Negative experience: The lady was not helpful, while asking questions it felt like an immediate no to everything. Deffinatly felt intimated by her and very unhappy that she sent us on our way with nothing. Asking questions felt like it was too much for her to even answer. Won’t be going back. No trip was booked that day, going to a different agency. :/

Fantastic experience: Upon moving to Welland from St. Catharines the insurance company I was currently with wanted to up my rates to over $600 per month. Doing online quotes I found CAA was the cheapest at $250. Upon calling and speaking to a lovely lady whose name Is escaping me right now she got my quote at $155, the cheapest I’ve had since getting licences and a car over 5 years ago. So grateful for this low price of insurance in such a high priced economy for just about everything else. Thank you CAA!

Negative experience: We just bought a house got insurance changed it as it was too expensive. We went through Scoops Ins. They gave us car and home insurance from CAA it was 150.00 different from desjardin . We switched but now Caa is raising the home insurance by 96.00 and forcing us to replace our cast iron plumbing . They are saying it’s too old . It’s 6 feet of cast iron the rest is plastic . Caa is a horrible company for home insurance . If it’s not done they will cancel the policy. Horrible customer care and service . We don’t have the monies to fix it right now and they truly do not care . DO NOT USE CAA INSURANCE.

Fantastic experience: Today I sat with Inara to get a quote for both car and home insurance. She was good enough to take me despite being closer to closing time. She was thorough, kind, informative and transparent , taking the time to ensure I understood the policies and at no time did I feel rushed or pressured. The rates were great - especially with a membership, and her sense of humour made the process feel much less dry! No idea if they get points for leads or sign ups, but if they do I specifically would aim to support her :) I hate paying for insurance, but hey - the experience was over all lovely!

Fantastic experience: As a long time member I can honestly say that it has been a pleasure working with CAA. Over the years I leaned on them for passport photos, international drivers license, many maps and a tow. They are always quick and thorough. I have always encountered friendly staff, and nice small town feel.
Negative experience: No tow pkg for truck and boat trailer.. but there is pkg for truck and RV.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE. HALF STAR. NOT HAPPY.

Negative experience: Be aware and do not get your insurance from CAA they scammers. They increased the price of my policy after one week of getting my new policy. Zero customer service. They cancelled my policy without informing me. I been with TD for twenty years and I regret going with CAA.
Negative experience: I actually booked travel with CAA 5 years ago with no problem and I’ve gotten their travel insurance many times. I waited patiently in line in the past and was able to book my trips the day I went in with no difficulty. Recently I tried to book with them again and the service was horrible and nothing like my past experiences. I was directed to a different agent every time so I was being forced to start my trip progress all over again every time. I even got a business card from one agent and when I tried to email, I waited days with no response (it’s been weeks now and still nothing) as the prices slowly rose in the meantime and they didn’t answer their phone either. When I called back the final time to try to find someone else who was going to actually help me finalize my travel plans on my day off, I was told they had no time for me for the third time and only wanted to make an effort when I complained that this was the 5th time I was let down already by them (by that point I was done working with the company). I ended up calling Youngs Travel instead and my trip was officially booked over the phone about 2 hours after my final failed phone call with CAA. Will be booking with a responsive travel agent with their own business from here on because it seems that these agents aren’t worried about keeping clients like the small local businesses are.

I was a bit nervous as it was my first time setting up insurance on my own but she made it very easy and straightforward. She gave me the best rate I could possibly get, using the “My Pace” program. Would definitely recommend if you don’t drive a lot day to day and would highly recommend using this branch to set up your insurance needs!

Fantastic experience: Hi everyone should be a Plus member I had my car towed 4 times twice in town once in st cath then to Hamilton, service was excellent by all staff this was December 25 and I did not have to wait very long. I am a long time member and would never feel safe without CAA thanks to them I have real peace of mind anytime I travel.

Fantastic experience: I had an experience in Cuba where I had to see a doctor at the resort. We had purchased CAA Travel insurance which we have done for years. When I arrived back home, I contacted CAA to put my claim in for the doctors visit on the resort and within one week I had a cheque to cover the 70 Pecos I had spent. Great service and I would highly recommend CAA Travel insurance! Thank you !
