Fantastic experience: I got to tour Ukraine with Cobblestone back in 2017 and my experience was amazing. So sad to see what is happening to that country now.

Fantastic experience: We went on a 13 night private family tour to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro this past summer 2023. It was fantastic! Vincent Rees and Cobblestone Freeway Tours embraced our vision, and along with his overseas colleagues – Damjan, Hrvoje, and Jasmin – helped bring it all together. Having the local guide / driver made our trip seamless and effortless. It also provided us with the flexibility we wanted to change plans (to the extent possible) or opt out. Our guides, who were also our drivers, transported us from place to place with ease and provided plenty of colourful commentary along the way. They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and a pleasure to travel with. Thank you for an amazing and memorable trip for our family of four! Our prior trip with Cobblestone in 2019 to Ukraine was an equally fantastic group trip. We definitely recommend Cobblestone!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went to Ireland with Cobblestone Freeway Tours for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience! Every day was full of exciting adventures and we really felt like we got to know the beautiful country in an intimate and special way. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: In 2019 we travelled to Ireland with Cobblestone Freeway and had the pleasure of having Vince as our personal guide. Our tour highlighted areas rich in history, culture, music, and dance. We travelled along spectacular coastline and drove roads that meandered through lush hillsides, speckled with ancient stone walls that are synonymous with Ireland; all the while listening to Vince and our driver, Jimmy, tell stories old and new of Ireland. Our group experienced the mystical magic of the Giants Causeway, the Aran Islands, and the Cliffs of Moher. Touring the Titanic Museum in Belfast and seeing the antiquities, brought us feelings of wonder and sadness. And of course, we could not leave Ireland without touring the factories and experiencing the taste of Guinness Beer in Dublin and Bushnell Whiskey in County Antrim. It was a pleasure to sit back in the comfort of a Mercedes van, and enjoy the excitement of reaching a new wonder while all details were prearranged by Cobblestone Freeway. To quote Vince, “It’s about the journey, not just the destination”.

Fantastic experience: Incredible and memorable trip to Ireland! Vince worked with our family to tailor a unique family vacation of a lifetime. Once we stepped off the plane, we were taken care of like royalty. Starting off our vacation was the first of many visits to an Irish Pub where traditional Irish music is played (including Ireland’s oldest pub Sean’s Bar in Athlone). With so much to see from the Titantic Museum, Giant’s Causeway, Bush Mills Distillery, Dark Hedges, Guinness Factory to herding and Shearing sheep….And so much more! Oh my gosh! Can’t forget the Donkey Sanctuary! Never once did we feel rushed. Everything was planned accordingly with flexibility to make some impromptu stops including dipping our feet in the Irish Sea. Vince even worked with us to arrange an unforgettable visit with distant family in Liscarrol.

Fantastic experience: Curated experience!! I have had the distinct please of traveling twice with Cobblestone! 2012 was a tour of Ukraine. This intimate multi generational tour was one of the most memorable Easter’s I have ever had. Vince and his team did an amazing job of giving us big city and small town experiences that were both commercial and personal all at the same time. Ukraine is a diverse and culturally fascinating with a new surprise every day! The care that went into this trip were wonderful! 2016 was a Ukrainian Dance group tour to Eastern Europe. Vince was able to put together a multi country, multi performance tour that was so enriching for the entire group. We were able to meet and share our interpretation of Ukrainian dance with other Ukrainian descendants in Serbia and participate in several other cultural festivals that made life time memories!! The group was expertly accompanied by Cobblestone on a multi county tour with ease and grace. I really can’t say enough about Vince and his Team’s professional and dedication to a tailored and curated experience!

Fantastic experience: I went on my first Ukrainian Dance tour with Cobblestone Tours to Croatia, Hungary, Austria, and Slovenia in 2014. I was a member of Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Ensemble from Selkirk, Manitoba. It was the most incredible tour that was personalized to us as performers, and as people. Vince Reese attended the tour with us, and along the way made these little improvised stops in towns and off the beaten path places that added personal enchantment to our experience. I also met the love of my life on this tour, from Croatia, who is now my husband here in Canada. You won’t find a friendlier, trusting more personal tour company. I highly recommend Cobblestone Tours, as they treat you like family, and give you an out of this world experience.

Fantastic experience: Pick Croatia! This trip struck the perfect balance because it has a little bit of everything: city, nature, history, adventure, from the urban bustle and Central European feel of Zagreb to the beautiful Adriatic Coast. During this trip we discovered less known parts of Croatia which were incredible. We explored some stunning locations, met lots of lovely locals and tried amazing food and danced the night away. Would recommend this trip to anyone seeking for a truly unique travel experience!

Fantastic experience: A large group of us traveled with Cobblestone Freeway Tours in 2019 to Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. We had all ages from a 7 year old boy to several in their 70's. A few of us had only been to Ukraine before. Our experiences with Cobblestone were wonderful, our guides so knowledgable; they kept our interests and needs at the forefront! Each opportunity on the tour was rich with culture and traditions. In Hungary, from our tavern welcome of Chardash dancers and cauldrons of amazing goulash, down the Danube River with ancient buildings lit for our enjoyment while we dined, to finding the best market to buy Hungarian paprika, with sites and great explanations of Hungary's history, we'd all agree to return again. Once in Romania, the rich past of amazing architecture, and beautiful welcoming people drew us in. Dracula's Castle (Bran's) was superb just as a 'scary storm brewed' (not sure how that was coordinated, but it was remarkable timing). The salt mine tour in Turda was breathtaking - very cool (literally and figuratively) to row a boat in the bottom of the mine! Our own Roma dance lessons and village feast was so much fun! We learned to weave whicker baskets from the experts! Back to grassroots as we watched the freshly picked plums heading into the Palinca Distillery, which also included a bit of sampling! We had several days in Romania but not enough: reason to return on another tour. Traveling into Ukraine was a cultural mecca! We not only saw, but we did! We made pottery and carved wooden jewelry along a Carpathian river, we created wedding bread in a village hut, we made (and ate a lot of delicious) chocolate, we sampled refreshing beer, we dined like royalty and danced until our feet could no longer move! Cobblestone has a way of sharing the richness of cultures of each country it takes you and the beauty of its people; with experienced guides, to memorable places and experiences!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been on multiple tours with Cobblestone, including one to Croatia, Hungary, and Austria and a few throughout Ukraine. On each trip, I feel like more than just a tourist in a new city — the Cobblestone experience immerses you in the country’s culture. The tour guides share about history, folklore, and modern events and take you to restaurants and on excursions that you might not have found out about on your own. After just a couple days, the Cobblestone crew will feel like friends you’ve known for years. Fantastic experience: The most unique and amazing tour companies I have ever travelled with. Each tour is different from the last, filled with once in a lifetime experiences at an unbelievable price. Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Ukraine have been amazing destinations I have visited with the company and recommend them to anyone who does not want a cookie cutter tour. From a dinner party with the Roma people in Rumania to a private dinner in the courtyard of a castle, Cobblestone Freeway will surprise you at every turn.

Fantastic experience: I had always wanted to go to the country of GEORGIA and chose Cobblestone Freeway Tours to make this happen. What an excellent tour of the country! Our small group had professional service from the guide and driver, amazing hotels, and wonderful restaurants to sample the delicious food and wine. We saw so much: Tbilisi, towns, villages, mountains, and the Black Sea. I loved visiting the churches, museums, the wineries (Georgia is known for its wine), and having the cultural component of enjoying their folk dance and polyphonic singing. There was enough free time as well to go out on my own - which is important for my photography purposes and general curiosity. It was a unique tour and I highly recommend Cobblestone. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: The Cobblestone Freeway Tour to Ireland was one of the best tours we had ever taken. This was my second trip with them and they are consistent in setting an interesting itinerary, great accommodation and transport and opportunities to experience the life and culture of the country. Stops were not too long or too short; just right! They are flexible in adjusting the pace to the group. If you go with Vince, he is the best host ever!! So if Ireland is on your bucket list, don't hesitate to go with Cobblestone Freeway Tours!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! Great tour guides, excellent itineraries for their tours and unique experiences that you don't get anywhere else. Cobblestone is always my first choice! I've been on 7 tours with them so far and I haven't been disappointed yet!

Negative experience: Cobblestone Tours cancelled our groups Tour and won't refund our money. Vince the owner won't answer the phone or return emails. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: Their tour guides and drivers exceeded all my expectations in terms of level of service, professionalism, and knowledge. We had many interesting tours of local sites, ate at great restaurants, and stayed at very nice hotels. Most importantly, we had a tremendous amount of fun!

Fantastic experience: Just returned the end of July from a 15 day Great Ukraine Tour. It was absolutely amazing in regards to the destinations chosen, to the individual tour guides in each city and especially a most heart warming thank you to one amazing tour guide Teras S. for making each day full of laughter, fun, full bellies of delicious food and being very informative at all our destinations.
