Positive experience: Allibert trekking organizes you quite well in the Grand Tour (or Grande Passe) of Ireland. This trip certainly allows you to visit some of the most beautiful sites in Ireland, mainly located on the west coast, but not forgetting the mythical Giant's Causeway found in Northern Ireland. This tour also allows for some urban approaches through short visits to Derry, Belfast, and the very festive Dublin. However, it should be added that the meals taken in these three cities are not included in the travel package. Furthermore, one should know that Allibert practices targeted pricing; thus, for a traveler from Quebec, the Grand Tour of Ireland is offered starting at 6055$ CDN (without any flights included) or 4064€, while for a European traveler, it costs 3497€ including the flight, which means a difference of 566€ (843$ CDN) not counting the cost of the flight (I mean air travel). Given this practice, I do not recommend Allibert's services. I was a loyal customer since I was on my 17th trek with Allibert. I am extremely disappointed; I trusted them, but they have clearly exaggerated. Since they have a foothold in Montreal, the site allibert.fr is blocked. Via a VPN, one can consult their site to see the real prices offered to Europeans.

Fantastic experience: I just returned from my 10th trip with Allibert-Trekking Agency. As always, I am completely satisfied with this trip. I appreciate being able to travel in a small group, respecting cultures and the environment.

Positive experience: If you can, go through the agency in France. The price of the trip will be cheaper because there, their total price includes the price of the flight which you can remove.

Negative experience: I was extremely disappointed with my hiking trip to Madeira. It was a level 3, but most of the participants did not have that level, and Allibert should have ensured the physical level of the participants. Well-trained people like me wasted their time during the hikes.

Positive experience: I took a trip 'on my own' (Croatian islands independently) with Allibert. Everything went well. Despite several hesitations with the use of the roadbook, we eventually found our way. The transfers between the ferries and hotels and the transport of the luggage went smoothly. The only downside was that the accommodations were not always comfortable but well located.
