They've assisted me with flights, hotels, visas, travel medical...and I'm 100% satisfied. And, yes, the folks at Friendly Asia Travel are friendly; easy to deal with and accommodating.

Negative experience: This is a Vietnamese family business. Don't ever do business with them. They are rude and have no customer service skill. They will rip you off by trying to get their commission.

Fantastic experience: I use Friendly Asia Travel for not just over sea flights but domestic flights for my company and other international locations. They make it easy and hassle free without the big ticket prices you see at other airline companies. I have been using their services for over 10 years now and they always keep an eye out on flights and give me various options. If you are not into online bookings and want someone else to give you free consultation and do the homework for ya call Phil and Diane. :)

Fantastic experience: Diane (owner) has been a travel agent for over 30 something years, and this business is still running, so this has got to speak volumes about this place! She is friendly, honest, and knows her stuff. I have booked trips to Asia (Vietnam/Cambodia) with her almost 3 years ago, and she found me reasonably priced accommodations to stay at with great service. Definitely would definitely this place!

Negative experience: Phil the owner was my travel agent and I am a non Chinese speaking person. I wanted to take a tour in China. He showed one tour that was 99 dollars but only in Chinese. he said if i wanted the english tour it would be an additional 350 dollars. I paid this additional money ( plus the money on the trip that was owed ~ 150 american dollars). The entire trip was Cantonese. Phil did not sign me up for an english tour, neither did he sign me up with a tour company that offered English tours. When I confronted him about a refund he said "doesn't 450 (+150USD) seem like a good price". And would not refund me the "english" portioned I paid. on a side note the reason it was so cheap is bc the entire tour was a shopping tour. You were not able to see any of China besides where the Chinese government wanted you to see, and to buy from. Jade, Silk, Tea,Medicine all back to back in one day we would go to 5 different stores where they would sit us down and explain why we should buy jade(...) from their store. We did not get to see any true Chinese Culture, just something prefabricated for tourist to buy. My time in China was terrible I wouldn't recommend using Friendly Asia Travel for any bookings because he is a very un-trustworthy travel agent.
