Negative experience: Book an all inclusive through sell off vacation for PARADISUS VARADERO RESORT AND SPA. After returning i contacted them to make them aware that the upgrade they are selling if fraudulent and not what customers are getting, explained in depth experience and was told there is nothing they would do for us, but we could complete the complaint to submit to the resort. After complaining daily while at the resort we see no reason to spent more time dealing with them. The below is our experience: We are 1 of 5 Canadian families who all had terrible experiences in the same 1-2 weeks period. We arrived at 2330, No welcome, went to main registration only to be directed back to entrance of resort to wait for another ride accross the resort to “reserve” secton of resort. “reserve” is not an upgrade, despite being sold as such!! The “Reserse” rooms are the as pictures online, they advertise the “standard” rooms as “reserve” rooms online. The “reserve” is furthest from all amenities, the rooms have not been updated since the 60’s and are infested with termites. The transportation from this area is scarce and troublesome with children/strollers. On day 2 we were nice to a “standard” room which is next to the beach and all pool areas, the room was actually quite nice, had hand towels, garbage bags, Kleenex. The Safe didn’t lock, the patio door doesn’t lock, our toddler could open the front door as there was no child in lock or deadbolt. The AC in whole “standard” section barely worked but it was still far superior to the “reserve” area……three other Canadian families move from “reserve” upgrade to “standard” room. Final straw, at the end of the first day a staff car (hit and run) rear ended myself, my 2 year old toddler and 2.5 month old baby, the resort did nothing to rectify. We informed every level of management up to Darian and were met with blank stares and empty apologies. The advertised butler service does not exist!! In addition, 24hr room service offered only hamburger, ham sandwich or chicken sandwich, no fries or sides ever. First morning we missed breakfast to attend “Orientation” which was nothing was a sales pitch by “Angel” for Air Canada excursions. 4 families attended to get help and we all left with zero insight into the resort. Angel kept directing us to reception, reception offered no help to the processes and layout of the resort. The only maps available were in German and Spanish, we were told to use the QR code to acces English but the internet was terrible and barely accessible once daily. Reservations for dinner can only be made 0900-1500 but no one told us so we couldn’t get a restaurant our first two nights. All buffets and restaurants open at 1930…..this is not family friendly!! After an hour long arguement with management re. lack of orientation leading to inability to get dinner reservations, they booked us at the Texmex restaurant, when we arrived it was 3/4 empty and completely empty when we left. Our beach towels were taken off our beach chairs when we left to feed our kids for lunch, we were told there are no clean towels until 2pm and that we had to pay 60 USD for the missing towels. Another Canadian family had no bed sheets for 2 nights. This is a “I’ll report” it resort, not a “we will fix it” resort. ZERO customer service.

Negative experience: We recently booked our trip in January 2024. The worse customer service ever received from George Theofilopoulos team. I gave 1 star review for the following reason: -Incomplete information provided (told us to pay deposit and did not tell us how to pay the balance until last minute and say if we don't pay then our trip is cancel) -False promotion promise (provided group discount information & when we booked they never gave us the discount money back) -Inaccurate data entry (we provided correct information to them but when they input it in the system, they got our names entered wrong. Our room were booked wrong) -Poor response (after our trip we asked them about the discount money that they promised to give back after the trip, they said its already discounted in our bill and the fee for amending information that they entered incorrectly) Please do not book with this team for poor service and false information.

Negative experience: I used to be exiting for my first trip with my kids and families. So we chose George Theofilopoulos team to book for our trip. How much I did expect for our trip that same how disappointed I was after experience with the worse service from George who was rule, lied, poor response and gave us wrong informations. Negative experience: “really is out of our control who and how the other guests will be like during your vacation.” This is the response given by George at the Yonge street, Toronto location when detailing his misrepresentation. According to the resort the blame sits entirely with the travel agent: George. What follows is the nightmare of our vacation booked by George: When we asked if our time slot overlapped with March break (which was a serious concern for us—we are seniors and go to sleep and wake early) he clearly advised us that March break was March 8 onwards and that we have nothing to worry about. Well wrong! We were surrounded with 3,000 (yes three thousand)very loud, party goers mostly inebriated. We actually had to step over vomit to enter our room for the first time. We awoken to go for breakfast having to dodge the same vomit the following morning as well as refuse along the way from the previous night of parties and were challenged to find a spot in the sun where there was no heavy thumping music, cigarette or vape smoke and loud shouting around us. Save your money and time. This could have gone the other way too. A pair of party goers could easily have been booked in with 3,000 seniors. One phone call to the resort could have warned our travel agent George of this fact. This was a profound misrepresentation. We now really need a vacation!

Negative experience: Poor customer service, false information, or not full detail provided for advertisements. Charge for change that was not our fault, fault from company for entering information wrong. Was told by George that the resort will take care of their mistake and say bot to worries but when we were there they didn't even want to switch what was not our fault, and gave us a hard time. When i try to contact the George, he didn't even answer. 2 of our party was left stranged and tired. When ever we need to contact our agent(George he doesn't pick up so i have to call the head office and they contact him to get back to me. What a waste of time. I am not very happy how George dealt with any situation while on the phone(angry voice). Calling us to make a payment felt like collection is calling with an angry temper. We book as a group with complimentary person, but George said that it has been deducted we ask for a breakdown of what the charge and he didn't give us any break down what so ever. He said of the name change which at first was jot our fault becasue we send out names and info correctly. Till now with email send to him we have't heard back from him.

Negative experience: Terrible first impression and awkward customer service. I came in and although it was completely empty it took the agent a couple minutes to notice I was there. They didn't even stand up or invite me over to their desk to talk, I just had to awkwardly walk over, and there was some sort of hold music playing on the speaker the entire time. In the middle of helping me, they took a call which I thought was going to be a moment or so, until they just started booking someone's else's entire trip and after 15 mins of waiting, I just left. The entire time I was there I felt like the agent was bored and had better things to do. Very uncomfortable, and the agent didn't seem very friendly or personable at all. I definitely will not be using their services in the future.
