernalia (pro tip- bring a pillow). There was a decent amount of driving (as we were in Canada), but it was worth it as we had time to see the spots worth exploring and skipping the spots that weren’t worth visiting. We always had enough time in each place. With the group I got to experience Canada with people from all around the world. I didn’t realize it, but only young people are allowed on the trip, creating a really fun vibe, I definitely met some awesome people. We stayed at hostels and cooked dinner together, which made the trip really affordable. We ate local food, stopped at fruit and potato stands along the way. I have a new appreciation for new potatoes and even tried clams and oysters for the first time (and maybe the last). Having fun and making sure we had a good time was Jared’s number one priority. He didn’t take us to any tourists traps. I truly feel like I was able to experience Canada from a locals perspective. It was a great vibe. Overall this was an unforgettable experience. I am so thankful I found and joined the trip and was able to explore Canada within my budget! I truly would not have been able to see and experience everything we did on my own. We went on incredible hikes on the Cabot trail, explored countless beaches on prince edwards island and spent hours driving through breathtaking views. I had so much fun with everyone on the tour, we hiked together, partied together, laughed and cried together. If you’re hoping to see eastern Canada without a car, on a budget and meet incredible people this is really an awesome option. Just book it. Thanks for the epic adventure!!!

Expérience fantastique: I had an absolutely incredible 2 weeks with Jared and his bus of other adventurers on the Central trip that ran from Toronto, through locations such as Algonquin national park, Quebec City and Bay of Fundy to Halifax! I am British and had been working at a camp in Canada for the summer and Jared’s trip was a great way to wind down, relax and see the beautiful and wild side of east Canada. One thing that made it so great was that I never felt forced to do anything I didn’t want to do on the trip: Jared created a friendly and fun atmosphere and he always did his best to cater for the needs of his travellers and found ways to be able to do what they wanted to do. I loved his passion for this part of the world: he would always play local music on the bus and would often commentate as we drive on interesting things to see, as well as giving us lots of recommendations of what to do at different places. The add-ons, such as white water rafting, via ferrata, and whale watching are all an absolute must! I had so much fun at every place we went to, everyone on the bus was so energetic and enthusiastic and this was no doubt a response to the amazing trip that Jared planned. I recommend that anyone who wants to see east Canada in a relaxing, fun and cost efficient way should definitely join Jared OUT HERE!

Expérience fantastique: Going on a trip with Jared (Out Here Travel) is ideal for people who don’t want to plan anything in advance, but still want to enjoy all the beautiful spots East Canada has to offer. I doubt that there is a better way to see as many breathtaking views, do as many hikes, go partying in cities and experience different provinces in such a short time. Stargazing as you’ve never done before in Algonquin Park. Hiking in Mont-Tremblant, staying at a cosy hostel near a lake and spending the day in the national park. Beautiful views on Cape Breton Island as well as incredible beaches in PEI and Gaspésie. My favourites, but the list goes on... I wouldn’t describe myself as the most adventurous human being (and I didn’t do all of the activities offered) but I really appreciated that stepping out of my comfort zone was part of the/my journey. I didn’t sign up for river rafting at first, but then my group and Jared convinced me to go anyway – which turned out to be the best thing I could have done – definitely my personal highlight! As well as trying oysters, which felt like drinking sea water, but was totally worth the experience. I loved the salmon and the seafood pasta we once cooked, though! To all the seafood lovers: this is it. One thing you need for sure: energy. Lots of it. You spend most of the time outside, whether you’re in cities or nature. That’s why you stop worrying about things you would usually worry about, which is one of the many things I appreciated during these days: You get your mind off unimportant things. Also, you move a lot, to which you get used to quickly. (Believe me, I’m from Switzerland). Jared has a great bus, (sometimes) good music ;-), films and makes sure everyone gets their bathroom break and a coffee from Tim Hortons. Sadly, I got sick during the trip, but I was able to stay in the hostel for a day and luckily there are pharmacies almost everywhere you go. Plus, everybody in the group will look after you and Jared’s first priorities always were your well-being and you being able to have the best time ever. One more thing: Travelling with the same guys for a whole month may sound scary and isn’t always simple (dinner organization), but I really enjoyed getting to know a bunch of incredible human beings from all over the world, bonding and experiencing crazy stuff with them during a month. No comparison to the “hostel friendships” you make otherwise. Just get “Out There” - you won’t regret it!

Expérience fantastique: I was on the Maritimes trip with Out Here Travel and I had an amazing experience. In those 16 days, I saw places which I would have never seen if I was travelling solo. One of the places that I loved was Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. I had never heard of this place and it was pure magic; swimming in the Atlantic ocean, visiting beaches, having a night out. Another place that I liked was The Sea Shack in Gaspésie. I didn’t know what to expect from this place but it was fantastic. Maybe my favourite destination of the trip. During day time, you could join the canyoning activity or relax at the beach. Before I started the trip I wasn’t sure about the long drives since the country is huge. However, it turned out to be just fine, I didn’t mind being on the bus. We had enough bathroom/snack breaks and we would be able to watch movies during the long drives. Moreover, on scenic roads we had plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures. We slept in different types of accommodations during the trip, which gives each destination its own charm. I feel like the destinations were carefully chosen, it was a nice combination of nature mixed with cities. I recommend doing the trip since everything is taken care of. Our guide Jared knew a lot about the places that we visited and showed us all the unknown spots. He was very flexible with the schedule and rearranged if the group wanted to do something different.

Expérience fantastique: Die Tour war ausgezeichnet. Wir waren in verschiedenen Städten wie Quebec, Fredericton, Halifax, Charlottetown und Montréal sowie in den Nationalparks und ländlicheren Gegenden von Tadoussac, Gaspésie, New Brunswick und Nova Scotia. Es ist eine gute Mischung aus wandern und die Natur in verschiedenen Aktivitäten wie Kayaking, Canoeing und Klettern kennenlernen sowie aus Stadt-Sightseeing mit Parties, Shopping etc. Dies alles in einer gut organisierten und geleiteten Gruppe mit lauter gleichgesinnten Backpackern. Es macht viel mehr Spass, das grosse Land in einem Bus voller gleichaltriger Leute zu erkunden als alleine in einem öffentlichen Bus oder auf einem Roadtrip. Man wächst zusammen, man macht viele Dinge zusammen und behält unglaubliche Erinnerungen. Die Unterkünfte und Hostels sind exzellent gewählt, einziger Wermutstropfen sind die Rundzelte in ein paar Unterkünften, die sich schon um 8 Uhr morgens so stark aufheizen, dass man nicht mehr schlafen kann. Dies war jedoch bloss 2 Mal der Fall. Ich kann den Trip jedem weiterempfehlen, der den Osten Kanadas nicht alleine, sondern in einer spannenden Gruppe erkunden will und dabei die besten Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber auch verschiedene "versteckte Juwelen" entdecken will.

Expérience fantastique: Trip of a lifetime! Me and my girlfriend went on the 'Big one' trip with Jared in June 2018. We're a couple from England that had just arrived in Canada to start our 2 year working holiday visa so we wanted to get exploring straight away. I am so glad that we picked the Big One and I probably would have gone longer if there was the option. Having Out Here arrange all of the transportation and accommodation made the trip so much less stressful than planning and driving ourselves, meaning we could focus on exploring and enjoying ourselves! Jared has a good itinerary built out for the trip, but was also flexible depending on the group's mood, and when you're in the city you can go out and explore at your own pace if you needed to! I'd highly recommend doing all of the extra activities as they were all so awesome! White water rafting, canyoning and Via Ferrata was my top 3. Don't worry about the long bus rides, you'll probably be asleep anyway. (Bring a travel pillow). Overall we met an amazing group of people on this trip (including Jared), had a unforgettable time and would highly recommend! 10/10

Expérience fantastique: Un 2 semaines incroyable avec Out Here Travel! En tant que Canadien, je pense que ce tour donne une excellente idée des gens, de la culture et de la nature du Canada. Le tour permet de voir à la fois des villes, des plages, et des parcs nationaux innoubliables. Le guide (ou aventurier en chef!), est flexible et ouvert aux suggestions pour autant que l'horaire de la journée n'est trop affecté. Son travail de repérage est incroyable; tout au long du voyage nous nous sommes arrêtés dans de petits villages à l'extérieur des sentiers battus, et avons mangé des spécialités locales aux meilleures endroits possibles. Ne soyez pas arrêté par le fait qu'il s'agisse d'un "voyage de groupe". J'avais aussi un peu peur de ce genre de formule, mais avec Out Here, ça m'est plutôt apparue comme un gros roadtrip en gang. Que vous soyez Canadiens ou de l'extérieur, je reccomande absolument ce voyage!

Expérience fantastique: Where to start... What an epic adventure.. I can not recommend this trip enough... Jared is a true Canadian dude, showing you the best of the best throughout this journey. He will look after you to no end, making sure you experience the true Canada that even most Canadians can only dream about visiting....!! From breath taking views, both coastal and inland, to very unique villages that will imprint life long memories.. You will get opportunities to do some very fun activities, such as white water rafting the Ottawa river and canyoning in the amazing gaspésies, to name but a few..!! Some great rewarding hikes to beautiful views; Cabot trail and the bay of fundy to view the sea bed at low tide, which is an amazing spectacle... Lay under the stars at night in Algonquin park and see them as you never have before. Float and swim in beautiful lakes or rivers that never end.. You will get the chance to eat some great poutine in different spots, where it only gets better and better as you journey on..!! There is so much good food to be enjoyed, fresh Lobster, Muscles and Oysters.. CHEESE!!! Whales, Moose, Deer and many other wildlife can be seen along the route.. The chipmunks will provide great entertainment... Don't think about it, just book it, you will not regret this trip... The only sad part is saying goodbye at the end after strangers have become friends and enjoyed an amazing amount of fun.. This is a journey of epic adventure... Do it!!

Expérience fantastique: I’m so happy I decided to sign up with Out Here Canada to explore the Maritimes & Quebec. It was one of the best holidays I’ve experienced! I fell in love with PEI: the gorgeous red sand beaches and the red rocks were amazing in person. We went to 4 different beaches around the island and swam in the Atlantic Ocean which was way warmer than I expected. I would have never discovered the Sa Shack in Gaspesie without this tour. That place is pure magic. We were going to places off the beaten path, and getting to be one in nature. There was a great mashup between exploring cities, and hiking in the outdoors. It was an added bonus that most days spent out of the cities had different options, like a longer, more difficult hike or a shorter, easier hike - both would have great views! No day was ever the same. From the adrenaline of a via Ferreta course or kayaking in the day lawrence, to tasting fresh oysters and learning to crack a lobster.

It really is the best way to see Canada without having to worry about hiring a car, sorting accommodation, learning your way around the roads - all this is already sorted thanks to the really helpful guide, Jared. This guy really knows his stuff and has a very flexible itinerary mapped out which can flex and change depending on what the group wants to do - you have so much freedom to do what you want whilst also considering the best things to do in each place. I didn't do the full trip due to other plans and commitments, but Jared was very helpful in helping mer to arrange a meet up along route so I could join on to the trip so far through. I received a warm welcome and continued on our adventure with the rest of my travel mates - it was so good! Would definitely recommend Out Here to anybody wanting to explore eastern Canada - in my mind it really is the best way and I would definitely do it again. 10/10!

Expérience fantastique: After living in Canada for the past 2 years I decided that I should probably check out the East Coast of the country...so that is what I did. I recommend the 'Big One' trip if you have the time because you see just about as much of it as you can. There are the usual tourist stops along the way like Ottawa, Quebec City, Montréal and Halifax. But you also experience the quirky side of the various provinces with stays in places that you would otherwise not even think about. Just Google a few places on the list of stops and you will see why doing the Big One is worth it. The optional activities are amazing... I would personally suggest the Canyoning in Gaspiesie if repelling down waterfalls and jumping off small cliffs are your thing. Definitely one of the best tour experiences I have been on and Jared (the driver guide) is super knowledgable and will make your trip memerable. Give Out Here Travel a go.

Expérience fantastique: What an amazing trip! I was unsure at first what it was going to be like since Out Here Canada is pretty new and a 26-day trip requires a lot of time and energy. It turned out being incredible. Jared, our tour leader, really invested his time in showing us special locations in Canada that even most locals have never seen. He would give us the opportunity to stop at every possible scenic spot available along our scenic drives including waterfalls, countless photographic gorgeous lighthouses, cute artsy towns by the water..etc. He definitely made sure we did not miss any chances to see something beautiful. Canada is a huge place, so I was concerned what the day-to-day bus schedule was going to be driving around during the trip. I turned out loving the bus - I called it our "time machine" the whole trip. The bus was comfortable, cozy, spacious (all of us ended up having 2 seats for ourselves the whole trip), and made it bearable to relax on long drive days, which were really not too bad at all. Jared made sure we stopped every 2-3 hours tops, and always allowed us to stop for a bathroom/stretch break if needed. Even on the long drive days, we were still able to stop and see something cool at some point most of the time. I must say my favorite part of the whole trip was the friendships made along the way. All 10 of us from all around the world became so close and share memories that will last a lifetime. Two Americans, a German, an Austrian, an Irishman, three Brits, an Australian, and another Canadian all in one bus for 26 days. You spent day and night with your group and get very close, very fast. One of my favorite places we visited was definitely The Sea Shack is Gaspesie. We happen to go during their national Quebec Day weekend when we had visited and the French locals were very friendly. Met a ton of travelers/locals on the beach, by the fire, or even in the kitchen (everyone was willing to chat!) It was a gorgeous location, right on the beach with live music almost every night. We even saw a pod of 3 whales right by the beach for sunset on our last night - it was unreal. I also really enjoyed my time in Quebec City. Beautiful location with gorgeous views. A lot of fun shopping in the city but also pretty views off the edge facing the water. Loved our hostel in this location as well! The hostel had a comfortable room set-up with plenty of shower rooms nearby and other hangout rooms to relax in. Staff was super kind. Also, we had a great time enjoying the nightlife there for a night. Everyone went out as a group and we hopped a couple of bars/clubs. Fun to explore for the day, but also a great time for young going-out scenery. Another great activity we got to do was canyoning. What an adrenaline rush but quite the experience. Got to jump into waterfalls, and walk down some 100-foot rocks! A little scary in some moments, but a great experience and great value for the excursion. Another favorite spot was the sand dunes in Tadoussac. Such a beautiful spot! A bunch of us rolled down the hills and relaxed at the bottom of the hill after goofing off. Never seen such amazing views like that, but also a great location to hang out and soak in some rays. Overall, 10/10 unforgettable experience!

Expérience fantastique: This was definitely a trip of a lifetime! Very well organized and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to see how beautiful Canada is in less than 30 days. Incredible landscapes. The highlight was the hikes along the coast in Fundy national park. It was incredible seeing the low and high tide change all in one day. It got foggy some days but the scenery was still amazing. Fredricton nearby was also a cute, nice town that was a good change. Thank you for the memories!

Expérience fantastique: A must-do if you are interested to visit Canada's Eastern provinces and don't wanna go on all the touristy mainstream tracks|/tours! As a single traveler I booked the BIG ONE to get as much out of my trip as possible - and what I got was even so much more, I really had the time of my life! Since this tour includes a lot of experiences in nature - which was what I was especially looking for apart from seeing the most imortant cities on the way - the group was formed of people from 18 to 39 who had more or less the same interests, which makes it rather easy to get along well. Besides, the group size was perfect - not too big, so we found our team spirit easily during our first 2 nights on the camping sight in Algonquin Parc. And Jared did all he could to meet everybody's interests. Due to his effort I could go on a horseback riding trip for experienced riders even though this was no regular activity offer during the trip. But what really made this trip so special and absolutely unforgettable was Jared's dedication to his country! He simply loves being with people from all over the world and showing them his beautiful, wonderful, amazing country from all possible aspects! He makes sure to provide you with every needed information no matter where you go: detailed hiking maps, best restos or grocery shops and must-see sights in town and he takes those who are interested out to his favourite places. I liked going to the boîte à chanson in Québec and I simply loved the Ceiligh we went to on PEI!!! Jared provided a special playlist for every province we came to including music from local artists and bands. I enjoyed and appreciated this so much, I still listen to my favourite songs from the tour and it takes me right back OUT HERE <3

Expérience fantastique: Such an amazing trip! It was such a good mixture of cities and Nature parks! I met some amazing people and saw unbelieve sights from this tour! Jared is the best tour guide you could want. You are always looked after, his knowledge about Canada is amazing and he is awesome!! He also encourages you to experience things you never thought you would with his excellent recommendations, for me I never tried Lobster or any sea food but after this trip I am a huge fan! I would recommend the Big trip, it’s worth it! As a solo traveller I did this tour and I have no regrets and wish I could do it all again, you make amazing and life long friends and the trip is the best I have ever done. Cabot trail, bay of Fundy, Tadousssc are just a couple of amazing places you see on this tour. If you haven’t booked it yet, do it!

Le guide touristique - Jared - a tout ce qu'il faut déjà organisé avant même de commencer le voyage. Il sait définitivement ce qu'il fait et essaie toujours de rendre ce voyage inoubliable pour tout le monde. L'itinéraire du Big One est vraiment bien conçu et offre un excellent mélange entre des villes vibrantes comme Ottawa, Québec et Montréal, et des destinations reculées comme le parc provincial Algonquin. Donc, peu importe si vous recherchez une expérience plus aventureuse ou culturelle, vous aurez définitivement les deux. Malgré le programme préétabli, vous aurez suffisamment de temps pour explorer chaque endroit par vous-même si vous le souhaitez. Jared offre une grande flexibilité lors du voyage et a toujours de bonnes recommandations sur ce qu'il faut faire à l'endroit où vous séjournez actuellement, par exemple, le rafting en eau vive sur la rivière Ottawa, l'observation des baleines à Tadoussac ou la via ferrata au Canyon Sainte-Anne. Comme Jared collabore avec des entreprises locales, vous pouvez vivre certaines de ces activités à un prix réduit. L'un des grands avantages du voyage de Jared est que vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter de la façon de passer d'un endroit à un autre. Expérience fantastique: Par où commencer ? Ce voyage est absolument unique à tous les égards, des personnes que vous rencontrez aux lieux que vous voyez ! Il est organisé par Jared, le Chief Adventurer, qui le rend personnel, authentique et aventureux de toutes les manières. Il ne manque jamais de faire de son mieux pour répondre aux besoins de chacun et met vraiment son cœur et son âme dans tout ce que nous faisons. Il vous plonge complètement dans la culture en vous faisant écouter de la musique, manger la nourriture, regarder des films locaux en conduisant dans le bus et vous donne toutes sortes d'infos incroyablement cool sur chaque emplacement ! Un autre aspect spécial de ce voyage est qu'il est très personnel pour Jared, car ce sont des lieux qu'il aime et qu'il a visités régulièrement tout au long de sa vie, donc vous pouvez découvrir des endroits moins fréquentés avec beaucoup moins de touristes ! Vous obtenez une excellente combinaison de ville et de plein air, donc c'est parfait pour les deux démographies et pour ceux qui veulent essayer et explorer leurs intérêts. Vous obtenez une super combinaison de camping, d'auberges et de yourtes. Lorsque vous restez avec tout le monde dans le groupe, c'est particulièrement agréable car vous êtes comme une grande famille ! Ma partie préférée du voyage était Tadoussac à cause du kayak et des baleines ! C'était particulièrement excitant car nous avons pu voir des bélugas, des marsouins et des rorquals. L'endroit où nous avons séjourné était aussi très amusant. Une zone originale qui a une super ambiance bien que je vous conseille d'éviter les shots de Tabasco !! Un autre endroit assez excitant était Sea Shack ! C'est là que nous avons pu voir plein de fougasses, aka pigeons de mer (dans une blague avec le groupe) plongeant en masse. Cela a également attiré des rorquals et nous avons pu dîner en regardant les baleines et les fougasses faire leur truc. C'était une expérience incroyable. Cet endroit avait aussi une excellente ambiance avec des groupes en direct chaque soir et une plage géniale avec plein de piscines naturelles. C'est le mélange parfait de nature et d'une super soirée. Enfin, mais non des moindres, les gens. Les gens que vous rencontrez rendent vraiment le voyage et pour moi, le groupe avec lequel j'étais était tout. Si adorables, ouverts d'esprit et tellement fun à côtoyer ! Je ne cesserai jamais de rire de toutes les blagues internes et des moments que nous avons partagés. Nous étions presque immédiatement une grande famille et notre temps dans le bus d'aventure, lors des randonnées, dans les bars, au brunch en étant dans le brouillard, à la plage, partout où nous étions sera toujours chéri et définitivement pas pris pour acquis. C'est un voyage superbe et je vous recommande vivement de faire le grand tour. C'est incroyablement bon ! Merci Jared et le groupe !! PUTAIN, QU'ILS SONT TOUS FORMIDABLES !!
