Fantastic experience: An Alaskan Cruise has been on our bucket list and we finally checked it off this summer. Many thanks to Beth Beier for her knowledge and suggestions and for helping us to have an amazing experience! Zip lining in a rainforest with a black bear underneath us was definitely a highlight!

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Ned Ambrus over the past few months planning and booking a Bachelor trip to Cabo, and so far she has been wonderful to work with! I find Ned to be very thorough, diligent, and swift with her replies to my emails and phone calls. I contacted 3-4 other travel agencies and I feel Ned with TierOne offered the best deal for our party of 12 people with both the resort and the flights. Thank you.

Negative experience: Didn't spell my boyfriends name right on the flight tickets even after communicating that there was a spelling error. Paid over $200 and didn't even get an itinerary or any ideas for our trip. Just pressured into paying almost $14,000 for a cruise that we didn't want to go on! Even though it wasn't a price we wanted, it would have been nice to at least at bare minimum get an itinerary instead of nothing after paying $200. A lot of travel agents would have done this for free!

Negative experience: Called almost 3 weeks needing help with some travel plans. Was told someone would call me back but no one did.

Fantastic experience: We have used Maggie as our travel agent for years and couldn't be more happy! She's helped us with 3 trips to Mexico, including a destination and makes life such a breeze! If you need someone who has attention to detail, is prompt and extremely knowledgeable, look no further!

Fantastic experience: We used Tier One Travel to book our destination wedding trip to Punta Cana on Feb 2023. We had started working with a previous travel agency which did not work out so we did not have a ton of time. The travel industry and destination wedding industry has become very difficult post Covid but our agent with Tier One, Laurielee, was able to accomplish the feat and get us everything we needed. She was accommodating with guests needs, helped us get answers when resorts weren’t replying by having additional contacts, and was there to support us along the way. Would definitely use them again if needed and for everyone’s sake we hope travelling can soon return to the way it was years ago.

Negative experience: Went here after seeing so many good reviews. There is only a reception lady in the office no actual advisors. She took my information and said someone would follow up with me in 1 to 2 days. Been 3 weeks and I never recieved a phone call.

Fantastic experience: This team - specifically Susan Melin and Tracy McGinness - is nothing short of travel rockstars and deserve a massive shout out. AC cancelled my boss’ flight from Pittsburgh to Toronto where he was scheduled to take the connecting flight home to YYC. They rescheduled him through Houston but no connecting flight home AND didn’t cancel the flight from Toronto to Calgary. I called Susan in a panic (at night when she wasn’t supposed to be working) and she dropped everything to help us out. I can NOT thank you enough. Tracy did the exact same thing for me personally a few years ago when I was stuck in Vancouver trying to get to Singapore to catch a departing cruise. They go above and beyond and I am forever grateful. It’s tough being stranded somewhere not knowing how to get home or to your destination but knowing they have your back is comforting.

Fantastic experience: Beth Beier has been working with our company for over 20 years! Our yearly corporate group travel for incentive trips and conferences is a few times a year with approximately 100 attendees, in a multitude of different locations internationally. If you are looking for vacation packages, she will do her research to give you fair pricing and a fantastic location. If you are looking for an oversees destination, where packages are not usually offered, she will work with you to ensure every single item on the checklist is not forgotten. She works diligently with our company, and with her years of experience, has close contacts nearly anywhere you would like to go. We always get treated extra special! Beth is my go-to for corporate travel each and every year. She does not disappoint. I highly recommend her for your business incentive trip and convention endeavors. Fantastic experience: Helpful and friendly staff

Fantastic experience: We booked our Trip through Sharon for a wedding we were attending in Mexico. We had experienced a flight delay which caused us to miss our connecting flight to our destination. Westjet was not helpful in assisting us in getting better flights to our destination. We contacted Sharon and she did not stop working until our situation was reconciled. She was able to secure us better flights, and booked us an additional day for our trip and rearranged our flights with no extra cost to us. it was because of Sharon we were able to enjoy the remainder of our trip stress free. By the time we had landed at our destination, we had information on extending our stay, updated shuttle/transport information and that she was working on rearranging flights. i have never used a travel agent before and quite honestly didn't understand the value of using one, but having someone go to bat for you in a stressful situation is priceless. I don't think i'll book a resort vacation again without a travel agent now. She worked so diligently to ensure we could have a seamless trip, and i owe the enjoyment of the rest of our trip to her. Fantastic experience: Just booked a trip with all my west coast friend to Cuba, Chrissy was amazing!! With lost of request and changes along the way she got our trip in order perfectly after countless emails with questions etc. Highly recommend Chrissy to book all further vacations

Fantastic experience: My wife and i recently went on a trip to England and Italy. We do not usually use the services of a travel agent however we are glad we did this time. We discussed where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. The trip with flights , accommodations , car rental and tours was completely set up prior to leaving. We had people meet us when we arrived and had access to local staff to assist us. Angela made some recommendations that made a huge difference in our trip. We would highly recommend Angela and her staff at TierOne Travel .

Fantastic experience: Looked for a good no great travel Agent for months before I found Jennifer H at TierOne in Calgary. She helped me plan an amazing European trip to Hungry, Croatia and Venice last May. While we were away she was at our disposal for any problems and even checked in to see how it was going. I would for sure recommend them, especially Jenn. We are already working on our next family vaycay

Negative experience: I have not had experience dealing with this business as one of their clients but from seeing the way they treat the people and businesses around them I wouldn’t dare offer them my business. While sitting in the waiting room of a doctors office across from their office on Macleod Trail and Heritage, I was witness to their employees coming out into the main hallway where a mother and her children were sitting while waiting for there turn at the doctors office. These women were extremely rude, verbally abusive and rude to this mother and her children. I was extremely shocked and disgusted at this behaviour coming not only from a grown women but someone who is coming from her office and representing her company. These children were by no means being out of line or disturbing anyone else and even if they were there is a proper way of addressing the situation and the way the Tier One Travel employees handled it was the complete opposite. I can promise this company will never gain mine nor my families business.
