Negative experience: I usually book 2 vacations a year with sell off, Holly Whyte was our travel agent this time. My friend and I are traveling with a group off ppl which she was aware of and for some reason she booked us an early return flight? Which makes no sense. We arrive late getting to our hotel around 9pm and our departure flight, we have to check out of our hotel room at 6 AM when the rest of our group doesn't have to check out till 7 PM and now she wants to charge us $250 each to change our return flights. She didn't meantion travel insurance, so I thought it was already included, very unprofessional. I will never book with sell off vacations again.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a travel agent that will go above and beyond I highly recommend Holly Whyte. She was very knowledgeable and had no problems giving me lots of options. It took me a lot longer than it should have to get this trip booked and Holly never made me feel pressured and was still available to answer my questions and make great recommendations, she will be the only travel agent I use from here on out.

Negative experience: We unfortunately booked over the phone , we had the trip online at home and called to clarify some questions regarding luggage . We were booking to add into a group trip, and mentioned the flight s we would be joining, booking was very quick, and once we printed out the paperwork a few days later we noticed the return flight was not the same as our group. We called to have this fixed and was told we would have to pay a penalty, even though the trip is 3 months away and booked under a week ago. Very unhelpful.

Fantastic experience: Sherika Clarke went above and beyond settling up our travel. She took the time and patience setting up the app and everything needed on my phone. Not her fault but I do wish the office could give us printed tickets and printouts for excursions, still nervous of technology not working.

Negative experience: Sharika is by far the worst travel agent out there!!!!! Told us our hotel had certain things and wasn’t true. Also she told us we would have round trip transportation also not true. By far the worst booking agent out there everyone beware she’s a scam artist!!!!!! Also she said plane was full and it was 75 percent full and made us pay for business class. Again beware of the BIGGEST SCAM ARIST OUT THERE

Negative experience: They did not tell us everything we had to go back and ask questions they didn't explain everything right other places at least would have a printer so it was a nightmare couse she would have to send all the paper work to my email then had to go to staples to print the tickets and everything else couse my parents don't know much about cell phones and the new stuff there older generation but they were not happy with the service they got from thwre won't be going back.

Positive experience: The place is above average . I enjoyed myself with my wife and 5 year old and other family members. Food is good not amazing but normal . The grounds are beautiful, the hospitality is amazing. Beach on the grand side amazing no seaweed or stones just beautiful sand . Bathrooms through the resort very clean . Pools clean, drinks are delicious, they do make them strong but eh ur on vacation they want u to have fun . This resort is big and gets packed only downfall , you better enjoy walking cause there is alot but I meen u are walking in paradice. My room was amazing 16403 beautiful view everything worked amazing maybe to well ac cold fridge cold water psi perfect. Would i go back probably not i like small resorts but this is a beautiful well kept resort u won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: We have booked 5 trips with the stcatharines office, but our recent experience will be our last.We booked a trip in April and due to covid we had to cancel sept28. We had insurance so all funds should have been refunded. After many phones calls , emails , calls to sell off main line, and emails to supervisors not one person has followed up with us. After 3 months we are still awaiting our refund and an answer. The customer service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered.

Negative experience: Re: Heather Price Due to the covid pandemic many vacations of mine have been cancelled which is understandable. As a frequent vacationer I have always left any credits in place as they are easily used. Heather Price took it upon herself to take my Air Canada Vacations credit (no expiry date) and ask ACV to refund my outstanding balance. This came as a total surprise as I had never asked for this to be done. She did this on April 17 2021. It is now July 19 2021 and I have not received anything. The balance owing is $1673.00. While her intention may have good, it does not change the fact that she acted upon this herself without contacting me directly for instruction on this matter. I am presently on a Air Canada Vacation and could have used part of the credit instead of having to pay for this out of pocket.

Sell off was the only one we could get through on the phone. Turned out 5 of the trips went through. I have never had an agent like Dominika....she went out of her way to help sort out this mess and help with details of the trip we got booked. Dealt with 2 people from Selloffvacations and very impressed with your staff....to me good staff means its a good company. They care about jobs. Right now I am a HUGE fan of Selloffvacations

Negative experience: I went to Varadero BeLive experience on Nov 23rd which I booked with sell off vacations. The airline was Air Transat that they booked me on. Upon arriving at Belive experience whichbwas formerly Hotel Villa Cuba it is really rundown looking. When I checked in they brought me to my room in a golf cart which was in a villa. They room smelled funny, the toilet did not work and looked horrible. I went to the front desk to ask for a new room I was told come back tomorrow. I went to the desk asked for a new room I was told no so I waited for the air transat rep she finally got me a new room. The only difference in this room was the toilet flushed. The tv had no sound, the air conditioner had a inch of black mold inside it. The sheet for my bed was under the pillow not put on bed. The shower flew off wall when water was put on. I didnt get water 2 days(only there 4 days of 7) and 1 day no laundry because I was told they ran out. After 3 days I decided enough is enough I need to leave this hole. I contacted the air transat rep at hotel and asked if if could switch flights and come home early. She got back to me and said good news there is an opening on the plane because it is not full. I could do this for $400.00. Well I just about lost my mind. I ended up coming home for $330.00 on westjet. I was booked to return Jan 9th to go back with my mother, obviously this was not going to happen so I called selloff. They said because I was 41 days out and not 44 I would lose half my money which is $1200.00. So I ended up with a 4 day vacation to Belive experience which cost me an extra $1530.00. Never again will I deal with the scammy company or Air Transat.

Fantastic experience: Earlier this month, my boyfriend and I took our first vacation to the Dominican Republic. We went to Riu Republica and the experience was more than we had expected. All of this wouldn't have been possible without Laurie Holdsworth. Laurie made the process easy and was super friendly and attentive. Since this was my first time travelling without a parent and my boyfriends first time out of the country, we had a ton of questions. Laurie's response time was incredible. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Barbara Szulikowski! My mother and I walked in very close to closing time, she was only one counselor in and she was in the middle of an appointment. She very kindly told us that she would only be about 20 minutes and she was worth the wait! She respected our budget and walked us through our best options while also exploring the each option in depth with us. We managed to get a fantastic deal! My mother and I would definitely recommend Barbara to anyone and we will certainly be working with her again!
