Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Trip to Samana in July 2024. Delayed by 1 day **at our expense**. Lost luggage! Written response to the complaint received after 1 month. Refund amounted to 1% of the stay costs. Do not deal with this agency. Run away!
Negative experience: This company is the same as red tag. I booked a trip, and approximately 3 hours later when I received the invoice, I noticed that the dates were incorrect by 1 day. I thought possibly my mistake but realize I wouldn’t have chosen the set return date as it would interfere with school for my children. When I called, the rep I spoke with advised that there is nothing that they can do, unless I paid their fees in addition to the fees of sunwing which would amount to over $600!! And this is despite the fact that the intended dates would actually have been $700 cheaper! The level of service I received was dismal. When asking to speak with Sunwing, I was told that they wouldn’t speak with me because I booked through them. When I asked them to conference sunwing in on the call, they said they’re not authorized. When I asked to have a manager call me back, I was told that even if they did they can’t do anything. It also would take approximately 3 days for me to even hear from a manager but even then, it would be useless, they won’t help me. I would would recommend booking with any other company. I’ve encountered an issue once before with Expedia that I needed to make a change and there was no issue at all. No fees. I urge you all to look at the reviews and know that the reason they are low are for a true reason. Their practises are not only disappointing but downright insulting, but now I am also concerned and worried about if I were to encounter any issues while away. I will certainly update if there are any addition issues with this company

Second time I booked vacation with your company but this time I am very disappointed Why I paid all inclusive ( including tax ,hotel, meals ..) by when coming the hotel Grand oasis charge tax about 76$ USA / room ?safety box 10$us/ day ? This charge not details information in you web and hotel too? I think your company contacts with hotel details clearly “ all inclusive “ not charged extras like that ! Thank

Negative experience: This agency is incompetent. Before booking a package with them for Havana, I called to ask where the PCR test takes place and they told me at the hotel itself, so I made the reservation. In the end, when I got there, they told me that they had never done tests and that it was in a clinic in Havana. On the day of the test, we left at 10:15 to arrive at the clinic by 11:30, there was a huge waiting line right on the sidewalk. We went out with the test at 18:15. Walking (no taxi) 3.8 km to go to the city center and from there another taxi to the hotel for $25.00 US, with my stomach in my heels. I called them and they said they never told me that.

Negative experience: Nothing but trouble from start to finish. Worst customer service imaginable. Long hold times on calls, and they hang up on you after long wait music. Very difficult getting Covid-19 refunds.

Negative experience: Booking a trip is easy with itravel2000 just as it is with any other travel site. Unfortunately, I booked an AirCanada Vacation but itravel listed it as a 4 star when AirCanada has it at 3 stars... Thought I was getting an awesome price, in fact, I just got screwed over. When I contacted customer service they claimed the rating is not their fault. Great customer service...not ! Anyways, next trip will be with a more reputable travel site.

Negative experience: it's been 2 months now and im still waiting for my refund of $2750.00 cad. As per Itravel 2000 (Brinda) they will re-send the refund. Brinda e-mail. **Hello, Please ignore tthe previous email as she was unaware of the 50% refund. As per our previous conversation,Sunwing advised the refund of $2760.00 will appear on your card in 5-10 business days: on the original credit card that was used to purchase your previous trip. Date on e-mail was sent on June 11th
Negative experience: I bought a ticket with Itravel2000. I received and email saying that the transaction was being processed and that a costumer service rep will contact me soon. They never did. When I called them the rep told me that he will call me back within an hour to double check the cc (not sure why he couldn’t do it as we spoke) I asked him if the seats were reserved for me and the answer was yes. He never called so I call again only to be told the ticket was no longer available. No idea why! The agent tried to sell me a ticket from Toronto (I live in Montreal). Do not waste your time with this company. Go to the airline website and buy your ticket there. The agent was defensive and got upset and sarcastic when I asked for his name and employee number. Awful service!
Negative experience: I couldn't get service in French on Monday at 9:30 am. I had completed the entire reservation process on Saturday, but the system was down without any information... when trying by phone, I learned that the service ended at 5 pm. On Monday, prices had increased. On my reservation, I notice that itravel2000 has been changed to red label vacation. It's over for me to do business with itravel2000.

Positive experience: I checked WestJet's rates from Ottawa to Vancouver for September 4-9 and then called Holly Fisher at Itravel 2000 to see if she could match it plus honour WestJet's policies regarding refund or changes. She said "YES". I should mention that I have booked trips down south (Mexico/Dominican Republic) for the past 3 or more years and in this case wanted to give my business to Itravel 2000 (I also purchased cancellation insurance at an extra cost). As it happened my sister in Winnipeg with whom I was sharing hotel accommodation became unfit to travel--she has a broken ankle. When I emailed Holly to explain the circumstances and that in view of now having to bear on my own the $150.00 per night hotel rate (6 nights) at the Ocean Promenade in White Rock, B.C., could I change the date to September 5-9, she called me to say "NO". Her explanation was that to get the cheapest WestJet rate at the time of booking (the rate has since gone down which is guaranteed by WestJet to match if price falls), she had to go through a "CO-ORDINATOR" who refused to honour any of WestJet's policies--CONTRARY TO WHICH SHE ASSURED ME ITRAVEL 2000 WOULD. WHY THE NEED FOR A CO-ORDINATOR WHEN I FOUND THE PRICE ON MY OWN ON THE INTERNET I called WestJet to explain and they took down full notes and advised me to call the Itravel 2000 supervisor and ask for a tape of our conversation wherein Holly assured me WestJet's policies would be honoured, on which strength I made the booking. I did so and instead of the supervisor calling me back and verifying the taped assurance, Holly called me back and reiterated that my only option was to lose the entire $813.00 plus travel insurance of $56.00 and then fight with the insurance company for reimbursement! Really! I called WestJet back and explained all of this and in 5 minutes they took over my booking and made the change requested, and did not charge a change fee for doing so. My respect for Westjet soared; my respect for Itravel 200 has gone. The lesson here is that you cannot trust what Itravel 2000's agents promise.
