Negative experience: The wait times are too long.
We are sorry to hear that the delay was longer than usual at our travel center. Please be assured that your message has been forwarded to the relevant department.
Negative experience: Very poor service. The advisors do not know the products sold and refuse to take them back afterwards. Their argument is that the customer should do their own research to know if the product is suitable for them and ask if it is refundable before purchasing. I have never seen such miserable service when they claim to be qualified in travel goods and services. Since I have to do my own research and cannot rely on the advice received in the store, I should have bought on Amazon to at least have a customer service that meets expectations.

Negative experience: No possibility of returning your purchases at this location. The invoice states that you have 30 days to return your merchandise and the staff on site refuse any returns. They do not adhere to the return policy that is stated on the invoice. It's unacceptable. I will never do business with CAA again and I will never renew my subscription.

Negative experience: Roadside assistance in the USA is virtually non-existent. On the first call, the mechanic had defective equipment and was unable to inflate a tire. Two days later, the same problem occurred; after 3 hours of waiting, we canceled the service. The spring loaned us a compressor. Why pay CAA Quebec ...

Fantastic experience: For a 3rd time, I booked a trip with Michael Arguin. He is a travel agent who offers wise and honest advice that takes our tastes into account. I wouldn't change agents for anything in the world. His follow-up on the file is impeccable; he listens well. I highly recommend him!

En sortant à la gare, j'ai vu une unité de C.A.A., dont je suis membre, et j'ai demandé au chauffeur si il pouvait me donner les directions du Palais de Congrès, car j'avais l'intention de marcher. Le monsieur en question, ne m'a pas seulement donné les directions, mais il m'a demandé si j'ai voulu un lift. Il m'a conduit directement au Palais. Un gros remerciement à Claude de l'unité B2. Fantastic experience: Être membre du CAA est un must. Toujours de l'excellent service, autant sur la route qu'en boutique. Être membre donne droit à des prix plus que raisonnable.
Fantastic experience: J’ai téléphoné pour réserver un voyage à Disney pour 7 personnes. L’agente qui a pris mon dossier était parfaite. Très sympathique, rapide, service à la clientèle impeccable, hyper rapide pour retour d’appels ou de courriels. Service au delà de mes attentes, vraiment!

Positive experience: Very good service
Negative experience: Good to know when traveling in France... No need to buy an international driving permit from CAA Quebec (at a cost of $45) as it is not necessarily required in France. This was my case, at least in Brittany. CALL YOUR RENTAL COMPANY - in France or elsewhere - to check and validate whether this driving permit is indeed mandatory. CAA Quebec hides behind a document from the Government of Canada to cover up its incompetence and rake in money. By the way, the international driving permit is FREE in France.
Negative experience: There's no need to make an appointment; if you're around, they will take you, and even when there are 4 counters, only 1 agent is available...
Negative experience: Very bad experience, it felt like we were bothering the girl at the reception and the agent who received us did not seem to listen to us at all... at one point it was awkward and we left. I have traveled the world and this is one of the worst services I have received so far and it's in my home in Quebec!!!
Positive experience: Baby photos are only taken at their place. But they lack the technique, especially for babies younger than 4 or 5 months (who can't sit up and can't hold their little heads). You can find everything you need for traveling.

Negative experience: Very bad experience, the employee who handled my international driver's license (a certain Lucas) stuck my photo on incorrectly and transcribed my information wrong, one of his colleagues had to redo the document completely. When I left the store I checked my bill and realized that the first employee had charged me for 2 passport photos ($35) even though I had gotten them done at the pharmacy beforehand. The employee realized all these mistakes and did not correct anything...
Negative experience: The identity photo service is great; however, regarding the travel service, how can you explain that before even going on vacation, I have lost the desire to go on vacation? I come for advice, and I leave on the verge of tears. To be told that it’s not possible to travel with babies to those destinations (Hawaii/Costa Rica) and not help me find alternatives, what are you paid for then? To stay behind your desk, wait for your paycheck, laugh at clients who don’t have an unlimited budget, and then speak loudly so everyone hears? Great, then I will apply to CAA as a travel agent; it seems so easy! You laughed in my face because my budget, which is between $5,000 and $8,000, is too little for 10/12 days; you have to be bold. Let’s be honest; I felt belittled, humiliated, almost judged because I think I didn’t fit the stereotype of a rich client or the one she would earn her commission from, so she clearly didn’t want to waste her time. The conclusion is that I wanted to be advised about at least a different destination than those mentioned above, and I left with no alternatives, just discouragement, and I felt poor. If you want to save money and feel discouraged about going on vacation, ask for Manon; she is excellent for that. So darling, if you don’t like your job, do something else than customer service, or retire because to be so contemptuous means you must be eager not to see clients anymore, as at 3:30 PM, you yourself told me, 'I am tired; can’t wait for my day to end.' Bravo, you probably worked from 9 to 5.

Fantastic experience: Que dire de plus que c'est l'endroit idéal pour trouver tout ce que vous avez besoin avant de partir en voyage. J'aime beaucoup la disponibilité des commis pour vous aider à choisir les bons items de plus il y a la possibilité d'avoir le magnifique Trip Kit je sais que plusieurs d'entre vous en GPS ou des applications identiques mais le trip kit reste pour moi un outil indispensable pour les voyages sur la route surtout si vous n'avez pas fait les mises à jour GPS sur votre Garmin ou si le signal vient à manquer. De plus il y a possibilité d'avoir des services sur place pour magasiner vos voyages à l'étranger en toute confiance. Je fais affaire avec CAA voyage depuis déjà 1989 et j'utilise encore leurs services aujourd'hui.

Negative experience: VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Don't offer the baby photo service if your employees don't have the skills and patience to do it. I went there to get my one-month-old baby's passport photo and I didn't appreciate the service at all. While I was trying to get my daughter to look at the camera, an older employee came and stood right in front of us to look at the baby, as if it were a show! It was impossible to take the photo during that time. Then, another employee came to complain that it was taking too long and that they had other clients to photograph! He started putting a stuffed animal in front of my baby's face when we had not asked for it and given her very young age (one month), IT SERVES ABSOLUTELY NO PURPOSE EXCEPT TO SCARE HER. With all this stimulation, my daughter started crying and the 20-year-old employee who was taking the photo had the nerve to tell me 'that's hunger cries, you should feed her', AS IF SHE KNEW MY CHILD BETTER THAN I DID. In short, I will never go back and I advise everyone to avoid this place for your passport photos.
