Expérience négative: --Expedia Failed Us: Zero Help, Zero Responsibility-- The airline canceled my flight, leaving me and my child stranded abroad with no way to return. I had to purchase a new ticket with my own money. Despite multiple calls and chats with Expedia agents, they were completely unable to make any changes to the original flight or offer any real help. Eventually, they told me to contact the airline directly for a refund. However, the airline clearly stated that only the travel agency that issued the ticket—Expedia—can process the refund. Expedia’s support has been completely unhelpful and incompetent throughout this entire situation. I will never book anything through them again.

Expérience négative: Booked at Best Western directly through the hotel. Somehow, my booking ended up going through Expedia…after my stay, I’ve been receiving invoices/receipt for other guests who also booked through Expedia. Pretty sure this is a massive breach of privacy/confidentiality so I’ve tried calling the hotel and Expedia to have this resolved ASAP. Hotel tells me to call Expedia to resolve the issue. When I try calling Expedia, the line is either busy, encountering “technical difficulties”, or flat out does not connect the call. I’ve tried calling 20+ times using 2 different phone numbers but I simply cannot get through to Expedia. The hotel has called Expedia and they insist that I must call them directly to have the issue resolved. Meanwhile, I can’t get a hold of anyone from Expedia if my life depended on it…wow. This is actually shocking. As I continue to receive invoices with others people’s personal information…I’m trying desperately to make this stop and no one seems to care or see this as an urgent issue. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA. Your personal information is clearly not well secured. A random person like me may be receiving your invoices containing your personal information.

Expérience négative: The service deteriorated significantly. I feel like it became a convenient store instead of a reputable company. I booked a flight to London through Expedia. There was a Porter flight, but operated by Airtransat. When I arrived at the Airport, the agent at Transat told me that they couldn't find my booking and sent me to the Porter counter. The agent at the Porter counter sent me back to Airtransat. I spent 5 hours at the Airport and 4 hours on the phone with the different Expedia agents.

Expérience négative: Booked 8 flights with Expedia for an event in 4 months. Airline changed the flight dates within 24 hrs of my booking. We can’t fly on these dates and informed Expedia tight away that we need a refund to buy other flight tickets. All they can do is reach out to the airline and request a refund. This process has been taking a month. Finally the airline approved the request and now we have to wait another month at least before we see our money back. So we have to purchase other tickets before actually getting the refund… Expedia are basically the middle man with zero responsibility. They don’t care about you. They just follow the airline policies. ridiculous that we have to deal with so much bureaucracy for so long even though we did nothing wrong and it’s the airline that changed their dates

Expérience négative: never rent a car from Expedia, they do not have a 'Price Guarantee' Policy. Basically they cannot protect their customers against fraudulent businesses and false advertising and surprise fees. I rented a car from Advantage Car company in Orlando in July 2024. Expedia processed my reservation and stated that my cost would be $126 for 7 days, however on the day of pickup, the representative said it $457 which includes mandatory extra insurance coverage AND a refundable $250 deposit. Expedia's reservation price that you book is significantly lower than the actual price you must pay to actually pickup the car. When you arrive at the car rental office, you basically are not allowed to rent a car if you do not agree to the rental companies extra added fees, $250 deposit charge that was never returned back to me, surprise charges, pushy sales people, but Expedia should clearly post these other extra charges on their website not just the base fare prices. The base fare SHOULD be enough to legally rent out the car, if not, Expedia should include the base fare AND additional fees in the total advertised price. Expedia will not honor its advertised rental price nor will they protect its customers from predatory car rental companies like Advantage rent car. Expedia should have a basic Price Guarantee policy in place to protect their customers, or don't bother advertising incorrect Car rental prices. Expedia needs to DO BETTER. They need to have better transparent agreements with the rental agencies they work with instead of harming their customers. Never again from either of these companies. Terrible!

Expérience négative: Worst travel booking site I’ve ever used. You may save a bit of money on your bookings, but if anything goes wrong, it’s impossible to get help and if you do get to talk to anyone, they won’t take responsibility to correct the problem or assist you in any way. This is the second time I’ve been left high and dry in a foreign country with no support or recourse. I will never use their services again. Hours wasted of my holiday, and incredible stress and cost for me.

Expérience négative: I booked a hotel using expedia. Expedia charged $294 per night. I later learned that the hotel advertised the same room on its website for $170 per night. I have tried to get a refund (price match) but received only doubletalk from both agents and their supervisors. This is despite Expedia’s guarantee that it will make adjustments after the booking is completed. I will not be using their service again.

Expérience négative: Here's what may happen to you if you book a rental car through Expedia. I booked a rental car (provider was Dollar) for two weeks at DFW airport. The car they gave me did not match what I've booked in terms of the size of the vehicle. (standard SUV - fits 5 passenger and 4 luggages) I could not fit my luggages into the car but the Dollar agent told me there's no other option but to pay extra $75/day for a bigger car. I declined the offer and requested to cancel my rental. The Dollar staff voided the rental agreement but a week later, they charged me for renting a car for 13 minutes. $144.74 for 13 minutes when the car hadn't even left the lot. (never drove an inch and it took me 10 minutes in the line at the counter) Expedia will not refund any money stating that my reservation is non-refundable. Use Expedia at your own risk.

Expérience négative: Bonjour à tous ! J'ai eu une très mauvaise expérience avec cette compagnie. J'ai acheté un billet d'avion avec expedia. Je suis arrivé à l'aéroport de Montréal et non,refusé. Il ont dit que j'ai trompé le nom avec le prénom. Refusé... Air Canada qui a reçu l'argent, Lufthansa qui etai la compagnie du transport etc... J'ai perdu 1300$,parsque expedia à refusé de changer le nom avec le prénom. Plus la personne avec j'ai parlé au téléphone très arrogant, la même chose avec Air Canada. Refusé... La representant du Lufthansa à dit : Tu as acheté avec Expedia, on peut faire rien. Su étais direct avec Lufthansa, pas de problème... Ils ont passé le ballon... Le vol étais 42UD94. J'ai parlé avec expedia 2 jours et ils ont étais très nepolie. Si vous voulez voyager, acheter les billets avec les compagnies direct. Pas avec les compagnies des voyages. Aucune assurance, rien. Air Canada est une très mauvaise compagnie. Merci

Expérience négative: I have used Expedia for a few years now. Have never had an issue until today. While waiting for my train, I decided to check the address of the room that I booked. To my surprise, the booking was cancelled days ago and I was never notified. Otherwise, I would have made alternate arrangements. Started by utilizing the chat support. Was told that I booked with Vrbo, and expedia affiliate, and was provided with the contact number. After almost an hour, and two agents promising to help me get this issue resolved, I was transferred to Marvin. This man is the most rude agent I have ever spoken to. Customer retention is not his forte. I believe I was transferred to this person just to be told that your company would be doing nothing to help with my situation. I have made my own arrangements for my stay. I have also informed several family members that use expedia regularly and they are surprised at the outcome of my predicament. They have also decided to use other mediums for any future bookings required.

Expérience négative: Billet pour Disneyland Paris acheté sur leur site pour une visite le 23 décembre. N’ayant jamais reçu les billets, mais simplement une confirmation de commande, j’ai appelé expédia qui m’a affirmé de façon certaine qu’il n’y aurait pas de problème à l’entrée du parc, que la confirmation de commande faisait office de contremarque. On m’a presque ri au nez d’appeler… Heureusement, j’ai demandé tout de même les numéros de billets, bizarre d’ailleurs qu’ expédia a réussi à me les fournir alors qu’ils étaient incapables de me les envoyer par mail. Arrivée au parc, impossible de rentrer, la confirmation de commande ne fonctionnait pas. Heureusement j’avais les numéros de billets, la personne à l’entrée, m’a confirmé que je n’aurais pas pu entrer si je ne les avais pas fournis. J’étais avec deux enfants, j’ai failli ne pas pouvoir rentrer dans le parc, c’était leur cadeau de Noël ça aurait vraiment été une grosse déception, sans parler que j’ai payé tout de même, 450 $ pour 3 billets. Je déconseille donc très fortement de faire confiance à cette société. C’est la dernière fois que je passe par ses services

Expérience négative: This review is about Expedia for TD: My experience was atrocious, trying to refund and later chage a ticket I had with them. An incredible amount of hours spent on the phone - I would have been paid more money than the value that Expedia owed me if I had been working for minimum wage during that ridiculous number of hours. And ALL FOR NOTHING: Their systems are permanently broken, incapable of checking or confirming anything, and every time I called I had to reexplain the situation from scratch to someone new, for like half an hour. The worst of all is that they didn't manage to solve it mostly due to technical problems, so they gave me a $50 coupon to shut my mouth, plus vague promises to follow the issue again in the future (which never happened). Adding insult to injury, when I decided to just go on with my life and pay from scratch for a new flight, using the coupon, through Expedia, it didn't work. More tecnhical problems. I called again and the agents couldn't figure out why the coupon wasn't working. I must have spent another 8-10 additional hours on the phone trying to figure this out. As I kept not working, I finally decide to give up on Expedia for TD and book my ticket elsewhere. Again, those $50 that I never got were a lot less valuable than the time I spent dealing with this kafkian situation. Basically: Expedia for TD is NOT Expedia, they're like a different company using the same name, way worse managed and basically broken. Use your TD points elsewhere, not for a flight. It's the worse flight booking experience I have had in my life. Great shame on TD and Expedia for allowing this thing to exist.

Expérience négative: Plateforme facile pour effectuer des réservations. Par contre, le service après vente est horrible. Nous avions loué une voiture à Lisbonne et le centre automobile était fermé. Personne ne nous a avisé et nous avons eu de grandes difficultés à contacter un agent afin de régler la situation. Étant débrouillard, nous avons trouvé un autre centre de location du même nom à 40 minutes de route. Nous tentons de nous faire rembourser notre dernier hotel, puisque nous avons dû faire affaire avec un autre centre de location automobile, mais nous faisons face à une compagnie qui se déresponsabilise et qui nous transfert de département en département.. On se croirait à un jeu du chat et de la souris. Expédia tente de mettre la faute sur ses partenaires, alors que c'est avec eux que nous avons fait les transactions. C'est une entreprise qui ne prend pas ses responsabilité et qui vraisemblablement, ne travaille que pour obtenir votre argent plutôt que votre satifsfaction Honnêtement, nous avions réservé pour quelques milliers de dollars avec expédia et ce sera la seule et unique fois que nous le ferons. De par mon expérience, je déconseille à famille et amis tout achat sur cette plateforme. Contactez directement les partenaires, vous aurez un meilleur service.

Expérience négative: Horrible experience, do not book with them. Call the hotel directly yourself. I wanted to add an additional day to my stay at a hotel in New Hampshire. I had purchased cancellation insurance. Unfortunately it does not cover additional changes to the room or cancelling of said trip. to add the additional day they wanted to charge me $243.50 American for a room that cost $103 a night. I told them my displeasure with their service and that I will never use them ever again and looked at trying to cancel my reservation only to read in the fine print that there’s nine rules regulations you have to abide by which the $25 insurance fee that I paid does not meet those requirements so forced to keep the reservation. Don’t use Expedia book directly with the hotel, and save yourself a bunch of hassle they’re useless I would write less than one star if I could.

Expérience négative: Expedia overcharged me $205.15 for a plane ticket. I have been on the phone with their customer service for THREE months to get it back. They admit it was their fault. They say they will reimburse the credit card. They don't. Then they say they will send a check. They don't. Now they say I have to ask the airline for the money, even though it's Expedia's fault and the ticket was bought through them. Never, I repeat never do business with this company, which is worth $15B but gives people the runaround to avoid paying $205.15 in overcharge.

Expérience négative: If I could give a zero I would. They are thieves. If anything doesn’t go perfectly right with your booking, they will give you the runaround over and over again until they say the file is closed because it’s been too long, not refunding your money regardless of how much backup you provide to say they said they would. They should not have a license to operate!! If you have had this experience too, submit them to the Better Business Bureau and the credit card companies. They thrive because people have little recourse on what they can do when their hard earned money has been stolen from them by Expedia.

Expérience négative: Terrible customer service. I also just found out that when a hotel is listed as VIP that just means that the hotel paid Expedia money for VIP status to trap more people into booking that property. It doesn’t mean that you will get any VIP treatment even with Expedia Gold Status which is what I have. My last trip to Quebec is coincidentally my last trip with Expedia’s terrible customer service.

Expérience négative: Service horrible. Compagnie qui fait des erreurs sans arrêt et cherche à compliquer les étapes afin de ne pas rembourser ses clients. Lorsqu'on les appel, on a pas l'impression qu'ils cherchent à aider mais bien à décourager. Je ne comprend pas qu'une compagnie qui arnaque SANS ARRÊT leurs clients peuvent rester en service sans se faire enquêter par la loi. Ça ne fait aucun sens.

Expérience négative: This is the most corrupt company I’ve dealt with and the employees are all taught different rules. They use every fee they can to reduce your credit or blame west-jet for policies which are their own. They gave me a verbal extension to use tickets after the 24 mos. Covid then kept no record they say, but what about these calls that are supposedly recorded!!! Nine of us had tickets and we all lost more than half our money which is sitting in their credit bank … and they say WestJet has money and that’s a lie. Don’t ever use them if there is the slightest chance of something going wrong

Expérience négative: Suite à plusieurs appels sans résultat, je souhaite renouveler ma demande de remboursement concernant mon voyage J’ai appelé à maintes reprises et on me répond que la demande de remboursement est bien prise en compte mais rien ne se passe. Il est écrit noir sur blanc sur votre site internet que le remboursement se faisait en 12 semaines et on est bien loin de ce délai. J’ai commandé mes billets en Août 2021!!! Inutile de vous dire que j'ai perdu entièrement confiance en vos services. Prix du voyage à rembourser : 657,66$

Each time they promise me it’s being process and to be patient, that I will get my money within 3 weeks. And every time nothing happen and I need to start from scratch. Please booked directly from the airline, nothing is worth the nightmare they have for customer service.

Expérience négative: I’ve used Expedia many times before and have never had an issue but on this trip I’ve had so many abs such a lack lustre or complete failure to respond from Expedia that I literally can not believe it!!! 1. Disney Day Pass: in the website Expedia claims their tickets include FastPass access, but after you purchase all mention of the FastPass or how to prebook with it disappears! So I call and am told I should receive an email with those details, email never comes, (yes I check spam) I call back am on hold for over an hour (with no periodic check ins or anything, radio silence for over an hour!) until my battery literally dies, but I still don’t get a call back from Expedia after the disconnect. I resort to contacting them through Facebook messenger because on the site they do not even provide a contact email. Messenger agent tells me, they will respond with in 24-48 hours, my trip is in 72 at this point, even if they resolve the fast pass issue it will be pretty much useless because all the good time slots and attractions will be fully booked. They do not respond until 8pm the day after we have already been ad Disney and furthermore they still say nothing about the fast pass but merely tell me to go to Will Call for my park tickets (obviously duh) So essentially I purchased tickets through Expedia that I could have gotten cheaper elsewhere because they claimed to include FastPass access that I never actually got to access #epic fail 2. Second issue is my car rental cost was $39 online after I cashed in Expedia rewards, they encourage you to book on the app on your phone but then bury all the fine print or in some cases like Disney tickets or car rental excess fees don’t show it at all. When I arrived my car rental cost an additional $280US because of mandatory insurance because we are Canadian and mandatory prepaid toll fees but the absolute worst is that the car rental company then insists on taking a $500-$2000 hold on your credit card!! So now my card is maxed out which makes checking into my subsequent hotels with no room on my credit card for their holds or payments near impossible and has completely exhausted my cash flow. And all I got by way of resolution from Expedia was ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ Shame on you Expedia

Called Expedia and waited for 1.5 hours on the phone - they still can't tell me what is wrong?! Being put on hold multiple times and every time the lady came back can't hear me and hang-up the Phone!!! Had to book another room with the hotel. Lucky I got a place to stay eh Expedia! TERRIBLE experience and will not recommend anyone to use Expedia!!!

Expérience négative: I would give zero stars if I could. I booked a preferred club room at the Dreams Sands in Cancun Mexico in January 2022 for a stay May 8-14. Upon arrival, we were taken to the 8 th floor where the preferred club check in is and was basically accused of lying about my 14 year olds age so he would pay a child’s price. I informed them that I marked the age of 14 as on the passport and if there was any issue to take it up with Expedia. After that was sorted out we were given a deluxe room after paying the price of a prendere club room and was told that Expedia was not allowed to sell the preferred rooms. To make a long story short, two days later Expedia did nothing but give me a 200$ credit. I dealt with the hotel, but Expedia left me holding the bag so to speak. Be careful booking with Expedia cause they will just say “ sorry for the inconvenience”. Will not book through them again and will advise everyone I know, and anyone who will listen to me when I tell them that Expedia didn’t hold up there end of the bargain

Expérience négative: Pourquoi nous payons pour des services qui ne sont pas honorés? Parce que on est assurés que ça nous facilite la vie. (?!?!?!?) Une fois l'argent dans la poche de la compagnie, les services manques, ou sont retardés par la manque du personnel, ou par la manque du respect pour les consommateurs. J'essaie, depuis 2 jours, de contacter l'Expédia Travel, pour l'assurance billet que j'ai payé. Après des heures, bloquée au téléphone, en attendant un agent auquel je peux parler, à la limite de la patience, je suis pour la deuxième journée punie. J'ai perdu mon temps et mon espoir. Aujourd'hui, presque demie journée est passée on attendant au téléphone. Au dernier appel, le service automatisé m'a assuré que je serai appeler après 15 minutes. Il y a presque 2 heures et rien. Ça, après beaucoup d'essais faites hier et aujourd'hui, depuis le matin. Maintenant est 14,35 heures... Chaque fois, après l'attente, la lieson a été coupée. Si j'ajoute que la première agente d'hier a été impolie et totalement hors de problèmes ( à la place du numéro de la compagnie d'assurance, el m'a donné le numéro de ma police d'assurance...), probablement vous comprendrez la qualité de services qu'ils offres. Je n'aime pas d'écrire des commentaires négatifs, mais ce n'est pas la première fois que je vis cette expérience. Si quelqu'un est en détresse et a besoin d'aide, comment il se débrouillera si personne ne prend pas les appels. J'espère que quelqu'un de la compagnie Expédia lira mes commentaires et apportera les changements nécessaires, pour gagner la confiance des clients et pour les remercier.

Expérience négative: Je suis tres decu par Expedia, pour moi c'est des voleurs. J'ai du annulé un voyage a cause du Covid, depuis je me bat avec le service a la clientele et perd mon temps sans succes. Ils font tout pour rendre les demarches compliquées et interminable, c'est scandaleux. Ce n'est pas possible de mettre 0 etoile, c'est j'en met une... EXPEDIA pire experience, a EVITER ABSOLUMENT. J e vais déposer une plainte au tribunal des petites creances.

Expérience négative: First they cancel my flight then they changed it Now i have struggling to get my refund back from last five months guys . They are saying they can't do anything. Never book your travel through them. Every agent have different protocols and different rules. When they want they will call the airline but when they don't want , they will tell you that the rules have been changed . They all are lying . Its almost a half year for me to calling them . Even their supervisor, they can't help you out . She called me and said I can't help you and I don't know what you can do to get your refund. They can see how many time you call but still they will tell you to wait . I can't explain in words how bad i feel to call them again and again Nd wait almost more than hours every time to get my money back . Plz don't book through them . They will never help you of something gone wrong with your flight

Expérience négative: They called me for a flight change which was completed. They sent me an email with confirmation saying not to call them that it was confirmed. Arrived at airport and Air Canada did not have the confirmation. Waited 3 hours on the phone before speaking to an agent and missed my flight. They got me on a flight the next day. They admitted their error and gave me a $200 credit to use on expedia barely covering the taxis. Be very careful when booking with them. Had been using them for 10 years however that will change going forward.

Expérience négative: I paid for a flight directly on their website 2 years ago, due to the pandemic restrictions we were not allowed to travel so they gave vouchers instead of giving back my money. when I was booking a flight using the vouchers a few days ago, I couldn’t because the vouchers were not valid. I called them and they said that go get your money from the airline or whatever. They took my money and refused to give me the service or refund. simple as that.

Was left with an incoming flight from a place I could not get to as all flights were cancelled until the return flight date. Virtual agent waste of time. Call centre based in Egypt? agent called Bob...yeah right!), on hold for hours and then they hang up. Spent many wasted hours on the phone to Expedia and Air Transat (also useless). Even when you call the number is says theres a "glitch". try and cancel via website and theres a "glitch"! Total scammers, will never use Expedia again. Go F yourselves!

Expérience négative: Booked a hotel room through Expedia with an agent, but once arrived, the receptionist surprised me saying the room I booked is unavailable. Expedia promised to refund me $250 since I was downgraded to an inferior room. The money was sent to the account of the agent even if they told me that wouldn’t happen so I called the adgent and deleted to mail because it’s what expedia told me to do. The money never arrived one month after the fact despite my numerous calls in my account. I spent 8 HOURS (!!!) over the phone with them just yesterday (many more previously). Very unprofessional, they will pass your case around like a hot potato, never caring about you or your issue. Incredibly frustrated they ruined what could have been a nice trip for $250. Avoid repeating my mistake and never book through Expedia, ever again.

Expérience négative: I will never book a vacation with Expedia Again. My friend and I booked travel together on the phone with an Expedia Agent. We both received Confirmation emails re our reservations. However, when we got to the airport we discovered that only I had a Flight and Westjet had nothing for my friend. Long Story short.. Expedia screwed up. My friend had to pay out of pocket to take the trip as she had no choice. Mistakes happen yes, but it was the Expedia service that was so abominable. They did not initially believe she booked anything and were going to dismiss her had we not challenged them that they record all their phone calls. Long story short - it took several phone calls and escalations before Expedia admitted their mistake and refunded her out of pocket expense. Ridiculous! And never again with Expedia.

Expérience négative: I called to cancel a trip and have a recording of the call. For some reason, the agent did not cancel the trip and I am being charged for a trip that I did not take. The airline tickets for the same trip were cancelled, but not the resor. I have spent several hours online and on the phone with Expedia and have rarely experienced such poor service.

Expérience négative: I'll never use your website again. I accidentally made a mistake with my reservations and selected the wrong hotel location. I called the service centre just minutes after making the reservation and they refused to help and just kept talking about how there is no cancellation policy. I can appreciate that, however this was just minutes after I made the reservation. The customer service agent was brash, not helpful, and refused to find a solution or explain the situation. Wish I could give 0 stars.

They canceled 6 one way airline tickets without my consent, when we spoke to them to cancel only three one way airline tickets because we couldn’t travel the one way we lost $$$$ because the Expedia agent neglected to inform that canceling one end of the return airline tickets would cancel the whole ticket including the return portion if you didn’t purchase travel insurance you’re out of luck; I lost 6 one way tickets across canada now with no money reimbursed by Expedia what a scammer company ! Au service à la clientèle on me dit que si je ne fais pas d'achat sur mon compte pendant 12 mois, les points disparaissent. Expedia n'est pas au courant qu'on vit une pandémie ? Expérience négative: DO NOT USE EXPEDIA EVER AGAIN. This is unbelievable, how many of us going through similar fraud with Expedia this days. We’re from Vancouver, Canada and have been victims of this fraudulent company. We had to cancel our family round trip to Mexico for Christmas and this costs us almost $7,000 CAD from which we were promised a refund for $2,500 for the hotel and $4,100 in West Jet credit vouchers. We booked a free cancellation trip in July 2021, and by October same year when we cancelled our trip all policies have been changed. I am determined to go public and contact all local reporters, TV and media I know. We have plenty of testimonies here to back up what this company is doing.

Expérience négative: Pire service à la clientèle que j'ai connu. J'ai passé une heure au téléphone à essayer de modifier une réservation pour me faire dire qu'ils ne sont pas capables de joindre l'hôtel et qu'ils leur avaient envoyé un courriel. Je n'avais qu'à attendre que l'hôtel les contacte pour approuver la modification et qu'ils m'envoient un avis par courriel pour ensuite devoir rappeler expédia pour finaliser la modification. Je ne sais pas combien de temps c'est sensé prendre pour régler tout ça, mais ça va être vraiment long, parce que l'hôtel nous a dit qu'ils n'avaient rien reçu d'expedia... N'utilisez surtout pas expédia pour vos réservations à moins de n'avoir aucun autre choix!

J'ai utilisé le site expédia.ca pour louer une voiture, rendu au moment de prendre possession de la voiture, le service est fermé. Aucun moyen de récupérer la voiture. Je vérifie donc les compagnies de locations de voitures sur place et réserve a nouveau au double du prix. Expedia refuse de me rembourser. Après plusieurs appels et courriels de ma part, aucune nouvelles de leur part.

Expérience négative: Be extra careful when you book the flight ticket through Expedia! No matter what the credit card payment goes through or not, airline companies CAN ISSUE THE TICKETS from your credit card and you would not be received the itinerary from Expedia. EXTRA CAREFUL and if there is a payment processing error, call right away to Expedia and let them fix it other than that you will have very unpleasant experience like me. Even though requested the refund right away but they just instructed me incorrectly (every supervisor and representatives told me different stories) then finally they never admitted their mistakes and told me to do small claim suit to the airline company. IT TOOK 8 MONTHS!!!!!!! Even managers are not professional at all. They are not listening and just say whatever they insist. I am sure everybody knows that it is very difficult to get refund from Expedia and no more booking anything through Expedia until I die.

Expérience négative: Never ever buy ticket or book a hotel from Expedia. The worst agent I have ever met. I’ve booked a package with them in August (my travel date is Dec). Everything is going fine at the beginning. I’ve got the air tickets and hotel confirmation by email. So I go ahead to book the local tours and paid for it, which is non-refundable. After 2 1/2 months later, Expedia just sent an email to notify me the hotel I booked was not available. The time closer to the travel date, the price goes higher, they offered a cheap cheap motel which is far lower price compared to what we paid. As I have paid for all the local tours, I have to accept their offer. I would give them a negative star if I can.

Expérience négative: I would give no stars if I could. Their call center agents including Andrew would not honor the price on their own website and gave multiple reasons to justify. I spent 2 days with a total of 5 hours trying to get through to them, explaining my situation (credit I had to redeem from a cancelled flight towards a new flight), being passed around from one supervisor to the other, and finally after 5 hours over 2 days got to speak to Sophia in corporate only for her to tell me that she will not honor the price that I had quoted in the beginning of my call with Expedia and I had to pay extra $100. Folks, stay away from them! Customer service is DEAD when it comes to Expedia!

Expérience négative: These guys are just an interface to nothing. If everything goes as expected with your ticket, you don't have a problem. God forbid you have the slightest hiccup. They have no control over anything. They just basically tell you it is you and the airline and there's nothing they can do. There's no warranties or after-sale support. Once I bought travel insurance over their website, the airline abruptly changed my flight and I had to re-purchase travel insurance because it was bound to the original ticket. As much as you can, book directly with your Airline.

Expérience négative: Will never deal with them anymore. They work for them and not the customer ! They mainly just recite their riules and regulations and does not try to help you. Worst thing is that they don't sympathize and doesn't try to accomodate you by providing other options at rebate...My suggestion is to work directly with the airlines. Book your hotel and car yourself. This way you will avoid having to call a company that does not care and your airline provider will have acces to your flight reservation. I hope you will follow my advice.

Expérience négative: Expedia advertised a tour to a country that is not fit for tourism. They happily took my hard-earnt money. However, that country had been ravaged by a hurricane, had a visa office that is completely unresponsive, yet expedia kept that tour on their website and didn’t even display a travel advisory. I tried to get a refund, but they did not care about their customers. While their customer service was not completely horrible, they were indeed not helpful at all. I would advise people not to trust any tour they see on expedia. Your are much better off dealing with a local agent who actually vets the tours before sending their clients to.

Nous avions des billets pour novembre sur Saint-Martin achetés sur expedia, malheureusement Irma a tout détruit. Donc , plan B on choisi Aruba avec la même cie aérienne et les mêmes dates. On appelle expedia et malheur on nous charge 200$+taxes par personne pour le changement et me disent que c est la politique d american airlinest!!, c est beaucoup pour un billet payé 560$!!! Donc, apres une heure de niaisiage et quelques insultes je raccroche et on appelle American airlines....resultats 9.37$ de plus par personne pour le changement!!!!! Morale de l histoire....terminé pour expedia on reserve directement avec la cie aerienne!!!! #commentfaireducashavecirma
