Positive experience: We used this store to get pictures and arrange for an international drivers permit. Good service and friendly staff, I just wish we still had a CAA store in Kitchener/Waterloo.

Fantastic experience: I took a friend here to get an International Drivers License. It is a well laid out store with luggage and other travel items for sale. The staff were very polite and efficient. Our customer service person recognized my CAA card was faded, and she ordered me a new one.

Fantastic experience: Went in to purchase travel insurance for a small trip I was planning. Was lucky enough to be welcomed by Maria, who was wonderful. She was thorough, thoughtful and kind. Had all the time I needed to sort out my specific medical issues and find a solution that was fair and affordable, and I'm not even a CAA member. I definitely left very happy and appreciative!

Negative experience: The worst insurance I have ever had! Don’t ever get this insurance. They will ruin you!!!!

Fantastic experience: Came in on a Friday at 1 pm and was all taken care of by 1:10. Needed an International Driver’s Licence. No issues $31 w tax. CAA plus membership but it’s a Federal issue so it’s not a CAA product.

Negative experience: Recently, I upgraded my membership to "Premier RV". Friday, August 23, 2024 I had a breakdown with my boat trailer. When I called they said they would locate the equipment needed to tow the trailer and boat, and that the driver would call or text an ETA. I also went to the website to watch the progress of the call. So, first call was 4:14 pm. Heard nothing for 2 hours. I called back at 6:22 pm, and was told the ETA was 2 hours, so, 8:22 pm. I never did hear from a driver, or anyone else. Thankfully a friend called and we rounded up the equipment needed to rescue the boat and trailer, and remove it from the side of the road so it was no longer a hazard to traffic. Thanks for nothing CAA. I would NOT recomend that anyone waste their money on the upgrade. For me, it was worthless. Less than worthless. Because I trusted CAA to help me, I wasted 5 hours, during which time my trailer was a hazard to navigation on a very busy road.

Fantastic experience: Got passport photos for my family and I here, I am not a member but my husband is. Members pictures are free for one set then extra ones are 8.99. It was a pleasant experience, quick service and the employees were very helpful and friendly at this location.

Negative experience: Had a very poor experience, left stranded at the side of the highway by a towing company instructed by CAA. Emailed CAA about it 7 days ago to provide the feedback. They didn't respond. Lost trust in the recovery service.

Negative experience: Every time I call CAA, they say it'll be a certain time before they get here. I look at the interactive map and can see the tow truck location that they dispatched. EVERY TIME I am left waiting for at least three times as long as they say, and the tow truck doesn't move on the interactive map at all. I am canceling my CAA account because I would rather pay a little more and actually get towed the same dang day.

Positive experience: Phoned to speak with travel adviser on a Wednesday automatic response said I would be contacted within 48 hours. After two days I phoned again Friday. Got the same response but left message I had called already on Wed with no response. I shortly got a call and she took my information and said she would get back to me with some options probably Monday. Never heard from her again. Not fair to give a three star to CAA as a whole as I have always met with positive customer reps. If I had to rate my experience on this I wouldn’t give her one star.

Positive experience: Somewhat fast and efficient. Went in for a IDL. Luckily no line inside, fully staffed office. Had my form filled out ahead of time. Had to wait a minute or two for staff to enter information on their computer. Had to sign pretty much the same form. If I had known, I would have not pre filled the form. Staff was friendly and office clean.

Negative experience: Caa insurance what a scam. Did a quote online it asks if I had any at fault accidents, I don't. And when I called because they were the cheapest they denied me because I've been hit twice but not my fault. Useless company why would you ask if I've had any at fault if you say bull like that. And you also want a safety done, you guys really like screwing people over huh.

Fantastic experience: I went there for an IDP during a weekday in the morning. I was able to get my picture taken, and have IDP issues within 10-15 mins. The staff was super friendly and greeted me as well.

Negative experience: Not acknowledged by any staff. Waited in line too long. Walked out as did the customer in front of me.

Fantastic experience: As both Waterloo and Kitchener CAA locations are closed, I drove to the nearest CAA store - Brantford. I arrived around 9:30am. I needed an International Driver's License (IDL) and information on travel insurance. The advisor was very helpful, asking me if I needed help as I entered the store. I was out in 25 minutes with the license and the insurance info I needed. The store is open, clean and inviting. Highly recommend driving to Brantford if you need an IDL, and live in the Region of Waterloo.

Positive experience: I wanted to change my automatic payment credit card, the web page does not allow it. I have to go into a store. I changed the credit card on 5 other company web pages no problem, I was surprised they do not have this option.

Negative experience: Called 11:45 am this morning for booster of battery. Told to expect them at 1:50 pm but at 3 pm no show. Called CAA Brantford again, now saying 4pm 4 hrs later!! My husband had appointment for 4pm which has now been cancelled. Should have gone with Canadian Tire. If they don't turn up at 4pm we will ask for money back.

Negative experience: If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I’ve been waiting 5 hours for a tow and I’m still waiting. I will not be renewing my membership I’ve had for 25 years.

Positive experience: Helpful staff. We are CAA members and went to purchase medical insurance for our next trip. They were having issues with thier Tech and had to restart thier computers many times which I got the impression was normal.

Fantastic experience: Great experience all around! The employees were extremely friendly and helpful, and on top of that they were efficient and were able to solve my inquiry in less that 15 minutes of entering the store. My only complaint is that I had to drive all the way from Guelph to Brantford since the Kitchener location closest to me still has not yet opened - not sure what's going on there.

Fantastic experience: I had a recent great experience in visiting and getting my International Drivers License from this location. Unfortunately the store in Cambridge recently closed and the one in Kitchener is showing as temporarily closed still. This is the closest one to Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge for the time being.

Positive experience: Came down from Kitchener-Waterloo to renew my membership. I was quickly and efficiently in and out. Deeply disappointed that they continue to say the Kitchener-Waterloo office is temporarily closed..... it has been a months and months now...

When I was helped with my membership I was given a trunk organizer and $10 off my membership fees for the wait. Staff here were very personable and kind. Would highly recommend this location!!

Negative experience: So slow had to cancel kind driver gave me a boost , so many steps to get a service call but so easy to cancel the call, looking for a alternative.
