Fantastic experience: Booking a surprise anniversary trip is definitely not in my wheelhouse. I wanted to take my wife away for the first time down south, but like many I had questions and there were concerns that needed to be addressed before anything could happen. We have elder parents and teens at home,this along with dietary restrictions and having never been to the Caribbean I wanted to make sure that the trip would be enjoyable, the food safe for our restrictions, and that any questions or concerns that we had would be taken seriously. I reached out to Melissa at Indulgence to see if this was something that she could help me with, from that point forward I knew that I had made the right choice. Melissa and her team provided me with multiple options for Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. She offered options for different travel insurance that best suited our needs, and suggested a private airport transfer ( highly recommend and will always do this in the future) Based on her personal recommendation and experience we chose The Palladium Bavaro in Punta Cana. The resort has four different hotel complexes that suit any taste, and exceeded all of our expectations. Around every turn was something new and interesting that we had never experienced. The food was as good as as anywhere else I have ever traveled. As a chef in a previous life I was interested to see what the quality would be like, this it turns out was not a concern at all. There was always something for every type of taste, the buffets and a la carte restaurants were awesome. The pools, bars, and beach were always clean and well kept. The sports facilities had many different options to make use of, and as a runner my wife was able to get out whenever she wanted and always felt safe. The staff were always kind and beyond willing to help us with anything we needed. This trip has totally changed our minds about what traveling to an all inclusive resort can be like. We met a couple of retirees from our home town while there. It was there 15th year returning to the same resort, and I can understand why. The resort has us wanting to come back again, and when we do we will definitely use Indulgence Vacations to make it happen. She is a super communicator, and they have such a detailed system so that you never have to worry about I thing. I knew where I had to go and when, and was sent great suggestions for fun tours and also lots of general information about the country I was heading to! I've never seen such great organization when it came to travel plans, and it was great to know I didn't have a worry in the world. And when something came up and I had to change my dates, Melissa worked tirelessly to make it go smoothly. I'll be a client for life!!
