Fantastic experience: Picked up JR passes here with a few days turnaround (online form, in person appointment). Great service.

Fantastic experience: You can go here to purchase and pick up a JR pass instead of buying one online. This worked out really well for us as we are leaving for Japan next week and didn't want the uncertainty of waiting on a fedex delivery when ordering online. Further, you save some money as they have a good rate for the JR pass and you don't have to pay shipping fees.

Positive experience: This was the best exchange rate for the JR pass I could find locally. Unfortunately, I didn't add our middle name to the exchange vouchers and was charged $20 each for handling fees. I doubt this would have caused issues exchanging it for my pass in Japan (from my quick research), but it does say to have the exact name on the website. If buying the pass, include first and middle names in the Given Names section.
