Expérience fantastique: Traiter avec Bill Allan a été une expérience absolument incroyable. Je voyage beaucoup et j'ai été mon propre agent de voyage pendant de nombreuses années, mais avoir traité avec Bill rend le voyage sans tracas car il est très ingénieux. Le forfait qu'il élabore est précis dans les moindres détails. Il est également extrêmement engageant et on peut voir qu'il aime ce qu'il fait. Je recommande vivement Bill et j'en ai déjà parlé à des amis et voisins. On m'a référé à lui par quelqu'un du quartier qui avait également une expérience incroyable avec lui.

Expérience fantastique: Wedad a répondu à mes attentes pour mon premier voyage en Europe. Elle a été patiente avec toutes mes questions et a veillé à ce que je reste dans mon budget. J'ai demandé des hébergements propres dans des zones sûres et elle a non seulement veillé à cela, mais a également réservé des hôtels dans d'excellents emplacements. Elle a partagé librement sa richesse de connaissances sur Paris et plusieurs villes italiennes, suggérant des itinéraires et s'occupant de tous les détails comme la location de voitures et les voyages en train. Merci Wedad !

Expérience positive: Marlin travel in Vancouver has been slow to adopt modern email marketing lists that allow recipients to opt-out. I had a difficult time getting my email address removed from travel email blasts - even with many requests.. UPDATE: Manager/Owner has promised to remove my email address from mailing list after posting this review on Yelp. Head office in Toronto has assured me that automated opt-out lists will be used in the future. In no way do I believe this 'resolved' email problem reflects on the quality of service clients will receive at Marlin travel - I'm sure their travel service is first rate.

Expérience négative: Je suis arrivé en tant que client potentiel sans rendez-vous. J'ai fait mes recherches avant de venir pour voir en quoi l'offre de l'agence de voyages serait différente de ce qui est disponible en ligne. Dès les premiers instants, Wedad a montré qu'elle avait le pouvoir ici, qu'elle était la propriétaire, qu'elle savait tout, qu'elle ne voulait pas écouter tous les détails, qu'elle me coupait la parole quand je parlais puis qu'elle se disputait avec moi 'ce n'est pas ce que vous m'avez dit plus tôt' quand je continuais à raconter ma situation ; elle a même dit 'Je ne vais pas tout vous dire car vous ne réservez pas avec moi'. Et elle s'est offensée quand j'ai appelé une offre qu'elle mentionnait comme 'son offre', elle m'a corrigé 'ce n'est pas MON offre, c'est l'offre de la COMPAGNIE AÉRIENNE'. Honnêtement, à ce moment-là, je considérais encore sincèrement utiliser leurs services pour ne pas avoir à le faire moi-même bien que l'offre soit assez similaire. Et j'aurais opté pour une agence de voyages mais uniquement à cause de l'attitude, j'ai décidé de ne pas continuer avec eux. Lorsque vous planifiez vos vacances, vous voulez une bonne expérience d'accueil, définitivement pas être dans une lutte de pouvoir, surtout avec quelqu'un qui est dans une industrie axée sur le client fournissant des services pour lesquels vous payez. Et en arrière-plan, un autre agent criait au téléphone, exigeant de parler au manager. Une ambiance assez stressante et agressive dans leur bureau. Je ne peux pas commenter les professionnels concernant les aspects techniques de leur travail, mais les compétences en service à la clientèle manquent sérieusement là-bas.

Expérience fantastique: Wedad est l'agent de voyage idéal et unique avec une vaste expérience et des connaissances personnelles. Elle est gentille et passionnée par son travail, et ses recommandations de stations et de destinations de vacances sont basées sur sa visite personnelle des stations, des îles et des destinations de vacances. Il est très difficile de trouver ce type de service de nos jours.

She took all of our family's pre covid travel arrangements, reconfigured everything, found us an amazing new resort, organized the flights and transfers perfectly. Trying to deal with Westjet on our own was a nightmare and frankly we were at the point of giving up and not using our travel dollars already spent. Then we contacted Wedad and she made it easy. The big question is why would anyone not use a travel agency to book a trip? Wedad was friendly, open to suggestions, organized, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. She has been doing this forever. I'm a believer !

Expérience fantastique: My colleagues had a gathering in Vancouver recently and Wedad assisted in organizing the team building activities, site seeing, lunch and dinner venues. She is extremely professional and definitely knows what she is doing. She will give you suggestions and direct you in any way she thinks would benefit you in having a good time. Even though the weather was not too good the team had a very enjoyable stay with lots of awesome activities and food. She is highly recommended.

She worked with me tirelessly to find a destination, and organize extending the invitation to 100+ guests. As travel rules changed throughout the pandemic, Wedad evolved and adapted with it. Expérience fantastique: We've been booking our travel through Wedad at Marlin Travel in downtown Vancouver for years. We have nothing but good things to say about her and her team. If you are looking for an experienced travel agent, go see Wedad!

Expérience fantastique: We booked our Alaska cruise (July, 2019) with Wedad. She provided excellent service and addressed all of our questions immediately & very professionally. She also booked our Southern Caribbean cruise for April, 2020, but it unfortunately was cancelled due to COVID-19. While we have a B2B cruise booked for Feb. 2021, she managed our FCC from the April cruise keeping our best interests in mind, despite the unsettling times with the cruise lines. Wedad also booked & managed our air transportation and insurance coverage and sorted everything out for us leaving nothing for us to worry about. Because all of this can be somewhat confusing, she would never leave a question in my mind & wanted to ensure that I understood how credits & refunds were being applied. I always felt that we were being taken care of & would definitely recommend her and her agency. I also dealt with Bill Allen who was fantastic.

Bill set us up on a flight home with another airline ensuring that we had a good trip, then followed up on his own time. Expérience négative: La pire expérience que j'ai jamais eue avec Wedad Bishara, si impolie, non professionnelle, n'écoutant pas et parlant constamment par-dessus vous. Elle m'a dit : 'Je suis le propriétaire, je me fiche de ça. Occupe-toi de ça' après que je lui ai dit que je n'achèterais pas de billets de son entreprise, mais elle n'a pas écouté et m'a quand même facturé !!! Absolument ridicule ! Maintenant, j'ai 2 billets aller-retour que je n'ai jamais demandés ! Service horrible. C'est absolument ridicule. Il y a 4 mois, Faly a signé un contrat avec Mlle Wedad et a demandé aux parents qui ne sont pas intéressés par le billet de vous appeler et de vous informer. Mon mari vous a appelé et c'est à ce moment-là que vous étiez censée retirer notre fils de la liste. Mais vous ne l'avez pas fait, vous avez quand même facturé les billets de Faly pour notre fils sans leur dire que nous avons appelé et vous avons informé que nous n'étions pas intéressés. Bien sûr, je comprends que le pourcentage était plus important que le service à la clientèle pour vous. S'il vous plaît, ne mêlez pas Faly à tout ça. Ça n'a rien à voir avec eux. Nous vous avons appelés avant que vous ne les échangiez contre le billet.

Expérience négative: Un service client terrible. Le gars qui m'a aidé était stéréotypiquement prétentieux. Il était trop intéressé par ce qui se passait à l'extérieur de leur bâtiment et avait zéro intérêt à m'écouter. Quoi qu'il en soit, il pensait avoir obtenu suffisamment d'informations tout en ne m'écoutant PAS pour me dire ce qui m'intéresserait le plus. Je préfère passer des heures à parcourir Internet et à réserver chaque étape de mon voyage moi-même, plutôt que de traiter avec ces gens. J'ai réservé par l'intermédiaire de quelques excellentes agences de voyage dans le passé, mais je ne ferais jamais confiance à cet endroit pour gérer mon temps précieux ou le coût qui l'accompagne.
